Abstract
1.- Copolímero de peso molecular ultra alto útil como reductor del flujo lento para hidrocarburos caracterizado porque comprende:a) un monómero de alfa-olefina que tiene una longitud de cadena de carbono de entre 4 y 9 átomos de carbono; y b) un primer comonómero, el primer comonómero tiene una longitud de cadena de carbono de entre 2 y 20 átomos de carbono o comprende un monómero aromático vinílico, el primer comonómero es diferente del monómero de alfa-olefina en donde el copolímero de peso molecular ultra alto tiene un peso molecular mayor de 1 millón y el copolímero de peso molecular ultra alto comprende una mayoría de monómeros con entre 4 y 9 carbonos (contenido molar) y menos del 25% de monómeros (contenido molar) con longitudes de cadena de carbono de 12 o más largas, y además en donde el copolímero de peso molecular ultra alto no tiene ninguna fracción reluctante, como se midió por la prueba de Filtración en caliente-Esfuerzo cortante en frío (ColdShear Warm Filtration).12.- Método para elaborar un copolímero de peso molecular ultra alto útil como reductor del flujo lento caracterizado porque comprende:(a) polimerizar a granel, en ausencia de un solvente, una mezcla de un monómero de alfa-olefina que tiene una longitud de cadena de carbono entre de 4 y 9 átomos de carbono y un primer comonómero, el primer comonómero tiene una longitud de cadena de carbono de entre 2 y 11 átomos de carbono o comprende un monómero aromático vinílico el primer comonómero es diferente del monómero de alfa-olefina, en donde la mezcla comprende por lo menos 50% de monómeros (contenido molar) de longitudes de cadena de carbono entre 4 y 9 átomos de carbono y en donde la mezcla no comprende más del 25% de monómeros (contenido molar) de longitudes de cadena de carbono de 12 o más largas; y (b) formar el copolímero de peso molecular ultra alto, en donde el copolímero de peso molecular ultra alto tiene un peso molecular mayor de 1 millón.
