技术领域
本公开涉及负极。
背景技术
随着近年来的个人电脑、摄像机和移动电话等信息关联设备和通信设备等的快速普及,作为其电源利用的电池的开发正受到重视。另外,在汽车产业界中,电动汽车用或混合动力汽车用的高输出且高容量的电池的开发也正在进行。
全固体电池中,全固体锂离子电池在利用与锂离子的移动相伴的电池反应因而能量密度高这方面、另外在作为介于正极和负极之间的电解质使用固体电解质代替包含有机溶剂的电解液这方面受到关注。
含有能与Li形成合金的Si等金属的活性物质(合金系活性物质)与碳系的负极活性物质相比,单位体积的理论容量大,因此提出了将这样的合金系活性物质用于负极的全固体电池。
在专利文献1中,公开了为了提高全固体电池的循环特性而在负极活性物质层中具有合金系负极活性物质粒子的全固体电池系统及其制造方法。
在专利文献2中,记载了可使用YbSi2作为非水二次电池的负极材料。
在专利文献3中,公开了实现高容量和良好循环特性的锂离子二次电池用负极材料。

发明内容
发明所要解决的课题
在使用Si系物质作为负极活性物质的全固体电池中,存在如下问题:在全固体电池充电时该负极活性物质膨胀、该全固体电池的约束压力变大。
本公开是鉴于上述实际情况而完成的,本公开的目的在于,提供能抑制全固体电池充电时该全固体电池的约束压力的增加的全固体电池用负极。
用于解决课题的手段
本公开提供负极,其是在全固体电池中使用的具有负极层的负极,其特征在于,上述负极层包含MSi2作为负极活性物质,其中M为选自Yb、Er、Tm和Lu中的任一种元素。
本公开的全固体电池的特征在于,具有正极、上述负极以及配置在该正极和该负极之间的固体电解质层。
发明效果
本公开可提供能抑制全固体电池充电时该全固体电池的约束压力的增加的全固体电池用负极。

具体实施方式
本公开提供负极,其是在全固体电池中使用的具有负极层的负极,其特征在于,上述负极层包含MSi2作为负极活性物质,其中M为选自Yb、Er、Tm和Lu中的任一种元素。
Li离子插入金刚石结构的Si单质的粒子的晶体中时,Li离子被纳入Si单质的粒子的晶体结构内。此时,Si单质的粒子的晶格尺寸变大,Si单质的粒子膨胀。
因此,在使用晶体结构为金刚石结构的Si单质的晶体作为全固体电池的负极活性物质的情况下,存在在反复电池的充放电时在负极内部产生裂纹、电池寿命显著地下降这样的问题、或在电池的充电时向电池的约束部件施加非常大的应力因而需要刚性高的约束结构这样的问题等。
本研究人员发现,通过使用具有AlB2型晶体结构的由MSi2(M为选自Yb、Er、Tm和Lu中的任一种元素)表示的物质作为全固体电池的负极活性物质,能抑制全固体电池充电时该全固体电池的约束压力的增加。
在具有AlB2型晶体结构的由MSi2(M为选自Yb、Er、Tm和Lu中的任一种元素)表示的物质中,Si元素形成层状结构,M元素配置在结构中的Si元素的层间。然后,Li被吸留于Si元素的层间,由此推定能抑制全固体电池充电时的负极活性物质的膨胀。
[负极]
负极包含负极层,根据需要包含负极集电体。
负极层包含MSi2(M为选自Yb、Er、Tm和Lu中的任一种元素)作为负极活性物质,作为任选成分可包含固体电解质、导电材料和粘合剂等。
作为负极活性物质,除了上述MSi2以外,也可以根据需要一并使用作为以往公知的负极活性物质使用的材料。
作为负极活性物质的由上述MSi2表示的物质,具体可举出硅化镱(YbSi2)、硅化铒(ErSi2)、硅化铥(TmSi2)和硅化镥(LuSi2)等,优选硅化镱(YbSi2)。
上述MSi2表示的物质可具有AlB2型晶体结构。
本公开中使用的硅化镱(YbSi2)在通过使用了CuKα的X射线衍射(XRD)测定而得到的XRD谱中在2θ=21.6°、26.8°、34.7°、44.0°、47.4°、52.4°、60.2°和66.8°的位置具有峰。予以说明,上述峰的位置可以多少有些偏离,该偏离允许在上述2θ值±0.5°的范围内。关于本公开的2θ值,“±0.5°”是指2θ值的偏离的允许范围。
对于负极活性物质的XRD测定条件为以下那样。

另外,本公开中使用的硅化镱(YbSi2)在利用能量分散型X射线(EDX)的元素分析中可确认Yb元素和Si元素的存在。
