使卷筒纸连续结合的装置和方法
本发明关于使卷筒纸连续结合的一个装置和一个方法。
从DE-A-10043989和US 2001/019757已知了使卷筒纸连续结合的装置。这些文件描述了依靠相互压缩相关卷筒纸来实现两个卷筒纸结合的装置,其中在一个加压滚筒和一个设有表面凸起和/或下凹花纹的压印滚筒之间,压缩卷筒纸。
参照图1的示意图,通常用于使卷筒纸连续结合的设备包括用于压花卷筒纸(E,F)的两对滚筒和圆筒(A,B;C,D),一个滚筒(G),用于把给定量的胶分配到沿压花滚筒之一传送的纸上,以及一个具有橡胶涂层表面的压印滚筒(H),它沿直径位于上胶滚筒(G)的另一侧:当纸在相应压花滚筒和圆筒的表面之间传送时,即当纸通过图1中“X”和“Y”所示的区域时,卷筒纸(E,F)产生压花,并且由于它们通过压花滚筒(B)和橡胶滚筒(H)施加的压力,肯定被胶接。在图1中,箭头(VE,VF,VA)表示卷筒纸(E)、卷筒纸(F)以及离开的双层卷筒纸(AC)的前进方向。
这个操作技术的一个缺点在于:由于包覆在输出加压滚筒(H)上的材料很柔顺,以及由于这个滚筒施加在第一压花圆筒(B)上的压力,加压滚筒的材料将渗入圆筒的表面空隙中。结果是,在通过加压滚筒涂覆材料配合在压花圆筒空隙的区域时,两个卷筒纸相互压挤(如图2A),因而产生再次压花的过程,在输出材料两侧之一上具有明显的粗糙度(参见图2B,其中“L”表示双层卷筒纸相对于理想轮廓的变形)。这类装置应用的另一个缺点是由于机械构件和胶粘剂的成本,以及由于难以保持上胶系统的清洁,上胶系统带来了显著的费用。
通常用于使卷筒纸连续结合的另一种设备包括一个组合装置,如图3A所示位于压花滚筒和圆筒的下游,它包括一个具有硬表面的平滑滚筒(Z)和一组具有表面凸起花纹的小滚筒(W),设置成使得输出的双层卷筒纸靠在平滑滚筒(Z)上,在小滚筒(W)下通过。这样,小滚筒的凸起花纹使两个卷筒纸相互压挤,从而它们的结合不需要采用任何胶粘剂。
这种设备的一个缺点在于:沿着小滚筒作用的区域,失去了原先的压花,在从设备离开的双层卷筒纸上,可明显看到产生的两个或更多部位(如图4所示,其中“AC”表示双层卷筒纸,“AM”表示上述部位,点阵表示在包括小滚筒的组合装置的上游产生的压花)。结果是,这种已知的操作技术意味着部分地,但总是明显地失去了制成双层卷筒纸的两个卷筒纸的压花效果。采用这类设备的另一个缺点是:当超过系统的给定操作速度时,小滚筒会振动,因此,会提前磨损,从而对操作速度提出了一个上限,这与当前的生产要求不相容。上述标记(AM)往往不能相对于印出双层卷筒纸日期的滚筒完全对中,使得该标记(AM)更加不好看。
本发明的主要目的是克服上述缺点。
按照本发明,由于提供了具有在单独权利要求中表示的特征的一个操作过程和一个装置,已经达到这个效果。另外的特征在相关的权利要求中规定。
本发明可以实现两个卷筒纸的连续结合,采用或不采用先前的压花,以及采用或不采用上胶,不会产生双层卷筒纸的不希望的表面变形,因而造成更好的质量。此外,本发明的装置易于制造,有成本效益,并且即使在长使用寿命之后仍很可靠。

