背景技术
在鞋子制造过程中,需要一些通过粘结剂对若干表面加以粘接的加工步骤。这些表面一旦被粘接,即根据鞋子的具体结构可以或可以不对它们进行缝制。通常,在这类粘接应用场合采用溶解基的粘结剂。要被粘接在一起的表面常常加以洗涤、粗糙等处理,以保证良好的粘接接合。
鞋底是鞋子结构中的一个部件。对某些类型的鞋子是先对鞋底进行模制,然后将鞋底与鞋帮粘接固定。鞋底通常由热塑材料如氨基甲酸乙酯、聚乙烯、氯化物、嵌段共聚物(Kraton)、聚烯烃等注塑模制。在模制步骤之前先在将在模制过程中与鞋底接触的模具表面施以脱模剂。脱模剂至少部分传递到已模制鞋底的表面上。
制造过程的下一个步骤通常是将鞋底装设到鞋帮上。对将施以粘结剂的已模制鞋底的表面进行清洁以去除脱模剂,并可进行打磨以增强粘接力。这个步骤十分关键,这是由于留在鞋底粘结边缘上的任何脱模剂均将污染接合线并引起粘结失效。粘接机在鞋底的外周加以一粘接带。然后使鞋帮的粘接表面与鞋底上的粘结剂接触接合,并加压以保证良好的粘接接合。
发明内容
本发明的鞋底组件包括一外鞋底,一模制到鞋底中(吸收)和模制到鞋底表面(吸附)的能被热活化的粘结剂的薄膜,以及一复盖在该粘结剂上面的防粘薄膜。鞋底本身由现有技术制成。
粘结剂是鞋底的一个组成部分。这就能对模制的鞋底组件进行搬运而无需在粘接步骤之前将粘结剂薄膜或衬里移位。
当在粘接过程的下一步骤中用到模制鞋底时,可方便地将防粘衬里去除,使鞋底上的粘结剂活化并装设到鞋帮上。不需要洗涤或进一步的鞋底准备工作。
粘结剂性能与现有技术粘结剂相同或优于现有技术。粘结剂的化学特性并非关键。对于粘结剂来说,是对各种粘结剂进行选择以使它们具有至少以下特性--一种具有对于表面的亲和力大于粘结剂层内部粘接力的粘结剂,以使基底撕裂而粘结剂接合将仍不破裂。
而且,为使粘结剂适合于用于将外鞋底与鞋帮接合,除在用力拉开时使基底撕裂外,它最好须满足或超过以下的性能试验:
1.在115°-125°F处重新活化。
2.在充分加压之前具有足够的初始粘性或抓紧力以将鞋底与鞋帮粘接而无滑动。
3.加压8秒钟内与鞋帮永久粘接。
4.通过标准抗热试验和防水试验(140°F/95%R.H.,以及48小时浸水)。
5.防油和增塑剂移动;以及
6.通过100,000挠曲循环而无开口。
通常在本发明实践中有用的薄膜粘结剂包括热塑树脂如聚氨基甲酸乙酯、聚烯烃或乙烯乙酸乙烯共聚物。显然,粘结剂的选择是根据打算装设鞋帮的鞋底的成分及鞋帮的成分。
采用例如硅酮、聚乙烯涂覆纸张、聚乙烯或聚丙烯的防粘衬里可用于这里所描述的应用场合,只要该防粘衬里提供与粘结剂面的薄弱接合并且在尽可能薄的同时仍起那样的作用。
以下的鞋底/粘结剂/鞋帮组合被认为适合于本发明的目的:聚氨基甲酸乙酯、聚氯乙烯、嵌段共聚物用于鞋底/聚氨基甲酸乙酯用于粘结剂/聚氨基甲酸乙酯薄膜/皮革、织物或合成材料(聚氯乙烯,氨基甲酸乙酯等)用于鞋帮;聚乙烯、聚丙烯或三元乙丙橡胶(EPDM)混合物用于鞋底/聚烯烃用于粘结剂/聚烯烃薄膜/皮革或织物用于鞋帮;以及乙烯乙酸乙烯酯(EVA)共聚物用于鞋底/乙烯乙酸乙烯酯共聚物或氯化橡胶化合物用于粘结剂/乙烯乙酸乙烯酯薄膜/皮革、织物或非聚氯乙烯(PVC)合成材料用于鞋帮。

具体实施方式
图1为一铺设在防粘纸12上的粘结剂薄膜10的示意图。如下所述,粘结剂薄膜10将已模制鞋底的顶层完全罩复并成为鞋底的一组成部分。
如图2所示,粘结剂薄膜10将已模制鞋底26的整个顶部罩复。该粘结剂以薄膜形式提供,厚度通常为3-7密耳,由溶剂铺设或直接挤到一防粘承载物上。这些涂敷技术在现有技术中已经众所周知。
