本发明涉及转向锁定组件,特别是一种具有一个锁紧螺栓盖的汽车转向锁定装置。
背景技术
用于车辆的转向锁定装置一般包括一个安装于车辆转向柱上的壳体,转向柱里装有转向轴,转向轴旋转改变车轮的方向角以使车辆转向。转向轴由锁紧螺栓可选择地锁定,该锁紧螺栓被可往复运动地(reciprocally)安装在转向锁定装置壳体中形成的一个空腔内。锁紧螺栓与转向轴可啮合以防止转向轴旋转并控制使车辆转向的能力。锁紧螺栓盖用螺母、螺栓、桩杆、销或者其它类似物固定到空腔上方的壳体上。
锁紧螺栓盖和壳体一般是金属的,一旦紧固件随着时间的过去而变松就会导致盖和壳体产生烦人的噪声。另外,由于用螺钉、螺栓、桩杆、销或者其它类似元件将锁紧螺栓盖固定到壳体上要用工具,例如螺丝刀、扳手以及其它类似的工具,因此,组装转向锁定装置会很费时。因此需要一种转向锁定装置,该装置不需要工具即可很容易地将锁紧螺栓盖固定到壳体上并且使噪声最小。
发明内容
因此,本发明提供一个转向锁定装置,无需工具即可相对于壳体将锁紧螺栓盖固定,并使锁紧螺栓盖覆盖壳体中形成的空腔。该装置包括一个壳体,壳体中形成有空腔,锁紧螺栓可以容纳于该空腔中。覆盖空腔的锁紧螺栓盖上有开口,锁紧螺栓延伸通过此开口。卡合带被固定到锁紧螺栓盖和壳体之一上,并与两者中的另一个啮合,以将锁紧螺栓盖相对于壳体固定,卡合带与壳体和锁紧螺栓盖之间为卡合连接以便在装配时不需要工具。在一个实施例中,在卡合带上形成的挤压凸肋使得盖和壳体之间的接触最小由此减少了噪声。
本发明的一个基本目的在于提供一种包括一个盖的装置,它无需工具即可将盖相对于壳体固定。解决的方法是借助于卡合带,卡合带被固定到锁紧螺栓盖和壳体之一上,并与两者中的另一个啮合,以将锁紧螺栓盖相对于壳体固定。

具体实施方式
如图1-16所示,一种转向锁定装置10适于安装在车辆的转向柱上,该转向锁定装置10包括一个与转向轴啮合的锁紧螺栓12。转向轴旋转时改变车轮的角度方向以使车辆转向。锁紧螺栓12可选择地与转向轴啮合以防止转向轴旋转,因此能够使车辆转向。优选地,一个圆柱形锁定装置可以由键驱动,它驱动转向锁定装置10以选择地使锁紧螺栓12与转向轴啮合。在此实施例中,当锁紧螺栓12与转向轴分开时,构成转向锁定装置10一部分的点火开关14被驱动以启动车辆。

挤压凸肋132、134、136从卡合带70的内和外表面108、110上伸出,相对于盖60将卡合带70间隔分开,使得盖60和壳体20之间产生噪声的接触最小。在此披露的实施例中,成对的挤压凸肋132、136从卡合带的侧部100和端部102中的每一个向内延伸。卡合带挤压凸肋134从卡合带端部102的内表面108向内延伸,与从盖上伸入周向凹槽72中的分割块90啮合。防噪声的挤压凸肋136从卡合带侧部100的内表面108向内延伸,并与盖侧部66啮合。此外,防噪声的挤压凸肋132从卡合带侧部100的外表面110向外延伸,并与壳体空腔侧壁46啮合。尽管图示的挤压凸肋是优选的,只要不偏离本发明的精神范围,可以采用任意数量的挤压凸肋的数目或不采用挤压凸肋。

