Abstract
提供操作性良好从而可以可靠地操作的各种电子仪器的操作部使用的触摸屏和使用该触摸屏的电子仪器。在该触摸屏上,分别具有上下电极层的以指定的间隔相对的上下基板(21)、(22)的中间部以圆顶状向上方突出。
Description
技术领域
本发明涉及各种电子仪器的操作部使用的触摸屏和使用触摸屏的电子仪器。
背景技术
近年来,伴随着电子仪器的高功能化和多样化,很多电子仪器已具有了装配在LCD等显示元件的前面的光透过性的触摸屏。在该机器中,通过触摸屏视认并选择在显示元件上显示的文字或符号和图案等,通过操作触摸屏而操作机器。
下面,使用图6~图8说明现有的触摸屏。
图6是现有的触摸屏的剖面图。触摸屏8具有聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯薄膜等透明的上基板1、玻璃或透明的树脂等下基板2、分别在上基板1的下面和下基板2的上面形成的氧化铟锡(ITO)等光透过性的上电极层1A和下电极层2A。在下电极层2A上面通过印刷而形成由环氧树脂或硅等构成的多个点隔离柱3,上电极层1A和下电极层2A通过该点隔离柱3而以指定的间隔相对。在下基板2的上面外周形成绝缘层4和粘接层5,由粘接层5使上基板1和下基板2相互粘贴在一起。下基板2通过粘接层7粘贴并保持在树脂等透明的支持体6的上面。
用手指或指定的笔尖按压上基板1的上面时,如图7所示,上基板1就发生弯曲从而上电极层1A就接触到下基板2的下电极层2A,于是,上电极层1A与下电极层2A便发生电气连接。在去掉按压力时,借助于上基板1的弹性恢复力,触摸屏8恢复到图6的状态。
如图8的剖面图所示,触摸屏8安装在电子仪器的外壳10的开口孔10A的下面,利用支架12等与配置在下方的LCD等显示元件11一起安装到外壳10上。
并且,通过透明的触摸屏8视认并选择在显示元件11上显示的文字或符号、图案等,通过按压操作其上方的上基板1,触摸屏8发生电气接触或分离。这样,便可切换电子仪器的各功能或显示元件11的显示等。
现有的触摸屏8全体是平坦的,所以,在安装到电子仪器的外壳10上时,作为操作面的上基板1的上面就要求比外壳10的上面凹曲。因此,如图8所示,特别是在按压操作外周边缘时,手指或笔尖接触开口孔10A外周的外壳10的上面时,就难于操作触摸屏,从而容易发生误操作。
发明内容
本发明的目的旨在提供操作性良好的可以可靠地进行操作的触摸屏和使用触摸屏的电子仪器。
该触摸屏具有光透过性的上基板、以指定间隔与上基板相对的光透过性的下基板、设置在上基板的与下基板相对的面上的光透过性的上电极层和设置在下基板的与上基板相对的面上的光透过性的下电极层。上基板和下基板的中央部从下基板向上基板的方向分别以圆顶状突出。

具体实施方式
下面,使用图1~图5说明本发明的实施例。对于与在现有的技术中说明的结构相同的结构部分标以相同的符号,并省略其详细的说明。
图1是本发明实施例的触摸屏的剖面图。触摸屏25具有聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯薄膜等透明的上基板21、聚碳酸酯或丙烯酰基以及降冰片烯树脂等其下面平坦而呈块状的透明的下基板22、在上基板21的下面和下基板22的上面形成的氧化铟锡(ITO)等光透过性的上电极层21A和下电极层22A。上基板21和下基板22的中间部以略呈半球形的圆顶状向上方突出。在下电极层22A的上面通过印刷而形成由环氧树脂或硅等构成的多个点隔离柱3,借助于该点隔离柱3,上电极层21A与下电极层22A保持指定的间隔而相对。在上基板21和下基板22的外周边缘分别设置平坦部21B和22B,在平坦部22B的上面外周形成绝缘层4和粘接层5。平坦部21B与粘接层5相粘接,使上基板21与下基板22相互粘贴在一起。
