用来对碟片进行热处理的方法和装置
本发明涉及一种用来对碟片进行热处理的方法,此法是先将碟片放置在一载体上,然后对碟片进行照射。
本发明还涉及一种根据所述方法对一碟片进行热处理的装置。
在国际专利申请WO97/36738中揭示了这样一种方法和装置,将一包括两碟片构件和其间具有一粘结层的碟片放置在一载体上,然后用紫外光进行照射,所述粘结层则经照射而固化,所述紫外光也可将所述载体加热,因此当将一新的碟片放置在所述载体上时,由于放置在所述载体上的所述碟片构件和另一碟片构件之间存在温差,因此会使所述碟片发生翘曲。由于将所述碟片放置在所述载体上和对所述碟片进行照射之间的时间太短,因此不能使所述碟片的温度得以稳定。本发明的目的在于提供一种可避免所述碟片发生不理想翘曲的方法。
本发明的目的是这样来实现的,即,在照射过程中将所述载体保持在一所需温度上。
藉助对载体的温度进行控制,也就可以对所述碟片的翘曲加以控制。
在本发明方法的一较佳实施例中,所述载体的所需温度大约是所述碟片放置在所述载体上之前的温度。
以此方式,所述碟片不会受到温度的变化。
但是,如果希望有一定受控程度的翘曲,例如为了在下一步骤过程中对倾斜翘曲进行弥补,则可以将所述载体的温度保持在另一预定值。
在本发明方法的另一较佳实施例中,所述碟片包括两个碟片构件和位于所述两碟片构件之间的粘结层,并藉助用紫外光照射使所述粘结层固化。
由于利用了真空,因此可将碟片平整地保持在所述载体上。而且,由于所述碟片和所述载体之间具有良好的接触,整个碟片上的热传递功能是相同的。
下面将结合附图对本发明进行具体描述,其中:

