Abstract
触发移动设备中事件的方法,此方法包括计算此设备的位置、计算所计算出的位置与预定点间的距离、当计算出的距离不超过预定的解除保险距离时解除此设备的保险、以及当计算出的距离不超过预定的触发距离或当计算出的距离增加或是当计算出的距离不小于解除保险距离时使此事件触发。
Description
本发明涉及根据移动设备的位置或是移动设备离预定利益点(POI)的计算距离来触发移动设备中事件的方法。
本发明可具体但并非专门应用于触发公共运输交通工具如飞机、公共汽车、火车与渡船中的音频和/或视频系统。本发明的系统还可具体应用于出租车或自用车,或可由步行者携带。本发明的系统也可用于车队管理。
应用“全球定位卫星”(GPS)的系统已公开于Pioneer电子公司名下的欧洲专利申请91310888.2(公布号0511447)中。在这种系统中,汽车的位置由GPS追踪,而当汽车进入预定的区域内时即触发一事件。具体地说,会播放一段特殊的乐曲并可以由视频或音频提供地区的特殊信息如服务机构等。这种触发在此称作为“实质区域触发”,由图1与图2说明。
本发明的一个方面涉及到在移动设备中触发一事件的方法,此方法包括:
计算移动设备的位置;
计算已计算出的位置与预定点间的距离;
当计算出的距离未超过预定的解除保险距离时,解除移动设备的保险;以及
当计算出的距离不超过预定的触发距离时触发此事件,或是当计算出的距离增加时触发此事件,或是当计算出的距离不小于解除保险距离时触发此事件。
此计算出的距离最好可增加一有限量而不触发此事件。在最佳实施例中,这一有限量与计算出的距离成正比。
此方法最好还包括确定移动设备的行驶方向,且只当此设备是依预定方向或依预定方向范围行驶时才触发此事件。这样的方法已知为方向副触发法,但也可用根据参变量如高度、日期、昼夜、时刻、气象与速度的其它副触发法。
在最佳实施例中,移动设备包括手持或车载的音频和/或视频系统,而事件则是播放音频和/或视频存储器。但是,这种事件可以是任何其它的内容,例如光线的变暗、接通“请系紧座位带”的信号,或是将位置或其它数据传送回基地台。
在本发明的另一个方面,涉及到这样一种触发移动设备中事件的方法,此方法包括:
计算移动设备的位置;
当计算出的位置进入预定的解除保险区时解除移动设备的保险;以及
当计算出的位置进入预定的触发区时触发此事件,或是当计算出的位置离开解除保险区时触发此事件。
在本发明的又一个方面中涉及一种设备,此设备包括:
用来计算此设备位置的装置;
用来计算所计算出的位置与一预定点间距离的装置;
当计算出的距离不超过预定的解除保险距离时用来解除此设备保险的装置;以及
当计算出的距离不超过预定的触发距离时,或是当计算的距离增加了时,或是当计算出的距离不小于解除保险距离时,用来触发事件的装置;
本发明再一个方面中涉及到的设备包括:
用来计算此设备位置的装置;
用来当所计算出的位置进入预定的解除保险区时解除此设备保险的装置;以及
当计算出的位置进入预定的触发区,或是当计算出的位置离开解除保险区时,用来触发事件的装置。
在本发明的又另一个方面中,涉及这样的在移动设备中触发事件的方法,此方法包括:
根据1)此设备的位置与2)参变量的值来触发事件。
上述参变量最好是移动设备行驶的高度、方向或速度,或是昼夜、日期、气象或时刻。
尤为最好的是,此参变量为移动设备的行驶方向。这样,当移动设备在预定区域内并依预定方向行驶时,将触发此事件。
为了能较容易地理解本发明并把它投入实际应用,可参考以下附图,其中
图1是现有技术的实质区域触发的示意图;
图2是现有技术的实质区域触发的示意图;
图3是本发明的无触发区的触发示意图;

图9是非圆形的解除保险与触发区的示意图。
GPS位置信息由于多种原因漂移,美国国际部有意识地将误差加到此系统上以降低其对于非美国的军事用户的精度。这意味着当GPS的接收器是固定的时,它的计算位置可以从其真实位置漂移高达100米。由于电离层和对流层的时延以及多路化等原因,还可能发生其它误差。
差分GPS(DGPS)已设计成用来消除这种误差,能使精度达到约1米,DGPS实际上是射频(RF)调制解调器,直接与GPS通信来校正上述误差。但DGPS是能用于地球上的一些选定区域,主要是大的城市及其周围区域。
