Abstract
<p>Se divulgan las mejoras a un extintor de incendios portable. Las mejoras permiten Ia inspección y mantenimiento frecuente y simplificado de un extintor de incendios con Ia mínima capacitación y sin requerir equipo especializado. Las mejoras incluyen un mecanismo antiaglutinamiento que puede articularse desde el exterior de Ia cámara para esponjar, mezclar o agitar el polvo dentro de Ia cámara y así mantenerlo en estado de licuefacción. Otras mejoras incluyen una abertura más grande para un llenado rápido e inspección del polvo dentro de Ia cámara. Otra mejora incluye el uso de de un cartucho de C02 localizado en el exterior de Ia cámara para facilitar el mantenimiento o el reemplazo de solo el cartucho de C02 así como Ia capacidad de mantener Ia cámara en una condición libre de presión lo que permite el envío sin HASMAT. Estas características amplían los intervalos de mantenimiento en tanto conservan al extintor de incendio en condición activa.</p>
