技术领域
本实用新型涉及一种密封装置,其用于对包装材料提供横向密封件,以形成单独的包装容器。本实用新型还涉及包装机,包装材料和包装容器。
背景技术
Tetra Classic®无菌纸盒(carton)包装容器已在市场上销售多年。四面体形状已经在1950年代开发出来,并且已证明该类型包装容器非常适合于各种食品,例如果汁饮料,牛奶,可涂抹奶酪,冰棍等。一般的技术包装概念基于通过将扁平的包装材料卷材的两个相对纵向端彼此密封形成管,用待包装的内容物填充管,并为管提供上下横向密封件,以密封各个包装容器。四面体形状是通过提供近似相互垂直的上下横向密封件而获得的。在横向密封期间或之后,通过在横向密封件附近进行横向切割将下游包装容器与上游管分开。
可以为四面体包装实现不同的打开方案,例如吸管孔,拉片(pull tab)等。对于冰棍,四面体形状的包装设置有横向穿孔,该横向穿孔在包装容器宽度的整个或部分范围内延伸。通过抓住并拉动邻近穿孔的横向密封翅片(fin),消费者可以去除整个横向密封件,从而获得冷冻内容物。为了正常运行,穿孔不应位于密封件处。这意味着冷冻的产品可能会出现在穿孔区域。
如果是这种情况,则会有容易打开穿孔的通常问题,因为冷冻的产品将阻碍撕开的开始和撕开的继续。为了避免这个问题,已经建议将穿孔的位置移近横向密封件。但是,这样的措施将带来另外的缺点,因为它将减小扁平密封翅片的宽度,从而降低牢固地抓握并施加所需力以打开包装容器的能力。另外,由于穿孔位于横向密封件与主包装容器主体之间的过渡部附近,因此也增加了与穿孔有关的完整性问题的风险。
因此,需要一种改进的上述四面体形状的包装容器,其减小包装内容物在穿孔区域的风险,并且不引入上述缺点。
实用新型内容
本实用新型的一个目的是至少部分地克服现有技术的上述限制的一个或多个。特别地,本实用新型的一个目的是降低包装内容物出现在用于打开包装容器的穿孔区域的风险。
为了解决这些目的,提供了一种用于对四面体包装容器形成横向密封件的密封装置。所述密封装置包括密封元件和布置在距所述密封元件纵向距离处的压印尺(imprintruler),其中,密封元件被构造成向包装容器提供顶部横向密封件,而压印尺被构造成向同一包装容器提供横向压印。
密封装置还可以包括布置在密封元件和压印尺之间的压平部分 (flatteningsection)。
密封元件和压印尺之间的距离可以是在5-25mm的范围内,优选地在10-20mm的范围内。
密封元件可以被构造成向包装容器提供顶部横向密封件,并且其中压印尺被构造成向同一包装容器提供横向压印。
压印尺可被构造成在相关包装容器的穿孔上方提供压印,使得穿孔被布置在压印与顶部横向密封件之间。
根据第二方面,提供了一种包装容器。包装容器包括在顶部横向密封件和底部横向密封件之间延伸的四面体形状,以及用于促进包装容器打开的穿孔,其特征在于,横向压印布置在穿孔上方,使得穿孔被布置在压印与顶部横向密封件之间。
压印与底部横向密封件的端部之间的距离可以是在10-30mm的范围内,例如在15-25mm的范围内。
包装容器可以封装诸如冰棍之类的冷冻食品。
根据第三方面,提供了一种包装材料。包装材料被构造成形成根据第二方面的包装容器。所述包装材料包括顶部横向密封区域,底部横向密封区域,多个折叠线和横向穿孔,其中,穿孔布置在顶部横向密封区域和折叠线之间的一定距离处。

