Abstract
本发明涉及一种汽车乘客保护装置用的同心板型气体发生器,其中在带有点火极和点火药(1)的点火室周围装有燃烧室(2),燃烧室内有可生成气体的燃剂(3),膨胀室(4)环绕在燃烧室(2)的外面。为降低制造费用,减小结构尺寸,减轻重量并达到较强的再循环能力,建议构成燃烧室(2)和膨胀室(4)的板件仅通过金属成型技术相互连接。
Description
本发明涉及一种如权利要求1前序部分所述的汽车乘客保护装置用的板型气体发生器。
此类气体发生器在DE-A1-4121039公开过。该气体发生器为同心结构,即在带有点火极和点火药的点火室周围装有燃烧室,燃烧室内装有可生成气体的燃剂,膨胀室环绕在燃烧室外面。膨胀室内有一吸尘腔和冷却/膨胀腔。通过燃烧室的出流口漏出的气体分成一次流和二次流。一次流压入吸尘腔内,而干净的气体通过冷却/过滤腔流到气囊的气袋中。借助流出气体速度的提高可实现较高的分离功率。这是通过气体自身溢出能量来实现的。
本发明旨在改进如权利要求1前序部分所述的气体发生器,以实现结构尺寸小,制造费用低,重量轻,再循环能力强。
按长发明,通过将构成燃烧室和膨胀室的板件仅通过金属成型技术相互连接来实现该目标。
金属成型技术是指卷边,镦锻,铆接,摆动 铆接,模压,挤压和扩径。
通过仅借助金属成型技术来连接单个板件,可实现制造费用低,同时结构尺寸小,重量轻。此外,较强的再循环能力可保证清除干净。
在优选的实施例中,燃烧室由两个板件构成,其中内侧件具有圆筒形内壁并在一端有一弯曲成直角的底板;外侧件具有圆筒形外壁并在一端有一弯曲成直角的盖板。
按本发明,点火室是一个预制的点火元件,其安装在燃烧室内侧件的内壁内 借此实现较少零件的极紧凑形式。
按本发明板件为钢板,例如优质钢1.4301或1.4303;厚度优选约1.0到1.5mm。
可生成气体的燃剂最好装在燃烧室内一密封的装料容器中。该容器最好用铝材料经过冲压或深冲制成,保证对外部湿度的完全密封。装料容器的壁厚优选约0.2到0.5mm。
在燃烧室和膨胀室之间备有涡旋的排出口。优选的实施例中该排出口在燃烧室外侧件的圆筒形外壁上呈叉形外翻结构。这种外翻是通过切入燃烧室壁再压出来形成的。相对于现有技术,借此可节省附加零件。
较有利的是,膨胀室由一个与排出口相连的分离室和一个沿流向位于其后的过滤室组成,其中流出的气体在从分离室到过滤室的过渡时转向大约180°。借助这种突然的转向和流出气体的旋转形成的强大离心力的共同作用,液态和固态微粒的大部分并不随之改变方向,从而自气流中分离出来。
过滤室内最好填满过滤器。这样可实现进一步的过滤并冷却气体。
在优选的实施例中,过滤室的纵向壁与排出口对置,该纵向壁相对于燃烧室壁(燃烧室外侧件的圆筒形外壁)倾斜安装,从而使直径沿流出的气体流向逐渐减小。因此可达到流出气体速度提高的要求。
为进一步过滤,分离室的一侧壁覆盖有过滤器。该过滤器最好由金属丝织物或金属丝网构成
本发明提供的气体发生器非常适合作驾驶员气体发生器,也就是用于汽车驾驶员一侧。

图1和2所示为根据本发明的汽车乘客保护装置用同心板型气体发生器。环绕点火元件9安装有燃烧室2和膨胀室4,这两个室2,4用优质钢仅通过金属成型技术制成
燃烧室2由两个板件,即内侧件5和外侧件6构成。内侧件5具有圆筒形内壁,并在一端有一弯曲成直角的底板7,外侧件6具有圆筒形外壁,并在一端有一弯曲成直角的盖板8 借助卷边将两部分5,6相互连在一起。在燃烧室2的内部安装点火元件9,为此燃烧室2壁内包围着夹持板17,点火元件9位于夹持板上。套管30靠卷边压在点火元件9上,以此来固定点火元件9。内侧件5和套管30最好焊接在一起。
图3所示为燃烧室2的内侧件5相对图1的放大图,其内部装有点火元件9。这里通过钉式连接来固定,即通过将内侧件5的壁18径向点式压入点火元件9的凹槽中
点火元件9属现有技术,由一个用来与插头相连并接到控制电子元件上的衬套19构成。点火元件9内部有一点火桥,图中未示出,该点火桥在电压接通时点燃起爆药,起爆药再点燃火药1。
