Description

一种用于盒式磁带录像机的磁头 及其制造方法
本发明涉及一种用于盒式磁带录像机(“VCR”)的磁头。具体而言,本发明涉及一种能以高密度录下或重现磁信号,并能防止磨损的改进型磁头及其制造方法。
众所周知,盒式磁带录像机都装有一个既用以在磁带上录下新信号,又用以对已录在磁带上的信号再现出来的磁头。
图1是现已公知的盒式磁带录像机所装有的磁头10的横剖视图。该磁头10由一对磁心2和3,线圈5、6和绝缘件7构成。
包括一个“I”形磁心2和一个“C”形磁心3的这一对磁头2、3,藉助于绝缘件7把其中一个磁心的后部与另一个磁心的后部连接在一起。由此,在磁心2、3的前端之间形成了一个磁极间隙4。线圈5、6相应缠绕在磁心2、3上。
这样的一个磁头10的功能,是通过磁极间隙4把已录在磁带(图中未显示)上的磁信号重现出来的。当磁极间隙4变窄时,或当磁头10移近磁带时,已录在磁带上的信号的磁场使存在于这对磁心2、3中的磁偶极子重新排列。而这又转而导致了磁流体的改变,使缠绕在磁心2、3上的线圈5、6中感应出了电信号。随之,该电信号提供给了转子变压器(图中未显示),然后被传送到该盒式磁带录像机的其它部分。
另一方面,在录制过程中,施加给线圈5、6的电信号使磁心2、3中的磁偶极子重新排列,于是在磁极间隙4的周围形成一个磁场,用以在磁带上录下磁信号。
能被录到单位长度磁带上的信号的数量,也就是信号密度,取决于磁极间隙4的尺寸大小。使磁极间隙4变窄,就有可能使录下相同磁信号量所需要的磁带的面积减少。同样地,使磁极间隙4变窄,也就有可能改善盒式磁带录像机重现已录在减少了面积的磁带上的磁信号的清晰度。由此可见,信号密度取决于磁极间隙4的尺寸。
但是,上述磁头10有某些不足之处。因为,一般使用诸如精修、研磨等机械加工工艺,或用通常可利用的技术,不可能造出窄于0.3微米的磁极间隙4。因而使用通常的磁头10难以以高密度录下或重现磁信号。
再者,因为在磁头10中的磁心2、3是用维氏硬度为500-600公斤力/毫米2的铁淦氧制成的,由于与磁带的摩擦而容易磨损,以致缩短了磁头10的使用寿命。
因此,本发明的目的,在于提供一种盒式磁带录像机用的,能以高密度录下或重现磁信号的磁头。
本发明的另一个目的,在于提供一种盒式磁带录像机用的,具有较长使用寿命的磁头。
本发明的再一个目的,在于提供一种盒式磁带录像机用的所述的这种磁头的制造方法。
本发明的一个方面,是提供一种盒式磁带录像机用的磁头。该磁头由以下部分构成:一对磁心,其中一个磁心呈“I”形而另一个磁心呈“C”形;一对线圈,其中每一个线圈缠绕在这两个磁心中相应的一个上;一个绝缘件,它把一个磁心的后部与另一个磁心的后部连接在一起,从而在这两个磁心的前端之间形成一个磁极间隙;一层磁性薄膜,该磁性薄膜位于每一个磁心的前表面上并具有一条有一定宽度并围绕磁极间隙的水平窄缝,此处所述的水平窄缝的宽度窄于磁极间隙的宽度,以使该磁头有可能以高密度在磁带上录下磁信号或把所录信号重现出来;一层在磁性薄膜的顶上形成的保护薄膜,以使由于该磁性薄膜与磁带摩擦而造成的磨损减至最小。
本发明的另一个方面,是提供一种盒式磁带录像机用的磁头的制造方法。该方法由以下步骤组成:提供一对磁心,其中一个磁心呈“I”形而另一个磁心呈“C”形;在该对磁心的后部之间形成一个绝缘件,它把这两个磁心连接在一起,从而在这两个磁心的前端之间形成一个磁级间隙;在每个磁心的前表面上淀积一层磁性薄膜;加工磁性薄膜,使所述的磁性薄膜具有一条围绕磁极间隙的水平窄缝,此处所述的水平窄缝的宽度狭于磁极间隙的宽度;在磁性薄膜的顶上淀积一层保护薄膜,从而形成磁头。
通过下面对较佳实施例的详细描述连同附图,对本发明上面提到的以及其它目的和优点将一清二楚,在附图中:
图1给出了已公知的盒式磁带录像机磁头的横剖面图;
图2给出了符合本发明的盒式磁带录像机磁头的横剖面图;
图3A到3D给出了一组横剖面图解,这组图解说明了如图2所示的磁头的制造方法。
图2给出了符合本发明的盒式磁带录像机用磁头20的较佳实施例的横剖面图;图3A到3D一组横剖面图解,描述了其制造方法的较佳实施例。请注意在图2和图3A-3D中出现的相同部分都用相同的参考标号表示。
在图2中,提供了盒式磁带录像机用的磁头20的横剖面图。该磁头20由一对磁心12、13,一对线圈15、16,一个绝缘件14,一层磁性薄膜17和一层保护薄膜19构成。
该对磁心包括一个呈“I”形的磁心12和一个呈“C”形的磁心13。线圈15、16相应缠绕着磁心12、13。绝缘件14是由玻璃制成的,并把一个磁心的后部与另一个磁心的后部连接在一起,从而在磁心12、13的前端之间形成一个磁极间隙。磁性薄膜17位于磁心12、13的前表面上,并具有一条包绕磁极间隙的水平窄缝18,在此,该水平窄缝18的宽度窄于该磁极间隙的宽度,从而使磁头20能在磁带(图中未显示)上以高密度录下磁信号,或把所录磁信号重现出来。保护薄膜19是由氧化铝(Al2O3)制成的并位于磁性薄膜17的顶上,从而保护磁性薄膜17免于因与磁带的摩擦而造成的磨损。
在图3A-3D中,提供了一组横剖面图解,用以说明图2所示的磁头20的制造方法。
磁头20的制造步骤以提供一对磁心12、13作为第一步,其中,磁心12呈“I”形而另一个磁心13呈“C”形。
第二步在磁心12、13的后部形成一个用玻璃做的绝缘件14,把磁心12、13连结在一起,从而在磁心12、13的前端之间形成一个磁极间隙。该步骤正如图3A所示。
在接下来的一步中,是在磁心12、13的前表面上淀积一层磁性薄膜17,如图3B所示。
此后,加工磁性薄膜17,以使磁性薄膜17具有一条围绕磁极间隙的水平窄缝18,如图3C所示。该水平窄缝的宽度窄于磁极间隙的宽度。
在上述步骤之后,把用氧化铝(Al2O3)制成的一层保护薄膜19淀积在磁性薄膜17的上面,从而构成了磁头20,如图3D所示。
在本发明的磁头20及其制造方法中,因为具有水平窄缝18的磁性薄膜17是在磁心12、13的前表面上形成的,有可能构造一个宽度小于0.3微米的磁极间隙,所以使得在较小的磁带面积上记录下同样数量的磁信号成为可能。同样地,通过使磁极间隙变窄,也使盒式磁带录像机重现已录在较小面积的磁带上的磁信号的清晰度能得以改善。
此外,因在磁性薄膜17的上面形成了保护薄膜19,使磁性薄膜17免于与磁带摩擦而造成的磨损,从而延长了磁性薄膜17乃致磁头20的使用寿命。
虽然已介绍了本发明的某些较佳实施例,在不违背本发明如下阐述的权利要求的范围的情况下,还可以作各种变更的。

