Abstract

本发明涉及生产稳定的、低粉尘颜料组合物的方法。
生产易于溶解于塑料的低粉尘着色剂颗粒的方法可见于EP-A-0488933,在该方法中将包含0.1到5.0重量%聚乙二醇的着色剂悬浮体干燥形成颗粒。
US-A-2834773公开了特殊的水溶性偶氮染料的固体组合物,其包含加入的多价螯合剂化合物,例如乙二胺四乙酸。
对可以获得无尘或者低粉尘的颜料组合物的方法存在需求,该组合物还是易于倾注的并且是耐摩擦的,并且满足当前的要求,特别是生态要求。
现在已经令人惊奇地发现,本发明的方法实质上满足了上述要求。
本发明因此涉及生产低粉尘颜料组合物的方法,其包括在水中悬浮从颜料制备获得的滤饼或者固体颜料,向其中加入基于颜料组合物重量为0.1到6.0重量%的两性表面活性剂和视需要的其它助剂,然后干燥该含水悬浮体以形成颗粒。
适用于本发明方法的颜料是例如描述于以下文献中的那些:染料索引(Colour Index),第三版(第三次修订版,1987,包括对No.85的补充和修改)中的“颜料”。
在本发明方法中,优选的有机颜料来自以下类别:偶氮、偶氮甲碱、靛类染料、二嗪、喹吖啶酮、酞菁、异二氢吲哚酮(isoindolinone)、苝、perinone、金属配合物、碱性蓝和二酮吡咯并吡咯颜料。
在本发明方法中,特别优选偶氮、偶氮甲碱和酞菁类别的有机金属配合物颜料。

包含颜料和基于颜料组合物重量为0.1到6.0重量%的两性表面活性剂以及视需要的其它助剂的含水悬浮体的造粒优选地使用喷雾-干燥或者流化床造粒工艺来进行。
在优选的实施方案中,包含颜料和基于颜料组合物重量为0.1到6.0重量%的两性表面活性剂的含水悬浮体,在例如转子/定子研磨机和/或玻珠研磨机中均化,形成粒度为1到100μm的分散体。然后将得到的分散体在喷雾干燥机、优选加压喷嘴塔中喷雾干燥,以形成微粒子。

本发明的颜料组合物优选用于着色聚合物颗粒或者热塑性塑料,特别是纤维、颗粒或者模塑制品形式的热塑性塑料。

使用本发明颜料组合物对高分子量有机材料进行着色的过程如下:例如,使用辊筒研磨机、混合设备或者研磨设备将这类颜料组合物与基材混合,使颜料组合物在高分子量物质中精细地分布或者在可能的情况下溶解。然后,按照本身已知的方法,对含有混合的颜料组合物的高分子量有机材料进行加工,例如压延、压塑、挤出、涂层、纺丝、浇铸或者注塑,结果使着色的材料获得了最终形状。本发明颜料组合物的混合还可以刚好在实际加工步骤之前进行,例如通过连续计量,直接进入挤出机的进口区,颜料组合物和造粒的或者粉末状的高分子量有机材料以及视需要的其它成分、例如添加剂,仅仅在加工前才混合组分。然而,通常优选将本发明的颜料组合物预先混合到高分子量有机材料中,因为可以获得更均匀地着色的基材。
为了生产非刚性的模塑制品或者降低脆性,常常希望在成型之前在高分子化合物中加入所谓的增塑剂。可以用作增塑剂的有例如磷酸、邻苯二甲酸或者癸二酸的酯。在本发明方法中,增塑剂可以在加入着色剂以前或者以后加入。根据需要还可以加入其它成分,例如填料或者干燥剂。为了提高耐光性性能,有利地将UV吸收剂与要用本发明组合物着色的塑料或者聚合物颗粒混合。
本发明还涉及上述本发明组合物的用途。
以下实施例用来举例说明本发明。除非另外说明,份是重量份和百分数是重量百分率。温度以摄氏温度给出。重量份和体积份之间的关系与克和立方厘米之间的相同。
实施例1:
在装备有搅拌器的装置中,将包含97.5重量份以下通式的金属配合物颜料的200.0重量份的含水着色剂滤饼
与1.6重量份的以下通式化合物
和382.4重量份的水在强烈搅拌下在室温下均匀地混合,然后在Fryma研磨机中研磨。然后使用具有二元喷嘴的NIRO中试喷雾器,在150℃的入口温度、105到110℃的出口温度和1kg/h的水蒸发能力下将均匀的悬浮体喷雾干燥。
获得了低粉尘的、自由流动的微粒子,其具有5到15μm的平均粒度和大约2重量%的残余水含量。
实施例2:
在装备有搅拌器的装置中,将包含97.5重量份通式(1)的金属配合物颜料的200.0重量份的含水着色剂滤饼与1.6重量份的以下通式化合物
和382.4重量份的水在强烈搅拌下在室温下均匀地混合,然后在Fryma研磨机中研磨。然后使用具有二元喷嘴的NIRO中试喷雾器,在150℃的入口温度、105到110℃的出口温度和1kg/h的水蒸发能力下将均匀的悬浮体喷雾干燥。
获得了低粉尘的、自由流动的微粒子,其具有5到15μm的平均粒度和大约2重量%的残余水含量。
Claims (7)
1.使用金属配合物颜料生产低粉尘颜料组合物的方法,其包括在水中悬浮从金属配合物颜料制备获得的滤饼或者偶氮、偶氮甲碱和酞菁类别的固体金属配合物颜料,向其中加入基于颜料组合物重量为0.1到6.0重量%的两性表面活性剂和非必要的其它助剂,然后干燥该含水悬浮体以形成颗粒;
所述表面活性剂选自二亚乙基-三氨基-五乙酸、次氮基三乙酸、N-羟乙基-二氨基-三乙酸、1,3-二氨基-2-丙醇-四乙酸,其为游离酸形式或者它们的钠盐形式、通式(CH3)3N+CH2COO-的化合物、通式(NaOOC-CH3)2N[(CHCH3)COONa]的化合物、以下通式的化合物:
