Abstract

Un método para elaborar una hoja de papel tisú que comprende:(a) formar un sustrato de tisú;(b) desaguar el sustrato de tisú;(c) trasnferir el sustrato desaguado hacia la superficie de un tambor de secado a través sin estar soportado por una tela de secado a través, dicha superficie del tambor de secado a través que tiene una pluralidad de rebordescircunferenciales;(d) secar el sustrato mientras está sobre la superficie del tambor de secado a través; y(e) retirar el sustrato secado de la superficie del tambor de secado a través.Un aparato de secado a través para secar un sustrato, dicho aparato que comprende un tambor de secado a través perforado que tiene una pluralidad de rebordes circunferenciales, un capuchón de aire caliente para suministrar aire caliente hacia la superficie del tambor de secado a través, una zona de vacío dentro del tambor de secado a través para dirigir aire caliente desde el capuchón de aire caliente hacia adentro a través de la superficie del tambor de secado a través para sustrato, y un medio para retirar el sustrato secado de la superficie del tambor de secado a través.<EMI FILE="99076649_1" ID="1" IMF=JPEG >