具体实施方式
参考图1,其示出了现有技术的包装容器1。包装容器1被典型地制造成使得包装层压材料的卷材通过卷材的两个纵向边缘在不透液的搭接接头2中彼此结合而被首先形成为管。该管优选地被无菌填充有其预期的内容物,例如风味水(flavored water),然后通过相对于彼此横向交替成90°的重复的横向热密封3、4而分开。因此,形成了单独的四面体包装单元1(它们通过切割机构彼此分开)。
紧靠密封件3中的一个的内侧(inside)提供穿孔5。穿孔与密封件3一样长,或者可能短于密封件3,由此通过在穿孔处的撕开动作,从而从包装容器1的主体7上移除密封的翅片6,来促进包装容器1的打开。可选地,如果未完全撕开密封的翅片6,则不会从主体7上移除密封的翅片6,而是可以使其保持部分地附接到打开的包装容器1上。
如前所述,包装容器1可以被制造用于封装诸如冰棍之类的冷冻食品。如果包装容器1的内容物在穿孔5和密封件3之间的容积空间 (volume)8中冻结,则将很难打开包装容器1。
因此,提供了一种改进的包装容器10,如图2所示。对于图1所示的现有技术的包装容器1,通过形成包装材料的管并用其预期的内容物来填充该管来生产改进的包装容器10。该管具有纵向密封件12,并且经填充的管通过提供相对于彼此横向交替成90°的重复的横向热密封件13、14来进一步密封。
在每个包装容器10上设置有穿孔15,以利于打开封闭的包装容器10以便获取其可能被冷冻的内容物。穿孔15位于密封件13内部,由此穿孔15的撕裂将从包装容器10的主体17移除密封的翅片16。可选地,如果未完全撕开密封的翅片6,则不会从主体7移除,而是使其保持部分地附着在打开的包装容器1上。
从图2中可以看出,包装容器10还具有横向压印19。横向压印 19优选地在包装容器10的整个宽度上延伸,并且与横向密封件13平行。压印19被布置成使得在压印19和横向密封件13之间设置有穿孔15。压印19 优选地通过压缩或折叠包装容器10的包装材料而形成,使得其形成用于包装容器10的内容物的屏障。因此,压印19将防止或至少减少在穿孔15的区域中出现内容物,尤其是在压印19与密封件13之间的容积空间18中出现内容物。
横向密封件13将形成从包装容器10面向外的翅片16。同时,包装容器10朝着横向密封件13、14均匀地逐渐缩小(taper),结果是,包装容器10内的冷冻食品将显示出顶端(apex),当移除翅片16并打开包装容器10时,可以将顶端推过开口端(位于穿孔15的区域)。
横向密封件13优选在纵向方向上到达包装容器10中大约6mm。翅片16在纵向方向上的总宽度,包括横向密封件13、穿孔15和压印19的宽度,优选为大约10-30mm,例如在15mm至25mm之间。
现在参考图3,其示意性地示出了密封装置100。密封装置100被构造成形成用于形成和填充一系列包装容器10的填充机的一部分。由于这种填充机在本领域中是众所周知的,因此在此将不再对其进行描述。但是,为了提供所述改进的包装容器10,需要一种改进的密封装置100,建议用这种密封装置代替灌装机中的现有密封装置。应该注意的是,可以提供两个相同的密封装置100,并在管的纵向方向上连续布置,并且相对彼此旋转90°。
密封装置100被构造成通过压缩管30以使包装材料20的两个相对的层22a-b彼此接触而作用在包装材料20的管30上。
第一密封元件104被布置成通过朝向第一砧座(anvil)102移动并且向包装材料20的层22a-b施加热能来在下游包装容器10a上提供底部横向密封件14。包装材料20的塑性材料将由此熔化,并允许层22a-b彼此粘附,从而形成底部横向密封件14。
第二密封元件108被布置成通过朝向第二砧座106移动并且向包装材料20的层22a-b施加热能来在上游包装容器10b上提供顶部横向密封件 13。包装材料20的塑性材料将由此熔化,并允许层22a-b彼此粘附,从而形成顶部横向密封件13。
第一密封元件104和第二密封元件108可以例如是感应加热元件,或也可以是适合密封包装材料20的任何其他类型的元件。优选地,它们同时被激活,并且在纵向方向上分隔开,以允许切割器110完全穿透包装材料20。在提供所述横向密封件13、14的同时或之后不久致动切割器110(其可以是例如刀),使得下游包装容器10a与上游包装容器10b和管30分离。
尺120设置在第二密封元件108的上游。尺120可朝着管30移动,以便压缩包装材料20(即包装材料20的两个层22a-b)并由此形成横向压印19。尺120可以是钝的,如图3所示,或者可以更尖锐,这取决于所得压印19的期望特性。
压平部分(flattening section)130在纵向上布置在尺120和第二密封元件108之间。压平部分130是平坦表面,其被构造成将包装材料20的层 22a-b朝向彼此推压,使得获得包装材料的相对平坦的部分,其中包含最少量的产品内容物。
将包装材料20进料入密封装置100中,使得预先施加到包装材料 20上的穿孔15位于压平部分130处。
由于穿孔15将位于平坦部分18内的位置,因此需要控制穿孔15 的位置。这是通过调节所述尺120的突出部来进行的,从而调节包装容器的长度。然后,将该平坦部分18推到一起,从而通过密封装置100的形状挤压走大部分产品。压平部分130在标尺120处终止,使得压印19起到包装材料 20的加固件(stiffener)的作用,从而降低了包装容器10的内容物进入包装容器10的平坦部分18的风险。由于平坦部分18的宽度,可以将穿孔15定位在该平坦部分18内并与高应力和裸露位置保持安全距离,从而降低了与穿孔有关的完整性问题的风险。
同样,包装容器的最终形状将提供外观差异和改善的装饰。
包装材料20卷材在图4中示出。包装材料20优选地包括一层或多层纤维材料,例如纸箱或纸材料,其在两侧上覆盖有热塑性材料,例如聚乙烯。可以与包装容器中的食品接触的包装材料20的侧面还可以包括一层阻挡材料,例如一层或多层涂覆有热塑性材料的铝箔。
包装材料20卷材形成一系列区段24,每个区段24被构造成形成单个的包装容器10。
每个区段24具有顶部密封区域25,底部密封区域26和纵向密封区域27。纵向密封区域27被构造成形成包装容器10的纵向密封12,而顶部密封区域25和底部密封区域26被构造成分别形成顶部横向密封件13和底部横向密封件14。
每个区段24还设有折叠线28,其指示四面体包装形状的角的位置,并辅助限定包装容器10的外部装饰和穿孔15。如图4所示,穿孔15被布置成与折叠线28相距一定距离,从而形成包装材料20的一定区域以获得平坦部分18。从先前的描述中,应当认识到,压印19将大致形成在折叠线 28起始的纵向位置处,由图4中的虚线19指示。然而,应该理解的是,压印 19是通过填充机中的密封装置100形成的,使得压印19在将图4所示的包装材料20成型为包装容器之前不会出现在包装材料20上,而是在成型为包装容器之后。

1.一种用于形成四面体包装容器(10)的横向密封件的密封装置(100),其特征在于所述密封装置(100)包括密封元件(108)和布置在距所述密封元件(108)纵向距离处的压印尺(120),其中所述密封元件(108)被构造成向包装容器(10)提供顶部横向密封件(13),并且其中所述压印尺(120)被构造成提供横向压印(19)到同一包装容器(10)上。

13.根据权利要求12所述的包装材料(20),其中,所述顶部横向密封区域(25)和所述折叠线(28)之间的所述距离为10-20mm,并且其中所述穿孔(15)布置于其间。
