Abstract
Un polímero aromático de monovinilideno modificado concaucho que posee una distribución de tamaño de partícula bimodal, que comprende :a) partículas de caucho de un cauho de estrella o ramificado que tiene una viscosidad de solución (5% en estireno a 20°C) menor a 120 mPa.s y una viscosidad Mooney menor a 80 mPa.s, con un tamaño de partícula promedio en volumen de 0,1 a 1,5 µm, y morfología de núcleo/coraza o celular o una mezcla de las mismas, yb) partículas de caucho estrellado o ramificado de baja viscosidad, caucho de dieno lineal o caucho de copolímero de bloque con un tamaño de partícula promedio en volumen de 1,5 a 10 µm, caracterizado porque las partículas de caucho de b) son más densas que las particulas de caucho de a) y poseen un contenido ocluido menor de polímero aromático de monovinilideno que las partículas de a),en donde las partículas de a) son de 50 a 99% en peso del contenido total de caucho de dieno.
