Abstract
本发明涉及用于口腔净化,口气清新以及具有抗微生物特性,不含支链淀粉的食用薄膜组合物,所述薄膜组合物包含成膜剂和厚朴提取物。在治疗过程中,通过食用薄膜将有效量厚朴提取物递送到口腔中,可以方便地进行口腔净化并具有口气清新的特性。本发明还涉及制造不含支链淀粉的食用薄膜组合物的方法,包括形成成膜剂和厚朴提取物的水溶液并干燥水溶液形成干燥的食用薄膜。

技术领域
本发明涉及食用薄膜,并且尤其是涉及不含支链淀粉的食用薄膜组合物,所述薄膜组合物包含厚朴提取物,本发明还涉及制造薄膜组合物的方法。
背景技术
目前对清新口气并杀灭口腔内细菌的产品有大量需求。具有口气清新并杀菌特性的口腔产品是对口腔进行口腔净化以及口气清新的方便递送手段。
当然,口气清新是日常生活的重要部分。为了促进适当的口腔卫生,在一天中应该重复进行口腔净化以及口轻清新。
然而,根据期望的口气清新特性以及口气清新必须发生的条件,有时口腔净化以及口气清新可能很难或者不方便进行。使用多种装置以及组合物刷洗,用牙线清洁,净化舌以及漱口是非常适合于家居使用的日常口腔护理方法。但是,这样的装置以及组合物在可能缺乏浴室设备,无法使用浴室设备或者不卫生的浴室设备的远离家庭的条件下就不便使用了。
众所周知,为了提供包括口气清新以及杀菌特性的对口腔的益处,将活化剂加入到口腔产品中。这种系统的优点在于提供了快速的疗效并且方便递送。
发明概述
本发明涉及口腔产品的组合物以及生产口腔产品的方法。具体地,本发明涉及具有杀菌并且口气清新特性的口腔产品。更具体地,本发明涉及含有有效量厚朴提取物的牙膏,口香糖,糖果,糖锭,口腔喷雾剂或者食用薄膜,借此通过消耗牙粉,口香糖,糖果,糖锭,口腔喷雾剂或者食用薄膜产品本发明的组合物可有效灭活或者杀灭口腔细菌并且清新口气。
在本发明的实施方案中,口腔产品是口香糖或者其任一变体,包括但不限于泡泡胶,丸粒,胶球或者胶条。口香糖可以具有涂层或者不具有涂层并且可以是各种口味,形状和大小。
在本发明的实施方案中,口腔产品是包括但不限于硬糖果,咀嚼糖果,夹心糖以及挤压片剂的糖果组合物。
在本发明另一实施方案中,口腔产品是不含支链淀粉的食用薄膜组合物,其包括有效量成膜剂,以及有效量抗微生物剂,其中抗微生物剂包括厚朴提取物。
在本发明另一实施方案中,口腔净化的方法包括将不含支链淀粉的食用薄膜施用于口腔,其中食用薄膜包括有效量成膜剂,以及有效量抗微生物剂,其中抗微生物剂包括厚朴提取物。
在本发明另一实施方案中,制造不含支链淀粉的食用薄膜的方法包括形成含有麦芽糖糊精,水胶体以及填料的水溶液,向水溶液中添加有效量抗微生物剂,其中抗微生物剂含有厚朴提取物,以及干燥水溶液形成干燥食用薄膜。
本发明进一步的实施方案包括通过提供食用薄膜组合物降低口腔内细菌数目或者活性的治疗方法,所述薄膜组合物包括足以杀灭或者使口腔细菌失活量的厚朴提取物并且使需要治疗的人消耗食用薄膜组合物,借此通过治疗使人口腔内的细菌减少或者失活。
在另一实施方案中,口腔产品是牙膏。
发明详述
已知使用口香糖,糖果和薄膜作为介质递送组分到口腔,以提供诸如口气清新以及杀菌特性的有利于口腔的益处。这种系统具有给消费者提供一整天保持口腔健康和口气清新的方便并廉价的方法。
本发明包括将厚朴提取物作为具有口气清新和口腔杀菌益处的有效成分。厚朴提取物已知具有杀细菌和抗真菌特性。厚朴酚和和朴酚是厚朴提取物中具有抗微生物活性的两种组分。
用与口腔恶臭相关的3种龈下菌斑细菌进行体外试验。MIC(最低抑菌浓度)研究方案如下所述。双氯苯双胍己烷(Chlorhexidine)用作阳性对照并且无菌水用作阴性对照。薄荷醇和吐温80用作厚朴提取物的溶剂。9-6孔微孔板用于这项研究。每一微孔包含5×105集落形成单位/ml细菌,系列稀释剂和细菌生长培养基。所有的细菌培养物在37℃培养并静置。48小时后,在660nm用分光光度计测定细菌生长。每一试验细菌的MIC定义为试验极限浊度小于660nm<处吸光度的化合物的最小浓度。
如上所述利用用于MIC研究的96孔微孔板系列稀释确定MBC(最小杀菌浓度)。对微孔中没有明显生长的培养物进行连续稀释并在血琼脂板上一式三份用10微升的培养物进行涂板。在37℃培养平皿48小时后记录活菌落数。对每种试验细菌而言,确定最初的菌种培养液中的CFU数/ml。MBC定义为杀灭最初的菌种培养液中至少99.9%细胞的实验化合物的最低浓度。
