Abstract

Description

本发明涉及锯片,更具体地,涉及用于圆锯的具有凹坑的锯片。
许多圆锯片具有平坦的或平面的半径表面。此表面典型地与被锯切的的工件接触,特别是如果当在锯切过程中给予工件侧向载荷的时候。从而在使用这种平坦锯片时会产生相当程度的摩擦。这种摩擦当然地会产生必须消散的热量。再者,由于锯片的侧面与被锯切的工件接触,锯片会使工件振动或与工件相夹紧,使工件的锯切更为困难。
本发明的一个目的是提供一种改进的圆锯片。
本发明的另一个目的是提供这样一种锯片,其锯片为刚性的。
本发明的另一个目的是提供这样一种锯片,其与正在锯切的工件的摩擦被减小。

根据本发明,一般地说,提供了一种改进的圆锯片。所述锯片具有一锯片体,具有一第一平面半径表面,一第二平面半径表面,以及一圆周。多个切割齿从锯片体向外延伸。齿与锯片体园周的相交处构成了齿根。一固定孔位于锯片体的中央,用于将锯片固定到旋转轴上。锯片还具有多个凹坑,位于锯片的两侧表面上。凹坑最好由冷加工在锯片上形成。每个凹坑包括一个高于锯片体的周边隆起。当在锯切中对工件施加侧载荷时,隆起接触锯口的壁。凹坑最好形成为凹坑外圈,凹坑中圈和凹坑内圈,这些凹坑的圈相互同心并与固定孔同心。凹坑外圈位于锯齿的根部。在标准的7 1/2”锯片上,凹坑内圈与凹坑外圈大约相距0.75”;并且凹坑中圈居中地位于凹坑内、外圈之间。或者,各凹坑圈的半径与锯片半径的比值对应于外圈,中圈和内圈分别为0.9,0.8,和0.7。内圈的各凹坑分别形成在和外圈的各凹坑相同的各条半径上,并且中圈的各凹坑均匀地分布在相邻的内圈凹坑和外圈凹坑之间。在图示例的锯片中,凹坑的隆起部具有大约0.125”的直径,隆起与锯片的表面具有大约.005”的高度以及凹坑与锯片的表面的深度具有大约.020”到.030”的数量级。

本发明的一示例的锯片1一般地示于图中,包括一具有第一平面半径表面3,一第二平面半径表面5的锯片体,以及一圆周。多个锯齿7从锯片体的圆周向外延伸。锯齿7包括位于其端部的切割尖9。一固定孔11形成在锯片的中央,使得锯片1可以如传统一样固定在旋转轴上。
如可从图中看到的,表面3和5上设有多个凹坑13。这些凹坑最好形成三排A,B及C,如虚线所示,其形成或限定了三个径向分开的,与固定孔11同心的圆圈。锯片体表面3上的凹坑最好与锯片体表面5上的凹坑同轴。这样,锯片表面3和表面5上的凹坑最好1∶1对应。
凹坑外圈C基本位于锯齿7的根部附近。中圈B位于与外圈C和内圈A相等距离处。圈A和圈C的凹坑形成在相同的各条半径上,也就是说,一条通过固定孔11中心和圈A上的一凹坑的中心的直线也会通过圈C上的一凹坑的中心。中圈B上的凹坑与圈A和C上的凹坑相偏离。最好,圈B的凹坑大约在圈A上的两个相邻的凹坑的中间。对一个71/2”直径(从切割尖到切割尖)的锯片,各圈的凹坑直径最好为大约0.125”并以大约18°的弧长分隔开。凹坑的间隔可根据锯齿的数目和锯片的直径改变。圈A和C最好以大约0.75”分开,并且圈B距圈A和C大约为0.375”。圈C具有大约3.125”的半径,圈B具有大约2.75”的半径,而圈A具有大约2.375”的半径。换句话说,凹坑圈直径相对于锯片直径的比值,对于圈C,B和A来说分别大约为0.89,0.79,和0.68。
图2中更详细地示出凹坑13。凹坑13最好由冷加工在锯片上形成,锯片可由碳钢制成,这一类锯片通常是由碳钢制成的。在成型凹坑时,一部分锯片材料位移到高于锯片表面以形成围绕凹坑的隆起15。所述的凹坑的0.125”的直径就是凹坑的隆起的直径。隆起15由向下的坡形表面17围绕,坡形表面17从隆起向锯片的表面3和5延伸。在图示实施例的这个锯片中,用120吨的力可形成完美的从锯片的表面起.020”-.030”深的凹坑,以及高于锯片表面.005”的隆起。
用冷加工形成凹坑使锯片硬化。硬化的锯片在使用中振动较小,因而可得到较好的切口。再者,其需要的运转功率较小。当在锯切过程中加以侧向载荷时,锯片体的表面趋向于由隆起将其与被切木料中形成的切口的边缘分隔开。这减小了摩擦和在没有凹坑时会产生的热量。由于热使得锯片卷曲,减少生热减少了锯片卷曲的趋势,延长了锯片的使用寿命。凹坑还增加锯片的表面面积。增加的表面面积会帮助散发锯片使用中产生的热。与有凹坑的高尔夫球一样,凹坑还使得锯片表面上产生更多的空气层流(与平坦锯片相比)。这减少了使用锯片时产生的噪声,特别是当这种性质与锯片增加的刚性结合起来时。
由于在所附权利要求范围内的变形对于本领域技术人员来说是显而易见的,以上描述仅为了说明的目的,并不打算作为限制。例如,尽管锯片两侧的凹坑最好同轴,如图2所示,表面5上的凹坑可以径向或周向或既径向又周向地与表面3的凹坑偏移。锯片一个表面的凹坑也可以比另一个表面的多。各圈的凹坑不需要是同一尺寸,圈B也不需要与圈A和C等距。再者,各凹坑圈可相距较远,也可较近。凹坑位于一个限制圈上并不是必须的。凹坑也可以是其它形状,例如,椭圆的,多边形的,倒圆锥形的或锥台形,倒棱锥形或棱台形,或者甚至是不规则形。凹坑的数目,间距,形状,尺寸(平面呈圆形时的直径)以及凹坑的深度,隆起的高度,以及成型凹坑的力,也就是说,冷加工的量,均可以根据锯片和齿的直径,轴向厚度,成分和结构而变化,并且基于上述公开,其适当的措施对那些本领域人员来说都是显而易见的。这些例子仅是为了说明。