锁紧螺栓盖/卡合带装配组件然后与壳体20组装,首先相对于壳体空腔48定位锁紧螺栓盖/卡合带装配组件,这样盖底板64面对壳体空腔48并被容纳于壳体空腔48中,且使盖导向突起84与在壳体20上形成的槽86对齐,每一个卡合突起120在空腔侧壁46形成的开口124之中的一个上方间隔开。锁紧螺栓盖/卡合带装配组件然后被压入到空腔48中,这样,每一个卡合突起120的凸轮表面130就与空腔侧壁46之一啮合,使卡合带70变形,并迫使卡合带70的部分进入到形成在槽72中的凹处92中。有利的,迫使得卡合带70的部分进入到凹处92中可以使卡合突起120至少部分回缩入凹槽72。随着卡合突起120至少部分回缩到凹槽72中,锁紧螺栓盖/卡合带装配组件无需工具就很容易压入空腔48中。
一旦卡合突起120与在空腔侧壁46中的开口124对齐,卡合带70就弹回到未变形位置,强制卡合突起120进入开口124(如图16所示),以相对于壳体20在空腔48中固定卡合带70和盖60。有利的,盖60和壳体20彼此相对固定,无需附加的机械固定件,例如螺钉、螺栓等类似物。总之,盖60和壳体20不用工具就可以快速卡接,快速简单地将各零件组装起来。尽管不需要附加的紧固件,在不偏离本发明的范围内,也可以使用一些紧固件。
尽管本发明的一个优选实施例是转向锁定装置,任何采用本发明的装置是一个壳体上带有开口,开口被一个盖覆盖着。此外,尽管披露了卡合带容纳于盖中所形成的周向凹槽中,且卡合带的卡合突起与壳体啮合,但是,在不偏离本发明的范围内,卡合带也可以被固定于壳体上,例如,被容纳在形成于空腔侧壁上的凹槽中,卡合带的卡合突起可以与盖啮合以相对于壳体固定盖。
本发明的另一个实施例中,空腔有一个封闭的顶,和一个敞开的底部。具有锁紧螺栓开口的顶壁封住空腔的顶部,锁紧螺栓通过锁紧螺栓开口延伸,以与转向轴啮合。一个盖,例如上面所述的盖60,与卡合带一起封闭空腔的底部,并与锁紧螺栓弹簧啮合,将锁紧螺栓朝顶壁和转向轴偏压。当然,在不偏离本发明的范围内,如果空腔是两端开口的,一个锁紧螺栓盖,如上述所公开的那种,也可以用于盖住空腔顶部和底部。
上面图示和描述的都是本发明的目前认为优选的实施例,在不偏离所附权利要求所限定的本发明的范围内,本领域的技术人员显然可以作出各种改变和修改。因此,各种替代和实施方式都将落入下述权利要求的范围之内,这些权利要求详细地指出并分别要求保护作为本发明的主体。

Claims (11)

1.一种转向锁定装置包括:
一个壳体,该壳体中形成有空腔;
容纳于所述空腔中的一个锁紧螺栓;
覆盖所述空腔的一个锁紧螺栓盖;和
一个卡合带,该卡合带固定于所述的锁紧螺栓盖和所述壳体之一,并与所述的锁紧螺栓盖和所述壳体之中的另一个啮合,以便相对于所述外壳固定所述锁紧螺栓盖,所述卡合带与所述壳体和所述锁紧螺栓盖之间为卡合连接以便在装配时不需要工具。
2.如权利要求1所述的转向锁定装置,其特征在于,所述锁紧螺栓盖有一个开口,锁紧螺栓延伸通过此开口。
3.如权利要求1所述的转向锁定装置,其特征在于,所述空腔包括底壁和敞开的顶部,其中所述锁紧螺栓盖盖住所述敞开的顶部。
4.如权利要求1所述的转向锁定装置,其特征在于,所述的盖包括由侧部连接的顶部和底部,形成在至少一个所述侧部上的凹槽容纳所述卡合带,以相对于所述盖固定所述卡合带。
5.如权利要求1所述的转向锁定装置,其特征在于,所述卡合带包括至少一个卡合突起,该卡合突起与所述锁紧螺栓盖和所述壳体之中的所述另一个啮合,以相对于所述壳体固定所述锁紧螺栓盖。
6.如权利要求5所述的转向锁定装置,其特征在于,所述卡合突起是向外延伸的突起,具有有一个凸轮表面,该突起与所述锁紧螺栓盖和所述壳体之中的所述另一个啮合,以相对于所述壳体固定所述的锁紧螺栓盖。
7.如权利要求5所述的转向锁定装置,其特征在于,所述空腔包括一个内壁,在所述内壁上形成至少一个开口,该开口容纳所述至少一个卡合突起,以相对于所述壳体固定所述盖。
8.如权利要求1所述的转向锁定装置,其特征在于,所述卡合带包括挤压突起,以将由于所述壳体和所述盖之间的接触所产生的噪音减到最小。
9.如权利要求1所述的转向锁定装置,其特征在于,所述壳体和所述盖由金属制成,所述卡合带由塑料制成。
10.如权利要求1所述的转向锁定装置,其特征在于,所述盖包括周向凹槽,并且听述卡合带容纳在周向凹槽中,以便相对于所述盖固定所述卡合带。
11.如权利要求10所述的转向锁定装置,其特征在于,包括一个分割块,该分割块从所述盖延伸进入所述凹槽,并从所述凹槽间隔开所述卡合带的至少一部分,以在所述凹槽上形成一个凹处,以便在组装所述卡合带与所述盖的时候容纳所述卡合带的至少一部分。
