因此,本发明的一个目的是提供一种产品和一种方法,既清洁皮肤又减轻皮肤变老的迹象。
本发明的另一个目的是提供一种产品和一种方法,使α-羟基羧酸以一种方式存积,该方式可避免在皮肤上形成粘性残留物。
本发明还有一个目的是提供一种释放配方中的α-羟基羧酸的产品,并且避免形成恶臭的气味。
从下面的概述和接着的详细讨论中,本发明的这些和其它的目的将会更加清晰。
发明概述
根据本发明,提供了一种小毛巾产品,其包括:
(a)水不溶性的衬底;
(b)浸渍衬底的化妆品组合物,含有:
(i)α和β-羟基羧酸;
(ii)硅氧烷微乳液;
(iii)在水中具有的pH不高于约6.5的组合物。
本发明的硅氧烷微乳液既提供了组合物的稳定性,又阻碍了当α-羟基羧酸沉积在皮肤上可能引起的任何发粘现象。
表面活性剂、特别是温和的表面活性剂如那些两性型表面活性剂可以在低pH下分解,散发出恶臭味。我们发现本发明的硅氧烷微乳液还可用于阻碍恶臭气味的发生。发明详述
现在本申请人惊奇地发现浸渍了α-羟基羧酸的小毛巾能够用于皮肤,而不产生任何发粘现象。通过使用硅氧烷微乳液可以达到上述目的。
一般的面霜、洗液和其它类型的含有α-羟基羧酸的化妆品媒介物还含有润肤剂,该润肤剂同其它活性成分一起沉积在皮肤上。这些润肤剂包括例如酯类、烃类或二甲聚硅氧烷油类。润肤剂的存在使任何的发粘现象不明显,该发粘现象可能由于水分的蒸发或载体分离去后留下干燥的活性成产生的。
不幸的是,不能用高粘度的液体浸渍小毛巾产品,因为当待浸渍的液体太粘稠时,将不能使小毛巾充分润湿。然而,小毛巾必须使用的低粘度液体易于产生差的乳液稳定性,并且难以使用大量的润肤剂来配入这些体系。因此,活性成分如α-羟基羧酸以粘着的方式存积在皮肤上,该活性成分来自分布在小毛巾上的低粘度液体。
本发明的第一个必须的方面是衬底。优选的衬底是水不溶性物质。“水不溶性”是指衬底不溶于水或者浸在水中不易破碎。与活性成分结合起来的衬底的另一个好处是后者有助于活性成分的渗透。而且衬底比单纯的液体或凝胶配方更好,其能更加准确地应用于皮肤以及避开敏感部位,如由于疏忽将涩的组合物弄入眼部区域而引起刺激。
各种不同的材料可以用作衬底。合乎需要的是具有下列非限定性的特性:(i)具有足够的吸湿能力的可以用,(ii)足够的耐磨性,(iii)足够的弹性和孔隙度,(iv)足够的厚度,(v)合适的大小,和(vi)与浸渍用组合物的成分不发生反应。
符合上述标准的合适衬底的非限定性的例子包括非织造衬底、织造衬底、充水衬底、充气衬底等。优选的实施方案是用非织造衬底,因为它们便宜并且容易从各种各样的物质中得到。“非织造”是指层中含有的纤维不是织成织物而是形成片,特别是一个薄片。这些纤维可以是无规的(即随意排列)也可以经过整理(即梳理成主要朝一个方向)。此外,非织造衬底可以由无规层和整理过的纤维层相结合组成。
非织造衬底包括各种天然和合成材料。天然物是指这些材料来自植物、动物、昆虫及其副产品。合成物是指这些材料主要来自各种人造材料,或者来自通常含有任何普通合成纤维或天然纺织长度的纤维或其混合物的纤维网状材料。
本发明中所用的天然材料的非限定性例子是丝纤维、角蛋白纤维和纤维素系纤维。角蛋白纤维的非限定性例子包括选自羊毛纤维、骆驼毛纤维等的那些纤维。纤维素系纤维的非限定性例子包括选自木浆纤维、棉纤维、大麻纤维、黄麻纤维、亚麻纤维及其混合物的那些纤维。优选木浆纤维,而一般避免所有的棉纤维(如:棉絮)。