这种系统在Pioneer电子公司名下公开于欧洲专利中请91310888.2(公告号0511447)中,它当车辆的计算位置位于预定的触发区内时(见图1与2),触发一事件。这被称作为“实质区域触发”。
对于以GPS接收机为基础的车辆,它可以有理由以10~100km/hr间的任意速度行驶,而离POI的实际预定触发距离可以为100米,以保证在已经过POI后或在到达POI之前太久时不使事件触发。这意味着围绕POI限定出一半径为100米的圆形触发区,如图1所示。
在DGPS无效的区域内,上述圆形触发区的边界可以有高达100米的漂移。这样,在最坏的情形,当GPS接收机的实际位置距POI为200米或0米时,有可能使事件触发。
要是此触发区减小到10米半径如图2所示时,由于此设备可能不会进入到自然也会漂移的较小触发区中,则事件完全有可能不被触发。
现在参看图3,其中例示了依据本发明触发的解除保险区。在此情形下,当设备进入此解除保险区后计算出的离POI的距离增加时,使事件触发。这种触发特别适用于移动设备遵循的路线不是常常一致的情形。例如,要是此设备安装在渡船上,而客观环境又要求此渡船必须在到达POI之前绕离开POI,然后此事件在与该POI最为接近时即触发。
再来参考图4,其中例示了具有解除保险区和触发区两者的触发系统。在此情形下,要是计算出的距离增加但在解除保险区内时,或要是移动设备进入触发区,就会使事件触发。
在另一实施例中,不存在触发区,事件是当此设备存在于解除保险区中时触发。这种情形可以用在例如当渡船已离开它的停泊处,而它所离开的精确停泊处以及它离开此停泊处的方向又是可变时。这种情形下的停泊区将是解除保险区,而在渡船驶离时将使事件触发。
参看图5,趋近的方向可以用作副触发器。这时的事件只当设备从一预定方向或一组预定方向趋近时才使事件触发。这种情形特别适用于既定的路线在一次巡回中多次紧邻地通过POI。
参考图6,当移动设备安装于飞机或类似运载工具上时,可应用高度副触发器。例如,当你事实上是在悉尼机场上空的等待航线中时,最好不要播放“您正在悉尼机场着陆”。可以采用其它的根据时间、日期、速度或其它参量的副触发器,使得只当这些参量被满足时才触发事件。
参看图7,其中示明了应用有所谓的“步进率”的系统。在此系统中,事件不会在计算出的距离增加之后立即被触发,因为这种增加可能是由于GPS的位置数据漫游或是由于设备本身漫游所致。因此,这种系统会在触发事件之前暂停。此事件只当上述距离所增加的量超过容许的偏差量后才触发。这一容许偏差量则与所计算出的距离成正比,也就是说,当计算出的距离较小时此容许偏差也较小。
图8中例示了扇形区触发。这时,在POI的通道分成四个90°的扇形区,当然也可采用任意个数可变大小的扇形区。因此,当一名步行者从北面的扇形区走来时,他将接收到“在您的‘右方’您将看到…”这样的信息,而当他从南边走来时,他将听到“在您的‘左方’您将看到…”而当他从东面走来时,他将听到“在您的‘正前方’…”。
最后,参看图9,其中示明了非圆形的解除保险与触发区。自然,这样的区域可见任何所需形状。
在本发明的最佳实施例中,此设备包括有移动式音频/视频系统,它安装在渡船、公共汽车或火车上,用来提供例如有关POI、下一个停靠点、到达时间等信息。这一系统也可用于将位置、平均速度等数据发回中央基地。本发明因此也就提供了有效的车队管理工具。
渡船、公共汽车或火车通常遵从确定的路线。在沿着这条路线的某些点,最好是作出这样的音频/视频通知,例如“在您的右方您将看到…”或是“本次列车现在到达中央车站”等。此系统保证这类通知在正确的位置作出而不需对司机提任何要求。自然,司机可在有需要时超控此系统或另作其它说明。此系统可包括有倒数定时器或测距器,在要作出下一地点的触发通知时,给司机指明。因此,司机可在不中断下一地点的触发通知前提下作出自己的说明。
各种存储器最好在有关的通知后包括填空的音乐。当到达下一个地点时,此填充的音乐便自动减弱而作出下一次通知。
在某些情况下最好是“等待后播放”。例如在隧道等不能从GPS接收的地点可能需要有一种能在该处播放的特殊存储器。在这样的环境下,此种存储器可以在车辆进入隧道后被触发,但在触发与播放之间会有30秒延迟。
此系统最好能对任何业已播放过的存储器作出标志,使这些存储器只能播放一次。
