Abstract

Αποκαλύπτονται μέθοδοι για την ανίχνευση, απαρίθμηση κι ανάλυση κυκλοφορούντων κυττάρων όγκου που εκφράζουν υποδοχείς στεροειδών, ειδικά υποδοχείς οιστρογόνου. Αυτές οι μέθοδοι είναι χρήσιμες για σάρωση και σταδιοποίηση καρκίνου, ανάπτυξη σχημάτων θεραπευτικής αγωγής και για την παρακολούθηση αποκρίσεων στην θεραπευτική αγωγή, υποτροπή καρκίνου ή τα παρόμοια.