本发明所用的合成材料的非限定性例子包括选自醋酸纤维,丙烯酸纤维,纤维素酯纤维,改良丙烯酸纤维,聚酰胺纤维,聚酯纤维,聚烯烃纤维,聚乙烯醇纤维,人造纤维及其混合物的那些纤维。这些合成材料的一些例子包括丙烯酸类,如Acrilan,Creslan和丙烯腈基纤维,Orlon;纤维素酯纤维如醋酸纤维素,Arnel和Aclene;聚酰胺如尼龙(例如尼龙6,尼龙66,尼龙610等);聚酯如Fortrel,Kodel和聚对苯二甲酸乙二酯纤维,Dacron聚烯烃类如聚丙烯,聚乙烯;聚乙酸乙烯酯纤维及其混合物。
从天然材料制得的非织造衬底由网或薄片构成,通常是用纤维的液体悬浮液在细金属丝网筛上形成。
用天然材料做成用于本发明的衬底可由各种商业来源获得。在这里可用的合适的商购纸层的非限定性例子包括Airtex,一种内有空气的压花纤维素层,其基本重量约为71gsy,购自James River公司,Green Bay,WI;和Walkisoft,一种内置空气的压花纤维素,其基本重量约为75gsy,购自Walkisoft U.S.A,Mount Holly,NC。
用合成材料做成的可用于本发明中的非织造衬底也可由各种商业来源获得。这里可用的合适的非织造层物质的非限定性例子包括HEF40-047,它是一种多孔的充水材料,含有大约50%人造纤维和50%聚酯,其基本重量约为43克/平方码(gsy),购自Veratec.公司,Walpole,MA;HEF140-102,它是一种多孔的充水材料,含有大约50%人造纤维和50%聚酯,其基本重量约为56gsy,购自Veratec.公司,Walpole,MA;Novenet149-191,一种热粘合的格子状材料,含有约69%人造纤维、约25%聚丙烯和约6%棉,其基本重量约为100gsy,购自Veratec.公司,Walpole,MA;HEF Nubtex149-801,一种块状多孔的充水材料,含有大约100%的聚酯,其基本重量约为70gsy,购自Veratec.公司,Walpole,MA;Keybak951V,一种干燥成型的多孔材料,含有大约75%的人造纤维和大约25%的丙烯酸纤维,其基本重量约为43gsy,购自Chicopee公司,New Brunswick,NJ;Keybar1368,一种多孔材料,含有大约75%人造纤维和约5%聚酯,其基本重量约为39gsy,购自Chicopee公司,New Brunswick,NJ;Duralace1236,一种多孔的充水材料,含有大约100%人造纤维,其基本重量约为40-115gsy,购自Chicopee公司,New Brunswick,NJ;Duralace5904,一种多孔的充水材料,含有大约100%聚酯,其基本重量约为40-115gsy,购自Chicopee公司,New Brunswick,NJ;Sontaro8868,一种充水材料,含有大约50%纤维素和50%聚酯,其基本重量约为60gsy,购自Dupont Chemical公司。
对于本发明最优选的小毛巾是非纺织衬底,特别是人造纤维/聚酯的混合物,其重量比为10∶90-90∶10,优选的比例为20∶80-80∶20,最好是40∶60-60∶40。最优选的小毛巾是70∶30的人造纤维/聚酯的非织造手帕类制品。
