Abstract
Un proceso que comprende polimerizar un monomero de olefina, opcionalmente en combinacion con un comonomero de olefina, en presencia de un catalizador de polimerizacion en un diluyente, en un reactor de bucle que comprende al menos 2 secciones horizontales y al menos 2 secciones verticales, para producir una fase semilíquida que comprende un polímero de olefina particulado solido y el diluyente, donde el numero de Froude en al menos 20% de la longitud de las secciones verticales del bucle del reactor es menor que 85% del numero de Froude en al menos 20% de la longitud de las secciones horizontales del bucle.