Claims (6)

1、一种带有磁头的盒式磁带录像机,其特征在于:该磁头由以下部分构成;
一对磁心,其中一个磁心呈“I”形而另一个磁心呈“C”形;
一对线圈,其中每一个线圈缠绕在这两个磁心中相应的一个上;
一个绝缘件,它把一个磁心的后部与另一个磁心的后部连接在一起,从而在这两个磁心的前端之间形成一个磁极间隙;
一层磁性薄膜,该磁性薄膜位于每一个磁心的前表面上并具有一条有一定宽度并围绕磁极间隙的水平窄缝,此处所述的水平窄缝的宽度窄于磁极间隙的宽度,以使该磁头有可能以高密度在磁带上录下磁信号或把所录信号重现出来;
一层在磁性薄膜的顶上形成的保护薄膜,以使由于该磁性薄膜与磁带摩擦而造成的磨损减至最小;
2、按照权利要求1所述的带有磁头的盒式磁带录像机,其中,所述的绝缘件是由玻璃制成的。
3、按照权利要求1所述的带有磁头的盒式磁带录像机,其中,所述的保护薄膜是由氧化铝(Al2O3)制成的;
4、一种用于盒式磁带录像机的磁头的制造方法,该方法由以下步骤组成:
制备一对磁心,其中一个磁心呈“I”形而另一个呈“C”形;
在该对磁心的后部之间形成一个绝缘件,它把这两个磁心连接在一起,从而在这两个磁心的前端之间形成一个磁极间隙;
在每个磁心的前表面上淀积一层磁性薄膜;
加工磁性薄膜,使所述的磁性薄膜具有一条包绕磁极间隙的水平窄缝,此处所述的水平窄缝的宽度狭于磁极间隙的宽度;
在磁性薄膜的顶上淀积一层保护薄膜,从而形成磁头。
5、按照权利要求4所述的盒式磁带录像机磁头的制造方法,其中所说的绝缘件是由玻璃制成的。
6、按照权利要求4所述的盒式磁带录像机磁头的制造方法,其中所述的保护薄膜是由氧化铝(Al2O3)制成的。