衬底可做成各种各样的形状和形式,一般来说,衬底做成一次性使用的小毛巾的形式。最好将小毛巾叠成Z形状。它们可以彼此交织,但是优选不交织。Z形折叠由一块中心片和其两侧一上一下的翼板组成。这一上一下的翼板基本上是等宽的,基本上等于中心片宽的一半。每决小毛巾均匀地沿互相垂直的方向折叠成Z形状。小毛巾的大小最好是长度为10-40cm,优选15-30cm,最适宜是18-24cm。小毛巾的宽度可以是8-30cm,优选10-25cm,最适宜是15-20cm。
可以将5-100,优选10-50条单个的小毛巾保存在分配袋中,优选小袋是不透气的。在保存期间和分配时,小袋可重新再密封,通常通过密封胶带封住分配开口。也可以将小毛巾独立包装在小袋中。
本发明中的衬底可任选包括两层或多层,每层具有不同的质地和摩擦性。不同的质地是由原料的不同结合造成的,或由于应用具有更多的可剥下的摩擦边和具有更柔软的可温和清洗的吸湿透的衬底所造成的。另外,衬底的各层可以做成不同的颜色,因此有助于使用者进一步区分各表面。
本发明的另一个重要因素是羟基羧酸。这个术语不仅指酸的形式,而且包含其盐的形式。形成盐的典型阳离子平衡离子有碱金属、碱土金属、铵、C2-C8三烷醇铵阳离子及其混合物。术语“α-羟基羧酸”不但包括羟基酸类,而且包括α-酮酸类以及羟基酸聚合物形式的相关化合物。
α-羟基酸类是羟基连在靠近羧基的α碳的有机羧酸。其一般结构如下:
(Ra)(Rb)C(OH)COOH其中Ra和Rb独立地是H、F、Cl、Br、烷基、芳烷基或芳基,饱和的或不饱和的、直链或支连或环状、具有1-25个碳原子的异构体或非异构体。另外Ra和Rb可任选被OH,CHO,COOH和有1-9个碳原子的烷氧基取代。当Ra和Rb不同时,α-羟基酸以D、L和DL形式的立体异构体存在。

α-羟基羧酸的量可为浸渍到衬底上的组合物的约0.01-20重量%,优选约0.1-15重量%,更优选约1-10重量%,最适宜为约3-8重量%。
当把本发明的组合物放入水中,其具有的pH不高于约6.5,优选约6.0-2.0,更优选约5.5-2.5,甚至更优选约5.0-3.0,最适宜约4.5-3.5。可以将组合物以干燥的状态放在小毛巾上,由消费者通过用水弄湿来活化。在优选的实施方案中,将本发明的组合物预先制备成低粘度的流体组合物。一般的粘度范围为在200C时0.5-100cps,优选约2-20cps(Brookfield RVT)。
按重量计,浸渍用组合物的量相对于衬底为约20∶1-1∶20,优选约10∶1-1∶10,最适宜为约2∶1-1∶2。
通常将湿润剂掺入本发明的组合物。湿润剂一般为多元醇。代表性的多元醇包括甘油、双甘油、聚亚烷基二醇,并更优选亚烷基多元醇及其衍生物,包括丙二醇、二丙二醇、聚丙二醇、聚乙二醇及其衍生物、山梨醇、羟丙基山梨醇、己二醇、1,2-丁二醇、1,2,6-己三醇、异戊二烯二醇、乙氧基化甘油、丙氧基化甘油及其混合物。最优选2-甲基-1,3-丙二醇,购自Arco Chemical Company的MP Diol。多元醇的量占浸渍用组合物的约0.5-95重量%,优选约1-50重量%,更优选约1.5-20重量%,最适宜为约3-10重量%。
本发明产品的另一个重要成分是硅氧烷微乳液。在这些微乳液中,硅氧烷物质的平均粒度是约0.01-500nm,优选约1-100nm,最适宜约5-50nm。可使用购自Malvern Instruments的2600D粒度分级器通过激光散射技术来测量粒度。