用手指或指定的笔尖按压上基板21的上面时,上基板21发生弯曲,上电极层21A就与下基板22的下电极层22A接触,从而上电极层21A与下电极层22A就发生电气连接。与现有的技术一样,在去掉按压力时,借助于上基板21的弹性恢复力而恢复到原来的状态。
如图2的剖面图所示,触摸屏25安装在电子仪器的外壳10的开口孔10A的下面,利用支架12等与配置在其下方的LCD等显示元件11一起安装到外壳10上。触摸屏25的中间部形成圆顶状,作为操作面的上基板21从开口孔10A向上方突出。因此,触摸屏25不仅中央部而且外周边缘也容易按压,从而可以可靠地操作电子仪器。
通过透明的触摸屏25视认并选择在显示元件11上显示的文字或符号、图案等,通过按压其上方的上基板21,触摸屏25就发生电气连接或分离。这样,便可切换电子仪器的各功能或显示元件11的显示等。由于下基板22形成块状,所以,触摸屏25不使用支持体便可直接安装到外壳10上。
按照本实施例,触摸屏25以指定的间隔相对的上下基板21、22的中间部向上方以圆顶状突出。因此,将触摸屏安装到电子仪器的外壳10的下面时,中间部从外壳10的开口孔10A向上方突出,所以,操作性好,可以减少误操作。
下基板22是块状的,所以,不需要用于保持下基板22的支持体,同时,中间部以圆顶状突出的块状的下基板22具有透镜效果,所以,可以放大配置在触摸屏的下方的显示元件11的显示,容易看清楚。
借助于设置在上基板21和下基板22的外周边缘的平坦部21B和22B,上下基板容易相互粘贴在一起,同时,触摸屏也容易与电子仪器的外壳10和显示元件11保持固定在一起。
如图3的平面图所示,在配置在下方的显示元件11的显示部以外的上基板21的上面外周和下基板22的下面外周,也可以粘贴附加了各种功能的符号或图案等显示标志的显示薄片26。也可以利用该显示薄片26切换显示元件11显示的功能以外的范围更宽的功能。显示标志也可以不是薄片而印刷到基板上。
在以上的说明中,如图4A的平面图所示,上基板21和下基板22的圆顶形状略呈半球状。但是,本发明不限于该形状,与机器的开口孔10A的形状一致而使圆顶形状成为图4B所示的略呈椭圆形或图4C那样的略呈四边形,也可以得到同样的效果。
如图5的剖面图所示,通过使下基板22为薄板状或进而使其中央部与外周部的厚度不同等,也可以使下基板22获得各种各样的透镜效果。
在以上的说明中,触摸屏25的操作面中间部比外壳10的上面向上方突出。但是,本发明不限于该形状,在应用于便携式的机器等时,可以将圆顶形状降低,而使操作面比外壳10的上面略靠后方。产业上的可利用性本发明提供误操作少、从而操作性良好的触摸屏和使用该触摸屏的电子仪器。
Claims (6)
1.一种触摸屏,其特征在于:
具有光透过性的第1基板、
以指定间隔与所述第1基板相对的光透过性的第2基板、
设置在所述第1基板的与所述第2基板相对的第1面上的光透过性的第1电极层、
设置在所述第2基板的与所述第1基板相对的第1面上的光透过性的第2电极层,
所述第1基板和第2基板的中央部从所述第2基板向所述第1基板的方向分别以圆顶状突出。
2.根据权利要求1所述的触摸屏,其特征在于:所述第2基板的所述中央部比外周边缘厚。
3.根据权利要求1所述的触摸屏,其特征在于:所述第1基板和第2基板的至少一方具有设置在其外周边缘的平坦部。
4.根据权利要求1所述的触摸屏,其特征在于:进而具有粘贴在所述第1基板的所述第1面的相反侧的第2面和所述第2基板的所述第1面的相反侧的第2面中的一方上的显示薄片。
5.根据权利要求1所述的触摸屏,其特征在于:进而具有在所述第1基板的所述第1面的相反侧的第2面和所述第2基板的所述第1面的相反侧的第2面中的一方上形成的显示标志。
6.一种电子仪器,其特征在于:
具有权利要求1所述的触摸屏、
设有与所述触摸屏的所述第1基板结合的开口孔的外壳、
配置在所述触摸屏的所述第2基板的与所述第1基板相反侧的显示元件。