对负极层中的上述MSi2的含量没有特别限定,从抑制全固体电池的约束压力的增加的观点出发,优选在将负极层的总质量设为100质量%时为50质量%以上、90质量%以下。
对负极活性物质的形状没有特别限定,例如可举出粒子状和薄膜状等,从使负极层内的负极活性物质的分散性良好的观点出发,优选为粒子状。
负极活性物质为粒子时的该粒子的平均粒径(D50)例如可以为1nm以上100μm以下,也可以为10nm以上30μm以下。
负极层中包含的导电材料、粘合剂、固体电解质可举出与在后述的正极层中包含的材料相同的材料。
作为形成负极层的方法,没有特别限定,可举出将包含负极活性物质和根据需要的导电材料、粘合剂等其它成分的负极合剂的粉末进行加压成型的方法等。另外,作为形成负极层的方法的其它例子,可举出如下方法等:准备包含负极活性物质、溶剂和根据需要的导电材料、粘合剂等其它成分的负极用浆料,将该负极用浆料涂布在负极集电体或固体电解质层的一面上,将该负极用浆料干燥,形成负极层。负极用浆料中使用的溶剂可举出与在后述的正极层用浆料中使用的溶剂同样的溶剂。将负极用浆料涂布在负极集电体或固体电解质层的一面上的方法可举出与后述的涂布正极用浆料的方法同样的方法。
负极集电体可使用能作为全固体电池的集电体使用的公知的金属。作为这样的金属,可例示包含选自Cu、Ni、Al、V、Au、Pt、Mg、Fe、Ti、Co、Cr、Zn、Ge和In中的一种或两种以上的元素的金属材料。
对负极集电体的形态没有特别限定,可采用箔状、网孔状等各种形态。
作为负极整体的形状,没有特别限定,可以为片材状。该情况下,对作为负极整体的厚度没有特别限定,可根据目标的性能适当确定。
[全固体电池]
本公开的负极用于全固体电池。
本公开的全固体电池的特征在于,具有正极、上述负极以及在该正极和该负极之间配置的固体电解质层。
图1是示出本公开的全固体电池的一例的断面示意图。予以说明,在本案说明书中添加的附图中,为了方便图示和容易理解,适当缩小尺寸并将纵横的尺寸比等由实物的尺寸比等改变并夸大。
如图1所示,全固体电池100具备:包含正极层12和正极集电体14的正极16,包含负极13和负极集电体15的负极17,以及配置在正极16和负极17之间的固体电解质层11。
[正极]
正极至少包含正极层,根据需要包含正极集电体。
正极层包含正极活性物质,作为任选成分可包含固体电解质、导电材料和粘合剂等。
关于正极活性物质的种类没有特别限制,例如可举出:LiCoO2、LiNixCo1-xO2(0<x<1)、LiNi1/3Co1/3Mn1/3O2、LiMnO2、异种元素置换Li-Mn尖晶石(LiMn1.5Ni0.5O4、LiMn1.5Al0.5O4、LiMn1.5Mg0.5O4、LiMn1.5Co0.5O4、LiMn1.5Fe0.5O4、LiMn1.5Zn0.5O4)、钛酸锂(例如Li4Ti5O12)、磷酸金属锂(LiFePO4、LiMnPO4、LiCoPO4、LiNiPO4)、过渡金属氧化物(V2O5、MoO3)、TiS2、LiCoN、Si、SiO2、Li2SiO3、Li4SiO4和储锂性金属间化合物(例如Mg2Sn、Mg2Ge、Mg2Sb、Cu3Sb)等。
对正极活性物质的形状没有特别限定,可以为粒子状。
在正极活性物质的表面可形成有含有Li离子传导性氧化物的涂层。这是因为能抑制正极活性物质与固体电解质的反应。
作为Li离子传导性氧化物,例如可举出LiNbO3、Li4Ti5O12和Li3PO4等。涂层的厚度的下限例如为0.1nm以上,可以为1nm以上。另一方面,涂层的厚度的上限例如为100nm以下,可以为20nm以下。
对正极层中的正极活性物质的含量没有特别限定,例如在10质量%~100质量%的范围内。
用于正极层的固体电解质可举出与后述的固体电解质层中使用的固体电解质同样的固体电解质。
对正极层中的固体电解质的含有比例没有特别限定。
作为导电材料,可使用公知的导电材料,例如可举出碳材料和金属粒子等。作为碳材料,例如可举出选自乙炔黑和炉法炭黑等炭黑,碳纳米管和碳纳米纤维中的至少一种,其中,从电子传导性的观点出发,优选为选自碳纳米管和碳纳米纤维中的至少一种。该碳纳米管和碳纳米纤维可以为VGCF(气相法碳纤维)。作为金属粒子,可举出Ni、Cu、Fe和SUS等的粒子。对正极层中的导电材料的含量没有特别限定。