可以通过高剪切机械混合硅氧烷和水来制备微乳液,或者通过将不溶性的、非挥发性的硅氧烷用水乳化和例如将混有乳化剂的硅氧烷制成热的乳化剂溶液来制备微乳液,或者通过机械和化学乳化相结合来制备微乳液。
在硅氧烷乳液的制备中,一些表面活性剂物质可单独或以混合物的形式用作乳化剂。优选的乳化剂包括阴离子乳化剂如烷芳基苯磺酸盐,例如十二烷基苯磺酸钠,烷基硫酸盐如月桂基硫酸钠,烷基醚硫酸盐如月桂基醚硫酸钠nEO,其中n是1-20,烷基酚醚硫酸盐如辛基酚醚硫酸盐nEO其中n是1-20,和磺基琥珀酸盐如二辛基磺基琥珀酸钠。
此外适合的还有非离子乳化剂如烷基酚乙氧基化物例如壬基酚乙氧基化物nEO,其中n是1-50,脂肪醇乙氧基化物例如月桂醇nEO,其中n是1-50,酯乙氧基化物例如聚氧乙烯单硬脂酸酯,其中氧乙烯基单元的数目是1-30。
本发明特别优选的硅氧烷是聚二甲聚硅氧烷醇,其可以是直链或支链的。数均分子量是约1000-约1百万,优选约20000-500000,最适宜约40000-100000。微乳液可以负荷硅氧烷的量为约1-95重量%,优选约10-60重量%,最适宜约20-40重量%。预先形成的微乳液可购自厂商如Dow Corning,General Electric,Union Carbide,WackerChemie,Shin Etsu和Toray Silicone Company。特别优选的是直链聚二甲聚硅氧烷基微乳液,含有最大粒度为40nm的25%的硅氧烷,pH为6.5-8以及十二烷基苯磺酸三乙醇胺/Laureth-24的表面活性剂的结合,其购自Dow Corning,商标为DC 2-1870。
本发明的组合物是液体的形式时,将通常以各种化妆上可接受的载体媒介物来提供。通常载体媒介物是水。载体媒介物的量占浸渍组合物的约0.5-99重量%,优选约1-80重量%,更优选约50-70重量%,最适宜约65-75重量%。
需要将防腐剂掺入本发明的化妆品组合物中,用来防止潜在的有害微生物的生长。本发明组合物的适用的传统防腐剂为对-羟基苯甲酸的烷基酯。近来开始使用的其它防腐剂包括乙内酰脲衍生物、丙酸盐和各种季铵盐化合物。美容师对恰当的防腐剂是熟悉的,通常选择防腐剂要满足防腐剂性能测试并提供产品稳定性。特别优选的防腐剂是苯氧基乙醇、对羟基苯甲酸甲酯、对羟基苯甲酸丙酯、咪唑烷基脲、脱氢乙酸钠和苄醇。防腐剂的选择必须考虑到组合物的用途和防腐剂与组合物中其它成分的可能的不相容性。优选防腐剂的用量占组合物的0.01-2重量%。
本发明的组合物可进一步包括草本植物提取物。可以做为例证的提取物包括罗马春黄菊、绿茶、美黄芩、寻麻根、日本当药、小茴香和芦荟提取物。每种提取物的量占组合物的约0.001-1重量%,优选约0.01-0.5重量%,最适宜为0.05-0.2重量%。
组合物中也可以存在少量附属成分。这些成分中可以有维生素,如维生素E的醋酸盐、维生素C、维生素A软酯酸盐、泛醇和任何的维生素B复合物。也可以存在抗刺激剂,包括那些卡哈苡苷、α-红没药醇和glycyhrizznate盐,每种维生素或抗刺激剂的存在量占组合物的约0.001-1重量%,优选约0.01-0.3重量%。