如图2所示,一注塑模具16由一模腔18和在一分模线24处接合的上下半模20和22组成。上模的表面在27处开有轮廓27以提供一成为鞋底底部的图形或设计。如图所示,28为一注塑口。将带有粘结剂薄膜10的防粘衬里12放置在模具的底部,使粘结剂薄膜侧向上朝向模腔。将模具关闭并对于粘结剂薄膜10注塑一鞋底。鞋底26形成后,将其从模腔中去除,如图2所示,形成一组件30,该组件包括有一外鞋底26、一能被热活化的粘结剂薄膜10和防粘薄膜12,并参见图3。在模制步骤过程中,一部分粘结剂融入正在形成的鞋底内。鞋底形成后,该粘结剂薄膜即与鞋底一体。这具有两个作用:将粘结剂薄膜粘接到鞋底上并且在搬运过程中不移位,以及与鞋底形成强有力的粘接。
当打算将鞋底用在鞋底装设工序中时,可将防粘衬里12去除,并实施粘接步骤。通过石灰棒(cal-rod)转动或石英闪光激活装置对粘结剂薄膜加以热活化至表面温度为115°-225°F。
粘结剂薄膜较佳为一氨基甲酸乙酯基粘结剂,特别是一具有聚己内酰胺背面粘接的氨基甲酸乙酯粘结剂。一种示范性的粘结剂是Worthen工业公司的一个分公司Upaco粘结剂公司制造的UPACO 2448。这种粘结剂是一种由溶剂铺设的热塑性聚氨基甲酸乙酯。这种粘结剂尤其适于粘接多孔聚酯聚氨基甲酸乙酯或热塑性橡胶(Kraton)鞋底。
从氨基甲酸乙酯、聚乙烯氯化物、Kraton、乙烯/乙酸乙烯酯共聚物等现有技术的鞋底材料中选择一种鞋底材料。
以上说明对本发明的一特定实施例作了限定。然而显而易见,可对本发明进行各种变化和修改而仍具有本发明的一些或全部优点。因此,所附权利要求的目的即在于涵盖所有这些变化和修改而不脱离本发明的精神和范围。
Claims (3)
1.一种模制鞋底组件,包括:
一具有一能被热活化的粘结剂的外鞋底,该粘结剂涂覆在该外鞋底的一个表面上,该外鞋底从主要由聚氨基甲酸乙酯、聚乙烯氯化物或嵌段共聚物组成的组中选择,该能被热活化的粘结剂为一聚氨基甲酸乙酯粘结剂,它适于与从主要由聚氨基甲酸乙酯薄膜、皮革、织物、聚氯乙烯或氨基甲酸乙酯薄膜组成的组中选择的鞋帮组合使用;
能被热活化的粘结剂被吸收在该鞋底中和鞋底的表面上,该粘结剂的特征在于它将在115至125°F之间的温度处重新活化并且防止增塑剂和油移动;以及
一被吸附在能被热活化的表面上的防粘衬里。
2.一种模制鞋组件,包括:
一具有一能被热活化的粘结剂的外鞋底,该粘结剂涂覆在该外鞋底的一个表面上,该外鞋底从主要由聚乙烯、聚丙烯或三元乙丙橡胶混合物组成的组中选择,该能被热活化的粘结剂为一聚烯烃基粘结剂,它适于与从主要由聚烯烃薄膜、皮革薄膜或织物组成的组中选择的鞋帮组合使用;
能被热活化的粘结剂被吸收在该鞋底中和鞋底的表面上,该粘结剂的特征在于它将在115至125°F之间的温度处重新活化并且防止增塑剂和油移动;以及
一在被吸附的、能被热活化的表面上的防粘衬里。
3.一种模制鞋底组件,包括:
一具有一能被热活化的粘结剂的外鞋底,该粘结剂涂覆在该外鞋底的一个表面上,该外鞋底由乙烯/乙酸乙烯酯共聚物形成,该粘结剂从主要由乙酸乙烯共聚物和/或氯化橡胶粘结剂化合物组成的组中选择,它适于与从主要由乙烯乙酸乙烯酯薄膜、皮革或织物组成的组中选择的鞋帮组合使用;
能被热活化的粘结剂被吸收在该鞋底中和鞋底的表面上,该粘结剂的特征在于它将在115至125°F之间的温度处重新活化并且防止增塑剂和油移动;以及
一在被吸附的、能被热活化的表面上的防粘衬里。
