Abstract

Se describen nuevas polialquileniminas N-sustituidasque tienen al menos un sustituyente orgánico de como mínimo 6 átomos de carbono, por ejemplo 2-hidroxioctadecilo, en al menos un átomo de nitrógeno.Las mismas pueden ser preparadas por reacción de una polialquilenimina con un epóxido o con una imina o con un compuesto de fórmula R-(X)a -Y en donde R es un grupo orgánico, X es un grupo polar, Y es un grupo nucleófilo saliente Y a es 0 ó 1, por ejemplo un cloruro de ácido o un anhídrido de ácido. Las polialquileniminas N-sustituidas pueden ser usadas para rebajar la temperatura de aparición de cera o para reducir la deposición de cera a partir de un hidrocarburo, por ejemplo petróleo bruto que contiene cera.
