Abstract
一个圆形的冷却剂密封垫有底法兰布置在与密封垫轴线垂直的底平面上。一个柔性的弹性密封法兰与底法兰一边整体结合及终止在密封法兰的对面的唇部上。而密封唇部位于密封平面上,后者与底平面平行并与底平面有轴向距离。密封唇部有第一部分,从底平面倾斜地向外延伸,并向内地向密封垫轴线延伸到达一个中向铰链部分。第二部分由铰链部分离开密封垫轴线倾斜地向密封面延伸。密封法兰的外形,柔性及弹性可以使密封唇部相对于底法兰的轴向位移。伴随着铰链部分的轴向和径向的位移。
Description
本发明涉及的是在轧钢机的油膜轴承上采用的密封装置的改进的冷却剂密封垫。
在附图1中给出了美国专利No4,455,856索尔特,埃艾尔(Sulter,et al)中描述过的以前开发的轧机油膜轴承用的密封装置。滚筒10的端面12与中间锥形部分14连接,而中间锥形部份14是与被轴套18包围的直径减小部分16连接。轴套是用键连接或牢固装在辊颈上。并且轴套支撑在轧辊轴承座22里的衬套20中。在轴套和衬套的轴承交界面有连续不停的油提供。通常用标号24代表的密封装置包围中间锥形辊颈部14,这密封装置可防止油由轴承中流出和防止污染物如冷水,轧屑等渗入轴承中。
密封装置包括有圆形柔性带有法兰的辊颈密封垫26,抛油环28,密封端板30和冷却剂密封垫32。辊颈密封垫26和抛油环28装在辊颈上,与辊颈一同旋转。而密封端板30和冷却剂密封垫32则与轧辊轴承座22固定。
冷却剂密封垫32的径向底部法兰34在其内缘,比如在36处与倾斜延伸的密封法兰38是整体地连接在一起的。法兰38的端部有尖的密封唇部39密封地与轧辊端面12接触。螺钉42从底部法兰的孔40穿过,并拧入密封端板30。底部法兰34有整体的圆形肩部44沿轴向向轧辊端面12伸出。由于轧辊向轴承座轴向“浮动”到极限位置,轧辊端面可能靠在肩部上,而肩部44可作为一个缓冲器。
尽管以上所述装置工作状态,一般来说还是令人满意的,但可惜有一些缺点,例如,当轧辊向密封端板30轴向移动时,密封唇部39的原直径D1增大至D2,密封法兰39承受显著的径向膨胀。以上的情况会在密封唇部37产生显著的圆周应力,因而引起密封唇部39在轧辊端面12承受更大的压力。这增大的压力引起发热和摩擦增加,加快磨损。此外,在极限的情况下,如图2所示,增加的圆周应力将引起密封法兰“鼓起”如44处。这情况将更增加密封法兰的摩擦,发热及加快磨损。另外,在螺钉42处,增加的圆周应力可以将底部法兰34,拉离密封端板的端部。因此形成一空隙46冷却剂及混入污染物从这空隙46渗入轴承中。
本发明使密封法兰具有两个相互倾斜偏置的第一和第二部分,用铰链互连在一起,从而排除或最低限度大大减少以上所述的问题。当密封唇部被辊端面推向密封端板时,对密封法兰的外形,柔性及弹性的要求必须使铰链部分可经受轴向移动和径向膨胀。因而引起密封唇部随着作显著的轴向移动,但是连带的径向膨胀非常小。在密封唇部,大部分的径向膨胀和连带增加的圆周应力转移到铰链部分之后,在轧辊端面的唇部压力大大减低。因而减少摩擦,发热和磨损的影响。
最好是密封唇部是圆形状因而更进一步减低摩损。
以下的描述会更加清楚了解本发明的主要目的及其利益。同时请参照有关的图解。
附图1是装有先有技术的冷却剂密封垫的轧机油膜轴承装置的局部剖面图。
附图2是图1中先有技术的冷却剂密封垫的局部放大剖面图,显示了密封垫变形的程度。这是由于轧辊端面移向密封端板引起的。
附图3是本发明改进的冷却剂密封垫的剖面图。
附图4是显示本发明的冷却剂密封垫对轧辊端面引起的变形所起的反应。
本发明的最佳实施方案将参照附加的图3和图4来描述。而轴承装置的元件中和图1和图2相同的则用相同的标号来表示。
冷却剂密封垫50,包括位于底平面Pb内径向伸延的圆形底法兰52。底法兰有一个孔54。当把密封垫固定在密封端板30时,这孔是供安装螺钉42之用。通常用标号56代表柔性的圆形密封法兰。而柔性圆形密封法兰是整体与底法兰的一边58接合。密封法兰有弹性地由底法兰伸延至其对边的圆唇部60处。唇部60的位置是在密封平面Ps上,与底平面Pb有轴向距离。并与底平面Pb平行。因而轧辊端面12与凸缘唇部接触。