在各附图中,凡是相同的编号均表示相同的构件。
图1示意性地示出了一呈DVD形式的一数字数据存储碟片,即,一所谓的DVD-9型碟片的数字录像碟片1。这种碟片1包括两个碟片构件2、3,每一碟片构件的厚度均为0.6毫米,直径约为120毫米,并且均由诸如聚碳酸酯之类的透明塑料材料制成。每一碟片构件2、3在彼此面对面的侧面上分别具有一信息层4、5,所述信息层具有一些深度约为0.1微米的短凹坑6和长凹坑7。所述上碟片构件3的信息层5镀敷有对于激光来说是半反射的例如铝、金或氮化硅(SiN)层,而所述下碟片构件2上的信息层4则被制造成能完全反射。所述的两个碟片构件2、3藉助一较薄的粘结层8(大约40-70微米)而连接在一起,其折射率应与所述两碟片构件(聚碳酸酯)的反射率互补,以避免在激光对所述上信息层5进行读出时出现折射误差。在图1中,所示的光束9是聚焦在下面的半反射层4上。
在图2中示出了本发明的装置10,它具有:一紫外光源11、一快门机构12和一位于所述快门机构和紫外光源11的另一侧上的石英板13。一载体14位于所述石英板13下,图3中更具体地示出了所述载体。所述载体14包括三个互连板15、16、17,真空槽18和水槽19位于所述三个互连板之间。真空通道20与所述真空槽18相连。这些真空通道20开口于朝向紫外光源11的那一侧面。真空槽18借助一管道21与一真空泵(未示)相连。水槽19与一进水管22和一出水管(未示)相连。所述载体14设置有一包括四个指状物24的定心装置23,所述指状物可以沿径向移动,以便使所述两个碟片构件2、3在板15上相对于彼此而定中心。所述载体14可以藉助一步进电动机(未示)而围绕中心轴线25、沿箭头P1所示方向和反方向旋转。
下面将更具体地描述本发明装置10的工作情况。
在一分开的工站中,以一种例如可用国际专利申请WO97/36737中揭示的方式将所示粘结层8涂敷在所述两键盘2、3之间。在所述粘结层散布在所述两碟片构件之间后,将碟片构件置于定中心装置23周围,藉助使指状物24向外径向移动而使所述两碟片构件彼此定中心。然后借助真空通道20、利用真空将碟片构件2吸附在板15上。所述真空的低压可以在0.1-0.8巴的范围内。与此同时,借助进水管22使水进入水槽19内,由此板15、16、17将获得一预定温度,例如碟片构件2、4在被放入装置10内之前的温度。水温将例如在20-45°的范围内。一旦碟片1被平整且牢固地置在板15上,载体14将沿箭头P1所示方向旋转并接通紫外光源11,从而由于载体14的旋转,将使碟片1受到均匀的照射。所述紫外光从上方穿过快门机构12和石英板13而照射到碟片1上。
在粘结层8第一次固化之后,将所述碟片1放置在一输出转台上。利用一间隙测量装置对碟片1的定心作业加以控制,那些不合格的碟片1将放置在一废品主轴上。在对碟片1的对中程度进行检查之后,在一第二固化工站内进行最终的固化作业,所述第二固化工站包括两盏灯,此站可以借助一快门机构使所述碟片自两侧露出并将各石英板遮护住。在所述第二固定工站,所述载体可以是透明的,与国际专利申请WO97/36738中所描述的相类似,或者仅在外边缘处对所述碟片加以支承。如果是这种情况,则需要使所述外边缘内的粘接剂在第一工站完全固化。
载体14的温度可藉助一些传感器(未示)来测量,并可根据载体14的所需温度,改变流过水槽19的水量和/或水的温度。
图4示出了本发明装置的另一实施例的剖视图,它设置有一定心装置26,以取代定心装置23。所述定心装置26包括一圆筒体27,它具有一较薄的壁面,所述圆筒体由一位于一侧的端盖28所封盖,并且在其另一侧与一管道29连通。借助管道29,可以使一流体(fluidum)流入由圆筒体27和端盖28所形成的腔室30内,从而可以根据流体的压力,使圆柱体27膨胀,并使所述两碟片2、3彼此定中心。
由于采用了本发明的方法,可以使DVD碟片的角偏差较好地落在DVD的技术要求范围内。
还可以采用除水之外的另一种流体来对载体14的温度进行控制。
本发明的装置还可以用来对碟片进行其他的处理,例如在旋转镀敷作业进行处理。
而且,还可以根据本发明方法,对DVD-5、DVD-10以及其它的单个、两个或三个式碟片进行处理。

Claims (10)

1.一种用来对碟片进行热处理的方法,此法是先将碟片放置在一载体上,然后对所述碟片进行照射,其特征在于,在照射过程中,将所述载体保持在一所需温度上。
2.如权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,所述载体的所需温度大约是所述碟片在被放置在所述载体上之前的温度。
3.如权利要求1或2所述的方法,其特征在于,所述碟片包括两个碟片构件和位于所述两碟片构件之间的粘结层,藉助紫外光照射使粘结层固化。
4.如前述任一权利要求所述的方法,其特征在于,藉助真空将所述碟片保持在所述载体上。
5.如前述任一权利要求所述的方法,其特征在于,在对所述碟片进行照射之后,将所述碟片放置在一第二载体上,从而可以从所述载体的两侧对所述碟片进行照射。
6.一种根据前述权利要求之一所述方法对一碟片进行热处理的装置,所述装置包括至少一个载体和用来对所述载体进行照射的装置,其特征在于,所述载体包括至少一个液体沟槽,而所述装置包括用来藉助使所述液体流过所述沟槽来对所述载体的温度进行控制的控制装置。
7.如权利要求6所述的装置,其特征在于,所述载体还设置有至少一个真空槽。
8.如前述任一权利要求所述的装置,其特征在于,所述装置还设置有一紫外光源。
9.如前述任一权利要求所述的装置,其特征在于,所述装置还设置有一碟片定中心机构。
10.如前述任一权利要求所述的装置,其特征在于,所述载体是可以旋转的。
