Abstract

技术领域
本发明涉及一种通过注塑或模压注塑的方法生产复合构件(compositestructural component)的方法。
背景技术
光学构件,例如机动车辆构造中的窗玻璃,主要由玻璃制成,因为玻璃具有非常好的表面性质,例如高抗划痕性。这些构件涉及高材料费用并具有低的一体化潜力。这意味着需要大量的工作将这些构件与其它模塑物结合。
然而,已知由透明热塑性塑料生产光学结构元件。这些材料不仅更轻、更方便,而且可以更容易地和其它模塑物(如金属或塑料部件)结合。然而,透明热塑性塑料表面的抗划痕性必须通过一层保护层(如清漆(lacquer))来提高。
根据现有技术,这种由透明热塑性光学模塑物制成的复合构件是在几个分开的步骤和几个分开的设备中通过繁重的工艺生产的。例如,首先用注塑生产透明塑料片。然后该片用合适的漆涂覆以提高其表面的抗划痕性。第三步,将涂覆后的片送去密封,例如使用另一个注塑模具,或者将该片与另一个模塑物(如导轨)结合。
发明内容
本发明的目的是提供一种生产至少由两面涂覆了膜的塑料模塑物和另一种模塑物组成的复合构件的方法。该方法应尽可能简单,并以较少数量的步骤实行。
依据本发明,提供了一种生产复合构件的方法,包括:
(a)将第一塑料薄膜和第二塑料薄膜引入(或放在)注塑模具的第一空腔内,将所述第一塑料薄膜和所述第二塑料薄膜放在所述第一空腔内以便在所述第一塑料薄膜和所述第二塑料薄膜之间形成空隙;
(b)将第一热塑性材料(优选以熔融状态)注塑入所述空隙,从而形成第一模塑物;
(c)将步骤(b)形成的所述第一模塑物从所述第一模具空腔中释放,并且
将所述第一模塑物与至少一种第二模塑物引入同一个或另一个注塑模具的第二空腔内;并且
(d)将第二热塑性材料(优选以熔融状态)注塑入所述第二空腔,从而结合所述第一模塑物和所述第二模塑物(例如,所述第一模塑物和所述第二模塑物通过注塑的第二热塑性材料相互被牢固地附着在一起,并同第二热塑性材料一起形成一种多组件的模制品)。
在具有至少两个空腔的注塑模具中实施根据本发明的方法。在本发明的框架内,词语“注塑”和“注塑模具”用简化的方式使用,但它们包括模压注塑和模压注塑模具。
在优选的实施方式中第一模塑物仅是在它的边缘区域与步骤(d)中第二空腔内的第二热塑性材料反向模塑,以致透明窗区域保持在第一模塑物中。
第一和第二薄膜优选是透明的,并优选由聚碳酸酯(PC)、聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯(PMMA)或聚碳酸酯/聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯共混物制得。这两个薄膜可以用相同的或不同的塑料制成。薄膜的厚度优选0.1-1mm。
在本方法的一个优选实施方式中,在将第一和第二薄膜根据步骤(a)引入注塑模具前,将它们成型、切割、涂覆和/或印刷。优选地,第一和第二薄膜用漆或PMMA层涂覆。硬膜漆,例如硅氧烷漆或可紫外线固化的漆,是特别合适的。薄膜涂覆方法是可从现有技术得知的。第一和第二薄膜用PMMA层的涂覆可以例如通过共挤出实现。漆可以例如通过喷涂施加。根据涂覆的类型,在涂覆后成型薄膜也许不再是可能的,因此成型必须在涂覆前进行。成型例如是通过深拉伸来实现的。先于涂覆和深拉伸,薄膜可额外地用丝网印刷油墨来印刷。
将第一和第二薄膜根据步骤(a)分别引入注塑模具的第一空腔内。以这种方式将它们分别引入以便在空腔中保持分离。这两个薄膜可以通过现有技术已知的方式固定在空腔内,例如机械地、静电地或真空的方式。第一薄膜和/或第二薄膜可以分别独立的放置在模具的第一空腔内以邻接模具(例如,第一薄膜邻接第一半模内表面的至少部分,和第二薄膜邻接第二半模内表面的至少部分)的内表面(例如,分开的内表面)。可选择地,第一薄膜和/或第二薄膜可分别独立的放置在模具的第一空腔内以便不邻接模具的内表面。进而可选择地,在本发明方法中,当在模具的第一空腔内放置第一薄膜和第二薄膜时可以使用这种与模具内表面邻接和非邻接关系的结合。
第一和第二薄膜可以例如基本上相互平行的排列。第一和第二薄膜之间的间隙造成(或形成)模具第一空腔内的空隙,在步骤(b)中将第一热塑性材料注入到其中。这导致第一模塑物的形成,随后在步骤(c)释放它。
