Description

用于使用具有带有肋的特定轮廓的密封头生产气密的一次性 食物容器的制造方法
技术领域
本发明涉及容器,更具体地涉及由封盖膜或其他顶部气密地闭合的一次性容器,该封盖膜或其他顶部被设计成最小化进入容器中的气流或蒸气流。此类容器用于食料,诸如要在饮料系统中使用的咖啡荚包。
由封盖膜气密地闭合的一次性容器是熟知的。此类容器通常包括:
-容器主体,该容器主体具有一个或多个侧壁和从侧壁的顶部向外延伸的边沿,
-和封盖膜或类似物,该封盖膜或类似物通过用边沿密封来闭合容器主体的顶部。
背景技术
一些已知的容器主体由包括塑料屏障的层压材料制成。
一方面,由于约600%的塑性拉伸性,市场上已有的一次性塑料屏障容器在容器主体和封盖之间表现出良好的密封性。塑料热成形/注塑容器主体的边沿具有平坦表面和恒定厚度。因此,将封盖密封到此类容器主体的边沿上是强效的。
另一方面,消费者寻求具有“天然”吸引人的方面的更生态友好且环境友好的包装材料。
PLA层压件(如PLA/PVOH/PLA,其中PLA是指聚乳酸并且PVOH是指聚乙烯醇)是可堆肥的,而纸提供“自然”感觉。因此,由纸/PLA层压件制成的一次性容器主体将满足消费者的需求。热密封通过PLA塑性材料来完成。
遗憾的是,纸的拉伸性为约10%。因此,对于由此类材料用纸制成的容器主体,当平坦的纸形成为三维形状时,褶皱(至多1mm)出现在容器边沿的表面处。因此,在容器主体和闭合封盖之间或在纸层压材料层之间形成通道。此类通道允许气体和蒸气(水分)在储存时间段之后进入容器,这对其中容纳的配料的质量是不利的。在用通常的热密封头进行热密封期间,褶皱在一定程度上保持不变,并且不确保褶皱的密封性。因此,即使可形成部分有效的密封,容器内容物仍然暴露于通过这些褶皱渗出的一定量的外部空气和水分。这继而加速了容器内容物的变质。边沿中的氧气和蒸气阻隔性不足以获得。
一种已知的解决方案是添加塑料边沿以确保平滑且规则的边沿表面。EP1485178公开了具有包封的边沿特征部的此类容器。实际上,EP1485178提出了具有完全或部分包封的边沿或凸缘的各种容器主体。包封材料通常由塑料(诸如聚烯烃、尼龙、聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯、聚碳酸酯或其他工程热塑性树脂)制成。该包封材料覆盖边沿或凸缘的至少一部分,并且可从边沿的外边缘延伸一定距离。包封材料的外部基本上是平滑的,即使那些部分填充或覆盖边沿中的不规则部分也是如此。另外,包封的边沿对气体和水分呈现气密的屏障,并且可用膜或其他材料密封以使容器内部完全隔离。
但是用于包封的聚合物是昂贵的,并且所用的量增加了形成可用容器主体所需的循环时间。此外,制造方法变得复杂。
为了减少边沿包封对制造成本和时间的影响,EP1485178提出通过仅包封边沿或凸缘的一部分来减少聚合物的量。例如,仅边沿的下侧覆盖有包封材料。通过在注塑过程中仅在边沿的下方或背侧注入树脂,边沿的上表面上的暴露的纸板皱褶被热的高压注入剂向上压靠金属模具的表面,该热的高压注入剂压缩或“熨烫”凸缘的上表面上的皱褶。这在上侧上形成改善的密封表面,这有助于确保在现有平坦化的皱褶上获得气密密封。此外,边沿的包封下侧的平滑表面也可结合到封盖,同时封盖向下弯曲。
然而,该解决方案仍然使用包封材料并将该材料注入模具中。因此降低了制造成本并缩短了制造时间,但仅在相当低的范围内。此外,该解决方案不能满足消费者对更天然和可回收产品的期望。