燃烧室2内有一装料容器10,该容器由一个带有顶盖20的环形头组成。头与盖20通过折边咬合相互连接。为了密封,密封区备有类似丙烯酸酯胶的涂层。装料容器10内装有可生成气体的燃料丸式燃剂3。另外还装有容积补偿21和金属丝网22,以避免填实排出口11。为此金属丝网22与装料容器10壁之间留有一定距离,并分布在装料容器10的整个长度内。
燃烧室2的内侧件5有孔23,该孔使点火元件9的火花能进入燃烧室2。点火元件9打火后,其火花即击穿装料容器10,点燃可生成气体的燃剂3。达到一定的爆炸压力后装料容器10在燃烧室2的排出口11处打开。作为叉形外翻或者弧形开口的排出口11按有利方式以直角形式或弧形向外压开,这样气体自燃烧室2切向流出。12个排出口11最好周边均布。
膨胀室4与燃烧室2相邻安装,膨胀室由一分离室12和一过滤室13组成。流出的气体自排出口11流入分离室12并在此以螺旋形流向底板。在底板处气流突然转向约180°,经开口26流入填满过滤剂14的过滤室13。此处开口26直接从竖直方向过渡到水平方向。加上由旋转引起的强大离心力作用,液态和固态微粒的大部分并不随之改变方向,从而自气流中分离出来
自气流中分离出来的液态和固态微粒将附着在分离室12外壁上所安装的金属丝织物或金属丝网上,即过滤器16上。为进一步过滤和冷却,气体流经过滤室13内的过滤器14,再从出流口24流进气袋。过滤器14最好用粗金属丝网构成,用于冷却和构成细滤的滤网。
图4所示为膨胀室4的特殊结构。这里过滤室13的纵向壁15与燃烧室2的排出口11对置,并相对于燃烧室壁(燃烧室2外侧件6的圆筒形外壁)倾斜安装,从而使直径沿流出的气体流向逐渐减小。为此纵向壁15固定在间隔法兰25上,在间隔法兰25内也有开口23。间隔法兰25和纵向壁15很简单地嵌入到膨胀室4中
如图1所示,图4所示的实施例中膨胀室4也只由两块板构成,即底板27和带有弯曲盖29的圆周件28
上述气体发生器优点如下:
-单个板件借助金属成型如卷边,镦锻实现连接,使制造费用很低。
-使用钢板使结构紧凑重量轻。
从弧形开口切向流出造成气流涡旋,加上突然的转向,使气烟能达到很好的分离,并可使用简单的过滤器结构。
-通过采用单一材料作壳体和过滤,如优质钢1.4301,保证了优良的再循环能力
Claims (11)
1.汽车乘客保护装置用的同心板型气体发生器,其中在带有点火极和点火药(1)的点火室周围装有燃烧室(2),燃烧室内有可生成气体的燃剂(3),膨胀室(4)环绕在燃烧室(2)的外面,其特征在于,构成燃烧室(2)和膨胀室(4)的板件仅通过金属成型技术相互连接。
2.按权利要求1所述的气体发生器,其特征在于,燃烧室(2)由两部分(5,6)构成,其内侧件(5)具有圆筒形内壁,并在一端有一弯曲成直角的底板(7),外侧件(6)具有圆筒形外壁,并在一端有一弯曲成直角的盖板(8)。
3.按权利要求1或2所述的气体发生器,其特征在于,板件为钢板。
4.按权利要求1至3中任一项所述的气体发生器,其特征在于,点火室是一个预制好的点火元件,其安装在燃烧室(2)内侧件(5)的圆筒形内壁内
5.按权利要求1至4中任一项所述的气体发生器,其特征在于,燃烧室(2)内可生成气体的燃剂(3)装在一个密封的装料容器中。
6.按权利要求1至5中任一项所述的气体发生器,其在燃烧室(2)和膨胀室(4)之间具有能产生涡旋的排出口(11),其特征在于,排出口(11)在燃烧室(2)外侧件(6)的圆筒形外壁上呈叉形外翻结构。
7.按权利要求1至6中任一项所述的气体发生器,其特征在于,膨胀室(4)由一个与排出口(11)相连的分离室(12)和一个沿流向位于其后的过滤室(13)组成,其中流出的气体在从分离室(12)到过滤室(13)的过渡时转向大约180°
8.按权利要求7所述的气体发生器,其特征在于,过滤室(13)内填满了过滤器(14)
9.按权利要求7或8所述的气体发生器,其特征在于,过滤室(13)的纵向壁(15)与排出口(11)对置
10.按权利要求9所述的气体发生器,其特征在于,纵向壁(15)相对于燃烧室壁(燃烧室(2)外侧件(6)的圆筒形外壁)倾斜安装,从而使直径沿流出的气体流向逐渐减小
11.按权利要求7至10中任一项所述的气体发生器,其特征在于,分离室(12)的一侧壁覆盖有过滤器(16)。