原则上,第一模塑物可以具有任何想要的形状。例如,第一模塑物可以具有片状、板状或罐状的形状,例如,对于片状或板状,平的、弓形的或弯的都是可能的。第一模塑物可以在整个区域内具有相同的厚度,或者在不同区域具有不同的厚度。为生产片状模塑物,模塑片材的厚度可以是例如3-6mm。
第一热塑性材料优选是透明塑料,且特别优选是聚碳酸酯(PC)、聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯(PMMA)、透明聚酰胺(PA)和/或环烯共聚物(COC)。然而,任何其它适于注塑或模压注塑的热塑性材料都可以用于成型非透明第一模塑物。
释放后,将第一模塑物接着引入注塑模具的第二空腔内(步骤(c))。第一模塑物可以通过公知的方法传递,例如用于多色注塑模塑法中的方法。另一方面,可以在本方法中使用常规的传递方法,包括通过转盘、翻转板、滑动腔或刻度盘来传递,或与第一模塑物保持在中心上的方法可比较的方法。另一方面,本发明方法中传递模塑物的方法进一步包括本领域内公知的用于将模塑物由一个空腔移出(例如借助于搬运系统)并放入另一个空腔内的方法
另外,将至少一种第二模塑物引入第二空腔内。第二模塑物可以是任何希望的塑料和/或金属模塑物。如果第一模塑物是透明片材,例如当用于机动车辆构造中时,第二模塑物可以是由钢、铝、聚酰胺,特别是填充的聚酰胺,或聚碳酸酯制成的导轨。
第一和第二模塑物通过将第二热塑性材料注入注塑模具的第二空腔内而结合(例如牢固地相互附着)。第二热塑性材料可以例如从热塑性聚氨酯(TPU)、热塑性聚乙烯(TPE)、聚碳酸酯(PC)、PC共混物和/或聚氯乙烯(PVC)或上述提到的透明塑料的一种或这些塑料的混合物中选择。
本发明还涉及根据本发明方法得到的塑料窗以及它们在交通工具(例如机动车辆、轮船或飞机)生产中的应用,或在家用装置中的应用。

具体实施方式
以下实施例描述了部分透明构件的生产,通过金属插入来加强部分透明构件且通过外部应用薄膜来保护部分透明构件以防止表面划痕。金属插入可以不仅用作加强的目的,而且作为安装部件的螺纹附件的局部增强。
在第一工作步骤中,将基于PC(聚碳酸酯)的薄膜与PMMA(聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯)层共挤出。为了在三维形状的模具空腔内插入薄膜,薄膜也可以用深拉伸的方法预先成型并切割,或通过注塑法直接带入相应形状内。
将第一(1)和第二(2)共挤出薄膜引入注塑模具的打开的半模(3)中,如图1所示。在这一示例中,薄膜是平的并且没有预成型。通过模具中的小孔(4)产生真空。真空将薄膜压入模具的空腔内并将它们固定在位置上。
注塑模具通过对两个半模(3)彼此施压而闭合(图2)。空隙(5)在薄膜之间产生,内部通过注塑PC(聚碳酸酯)热塑性材料来填充。这样生产的板的厚度是5mm。
模具需要用于在下一个工作步骤中要插入的金属支架的新空腔。将这个新空腔放置在所谓的转盘上,所述转盘绕垂直轴旋转180°以便移走旧空腔并放置新空腔(6)在位置上(图3)。预先注塑的板(7)保持在半模(3)的喷嘴侧。
图4中搬运系统此刻在新空腔(6)内放置了金属支架(8)。该空腔必须以这种方式成型以便高度为2.5mm的间隙(9)出现在空腔(6)的壁与金属插入物之间。
两个半模(3)和(6)相互对立压紧(图5)。将第二热塑性部件注塑入间隙9,其中使用的材料是PC/PET共混物。第二热塑性部件(10)可在图6中看到。这个部件(10)完全包裹了金属插入物(8)并与下面的注塑模塑板(7)形成了非常牢固的结合。
Claims (9)
1.一种生产复合构件的方法,包括:
(a)将第一塑料薄膜和第二塑料薄膜引入注塑模具的第一空腔内,将所述第一塑料薄膜和所述第二塑料薄膜放在所述第一空腔内以便在所述第一塑料薄膜和所述第二塑料薄膜之间形成空隙;
(b)将第一热塑性材料注入所述空隙,从而形成第一模塑物;
(c)将步骤(b)中形成的所述第一模塑物释放,并且将所述第一模塑物与至少一种第二模塑物引入同一个或另一个注塑模具的第二空腔内;和
(d)将第二热塑性材料注入所述第二空腔,从而结合所述第一模塑物和所述第二模塑物。
2.如权利要求1的方法,进一步包括,在步骤(a)之前,使至少一种所述第一薄膜和所述第二薄膜进行选自成型、切割、涂覆、印刷及它们的结合的加工。