所进行的获得厚朴提取物最低抑菌浓度(MIC)和最小杀菌浓度(MBC)的研究结果如下。90%的厚朴提取物抗S.mutans的MIC为15.62μg/ml。90%厚朴提取物抗P.gingivalis的MIC为3.91μg/ml,并且65%厚朴提取物的MIC为7.82μg/ml。90%厚朴提取物抗F.nucleatum的MIC为3.91μg/ml,MBC为7.82μg/ml。抗相同的生物体,65%厚朴提取物的MIC和MBC为7.82μg/ml。双氯苯双胍己烷(Chlorhexidine)作为阳性对照并对所有3种细菌而言产生1.25μg/ml的MIC和MBC。研究中水与10%甲醇和3.8%吐温80的溶剂对任一的3种细菌没有显著的生长抑制效果。
同样已知厚朴提取物可以有效抗伴放线放线杆菌(Actinobacillusactinomyecetemcomitans),牙龈卟啉单胞菌(Porphyromonas gingivalis),中间普雷沃菌(Prevotella intennedia),滕黄微球菌(Micrococcus luteus),和枯草芽胞杆菌,Prevotella gingivalis,殊异韦荣菌(Veillonelladispar),牙龈二氧化碳嗜纤维菌(Capnocytophaga gingivalis),牙周病微生物和齿龈成纤维细胞。
本发明使用的厚朴提取物获得自中国广州水荫路172号的广州美晨医药有限公司。获得的厚朴提取物为蜡状糊状物。用调味剂溶解厚朴提取物并且可在制造口腔产品前加热溶解。
在实施方案中,本发明包括降低口腔内细菌数目或者活性的治疗方法,所述方法包括如下步骤:提供含有足以杀灭或者使口腔细菌失活量的厚朴提取物的口腔组合物并且使需要治疗的人消耗口腔组合物,借此通过治疗使人口腔内的细菌减少或者失活。
在实施方案中,口腔组合物包括其它口气清新或者口腔预防保健成分。
在实施方案中,其它口气清新或者口腔预防保健成分包含抗微生物成分。
在实施方案中,其它口气清新或者口腔预防保健成分包含食用锌或者铜盐。
在实施方案中,其它口气清新或者口腔预防保健成分包含冷却剂。
在实施方案中,其它口气清新或者口腔预防保健成分包含焦磷酸盐或者多磷酸盐。
在实施方案中,口腔组合物被制备成至少递送0.005%浓度的厚朴提取物到口腔的制剂。
在实施方案中,口腔组合物被制备成至少递送0.01%浓度的厚朴提取物到口腔的制剂。
在实施方案中,口腔组合物被制备成至少递送0.1%浓度的厚朴提取物到口腔的制剂。
由于厚朴提取物是疏水化合物,可以有若干方法被用来加强厚朴提取从口腔组合物中的释放。在口香糖产品中,胶基是亲水性的,将促进厚朴提取物的释放。在口腔组合物中,厚朴提取物可制备成胶囊,喷雾干燥剂,配制到涂层中及其组合。
在本发明的实施方案中,有效量抗微生物特性的厚朴提取物存在于口香糖制剂中。在本发明的实施方案中,厚朴提取物的存在量高达口香糖产品的5重量%。在本发明的实施方案中,厚朴提取物的存在量是口香糖产品的1重量%。在另一实施方案中,厚朴提取物的存在量为口香糖产品的0.01重量%。考虑到上述体外试验中描述的厚朴提取物的效力,抵达0.005重量%水平的口香糖产品就具有有效的杀菌特性。
通常,口香糖组合物一般包括水溶性主体部分,水溶性口香糖胶基部分以及典型地水溶性调味剂。在咀嚼期间水溶性部分分散一部分调味剂。在整个咀嚼过程中胶基部分保持在口腔中。
不溶性胶基通常包括弹性体,树脂,脂肪和油,软化剂以及无机填料。胶基可能包括或者不包括蜡。不溶性胶基的含量为口香糖的约5wt%到约95wt%,更普通地,胶基的含量为胶的10wt%到约50wt%,并且在一些优选实施方案中胶基的含量为口香糖的大约25wt%到约35wt%。
在特定实施方案中,本发明的口香糖胶基含有约20wt%到约60wt%的合成弹性体,直至约30wt%的天然弹性体,约5wt%到约55wt%的弹性体增塑剂,约4wt%到约35wt%的填料,约5wt%到约35wt%的软化剂,以及任选的微量(约1wt%或者更少的重量百分比)的诸如着色剂,抗氧化剂等的其它成分。