在Billerud的WO 2015/082268专利申请中公开的另一种解决方案,其中由容器主体的纸层的三维变形产生的褶皱在顶部封盖被密封到其上之前通过喷涂或以其他方式涂覆材料以“填充”褶皱来重新闭合。该解决方案具有以下缺点:它需要荚包的结构的附加组分(即,边沿涂覆材料),并且还需要附加的喷涂步骤和设备,这增加了工艺的成本和复杂性。
因此,需要开发一种用于确保纸/PLA层压件的适当密封的方法,该方法使用当前的制造技术并且不添加任何附加容器元件。
发明内容
本发明的目的是提供一种用于生产气密的一次性食物容器(诸如咖啡荚包)的更简单且节省成本的制造方法。具体地讲,本发明的目的是避免甚至部分地包封荚包的边沿的需要。
本发明的制造方法还旨在通过有效的氧气和蒸气阻隔性在一次性食物容器的边沿上获得有效的密封,以确保杯中质量和足够的货架期,甚至对于由纸/PLA层压件制成的容器主体也是如此。
换句话讲,本发明的一个目的是提供一种不具有包封的边沿特征部但至少与具有包封的边沿特征部的先前荚包一样气密的新型环保的荚包。
为此,用于生产根据本发明的气密的一次性食物容器的制造方法包括:
-形成具有周边上部边沿的容器主体,
-将容器主体置于具有第一模具和第二模具的密封头中,第一模具和第二模具中的至少一者是活动的,第一模具和第二模具具有面向边沿的配合的环形密封表面,
-在置于密封头中的容器主体上施加闭合封盖,诸如封盖膜,
-通过将第一模具和第二模具彼此抵靠地施加而用容器主体的边沿密封闭合封盖。
根据本发明的方法的特征在于:密封头的第一模具在其密封表面上设置有环形肋,该肋基本上围绕整个密封表面在周向方向上连续地延伸,并且具有至少等于在形成容器主体时可能出现在边沿上的褶皱的最大深度的高度,由此当将闭合封盖密封到容器主体时,通过肋在边沿的一侧(围绕整个边沿)上雕刻连续密封沟槽,该闭合封盖在此密封沟槽的前面结合到边沿。
应当注意,根据本发明的方法中的密封步骤可使用热密封或超声密封技术,由此密封头可包括用于产生超声振动的加热元件或装置。其他类型的密封,例如感应密封也是可行的。
此外,在所有描述中,模具的“密封表面”是指在密封期间与封盖或容器主体接触或更一般地作用于封盖或容器主体的模具的表面。该表面可具有与边沿相同的尺寸或可更小。此外,两个模具的密封表面可具有不同的宽度。
在密封期间,第一模具的肋使褶皱平坦化,消除两个膜之间的通道并产生一条连续的密封线。
优选地,肋的高度小于容器主体的厚度。
由于根据本发明的密封头的第一模具的肋,容器主体可使用非常简单的制造方法由纸/PLA层压件的片材制成,其可在密封冲压步骤中与非常基本的密封头相加,该密封头仅仅是没有注入元件的加热或超声压机。密封头的唯一特征是其密封部件的设计,该密封部件包括肋,肋的高度高于边沿中的褶皱的深度。
应当注意,在所有描述中,除非另外指明,否则术语“一个”意指“至少一个”(但不是“一个且仅一个”)。因此,第一模具可在其密封表面中具有两个或更多个同心肋。
优选地,密封头是立式压机的头部,也就是说,密封头被布置成使得活动模具在竖直方向上平移(于是密封线在水平平面上),密封头具有上部模具和下部模具。
在此类构型中,第一模具(具有肋)可为上部模具,第二模具为下部模具,由此通过肋雕刻的密封沟槽形成于边沿的顶侧中。另选地,第一模具为下部模具,第二模具为上部模具,并且密封沟槽形成于边沿的下侧中。
第二模具的密封表面可以是平坦的,更具体地讲是平坦且刚性的。或者,第二模具的密封表面可以在第一模具的肋的前面设置有密封沟槽或橡胶座。