密封法兰56包括有两个相互倾斜偏置的第一和第二部分56a和56b,用中间的铰链部分56c连结一起。第一部分56a从底平面Pb倾斜向外并向内向密封轴“a”伸展。而这第一部分56a终止于中间的铰链部分56c,而第二部分56b从铰链部分倾斜向外离开密封轴并向密封平面Ps延伸。
最好是第一部分56a的宽度W1比第二部分56b的宽度W2小。另外第二部分的厚度t最好是由邻近密封唇部60的最大尺寸向着邻近铰链部分56c的最小尺寸减少。这使第二部分的接近唇部部分比第二部分的其余部分及第一部分有更强的刚性。
冷却剂密封垫50是由橡胶或是类似的弹性材料模压出来的。最好是底法兰52的硬度比密封法兰56的硬度大。
如图4所示,密封唇部60被轧辊端12压向底法兰52时引起变形。密封法兰56的外形柔性及弹性的作用,将使铰链部分56c有倾斜的行程“X”。行程“X”有径向分量Xr和轴向分量Xa。铰链56c的径向和轴向一同移位,将令密封唇部60跟随作主要的轴向行程Y。但连带的径向膨胀则很小。因此,通常伴随着图形弹性体的径向膨胀的圆周应力从密封唇部转移至铰链56c中去。其结果是,轧辊端面12和密封唇部的接触压力与图1和2所示先有技术的冷却剂密封垫的压力相比较要小很多。这比较小的接触压力,只产生适度的摩擦和发热。因此有效地加长密封寿命。另一利益是在第二个部分56b的唇部附近有增加厚度t。虽然产生接触摩擦热,但第二部分56b提供一个很大的散热通道。
本发明的另一优点是密封法兰的外形,柔性及弹性可容纳轧辊的轴向浮动而不至破坏底法兰52及底法兰52与密封端板30的密封接合。即是说,底法兰52是有效地与密封法兰56所受的弯曲力矩隔离。
密封唇部60圆形的外形亦有另一优点。这外形将促进唇部和轧辊端面的线接触。任何磨损,将会减低和更加均匀。

Claims (8)
1、在轧机中的一种油膜轴承装置,适于可旋转地支撑辊颈及容纳辊颈有限度的轴向移动,该轴承装置有静止的圆形元件围绕辊颈,而辊颈的位置是与轧辊端面有轴向距离,有一个圆形密封垫是防止污染物如冷却液,轧屑等渗入在轧辊端面及静止元件之间的轴承装置,其特征是该密封件包括一个径向廷伸的底法兰适合安装在静止元件上,一个柔性密封法兰是整体与底法兰的一边结合并由底法兰弹性地延伸出去,上述密封法兰是终止在对边的与底法兰轴向间隔的唇部上,密封唇部与轧辊端面密封地接触,密封法兰在中间的铰链部分连接有2个相互倾斜偏移的第一和第二部分。密封法兰的外形,柔性及弹性要使得由轧辊端面引起的上述唇部相对于底法兰的轴向位移伴随着上述铰链部份的轴向和径向的位移。
2、一种圆形密封垫,其特征是它包括底法兰,它布置在与密封垫轴垂直的底平面上,一个柔性的弹性密封法兰与底法兰的一个边整体地连接并在对面的密封唇部上终止,密封唇部位于一个密封面上,密封面与底平面平行并与底平面有轴向间隔,密封唇部有第一部份由底平面倾斜地向外延伸并向内地向密封垫轴线延伸到一个中间的铰链部分,而第二部份是由上述铰链部份离开密封垫轴线,倾斜地向密封平面延伸。
3、按照权利要求2所述的密封垫,其特征是上述密封法兰的外形,柔性和弹性可以使上述唇部相对于底法兰的轴向位移伴随着铰链部份的轴向和径向位移。
4、按照权利要求1所述的密封垫,其特征是上述第一部份由底法兰向内倾斜,向密封垫轴线延伸到达上述铰链部份,而上述第二部份从铰链部份向外倾斜,离开密封轴线向上述唇部延伸。
5、按照权利要求1或2或3所述的密封垫其特征是上述第一部份的宽度小于第二部份的宽度。
6、按照权利要求1或2或3所述的密封垫,其特征是第二部份的厚度从上述唇部向上述铰链部分减小。
7、按照权利要求1或2或3所述的密封垫,其特征是上述唇部有圆形的外形。
8、按照权利要求1或2或3所述的密封垫。其特征是第二部份在邻近唇部的部份的刚度,比第二部份中邻近上述铰链的部份以及上述第一部份的刚度要大些。