合成弹性体可以包括但不限于GPC重量平均分子量约10,000到约95,000的聚异丁烯,异丁烯-甲基丁二烯共聚物(丁基弹性体),苯乙烯-丁二烯的比例为约1∶3到约3∶1的苯乙烯共聚物,GPC重量平均分子量约2,000到约90,000的聚乙酸乙烯酯,聚异戊二烯,聚乙烯,乙烯月桂酸酯含量为共聚物的约5wt%到约50wt%的乙酸乙烯酯乙烯月桂酸酯共聚物,及其组合。
聚异丁烯的优选范围为50,000到80,000GPC重量平均分子量,对于styreneare 1∶1到1∶3结合苯乙烯的聚乙酸乙烯酯的GBC重量平均分子量为10,000到65,000,较高分子量的聚乙酸乙烯酯通常用于泡泡糖胶基中,对于醋酸乙烯月桂酸酯而言,乙稀月桂酸酯的含量为10。
天然弹性体可以包括诸如烟熏或者液态胶乳以及银菊胶的天然橡胶以及诸如节路顿胶(jelutong),lechi caspi,perillo,sorva,massa randubabalata,massaranduba chocolate,nispero,rosindinha,糖胶树胶(chicle),古塔胶(gutta hang kang)的天然胶及其组合。如下所述,根据胶基是粘合剂还是传统的口香糖,泡泡糖或者普通胶,改变优选的合成弹性体以及天然弹性体的浓度。优选的天然弹性体包括节路顿胶(ielutong),chicle,sorva以及massaranduba balata。
弹性体增塑剂可以包括但不限于天然松香酯诸如甘油酯或者部分氢化的松香,多聚松香甘油酯,部分二聚松香甘油酯,松香的甘油酯,部分氢化松香的季戊四醇酯,松香的甲酯以及部分氢化的甲酯,松香的季戊四醇酯;诸如αβ来源的萜烯树脂合成物质和/或上述任一的合适组合。优选的弹性体增塑剂也将根据具体应用以及所使用的弹性体的类型的不同而改变。
填料/组织形成剂可以包括碳酸镁以及碳酸钙,重质碳酸钙,诸如硅酸镁和硅酸铝的硅酸盐,粘土,矾土,滑石,氧化钛,单,二以及三磷酸盐,诸如木头的纤维素聚合物及其组合。
软化剂/乳化剂可以包括牛脂,氢化牛脂,氢化和部分氢化的植物油,可可脂,甘油单硬脂酰酯,甘油三乙酸酯,卵磷脂,单甘油酯和甘油三酯,乙酰化单甘油酯,己二酸(例如,硬脂酸,棕榈酸,油酸和亚油酸)及其组合。
着色剂和增白剂可以包括FD&C染料和色淀,水果和蔬菜提取物,二氧化钛及其组合。
胶基可能包括或者不包括蜡。蜡胶基的实例公开在美国专利5,286,500中,其公开在此处引入作为参考。
除了水不溶性胶基部分,通常口香糖组合物包括水溶性主体部分和一种或者多种调味剂。水溶性部分可以包括散装甜味剂,高甜度甜味剂,调味剂,软化剂,乳化剂,颜料,酸化剂,填料,抗氧化剂及其他提供期望特征的组分。
向口香糖中添加软化剂是为了使胶的可咀嚼性以及口感最佳化。又名增塑剂和塑化剂的软化剂通常的含量为口香糖的约0.5wt%到约15wt%之间。软化剂可以包括甘油,卵磷脂及其组合。诸如那些含有山梨糖醇,氢化淀粉水解产物,玉米糖浆及其组合的水溶性甜味剂溶液也可用作口香糖中的软化剂和粘合剂。
散装甜味剂包括糖和无糖组分。散装甜味剂通常的含量为口香糖的5wt%到约95wt%,更典型地,约20wt%到约80wt%,更普遍地为胶的约30wt%到约60wt%。糖甜味剂通常包括口香糖领域普遍公知的糖组分,包括但不限于蔗糖,葡萄糖,麦芽糖,糊精,干燥转化糖,果糖,左旋糖,半乳糖,淀粉糖浆干粉,等,可以单独或者组合使用。无糖甜味剂包括但不限于诸如山梨糖醇,甘露糖醇,木糖醇,氢化淀粉水解物,麦芽糖醇等的糖醇,可以单独或者组合使用。
还可以使用高甜度人工甜味剂,可以单独使用或者与上述甜味剂组合使用。优选的甜味剂包括但不限于:蔗糖素,天冬甜素,诸如纽甜的NAPM衍生物,安赛蜜(acesulfame)的盐,阿力甜,糖精及其盐,环己氨磺酸及其盐,甘草甜素,二氢查耳酮,祝马丁,莫尼林等等,可单独也可相互组合。为了提供持续更长久甜味和风味感觉,理想地可将至少一部分人造甜味剂制成胶囊,或控制其释放。可采用诸如湿法制粒,上蜡制粒,喷雾干燥,喷雾骤冷,流体床涂覆法,凝聚法以及纤维拉伸法,以达到理想的释放特性。