在一个优选的实施方案中,第一模具为立式压机的下部模具(第二模具为上部模具),并且第二模具的密封表面为平坦且刚性的。因此,通过肋在边沿的下侧中形成密封沟槽,而闭合封盖的顶部表面在边沿的前面保持平坦。因此,如果参考代码在边沿处印刷在闭合封盖的顶部表面上,则该参考代码不会由于密封过程而变形,并且边沿下侧中的密封沟槽不会干扰该参考代码的读取。
优选地,容器主体、边沿和密封头的密封表面具有圆形横截面。在这种情况下,第一模具的肋也有利地为圆形。
本发明还涉及用于执行根据本发明的制造方法的装置。具体地讲,本发明涉及一种用于密封一次性食物容器的容器主体的边沿上的闭合封盖的密封头,其中该密封头包括第一模具和第二模具,第一模具和第二模具中的一者是活动的,第一模具和第二模具具有配合的环形密封表面,当容器主体置于密封头中时,该环形密封表面面向边沿。密封头的特征在于:第一模具在其密封表面中设置有环形肋,该肋具有至少等于在形成容器主体时可能出现在边沿中的褶皱的最大深度的高度。
在适于制造荚包(诸如咖啡荚包)的一个优选的实施方案中,模具的环形密封表面和第一模具的肋都是圆形的。
在特别适用于制造由纸/PLA层压件的片材制成的咖啡荚包的一个优选的实施方案中,肋的高度至少等于0.7mm,优选地至少等于1mm。
更一般地,肋的高度优选地介于0.1mm和4mm之间,并且肋的宽度优选地介于0.15mm和6mm之间。此外,肋的宽度优选地小于肋的高度的三倍。
本发明还涉及通过根据本发明的制造方法获得的气密的一次性食物容器。具体地讲,气密的一次性食物容器包括具有周边边沿的容器主体和闭合容器主体的闭合封盖。气密的一次性食物容器的特征在于:
-容器主体由纸层压材料制成并至少在边沿处具有褶皱,该褶皱基本上径向地延伸,
-该气密的一次性食物容器具有在边沿的一侧上雕刻的环形密封沟槽,该环形密封沟槽基本上围绕整个边沿在周向方向上连续地延伸,并且具有至少等于褶皱的最大深度的深度,由此褶皱由密封沟槽平坦化,闭合封盖至少在密封沟槽的区域中结合到容器主体的边沿。
关于上述第一表征点,术语“纸层压材料”意指构成容器主体的材料包括若干层,其中一层为纸片。此外,褶皱是由纸层压材料的2D模胚形成(3D)容器主体的结果。
关于第二表征点,密封沟槽(通过使褶皱平坦化)的直接结果是容器主体的边沿的顶部表面在沟槽的前面是平坦的,并且因此能够在该区域中气密地结合到闭合封盖。
在一个优选的实施方案中,闭合封盖具有至少在边沿处平坦的顶部表面。
在一个优选的实施方案中,密封沟槽被雕刻在边沿的下侧中。
优选地,容器主体由纸/PLA层压件的片材制成。
在一个更优选的实施方案中,容器主体由50μm的PLA-PVOH-PLA片材与130g/m2的可成形纸层压制成,并且封盖膜由包括PLA屏障的片材与30g/m2的纸层压制成。
在边沿的一侧中雕刻的密封沟槽可具有介于0.05mm和3mm之间的高度,以及介于0.15mm至5mm之间的宽度。此外,密封沟槽的宽度优选地小于肋的高度的三倍;更优选地,密封沟槽的宽度和高度是相等的。

具体实施方式
根据本发明的制造方法的第一步骤旨在由图3所示的2D模胚10产生3D容器主体,诸如图1和图2所示的容器主体100。在根据本发明的制造方法中使用的成形工艺可选自已知的滑动模胚工艺(其中模胚滑入模具中并且模胚的侧向收缩引起模胚的微折叠),诸如冲压工艺或深拉工艺,或选自已知的固定模胚工艺(其中容器基本上通过模胚的应变形成),诸如空气成形/真空成形工艺和热压工艺,这取决于容器主体的所需形状(特别是所需深度)、模胚的材料等。