作为粘合剂,例如可举出丁二烯橡胶、氢化丁二烯橡胶、苯乙烯丁二烯橡胶(SBR)、氢化苯乙烯丁二烯橡胶、腈基丁二烯橡胶、氢化腈基丁二烯橡胶和乙烯丙烯橡胶等橡胶类粘合剂;聚偏二氟乙烯(PVdF)、聚偏二氟乙烯-聚六氟丙烯共聚物(PVDF-HFP)、聚四氟乙烯和氟系橡胶等氟化物系粘合剂;聚乙烯、聚丙烯和聚苯乙烯等聚烯烃类热塑性树脂;聚酰亚胺和聚酰胺酰亚胺等酰亚胺类树脂、聚酰胺等酰胺类树脂;聚丙烯酸甲酯和聚丙烯酸乙酯等丙烯酸类树脂;聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯和聚甲基丙烯酸乙酯等甲基丙烯酸类树脂等。对正极层中的粘合剂的含量没有特别限定。
关于正极层的厚度,没有特别限定。
正极层可用以往公知的方法形成。
例如,通过将正极活性物质和粘合剂投入溶剂中,将它们搅拌,从而制作正极用浆料,将该浆料涂布在正极集电体等基板的一面上并使其干燥,由此得到正极层。
溶剂例如可举出醋酸丁酯、丁酸丁酯、庚烷和N-甲基-2-吡咯烷酮等。
对将正极用浆料涂布在正极集电体等基板的一面上的方法没有特别限定,可举出刮刀法、金属掩模印刷法、静电涂布法、浸涂法、喷涂法、辊涂法、凹版涂布法和丝网印刷法等。
另外,作为正极层的形成方法的另外的方法,可通过将包含正极活性物质和根据需要的其它成分的正极合剂的粉末进行加压成型来形成正极层。
正极集电体可使用能作为全固体电池的集电体使用的公知的金属。作为这样的金属,可例示包含选自Cu、Ni、Al、V、Au、Pt、Mg、Fe、Ti、Co、Cr、Zn、Ge和In中的一种或两种以上的元素的金属材料。
对正极集电体的形态没有特别限定,可采用箔状、网孔状等各种形态。
作为正极整体的形状,没有特别限定,可以为片材状。该情况下,对作为正极整体的厚度没有特别限定,可根据目标的性能适当确定。
[固体电解质层]
固体电解质层至少包含固体电解质。
固体电解质可举出硫化物系固体电解质和氧化物系固体电解质等。
作为硫化物系固体电解质,例如可举出Li2S-P2S5、Li2S-SiS2、LiX-Li2S-SiS2、LiX-Li2S-P2S5、LiX-Li2O-Li2S-P2S5、LiX-Li2S-P2O5、LiX-Li3PO4-P2S5和Li3PS4等。予以说明,上述“Li2S-P2S5”的记载是指使用包含Li2S和P2S5的原料组合物而成的材料,关于其它记载也同样。另外,上述LiX的“X”表示卤素元素。在包含上述LiX的原料组合物中可包含一种或两种以上的LiX。在包含两种以上的LiX的情况下,两种以上的混合比率没有特别限定。
硫化物系固体电解质中的各元素的摩尔比可通过调制原料中的各元素的含量来控制。另外,硫化物系固体电解质中的各元素的摩尔比和组成例如可用ICP发光分析法来测定。
硫化物系固体电解质可以为玻璃,可以为结晶材料,也可以为具有结晶性的玻璃陶瓷。
硫化物系固体电解质的晶体状态例如可通过对硫化物系固体电解质进行使用了CuKα射线的粉末X射线衍射测定来确认。
在本公开中,玻璃是指结晶度小于20%的材料,玻璃陶瓷是指结晶度为20%以上且低于80%的材料,结晶是指结晶度为80%以上的材料。
结晶度可采用对硫化物系固体电解质进行NMR测定,在得到的NMR谱中,以下述式所示的、将100乘用归属于晶体的峰面积除以全部峰面积的值而得到的值。
结晶度(%)=(归属于晶体的峰面积)÷(全部峰面积)×100
玻璃可通过对原料组合物(例如Li2S和P2S5的混合物)进行非晶处理来得到。作为非晶处理,例如可举出机械研磨。机械研磨可以为干式机械研磨,也可以为湿式机械研磨,优选后者。这是因为能防止原料组合物粘附于容器等的壁面。
机械研磨只要是一边赋予原料组合物机械能一边进行混合的方法就没有特别限定,例如可举出球磨、振动磨、涡轮磨、机械融合、盘式研磨等,其中优选球磨,特别优选行星式球磨。这是因为能高效地得到所期望的玻璃。
另外,机械研磨的各种条件以可得到所期望的玻璃的方式设定。例如,在使用行星式球磨机的情况下,将原料组合物和粉碎用球加入容器中,以规定的转速和时间进行处理。一般地,转速越大,玻璃的生成速度越快,处理时间越长,从原料组合物向玻璃的转化率越高。