可将糖和/或非糖甜味剂结合用于口香糖中。另外,软化剂也可赋予诸如水溶性糖或醇溶性糖溶液另外的甜度。
如果希望是低卡路里胶,则可使用低卡路里填充剂。低卡路里填充剂的实例包括:聚葡萄糖;Raftilose,Raftilin;低聚果糖(NutraFlora);帕拉金糖低聚糖;瓜尔胶水解产物(Sun Fiber);或可摄入糊精(Fibersol)。然而,也可采用其他的低卡路里填充剂。
如果需要,可采用各种调味剂。调味剂的用量可以是胶的约0.1-15重量%,优选为约0.2-5wt%。调味剂可包含精油,合成调味剂或其混合物,包括但不限于衍自植物和水果的油,例如柑橘油,水果香精,胡椒薄荷油,绿薄荷油,其他薄荷油,丁香油,冬青油,百里酚等等。也可使用人造调味剂和组分。可以任何感觉上可接受的方式将天然和人造调味剂相组合。调味品可以包括增强产品香味和口气清新感觉的冷却剂。冷却剂包括薄荷醇,乙基薄荷烷羧酰胺,N,2,3-三甲基-2-异丙基-丁酰胺,薄荷基戊二酸酯FEMA 4006,薄荷基琥珀酸酯,薄荷醇PG碳酸酯,薄荷醇EG碳酸酯,薄荷基乳酸酯,薄荷酮甘油基缩醇,薄荷醇甘油基乙醚,正特丁基-对-薄荷烷-3-羧酰胺,薄荷烷-3-羧酸甘油酯,甲基-2-异丙基-二环(2.2.1),庚烷-2-羧酰胺,薄荷醇甲醚及其组合。
此外,也可以向本发明的活性成分中加入其它活性成分或者药剂用于其它目的。如果药剂或者活性成分是口香糖中的水溶性物质,优选包括胶基/乳化剂系统,其产生唾液(更加亲水性的平衡)中药剂所需的浓度。如果药剂或者活性成分是水不溶性物质,口香糖优选包括胶基/乳化剂系统,其产生唾液(更加亲脂性的平衡)中药剂所需的浓度。
在制造包括活化剂或者成分的口香糖的过程中,优选在混合早期加入活化剂或者药剂。使用的活性成分量越少就越需要预搅拌特定的成分使其能够均匀分布于整批胶中。不管是否采用预搅拌,在混合的最初5分钟内应该加入活化剂或者药剂。为了更快速的释放,可以在操作过程末期加入活化剂。
任选地,本发明的口香糖可以包含其它口气清新,杀菌剂或者口腔预防保健成分。食用金属盐类选自葡萄糖酸的锌和铜盐,乳酸的锌和铜盐,乙酸的锌和铜盐,柠檬酸的锌和铜盐及其组合。
诸如薄荷油,水杨酸甲酯,麝香草酚,桉树醇,肉桂醛,多磷酸盐,焦磷酸盐及其组合的抗微生物精油和调味剂组分。
诸如氟化盐,磷酸盐,蛋白水解酶,脂类,抗微生物剂,钙,电解质,蛋白添加剂,牙齿研磨剂及其组合的口腔保健组分。
通常,通过连续添加各种口香糖成分到本领域已知的市售混合器中制造口香糖。彻底混合成分后,从混合器排出胶团并成型为需要的形状,诸如辊制成薄片并切割成条状物,延伸成大块或者铸型成丸粒,然后涂层或者进行锅抛。
通常,通过首先熔化胶基并将其添加到转动混合器整进行成分的混合。胶基也可能本身熔化在混合器中。也可以在此时加入颜料或者乳化剂。诸如甘油的软化剂连同糖浆以及一部分填充剂也可以在此时加入。其它部分的填充剂也可以加入混合器中。典型地调味剂连同最后部分的填充剂一起加入。其它任选成分以本领域技术人员熟知的方式加入配料中。
全部混合步骤一般需要5到15分钟,但有时可能需要更长的搅拌时间。本领域技术人员应该认识到可以对上述过程进行多种改变。
通常利用分离混合器,不同的混合技术以及常常在不同的工厂制造口香糖胶基和口香糖产品。一个原因是制造胶基和从胶基及其他成分诸如甜味剂以及调味剂制造口香糖的最佳条件如此不同以至于不可能将两个操作整合到一起。一方面口香糖胶基的制造包括诸如弹性体,填料,弹性体增塑剂,胶基软化剂/乳化剂以及间或蜡的难混合成分的分散混合并且一般需要较长的搅拌时间。另一方面口香糖产品的制造包括利用分散(通常较低剪切力)混合将胶基与更多精细成分诸如产品软化剂,散装甜味剂,高甜度甜味剂和调味剂组合较短时间。
下列是厚朴提取物口香糖中制剂的实施例。实施例并非排除制剂中的其它改变并且本发明并不限于这些制剂。

在本发明的实施方案中,具有杀菌剂特性的有效量厚朴提取物存在于食用薄膜制剂中。在本发明的实施方案中,厚朴提取物的存在量高达食用的薄膜制剂的10重量%。在本发明的实施方案中,厚朴提取物的存在量是食用薄膜产品的约8重量%。在另一实施方案中,厚朴提取物的存在量为食用薄膜产品的约5重量%。考虑到上述体外试验中描述的厚朴提取物的效力,约1重量%的食用薄膜产品就具有有效的杀菌特性。