Claims (18)

1.一种圆锯片,所述锯片具有一锯片体以及多个切割齿,从锯片体向外延伸;所述锯片体具有一第一径向表面,一第二径向表面,以及一圆周,所述齿与锯片体圆周的相交处形成齿的根部;其特征在于,包括多个形成在所述锯片体的所述表面上的凹坑,凹坑各包括一周边隆起,其延伸到锯片体表面的上部。
2.根据权利要求1的改进,其特征在于,凹坑由冷加工成型在锯片上。
3.根据权利要求1的改进,其特征在于,凹坑至少形成一个凹坑圈,所述至少一个凹坑圈与所述锯片的中心同心。
4.根据权利要求3的改进,其特征在于,所述至少一个凹坑圈包括凹坑外圈和与外圈径向向内分开的凹坑内圈。
5.根据权利要求4的改进,其特征在于,内圈凹坑与所述外圈凹坑偏移。
6.根据权利要求5的改进,其特征在于,内圈凹坑大约位于外圈相邻的凹坑中间。
7.根据权利要求4的改进,其特征在于,所述至少一个凹坑圈还包括一最内凹坑圈,其与凹坑内圈径向向内分开。
8.根据权利要求7的改进,其特征在于,最内圈的各凹坑和最外圈的各凹坑位于共同的各半径上。
9.根据权利要求1的改进,其特征在于,凹坑具有大约0.125”的直径。
10.根据权利要求3的改进,其特征在于,至少一个凹坑圈邻近切割齿的根部。
11.根据权利要求3的改进,其特征在于,第一表面的凹坑与第二表面的凹坑同轴。
12.一种圆锯片,所述锯片包括一锯片体,其具有一第一表面,一第二表面,以及一周向边缘,多个切割齿从锯片体边缘径向延伸,锯齿与锯片体边缘的相交部形成所述齿的根部,多个凹坑形成在所述锯片体的各所述表面上,所述凹坑各包括一周边隆起,其延伸到锯片体表面的以上,在使用锯片时,所述隆起接触工件,将锯片表面与形成在工件上的切口边缘分开;所述凹坑至少形成一个凹坑外圈,一凹坑中圈以及一凹坑内圈,所述各凹坑圈相互,并与锯片体的边缘同心。

14.如权利要求12的圆锯片,其特征在于,凹坑内圈与凹坑外圈相隔大约0.75”。