例如,容器主体的形成可通过用如图3所示的压机深拉来进行,该压机包括凸模20,而凹模可不存在,如图所示作为计数器保持器21存在或用于冲压形状的底部。将2D模胚10置于成形机中,在该成形机中其由模胚保持器24以预定的力F夹紧;随后,凸模20开始沿着成形腔室22朝计数器保持器21向下移动,该成形腔室是发生实际成形的地方。最后,从成形装置释放形状。成形腔室优选地由加热元件23围绕。加热元件23’也可设置在凸模20中。
整个成形序列可短至几秒钟。根据经验选择成形参数,诸如模具力、模胚保持力F、成形间隙或空隙(其为成形腔室的边缘与凸模的边缘之间的横向距离)。
关于成形间隙,可以注意到,该距离根据制成模胚的材料的厚度等而变化。过小的成形间隙增加了面外和面内剪切和力。这可导致裂纹的形成以及所形成形状的材料的最终失效。通常,间隙为纸板厚度的约0.7倍(可以注意到,在非常示意性的图3中没有考虑尺寸和比例)。另一方面,过大的成形间隙导致形状外观较差并且导致形成孔的显著褶皱,这限制了此类形状气密密封的可能性。
作为成形工艺的负面结果,容器主体100基本上在边沿102中和在边沿102与侧壁101之间的接合处以及在侧壁101的大部分上表现出褶皱103(见图1)。
为了闭合由此获得的容器主体,稍后在容器主体100已填充食物之后,将闭合封盖(图1中未示出)密封在边沿102的上表面上。褶皱103损害闭合封盖与边沿的完美密封,并且不能获得气密密封。具体地,在边沿的表面处形成的褶皱在容器主体100的径向方向上取向,并且它们损害边沿的正确平坦度。因此,当将上部封盖密封到所述边沿上时,沿着褶皱形成径向通道,氧气和水分能够通过该径向通道从容器外部循环到所述容器的内部隔室中,从而快速降低其中容纳的食物的质量。
为了解决这个问题,本发明提出使用密封头,该密封头的一个模具具有带有特定轮廓的密封表面。根据本发明的密封头的示例在图4处被部分地示出为具有容器主体30和其中的闭合封盖34。密封头包括具有环形顶部密封表面4的固定下部模具(第一模具)2和具有底部密封表面10的活动上部模具(第二模具)8,配合的密封表面4和10为圆形并且具有对应于容器主体30的边沿31的宽度的宽度。
第一模具2的密封表面4包括圆形肋6,而第二模具8的密封表面10是平坦的(平面的)。肋6在边沿的下侧中形成密封沟槽12,该密封沟槽消除了褶皱(图4中未示出此类褶皱)。更确切地说,在与褶皱的方向正交的方向上形成沟槽12通过将边沿的材料推回到每个褶皱的空的空间中而“平坦化”并因此重新闭合褶皱。因此,至少在沟槽的区域中,通过材料的变形消除了边沿的周边上的所有褶皱。在本发明的一个高度优选的实施方案中,沟槽形成于边沿的下侧上(如图4所示),但除褶皱沟槽可形成于容器边沿的上表面上。通过在边沿的下侧上形成沟槽,如图4所示,边沿的上表面被保留,并且更重要的是,所述边沿的整个表面原则上保持完全平坦。因此,之后密封顶部封盖要容易得多,从而保持所得容器的密封完整性。
肋6具有选择的尺寸h(高度)和w(宽度),使得雕刻在边沿中的密封沟槽12的高度介于0.1mm和3mm之间,并且密封沟槽12的宽度介于0.15mm和5mm之间。肋6的尺寸可略微高于所需密封沟槽12的尺寸,这取决于构成容器主体的材料的弹性。此外,肋6的宽度优选地小于其高度的三倍。在任何情况下,根据本发明,肋6的高度和密封沟槽12的高度应当高于容器主体30的褶皱的最大深度,褶皱深度取决于容器主体的尺寸、材料和成形条件等。