本发明提供了用于口腔粘膜黏附的食用薄膜制剂及其应用和制造方法。尤其是,本发明的食用薄膜除支链淀粉外还包含至少3种成膜剂。
本发明的申请人特别发现至少3种成膜剂,诸如麦芽糖糊精,填料(例如微晶纤维素(MCC))以及水胶体(例如,ALIGINATE钠)的混合物可以有效用于制备独特的食用薄膜。食用薄膜由容易利用,较低制备成本,并且显示出与由支链淀粉组成的食用薄膜相比具有类似特性的成分组成。在这点上,食用薄膜可以提供可用于人的薄膜,其适合于附着于口腔表面并且在其中迅速溶解。
本发明的食用薄膜可用于递送或者释放口腔保健剂。这种试剂包含抗微生物剂和唾液刺激剂以治疗例如口臭,牙斑,牙龈炎,口腔干燥,口干燥,类似的口腔病征及其组合病征。此外,口腔护理的食用薄膜可以起有效抗口臭的口气清新剂的作用。
本发明的食用薄膜的口腔净化和口气清新效果可以通过将口腔护理剂阻滞在口腔内以提供延长的效力得以实现。在这点上,高度可分解的食用薄膜可以起介质的作用,据此通过口腔的粘膜对药用活性口腔剂进行给药。
此外,食用薄膜可以包含各种其它的适当成分,诸如软化剂,着色剂,调味剂,乳化剂,表面活性剂,增稠剂,粘合剂,甜味剂,香精,其它类似成分或者其组合。
在一实施方案中,食用薄膜优选地包含至少3种成膜剂,诸如麦芽糖糊精,填料和水胶体的混合物。应该认识到本发明的食用薄膜由与至少3种成膜剂中的一种相关的一种或者多种不同化合物组成。
在一个实施方案中,麦芽糖糊精组分的含量为食用薄膜的约5%到约60%干重,优选地约20%到约40%干重。麦芽糖糊精组分可以任一合适的方式进行加工。
水胶体可以提供厚度并且可以降低食用薄膜的易碎性。水胶体可以包含任一合适类型,合适量和数目的水胶体。在一个实施方案中,水胶体的含量可以为食用薄膜的约10%到约50%干重,优选地约20%到约30%干重。水胶体可以源自于例如天然的海藻,天然的种子胶,天然的植物渗出液,天然纤维提取物,生物合成胶,明胶,生物合成加工的淀粉或者纤维素物质,海藻酸盐,海藻酸钠,海藻酸钙,角叉菜胶,瓜尔胶,刺槐胶,他拉胶,阿拉伯胶,印度树胶,琼脂胶,黄原胶,果胶,其他的类似水胶体来源物质或者其组合。
任一合适的食品级增容剂也可以加入到食用薄膜中。这可以降低任一的粘性质地以及提供薄膜结构由此使其更可口。在一个实施方案中,填料的含量可以为可薄膜的约5%到约30%干重,优选地约15%到约25%干重。填料可以包括例如微晶纤维素,诸如木头的纤维素聚合物,碳酸镁和碳酸钙,重质碳酸钙,诸如硅酸镁和硅酸铝的硅酸盐,粘土,滑石,氧化钛,单,二以及三磷酸钙,其它类似增容剂及其组合。
人们相信至少3种除支链淀粉外的成膜剂,例如麦芽糖糊精,水胶体和增容剂的独特混合物可以使独特的食用薄膜组合物显示出由更昂贵基于支链淀粉的食用薄膜表现出的相同特性。本发明的申请人期望发现本发明不含支链淀粉的食用薄膜制剂可以显示出与现行的基于支链淀粉薄膜类似的例如清新的口腔感觉,有利净化(clean favor)以及制造简单的特性。
如前所述,可以将各种其它合适成分加入到本发明的食用薄膜中。例如,用于口腔净化,口气清新等的任一的合适药剂可以加入薄膜制剂中。药剂可以包含例如,pH控制剂,诸如尿素以及缓冲液,用于牙垢或者龋齿控制的无机组分,诸如磷酸酯以及氟化物,诸如葡萄糖酸锌的口气清新剂,抗菌斑/抗牙龈炎剂,诸如cholorhexidene,CPC以及Triclosan,唾液刺激剂包含例如,诸如柠檬酸,乳酸,琥珀酸,抗坏血酸,脂肪酸反丁烯二酸以及酒石酸的食用酸,药剂,营养剂,维生素,矿物质,其它类似的药剂或者其组合。
药剂可以递送或者释放到口腔中以进行有效的口腔治疗,诸如口腔净化和/或口气清新。在这点上,食用薄膜的薄膜成型剂可以将药剂滞阻在口腔中从而提供其延长的效力。在这种情况下,人们相信本发明不含支链淀粉的食用薄膜组合物更均一地将药剂释放到口腔中用于伤口或者粘膜以比从前更强的方式进行吸附。而且,人们还相信本发明的成膜剂混合物可以将药剂滞阻在口腔内延长的期限以延长或者增强药剂的药效。此外,通过延长药剂在口腔内的接触时间,药剂被更大程度的吸附由此增加其生物利用率。