归纳成其基本的结构,参照附图5A-7,本发明装置可以与压花双层卷筒纸(1)的装置结合使用,并且由一个滚筒(2)制成,它具有贴在弹性支承表面上的外表面(20)。上述滚筒(2)与一个支承固定结构(为了简化,在附图中没有表示)接合,不影响绕其纵轴的转动。
按照图5A示意地表示的例子,上述压花装置包括一个为熟悉该技术人员已知的组合装置,具有两对压花滚筒和圆筒(3,4;30,40),连接一个相应的电机(图中未示)来驱动它们绕相关纵轴的转动,如图5A中箭头(R)所示。
按照图7说明的例子,上述滚筒(2)包括一个例如由钢制成的刚性圆筒(21),具有确定了一个轴的两个同轴端柄(22),以空转状态支承在一个固定结构(图中未示)上。上述圆筒(21)上设有一个弹性涂层(23),例如为肖氏硬度60到90的“Neoprene”橡胶。例如采用“Loctite”胶粘剂在上述涂层(23)上贴一个例如由钢制成的硬表面(20)。
例如,铺设一个具有预设节距和方向的螺旋元件,可以形成上述硬表面(20),如图6A-6D所示。在图6D例子的情形中,预设的螺距使得硬表面(20)完全覆盖了弹性表面(23)。
实际上,表面(23)作用为铺设在其上面的表面(20)的一个弹性支承。
滚筒(2)位于压花装置的下游,使得在双层卷筒纸(1)离开系统之前,插在压花圆筒(4)和滚筒(2)之间。
滚筒(2)与熟悉该技术的人员已知的液压装置连接,它使该滚筒在任何时间均靠在圆筒(4)上。
圆筒(4)和滚筒(2)相互一起对两个卷筒纸(5,6)加压,形成双层卷筒纸(1)。尤其是,在向出口前进时,两个卷筒纸在圆(4)和滚筒(2)硬表面(20)之间被压挤,由此造成卷筒纸的结合,即使在两个卷筒纸之间不用胶粘剂,在这类材料的使用中也充分保持稳定。在上述两个卷筒纸最终结合时,滚筒(2)表面(20)的硬度保证上述卷筒纸表面不会变形到这样程度:使得卷筒纸渗入圆筒(4)的空隙或凹腔中,从而先前的制成的压花不会承受任何不希望的改变。此外,由于上述表面(20)装在一个弹性支承上,基本上抑制了转动圆筒(4)和滚筒(2)之间配合可能引起的任何振动。
当希望上述效果影响结合的整个宽度时,滚筒(2)的长度制成基本上等于圆筒(4)的宽度。如果考虑仅对结合的一部分有这种效果,则滚筒(2)可以比圆筒(4)短。
可以理解到,上述卷筒纸(5,6)可以单张或多张纸类型。
上述装置(2)也可有利地用于图8所示类型的系统中,其中依靠一个仅对两个卷筒纸之一压花的独特压花组合装置(3,4),提供了一个压花卷筒纸(5)与一个平滑或不压花卷筒纸(6)的结合。装置(2)的操作完全相同于参照图5A示意图的以上描述情形。
本装置也可有利地用于图9所示类型的系统中,其中提供了由一个独特压花组合装置(3,4)同时压花的两个卷筒纸(5,6)的结合。在这个情形中,装置(2)的操作也完全相同于参照图5A示意图的情形。另外,本装置也可有利地用于图10A所示类型的系统中,其中在卷筒纸结合之前不提供压花。圆筒(4)类型可以设有简单的棱锥表面切口,如图10A所示,或者是具有预设形状或设计的表面凸起花纹(401),按照预定的顺序分布在该圆筒的表面上,如图12A所示。在后者情形中,滚筒(2)可以有利地为图6D表示的类型,具有完全覆盖弹性表面(23)的硬表面(20)。在这种情形中,装置(2)的操作也与图5A示意图所述的完全相同。
图11A中表示的圆筒(4)可以有利地用于图5A方案中。这种圆筒具有棱锥表面切口(400),如图中用网格充填的部分,以及预定形状和尺寸的凸起花纹(401)。
对于两个卷筒纸(5,6)(如上所述,它们可以是多张卷筒纸)的结合,本发明的操作方法包括在一个加压滚筒或圆筒(2)和一个压印滚筒或圆筒(4)之间对卷筒纸加压,上述压印圆筒上设有表面凸起和/或下凹花纹,并且上述加压圆筒的外表面是硬表面。
按照本发明的方法,上述圆筒(4)也可以是一个压花圆筒。

Claims (10)

1.连续结合两个卷筒纸的装置,包括一个压缩装置,该压缩装置能够在卷筒纸(5,6)向装置的出口区前进时,把上述卷筒纸压缩在一个压印圆筒或压印滚筒上,其特征在于:上述压缩装置包括一个加压滚筒或加压圆筒,所述加压滚筒或加压圆筒具有一个硬的外表面(20),该外表面被位于该外表面底下一个弹性表面(23)支承。
2.按照权利要求1的装置,其特征在于:上述弹性表面(23)还被一个刚性表面(21)支承。
3.按照权利要求1的装置,其特征在于:上述加压滚筒(2)的上述外表面(20)由一个具有预设节距和方向的螺旋体制成,并且铺设在上述弹性表面(23)上。
4.按照权利要求1的装置,其特征在于:上述外表面(20)完全包覆了上述弹性表面(23)。
5.按照以上权利要求1至4之一项的装置,其特征在于:上述加压滚筒(2)的外表面(20)由钢制成。
6.按照以上权利要求1至4之一项的装置,其特征在于:上述加压滚筒(2)的弹性表面(23)由橡胶制成。
7.按照权利要求1的装置,其特征在于:上述压印圆筒(4)上设有表面凸起和/或下凹花纹。
8.按照权利要求1的装置,特征在于:上述压印圆筒(4)是一个压花圆筒。
9.依靠相互压缩相关卷筒纸来实现两个卷筒纸(5,6)结合的方法,其特征在于:该方法包括:在一个设有硬的外表面和位于该外表面底下的弹性表面(23)的加压滚筒或加压圆筒与一个设有表面凸起和/或下凹花纹的压印滚筒或压印圆筒之间,加压上述卷筒纸。