本发明中的组合物也可以掺入乳化剂。这些乳化剂可以是阴离子、非离子、阳离子、两性及其结合。有用的非离子型乳化剂包括C10-C20脂肪醇或酸性疏水剂,每摩尔疏水剂与2-20摩尔环氧乙烷或环氧丙烷缩合;与2-20摩尔环氧烷烃缩合的C2-C10烷基苯酚;单-和双脂肪酸乙二醇酯;脂肪酸单甘油酯;脱水山梨醇;单-和双C8-C20脂肪酸;嵌段共聚物(环氧乙烷/环氧丙烷);以及聚氧乙烯基失水山梨醇及其结合。烷基多苷和糖脂肪酰胺(如:甲基葡糖酰胺)也是合适的非离子乳化剂。特别优选作为乳化剂的是用40摩尔环氧乙烷烷氧基化的氢化蓖麻蜡,即市售的CremopHore RH-400。
也可以应用阴离子和两性型的温和乳化剂。特别优选的阴离子乳化剂的例子包括月桂两性乙酸盐和肌氨酸盐。优选的两性乳化剂包括椰油酰胺丙基甜菜碱和二甲基甜菜碱。
乳化剂的量为约0.05-20重量%,优选约0.1-5重量%,最适宜为约0.5-0.8重量%。
已经发现含有脂肪酸(C10-C22烷基)基团的低pH体系例如两性的乙酸月桂酯能释放出恶臭气味。虽然理论上不能肯定,但是相信具有脂肪酸基团的表面活性剂的水解导致了这些基团的分裂,因而形成有恶臭味的脂肪酸。本申请人已经惊奇地发现,硅氧烷微乳液如聚二甲聚硅氧烷基微乳液能有效地阻止臭味的形成。
本发明的这些浸渍组合物可能牵涉PH值,尽管优选具有相对较低的PH值,例如约2-6.5的PH值,优选约2.5-4.5。

进行研究来评价硅氧烷和其它物质对沉积在小毛巾产品上的低pH羟基羧酸的稳定性和减轻其粘性的影响。除了在特别用量下由表II列出的物质来代替聚二甲聚硅氧烷醇微乳液,小毛巾被浸有基本上与实施例1相似的制剂。用量为4克的制剂浸渍入每一个小毛巾(1.8克重;长8英寸宽6英寸大小)。稳定性指的是浸渍小毛巾的液体的相的相容性。评价为“好”代表均相液体,“可以”代表仅有少量的上层乳状物沉淀的液体,“差”代表有显著的相分离。通过培训过的评价者来评价粘性,并用手指触摸感觉来测量。

几乎所有的非硅氧烷物质对改善沉积的羟基羧酸的粘性没有有利的影响。聚二甲聚硅氧烷乳液对除去粘性起了很好的作用。然而,这些乳液赋予了该流体配方很差的稳定性。只有聚二甲聚硅氧烷的微乳液既保留有好的物理稳定性,同时又能有效地抵抗粘性。

Claims (11)
1.一种小毛巾产品,其包括:
(a)水不溶性的衬底;
(b)浸渍衬底的化妆品组合物,其含有:
(i)α和β-羟基羧酸;
(ii)硅氧烷微乳液;
(iii)在水中具有的pH不高于约6.5的组合物。
2.根据权利要求1的小毛巾产品,其中α-羟基羧酸选自乙醇酸、乳酸、羟基辛酸及其混合物。
3.根据权利要求1或2的小毛巾产品,其中化妆品组合物的pH范围为约2.0-6.0。
4.根据权利要求1或2的小毛巾产品,其中化妆品组合物的pH范围为约3.5-4.5。
5.根据前述任一项权利要求的小毛巾产品,其中硅氧烷微乳液是聚二甲聚硅氧烷醇微乳液。
6.根据权利要求5的小毛巾产品,其中微乳液中的硅氧烷物质的粒度范围为约0.01-500nm。
7.根据权利要求5的小毛巾产品,其中微乳液中的硅氧烷物质的粒度范围为约5-50nm。
8.根据前述任一项权利要求的小毛巾产品,其中羟基羧酸的存在量是浸渍用媒介物的约0.1-15重量%。
9.根据前述任一项权利要求的小毛巾产品,其中微乳液的的存在量是浸渍用媒介物的约0.1-20重量%。
10.根据前述任一项权利要求的小毛巾产品,其中β-羟基羧酸是水杨酸。
11.一种小毛巾产品,其包括:
(a)水不溶性的衬底;
(b)浸渍在衬底上的组合物,其包括:
(i)α或β-羟基羧酸;
(ii)含有C10-C22脂肪酸基团的可在低pH水解的表面活性剂;和
(iii)在水中具有的pH不高于约6.8的组合物。