如果使用的成膜剂的水平下降,可以使用软化剂降低产生薄膜的易碎性。又名增塑剂或者塑化剂的软化剂通常的含量高达薄膜的20干重%,优选地约2%到约10%干重。软化剂可以包含含有例如山梨糖醇及其他多元醇,甘油,聚乙二醇,丙二醇,氢化淀粉水解物,玉米糖浆,其它类似物或者其组合的增塑剂。
本发明的食用薄膜制剂还可以包含以任一量使用以产生所需颜色的着色剂或者颜料。颜料可以包含例如适合于食品,药物以及化妆品应用的天然食用色素以及染料。着色剂典型地通称FD&C染料以及色淀。
各种调味剂也可以加入到食用薄膜中。任一适合量以及种类的人造和/或天然调味剂可以任何可以接受的方式使用。例如,调味剂的含量为薄膜干重的约0.1%到约20%,优选地约10%到15%。调味剂可以包含例如,精油,合成调味剂或者混合物,包含但不限于从植物以及水果释放的油,诸如柑桔油,水果香精,胡椒薄荷油,绿薄荷油,其他的薄荷油,丁香油,冬青油,百里酚等,具有杀灭微生物特性的香料油,诸如薄荷醇,桉树醇,麝香草酚,类似的调味剂或者其组合。
调味剂可以通过乳化加强并且均匀分布于所有产品中。可以使用任一适合量和类型的天然和/或合成食品级乳化剂。例如,乳化剂可以包含卵磷脂,食品级非离子型乳化剂,诸如脂肪酸(C10-C18),单以及二酰基甘油酯,牛胆汁浸膏,聚甘油酯,聚乙烯山梨聚糖酯,丙二醇,山梨聚甘油一棕榈酸酯,山梨糖单甘油酯,山梨糖硬脂酸酯,酶修饰的卵磷脂,氢化卵磷脂,其他的类似乳化剂或者其组合。
调味剂可以通过任一适合的乳化加工进行乳化,诸如机械加工,强烈搅拌,发生在湍流中的强烈压力脉动,诸如均化作用,超声波处理,胶态研磨等。
本发明提供了生产食用薄膜制剂的方法。通常,食用薄膜制剂通过形成包含至少3种成膜剂的胶基液以及加工基液形成食用薄膜进行制备,所述成膜剂为诸如麦芽糖糊精,水胶体以及填料。典型地,基液通过加入最初的干燥成分混合物到水中并搅拌进行制备。
向基液中可以加入诸如调味剂/乳化剂混合物,甜味剂,软化剂,颜料等或者其组合的其他成分。在实施方案中,连续搅拌溶液并在从约40℃到约60℃的温度范围加热溶液。可以任一合适的方式干燥溶液由此形式食用薄膜
应该认识到,可以使用任一合适类型,数目以及排列方式的加工过程或者步骤(即,混合,加热,干燥,冷却,加入成分),过程参数(即,温度,压力,pH,加工次数)等。

在本发明的实施方案中,有效量抗微生物特性的厚朴提取物存在于糖果制剂中。在本发明的实施方案中,厚朴提取物的存在量高达糖食的3重量%。在本发明的实施方案中,厚朴提取物的存在量是可糖食的1重量%。在另一实施方案中,厚朴提取物的存在量为糖食的0.01重量%。考虑到上述体外试验中描述的厚朴提取物的效力,糖食的0.005重量%也具有有效的杀菌特性。
本发明的糖食可以是硬糖果,可咀嚼糖果,涂层有咬嚼性的夹心糖果以及条状糖果。例如,硬糖果主要由玉米糖浆和糖组成,并且其名字衍生自其只含有1.0%和4%水分的事实。外表上,这类糖果是固体的,但实际上它们是远低于其沸点的超冷液体。有不同类型的硬糖果。玻璃型通常澄清或者制成含有染料的不透明色;并且粒状类型常常是不透明的。
具有糖胶基的沉积玻璃型的连续加工过程如下。将玉米糖浆覆盖到通过高压蒸汽加热的圆筒上。快速热交换使糖浆中的水分蒸发。排出糖坯,添加颜料和调味剂。冷却糖浆并沉积在不锈钢运输机上。这些物质可以直接运送到贮水槽然后直接排放到模具中。
糖果运送到配料辊轧机,并将配料成型并切割成所需大小。糖果进入成形机将单独的块成形成圆盘,球,桶形等。本发明可以成形成任一形状,环形,矩形,三角形等等。也可以成形成动物形状或者任一其它新形状。然后冷却糖果,包裹并包装。
对于粒状类型的糖果而言,水和糖是与其它成分混合的基本组分,并在高温下(290°F-310°F)熟化,使水转化成蒸汽。然后将产品转入冷却轮,收集约150磅的配料,放入拨管机使产品充气,并加入调味剂。
将糖果转入配料辊轧机在这里成型并切割成所需大小。然后糖果进入成形机,将单独的块成型。在相对湿度35%的条件下冷却糖果并进入转鼓,在这里涂敷精糖。然后将糖果转到90°F,60%湿度的造粒室4小时。残存的空气和水分使产品成粒。
本发明可以是各种形状,含有各种调味剂以及各种大小的产品。本发明可以包含糖或者不包含糖。
