Abstract

打印机的光学扫描系统,该系统包括光学扫描单元,该单元使光束沿着与感光带行进方向倾斜成一定角度的方向在环形感光带上进行扫描;反射带,其设置在感光带的边缘区域上,所述边缘区域偏离建立在感光带中部的图像信息记录区;光电检测器,其用于检测从光学扫描单元发出并由反射带反射的光束;和系统控制器,其用于接收电信号并控制光学扫描单元的光束发射。即使扫描前缘处在图像信息记录区域内也不会受感光带缺损边缘的影响。

Description

打印机的光学 扫描系统
本发明涉及打印机的光学扫描系统,更确切地说,涉及这样一种打印机的光学扫描系统,其中光束在设于感光带中部的图像记录区域内重复扫描。
参照图1示出的普通打印机,在感光带14的环路周围与环路相隔预定距离处设有复位单元15、光学扫描单元30、显影单元20、干燥单元24和转印单元25,其中所述的感光带14是环绕三个辊11、12和13的光敏介质。
当打印机工作时,光学扫描单元30向通过复位单元15的感光带14发射光束。通过所发射的光束在感光带14上形成静电潜象并通过由显影单元20提供的显影液将图像显影。在光学扫描单元30和显影单元20的作用下形成彩色图像。所述扫描单元30发射具有不同颜色信息的光束而显影单元20借助相应颜色的显影材料对图像进行显影。由显影材料在感光带14上形成的彩色图像在感光带14环行的过程中通过干燥单元24并首先转印到通过与感光带14局部接合而转动的转印辊26上。接着,通过转印辊26和压辊27的转动将转印辊26上的图像转印到打印纸28上,在输入打印纸28并使打印纸前进时转印辊26和压辊27通过彼此接合而转动。
图2示出了按上述原理工作的现有打印机的传统光学扫系统。在图2中,光学扫描系统具有光学扫描单元30、光电检测器34和系统控制器35。沿在箭头所示方向运行的感光带14的主扫描方向进行光束扫描的光学扫描单元30包括光源31、旋转多面镜32和透镜单元33。在此,主扫描方向指的是感光带14的宽度方向,或是垂直于感光带14行进方向的方向,而且辅助扫描方向是感光带14的行进方向,该方向垂直于主扫描方向。光电检测器34检测由光学扫描单元30发射和在感光带14的边缘扫描的光束。系统控制器35利用光电检测器34在检测光束时的脉冲输出同步启动与在感光带14上建立的图像信息记录区D的实像信息相应的光束扫描。也就是说,当从光学扫描单元30发出的光束到达感光带14的边缘时,系统控制器35确定从光电检测器34接收的脉冲信号的下降沿。然后,在光束从感光带14的边缘向图像信息记录区D扫描时,系统控制器35驱动光源31发出与图像信息相应的光学信号。
然而,由于与图像信息相应的光学信号是在参照从光电检测器34输出的脉冲信号下降沿设定的延迟时间之后从光源31发出的,所以当感光带14的边缘出现有缺陷的不规则部分时,在图像信息记录区D内扫描的光束前缘也变得不规则,即,它们沿辅助扫描方向变得彼此不平行。
为了解决上述问题,本发明的一个目的是提供一种打印机的光学扫描系统,该系统能使扫描前缘在图像信息记录区域内保持彼此平行而不会受感光带上有缺陷的边缘线之影响。
因此,为了达到上述目的,提供了这样一种打印机的光学扫描系统,其包括光学扫描单元,该单元使光束沿着与感光带行进方向倾斜成一定角度的方向在环形感光带上进行扫描;反射带,其设置在感光带的边缘区域上,所述边缘区域偏离建立在感光带中部的图像信息记录区,而且反射带沿感光带的行进方向形成直线状以反射入射的光束;光电检测器,其用于检测从光学扫描单元发出并由反射带反射的光束,而且输出与测到的光束相应的电信号并将其作为光学扫描单元的扫描同步信号;和系统控制器,其用于接收电信号并控制光学扫描单元的光束发射。
通过参照附图对优选实施例所作的详细说明将使本发明的上述目的和优点变得更明显。
图1是表示普通打印机的剖面图;
图2是表示传统光学扫描系统的透视图;
图3是表示本发明所述光学扫描系统的透视图。
参照表示本发明所述光学扫描系统的图3,在光源41的前面设有在主扫描方向上反射输入光的旋转多面镜42。在旋转多面镜42和感光带46之间设有透镜单元43。把具有本发明特征的反射带47以直线形式设置在感光带46上图像信息记录区D之外的位置上。把光电检测器44布置在能接收到由反射带47反射的光的位置上。反射带47是用与感光带46具有不同反射率的材料制成的。
在光源41和旋转多面镜42之间沿光路设置了使从光源41输入的光束变成平行光的准直透镜(未示出),并沿光路设置了在主扫描方向上传输光束而在辅助扫描方向上会聚光束的柱状透镜(未示出)。通过由系统控制器45控制的驱动马达(未示出)使具有多个反射表面的旋转多面镜42转动。伴随着旋转多面镜42的转动,从反射表面上反射的每个光束产生周期性反射。
用于校正由旋转多面镜42直到感光带46反射的每个光束的光程差和将输入光束聚焦在主扫描线上的透镜单元43由至少一个或多个f-θ透镜构成。
下面将描述具有上述结构的光学扫描系统的工作情况。
从光源41沿一个方向发出的光束在主扫描方向上通过均速转动的旋转多面镜42和透镜单元43对感光带46进行扫描。在此过程中,随着从光源41发出的和由旋转多面镜42反射的光束反射角的连续变化,落在感光带46上的光点沿着主扫描方向从感光带的一个边缘区移到与之相对的另一个边缘区。当沿主扫描方向扫描的光束在某一时刻到达反射带47时,光电检测器44接收到由反射带47反射的光束并在接收到光束的同时输出与收到的光束相对应的电信号。当从光电检测器44接收到上述电信号时,系统控制器45使光源41暂停工作,计下扫描光束从反射带47到图像信息记录区D所需的时间,然后再次驱动光源41产生与图像信息相应的光信号。
这样,就可以不受感光带46缺损边缘的影响,总能同步启动与在图像信息记录区域D的开始位置上的图像信息相应的光学扫描。
如上所述,在本发明所述的光学扫描系统中,既使是扫描前缘处于图像信息记录区域内,也不会受感光带缺损边缘的影响。

Claims (1)

1.打印机的光学扫描系统,包括:
光学扫描单元,该单元使光束沿着与感光带行进方向倾斜成一定角度的方向在环形感光带上进行扫描;
反射带,其设置在所述感光带的边缘区域上,所述边缘区域偏离建立在所述感光带中部的图像信息记录区,而且反射带沿所述感光带的行进方向形成直线状以反射入射的光束;
光电检测器,其用于检测从所述光学扫描单元发出并由所述反射带反射的光束,而且输出与测到的光束相应的电信号并将其作为所述光学扫描单元的扫描同步信号;和
系统控制器,其用于接收所述电信号并控制所述光学扫描单元的光束发射。
