Abstract
1.- Un método para preparar un material de pulpa blanqueada que tiene brillantez mejorada y resistencia mejorada al amarillamiento térmico, que comprende: i) proporcionar material de pulpa blanqueada; y ii) poner en contacto el material de pulpa blanqueada con una cantidad efectiva de uno o más agentes oxidantes excluyendo peroxiácidos orgánicos. 2.- El método de la reivindicación 1, que comprende además poner en contacto el material de pulpa blanqueada con uno o más abrillantadores ópticos, uno o más quelantes, o uno o más agentes reductores, o combinaciones de los mismos. 3.- El método de la reivindicación 1, en donde el material de pulpa blanqueada se selecciona del grupo que consiste de pulpa virgen, pulpa reciclada, pulpa de papel Kraft, pulpa de sulfito, pulpa mecánica, cualquier combinación de tales pulpas, papel reciclado, papel de seda y cualquier papel o productos de papel hechos de tales pulpas o combinaciones de las mismas. 4.- El método de la reivindicación 1, en donde el agente oxidante se aplica en combinación con uno o más activadores. 5.- El método de la reivindicación 1, en donde los agentes oxidantes se seleccionan del grupo que consiste de peróxido de hidrógeno, peróxidos inorgánicos, superóxidos y peróxido-superóxidos, peroxiácidos inorgánicos y sales de los mismos, peroxihidratos, peróxidos orgánicos solubles en agua, nitrosodisulfontos, hipocloritos, hipobromitos, cloritos, cloratos, bromatos, percloratos, dióxido de cloro, cloroaminas, cloroamidas, clorosulfamidas, bromoaminas, bromoamidas, bromosulfamidas, ácido clorosulfónico, ácido bromosulfónico y cloro. 6.- El método de la reivindicación 1, en donde el agente oxidante se selecciona del grupo que consiste de peróxido de hidrógeno, peróxido de hidrógeno activado, hipocloritos, hipobromitos, cloroaminas, cloroamidas, clorosulfamidas, bromoaminas, bromoamidas, bromosulfamidas, ácido clorosulfónico y ácido bromosulfónico. 7.- El método de la reivindicación 2, en donde el agente reductor se selecciona del grupo que consiste de fosfinas sustituidas, sulfitos, bisulfitos y metabisulfitos. 8.- El método de la reivindicación 2, en donde el quelante se selecciona del grupo que consiste de fosfonatos orgánicos, fosfatos, ácidos carboxílicos, sales y cualquiera de los miembros anteriores y cualquier combinación de los mismos.