本发明使用的调味剂可以是胡椒薄荷油,柑桔油,arvensis,水果调味剂,绿薄荷油等。
本发明使用的颜料是通称FD&C染料和色淀的着色剂。

Claims (70)
1.一种不含支链淀粉的食用薄膜组合物,含有:
(a)有效量的成膜剂;以及
(b)有效量的抗微生物剂,其中的抗微生物剂含有厚朴提取物。
2.权利要求1的组合物,其中的成膜剂包括麦芽糖糊精,填料以及水胶体的混合物。
3.权利要求2的组合物,其中的麦芽糖糊精含量为食用薄膜的约5wt%到约60wt%。
4.权利要求2的组合物,其中的麦芽糖糊精含量为食用薄膜的约20wt%到约40wt%。
5.权利要求2的组合物,其中的水胶体含量为食用薄膜的约10wt%到约50wt%。
6.权利要求2的组合物,其中的水胶体含量为食用薄膜的约20wt%到约30wt%。
7.权利要求2的组合物,其中的填料含量为食用薄膜的约5wt%到约30wt%。
8.权利要求2的组合物,其中的填料含量为食用薄膜的约15wt%到约25wt%。
9.权利要求2的组合物,其中的水胶体包括的物质选自天然胶,生物合成胶,天然海藻,天然植物浸出物,天然纤维提取物,明胶,生物合成加工淀粉,纤维素材料,海藻酸盐,果胶及其组合。
10.权利要求9的组合物,其中的天然胶包括的胶选自天然种子胶,瓜尔胶,刺槐胶,他拉胶,阿拉伯胶,印度树胶,琼脂胶以及黄原胶。
11.权利要求9的组合物,其中的海藻酸盐包括海藻酸钠或者海藻酸钙。
12.权利要求9的组合物,其中的天然海藻包括角叉菜。
13.权利要求2的组合物,其中的填料包括的食品级增容剂选自微晶纤维素,纤维素聚合物,碳酸镁,碳酸钙,重质碳酸钙,硅酸盐,粘土,滑石,二氧化钛,磷酸钙及其组合。
14.权利要求13的组合物,其中的纤维素聚合物包括木头。
15.权利要求13的组合物,其中的硅酸盐包括硅酸镁或者硅酸铝。
16.权利要求13的组合物,其中的磷酸钙包括磷酸一钙,磷酸二钙或者磷酸三钙。
17.权利要求1的组合物,其中的厚朴提取物含量为食用薄膜的约1wt%到约10wt%。
18.权利要求1的组合物,其中的厚朴提取物含量为食用薄膜的约8wt%。
19.权利要求1的组合物,其中的厚朴提取物含量为食用薄膜的约5wt%。
20.权利要求1的组合物,其中的厚朴提取物包括厚朴酚以及和朴酚中的至少一种。
21.权利要求1的组合物,还包括有效量的药物。
22.权利要求21的组合物,其中的药物包括的口腔净化或者口气清新化合物选自pH控制剂,控制牙垢或者龋齿的无机组分,口气清新剂,抗菌斑/抗牙龈炎剂,唾液刺激剂,药剂,营养剂,维生素,矿物质及其组合。
23.权利要求22的组合物,其中的pH控制剂包括尿素。
24.权利要求22的组合物,其中控制牙垢或者龋齿的无机组分包含磷酸盐或者氟化物。
25.权利要求22的组合物,其中的口气清新剂包括葡萄糖酸锌。
26.权利要求22的组合物,其中的抗菌斑/抗牙龈炎剂包括cholorhexidene,CPC或者triclosan。
27.权利要求22的组合物,其中的唾液刺激剂包括食物酸。
28.权利要求27的组合物,其中的食物酸包括的酸选自柠檬酸,乳酸,马来酸,琥珀酸,抗坏血酸,己二酸,反丁烯二酸以及酒石酸。
29.权利要求1的组合物,还包括有效量的软化剂。
30.权利要求29的组合物,其中的软化剂含量为食用薄膜的约0wt%到约20wt%。
31.权利要求29的组合物,其中的软化剂含量为食用薄膜的约2wt%到约10wt%。
32.权利要求29的组合物,其中的软化剂包括含有选自如下化合物的增塑剂:山梨糖醇,甘油,聚乙二醇,丙二醇,氢化淀粉水解物,玉米糖浆及其组合。
33.权利要求1的组合物,还包括有效量的着色剂。
34.权利要求1的组合物,还包括有效量的调味剂。
35.权利要求34的组合物,其中的调味剂含量为食用薄膜的约0.1wt%到约20wt%。
36.权利要求34的组合物,其中的调味剂含量为食用薄膜的约10wt%到约15wt%。
37.权利要求34的组合物,其中的调味剂包括选自如下的物质:精油,合成调味剂,水果香精,百里酚,具有杀灭微生物特性的香料油,及其混合物。
38.权利要求37的组合物,其中的精油包括柑桔油,胡椒薄荷油,绿薄荷油,薄荷油,丁香油,冬青油。