应当理解,对本文所述的目前优选的实施方案作出的各种变化和修改对于本领域的技术人员将为显而易见的。可在不脱离本发明的实质和范围并在不减少所伴随的优点的情况下作出这些变化和修改。因此,此类变化和修改旨在由所附权利要求书涵盖。

Claims (12)

1.用于生产气密的一次性食物容器的制造方法,所述方法包括:
-形成具有周边边沿(31)的容器主体(30),
-将所述容器主体置于具有第一模具(2)和第二模具(8)的密封头中,所述第一模具和所述第二模具中的至少一者是活动的,所述第一模具和所述第二模具具有面向所述边沿(31)的配合的环形密封表面(4,10),
-在所述容器主体(30)上施加闭合封盖(34),
-通过将所述第一模具(2)和所述第二模具(8)彼此抵靠地施加而用所述容器主体的所述边沿(31)密封所述闭合封盖(34),其特征在于所述第一模具(2)在其密封表面(4)上设置有环形肋(6),所述肋具有至少等于在形成所述容器主体时可能出现在所述边沿上的褶皱的最大深度的高度(h),由此当将所述闭合封盖(34)密封到所述容器主体(30)时,通过所述肋(6)在所述边沿的一侧中形成密封沟槽(12),所述闭合封盖在所述密封沟槽的前面结合到所述边沿。
2.根据权利要求1所述的制造方法,其中所述容器主体(30)由纸/PLA层压件的片材制成。
3.根据权利要求2所述的制造方法,其中所述容器主体(30)由50μm的PLA-PVOH-PLA片材与130g/m2的可成形纸层压制成,并且其中所述闭合封盖(34)由包括PLA屏障的片材与30g/m2的纸层压制成。
4.根据权利要求1至3中的一项所述的制造方法,其中所述第一模具(2)为立式压机的下部模具,并且所述第二模具(8)为上部模具,由此所述密封沟槽(12)被雕刻在所述边沿(31)的下侧中。
5.根据权利要求1至4中的一项所述的制造方法,其中所述第二模具(8)的所述密封表面(10)为平坦且刚性的。
6.气密的一次性食物容器,所述气密的一次性食物容器包括具有周边边沿(31)的容器主体(30)和闭合所述容器主体的闭合封盖(34),其特征在于
-所述容器主体由纸层压材料制成并至少在所述边沿处具有褶皱,所述褶皱基本上径向地延伸,
-所述气密的一次性食物容器具有在所述边沿的一侧上雕刻的环形密封沟槽(12),所述环形密封沟槽基本上围绕整个所述边沿在周向方向上连续地延伸,并且具有至少等于所述褶皱的最大深度的深度,由此所述褶皱由所述密封沟槽平坦化,所述闭合封盖(34)至少在所述密封沟槽(12)的区域中结合到所述容器主体的所述边沿。
7.根据权利要求6所述的气密的一次性食物容器,其中所述闭合封盖具有至少在所述边沿处平坦的顶部表面。
8.根据权利要求6和7中的一项所述的气密的一次性食物容器,其中雕刻在所述边沿中的所述密封沟槽(12)形成于所述边沿的下侧中。
9.根据权利要求6至8中的一项所述的气密的一次性食物容器,其中雕刻在所述边沿中的所述密封沟槽(12)具有介于0.15mm和5mm之间的宽度,以及介于0.05mm和3mm之间的高度。
10.根据权利要求6至9中的一项所述的气密的一次性食物容器,其中所述容器主体由纸/PLA层压件的片材制成。
11.根据权利要求10所述的气密的一次性食物容器,其中所述容器主体(30)由50μm的PLA-PVOH-PLA片材与130g/m2的可成形纸层压制成,并且其中封盖膜(34)由包括PLA屏障的片材与30g/m2的纸层压制成。
12.咖啡荚包,其特征在于,所述咖啡荚包包括根据权利要求6至11中的一项所述的气密的一次性食物容器。