上述种种通知对音频/视频存储器来说是预记录的,而这些通知应播放的POI是注明了的。
这样的信息以及路线数据是存储好的。自然,此系统也可与非固定的路线匹配。
上述音频/视频系统包括确定其位置的DGPS系统。
此系统也是为丢失卫星接收时准备的。在GPS失效的环境下,可用时间测量装置、距离测量装置以及路线数据中之一或多个来估算此系统的近似位置。例如公共汽车可以包括一转速计,由于接收丢失而可计数车轮的转数,因而能够算出距离。将这一距离沿预定路线加到最终的GPS位置上就能对现下的位置作出良好的估算结果。
旅途中的每个人可有个人的音频/视频系统,而音频/视频存储器可以有多种语言。旅途中的人可以选择自己需要的语言。类似地,这些存储器也可以是许多个个人或具有不同的推荐者来适合不同的嗜好。
这种系统可以用来保证在旅途的正确地点举行文娱活动如放电影。
这种系统包括时钟或时间源和来自卫星的数据信息,使得能作出有时间特征的通知,例如在离堪培拉还有15分钟时,有关的通知可以是:“从现在起15分钟后我们将到达堪培拉”。类似的,此系统可以是包括其它的数据、时间、日子、气象的专门信息。例如通知可以是“早晨好(时间),欢迎在寒冷(气象)的冬天(日期)来堪培拉”。同样,与某些日子相关的涉及到旅游者感兴趣的一些存储信息也可以压缩到这些日子中。此系统也可包括说明速度的通知,例如“您正以90公里/小时的速度行驶,应提醒您这一地段的速度限制为80公里/小时。”
这类信息可以存储于任何适当的媒体中并可以定期更新,例如通过RF链路。这样,包括新闻或当前时势的存储信息可以定期地更新,同时可以根据需要更换以其它编程序的材料。
在本系统中,音频/视频存储器存储于CDROM中,数据从其中以大于所需输出速率的速率输送到RAM缓冲器中,由此再输送到D/A变换器中。
如上所述,此种系统可以用作车队管理工具。例如,可以选择具有良好的汽车声接收能力的地点,使通过此地点的公共汽车或卡车可经调制解调向基地返回位置、平均速度、油耗等信息。这样就避免了需要基地来查询可能在查询时已越出了通信范围的车辆。
自然应该认识到,虽然在上面已给出了本发明的说明性例子,但内行的人易知的所有这类或其它的改型应认为属于在此陈述的本发明的宽广范围之内。
Claims (10)
1.触发移动设备中事件的方法,此方法包括以下步骤:
计算此设备的位置;
计算上面计算出的位置与预定点间的距离;
当计算出的距离不超过预定的解除保险距离时,解除此设备的保险;
当计算出的距离不超过预定的触发距离,或当计算出的距离增加时,或是当计算出的距离不小于解除保险距离时,使事件触发。
2.权利要求1所述的触发移动设备中事件的方法,其中计算出的距离可增加一有限量而不触发此事件。
3.权利要求2所述的触发移动设备中事件的方法,其中上述有限量与计算出的距离成正比。
4.权利要求1所述的触发移动设备中事件的方法,其中此方法还包括确定所述设备行驶方向的步骤,并只当此设备沿预定方向或预定的一组方向行驶时才触发此事件。
5.权利要求1所述的触发移动设备中事件的方法,其中此方法还包括确定参变量的值的方法,并见当这一参变量的值与预定的一个或一组值匹配时才触发此事件。
6.权利要求1所述的触发移动设备中事件的方法,其中上述参变量日期、昼夜、时间、气象或所述设备的高度。
7.权利要求1所述的触发移动设备中事件的方法,其中上述事件是播放音频和/或视频存储器。
8.触发移动设备中事件的方法,此方法包括下述步骤:
计算所述设备的位置;
当计算出的位置进入预定的解除保险区内时解除此设备的保险;
当计算出的位置进入预定的触发区或当计算出的位置离开此解除保险区时,触发此事件。
9.设备,此设备包括:
用来计算此设备位置的装置;
用来计算所计算出的位置与预定点之间距离的装置;
用来当计算出的距离不小于预定的解除保险距离时解除此设备保险的装置,以及
用来当计算出的距离不超过预定的触发距离,或是当计算出的距离增加时,或是当计算出的距离不小于解除保险距离时,触发此事件的装置。
10.设备,此设备包括:
用来计算此设备位置的装置;
用来当计算出的位置进入预定的解除保险区时解除此设备保险的装置;以及
用来当计算出的位置进入预定的触发区或是当计算出的位置离开此解除保险区时触发所述事件的装置。
