1. Moisture retention test:
the results of the test of the trans-dermal water loss rate (TEWL) of the serum obtained using the skin care composition of example 3 are shown in fig. 1.
The transdermal water loss rate (TEWL), which represents the rapid and slow rate of water loss of the skin, is related to the skin barrier, and the smaller the value, the better the skin barrier and the stronger the water-locking capacity of the skin.
From the test results, the TEWL values decreased first and then increased after the essential milk and the purified water were used, that is, the skin water loss rate was decreased, the TEWL value measured for 0.5h of the essential milk reached the peak value, the maximum change percentage was-56.89%, and the change percentage was-43.666% in 2h, while the maximum change percentage was-7.10% in 0.5h of the purified water, and the change percentage was 24.49% in 2 h. In conclusion, the essential milk has a good skin water locking effect compared with purified water.
The results of the stratum corneum moisture content (on the nasal side of the face) test of the serum obtained using the skin care composition of example 3 are shown in fig. 2.
From the test results, after the essence milk is used, the water content value of the horny layer is increased firstly and then decreased, namely the water content of the horny layer is increased firstly and then decreased, the water content value of the horny layer measured by the essence milk in 0.25h (namely 15min) reaches the peak value, the maximum change percentage of the essence milk in 2h is 54.87%, the change percentage in 2h is 45.40%, the maximum change percentage of purified water is 17.39%, and the change percentage in 2h is 16.68%, and the essence milk is obviously superior to the purified water and has relatively good moisturizing effect.
The values of the red area on the VISIA front view of the serum obtained using the skin care composition of example 3 vary as shown in table 1.
TABLE 1
Index (I) | Blank control | After smearing | Percent change |
Percentile | 68% | 71.4% | 5.00% |
Feature counting | 13.2 | 12.6 | -4.55% |
Score value | 8.95 | 8.61 | -3.80% |
Note that:
the percentile: describe skin feature scores compared to others of the same age, same gender, same skin type (higher values are better)
Secondly, score value: reflecting the size, area and density of the features (lower number is better)
Thirdly, counting the characteristics: representing the number of individual skin features detected within the facial mask area (lower values are better)
(iv) percent change ═ value after application-blank value)/blank value
As can be seen from Table 1, the percentage change of the percentile is 5.00%, which is improved compared with the blank after the essence cream is used. The percent change in feature counts was-4.55%, i.e., the skin feature count was reduced. The percentage of change in the score was-3.80%, indicating that hemoglobin was improved by combining the characteristics of size, area, and density. Has slight relieving effect on sensitive skin, and slightly improves hemoglobin.
The VISIA front view red area of one of the testers is shown in fig. 3.
2. Melanin value and ITA ° test:
a melanin value, representing the melanin concentration of the skin, the greater the value, the darker the skin;
ITA °, represents the shade scale of skin color from black to white, and the larger the value, the more whitish the value.
The results of the melanin value test of the serum milk obtained using the skin care composition of example 3 are shown in fig. 4.
From fig. 4, it can be seen that the melanin value rapidly decreased after 1 week of the use of the essence milk, and decreased to 620 or less after 28 days of the use.
The ITA ° test results of the serum milk obtained using the skin care composition of example 3 are shown in fig. 5.
As can be seen from fig. 5, the whitening effect was significant after 1 month of using the essence cream.
The use feeling test: the above 10 tested persons apply the essence creams obtained from the skin care compositions of examples 1 to 6 to the cheek parts respectively, and the using effects of the essence creams are comprehensively scored on the aspects of the difficulty of applying the essence creams, the stimulation degree of the skin, the absorption speed of the skin, the obvious degree of softening the skin and the like. The comprehensive score range is 1-10 points, 1 point is very unsatisfactory, 10 points are very satisfactory, and the higher the score is, the higher the satisfaction degree of the tester on the using effect of the essence milk is. The number of people with the comprehensive score of 6-10 is counted in the test, and the result is shown in table 2.