39.权利要求37的组合物,其中具有杀灭微生物特性的香料油包含薄荷醇,桉树醇,百里酚及其组合。
40.权利要求1的组合物,还包括有效量的乳化剂。
41.权利要求40的组合物,其中的乳化剂包括卵磷脂,(C10-C18)己二酸,单酰基以及二酰基甘油酯,牛胆汁浸膏,聚甘油酯,聚乙烯失水山梨糖酯,propolyene glycol,失水山梨糖醇单棕榈酸酯,失水山梨糖醇单硬脂酸酯,失水山梨糖醇三硬脂酸酯,酶修饰的卵磷脂,氢化卵磷脂,及其组合。
42.通过将不含支链淀粉的食用薄膜施用于口腔以净化口腔的方法,其中的食用薄膜包括:
(a)有效量的成膜剂;以及
(b)有效量的抗微生物剂,其中的抗微生物剂含有厚朴提取物。
43.权利要求42的方法,其中的厚朴提取物含量为食用薄膜的至少约1wt%。
44.权利要求42的方法,其中的厚朴提取物含量为食用薄膜的约5wt%。
45.权利要求42的方法,其中的厚朴提取物包括厚朴酚以及和朴酚中的至少一种。
46.权利要求42的方法,其中的成膜剂包含麦芽糖糊精,填料以及水胶体的混合物。
47.权利要求46的方法,其中麦芽糖糊精的含量为食用薄膜的约5wt%到约60wt%。
48.权利要求46的方法,其中水胶体的含量为食用薄膜的约10wt%到约50wt%。
49.权利要求46的方法,其中填料的含量为食用薄膜的约5wt%到约30wt%。
50.权利要求46的方法,其中的水胶体包括选自如下的物质:天然胶,生物合成胶,天然海藻,天然植物浸出物,天然纤维提取物,明胶,生物合成加工淀粉,纤维素材料,海藻酸盐,果胶,及其组合。
51.权利要求50的方法,其中的天然胶包括选自如下的胶:天然种子胶,瓜尔胶,刺槐胶,他拉胶,阿拉伯胶,印度树胶,琼脂胶以及黄原胶。
52.权利要求50的方法,其中的海藻酸盐包括海藻酸钠或者海藻酸钙。
53.权利要求50的方法,其中的天然海藻包括角叉菜。
54.权利要求46的方法,其中的填料的包括食品级增容剂选自微晶纤维素,纤维素聚合物,碳酸镁,碳酸钙,重质碳酸钙,硅酸盐,粘土,滑石,二氧化钛,磷酸钙,及其组合。
55.权利要求54的方法,其中的纤维素聚合物包括木头。
56.权利要求54的方法,其中的硅酸盐包括硅酸镁或者硅酸铝。
57.权利要求54的方法,其中的磷酸钙包括磷酸一钙,磷酸二钙或者磷酸三钙。
58.权利要求42的方法,其中的食用薄膜还包括药物,软化剂,着色剂,调味剂以及乳化剂中的一种或者多种。
59.权利要求42的方法,其中的食用薄膜递送至少约0.1wt%的厚朴提取物到口腔中。
60.权利要求42的方法,其中的食用薄膜递送至少约0.01wt%的厚朴提取物到口腔中。
61.权利要求42的方法,其中的食用薄膜递送至少约0.005wt%的厚朴提取物到口腔中。
62.一种制造不含支链淀粉的食用薄膜的方法,包括如下步骤:
(a)形成包含麦芽糖糊精,水胶体,以及填料的水溶液;
(b)向水溶液中添加有效量的抗微生物剂,其中的抗微生物剂含有厚朴提取物;以及
(C)干燥水溶液形成干燥食用薄膜。
63.权利要求62的方法,其中添加有效量的抗微生物剂包括添加足量的厚朴提取物以使干燥食用薄膜包含至少约1wt%的厚朴提取物。
64.权利要求62的方法,其中添加抗微生物剂包括厚朴酚以及和朴酚中的至少一种。
65.权利要求62的方法,其中形成水溶液包括添加足量的麦芽糖糊精以使干燥食用薄膜包含约5wt%到约60wt%的麦芽糖糊精。
66.权利要求62的方法,其中形成水溶液包括添加足量的水胶体以使干燥食用薄膜包含约10wt%到约50wt%的水胶体。
67.权利要求62的方法,其中形成水溶液包括添加足量的填料以使干燥食用薄膜包含约5wt%到约30wt%的填料。
68.权利要求62的方法,其中形成水溶液还包括添加药物,软化剂,着色剂,调味剂以及乳化剂中的一种或者多种。
69.权利要求62的方法,还包括在干燥水溶液前加热水溶液到约40℃到约60℃的温度。
70.一种降低口腔内微生物数目或者活性的治疗方法,所述方法包括如下步骤:
(a)提供含有足以杀灭口腔细菌或者使口腔细菌失活量的厚朴提取物的食用薄膜;以及
(b)使需要治疗的人消耗食用薄膜,借此通过治疗使人口腔内的细菌减少或者失活。