作为进行行星式球磨时的台盘转速,例如在200rpm~500rpm的范围内,其中优选在250rpm~400rpm的范围内。
进行行星式球磨时的处理时间例如在1小时~100小时的范围内,其中优选在1小时~50小时的范围内。
作为用于球磨的容器和粉碎用球的材料,例如可举出ZrO2和Al2O3等。
粉碎用球的直径例如在1mm~20mm的范围内。
作为用于湿式机械研磨的液体,优选为具有在与原料组合物的反应中不产生硫化氢的性质的液体。通过从液体的分子解离的质子与原料组合物或玻璃进行反应可产生硫化氢。因此,上述液体优选具有不产生硫化氢的程度的非质子性。另外,非质子性液体通常可大致区分为极性的非质子性液体和非极性的非质子性液体。
作为极性的非质子性液体,没有特别限定,例如可举出丙酮等酮类;乙腈等腈类;N,N-二甲基甲酰胺(DMF)等酰胺类;二甲基亚砜(DMSO)等亚砜类等。
另外,作为非极性的非质子性液体,可举出:庚烷等脂肪族烃类;苯、甲苯、二甲苯等芳香族烃类;二乙醚、二甲醚等链状醚类;四氢呋喃等环状醚类;氯仿、氯甲烷、二氯甲烷等卤代烷烃类;乙酸乙酯等酯类;氟化苯、氟化庚烷、2,3-二氢全氟戊烷、1,1,2,2,3,3,4-七氟环戊烷等氟系化合物。予以说明,对上述液体的添加量没有特别限定,可以为能得到所期望的硫化物系固体电解质的程度的量。
玻璃陶瓷例如可通过对玻璃进行热处理来得到。
另外,结晶材料例如可通过对玻璃进行热处理或对原料组合物进行固相反应处理等来得到。
热处理温度只要是比通过玻璃的热分析测定所观测的结晶化温度(Tc)高的温度即可,通常为195℃以上。另一方面,对热处理温度的上限没有特别限定。
玻璃的结晶化温度(Tc)可通过差热分析(DTA)来进行测定。
热处理时间只要是可得到所期望的结晶度的时间就没有特别限定,例如在1分钟~24小时的范围内,其中可举出1分钟~10小时的范围内。
对热处理的方法没有特别限定,例如可举出使用烧成炉的方法。
作为氧化物系固体电解质,例如可举出Li6.25La3Zr2Al0.25O12、Li3PO4和Li3+xPO4-xNx(LiPON)等。
固体电解质的形状从操作性好的观点出发,优选为粒子状。
另外,对固体电解质的粒子的平均粒径(D50)没有特别限定,下限优选为0.5μm以上,上限优选为2μm以下。
固体电解质可单独使用一种或使用两种以上。另外,在使用两种以上的固体电解质的情况下,可将两种以上的固体电解质混合。
在本公开中,只要没有特别指出,粒子的平均粒径为通过激光衍射·散射式粒径分布测定所测定的体积基准的中位径(D50)的值。另外,在本公开中,中位径(D50)是在将粒子的粒径从小到大排列的情况下,粒子的累积体积成为总体积的一半(50%)的直径(体积平均直径)。
对固体电解质层中的固体电解质的含有比例没有特别限定。
从呈现可塑性等的观点出发,固体电解质层也可含有使固体电解质彼此粘结的粘合剂。作为这样的粘合剂,可例示在上述的正极中可含有的粘合剂等。不过,从防止固体电解质的过度聚集并且能形成具有均匀地分散的固体电解质的固体电解质层等,从而容易实现电池的高输出化的观点出发,固体电解质层中含有的粘合剂优选设为5.0质量%以下。
固体电解质层的厚度可根据电池的构成适当调整,没有特别限定,通常为0.1μm以上1mm以下。
固体电解质层的形成方法例如可通过将包含固体电解质和根据需要的其它成分的固体电解质层的材料的粉末进行加压成型来形成固体电解质层。
全固体电池根据需要具备收容正极、负极和固体电解质层的外包装体。
作为外包装体的形状,没有特别限定,可举出层压型等。
外包装体的材质只要是在电解质中稳定的材质就没有特别限定,可举出聚丙烯、聚乙烯和丙烯酸类树脂等的树脂等。
作为全固体电池,可举出利用了金属锂的析出-溶解反应作为负极反应的全固体锂电池、利用了锂向负极活性物质的插嵌(intercalation)作为负极反应的全固体锂离子电池、全固体钠电池、全固体镁电池和全固体钙电池等,可以为全固体锂离子电池。另外,全固体电池可以为一次电池,也可以为二次电池。
作为全固体电池的形状,例如可举出钮扣型、层压型、圆筒型和方形等。
本公开的全固体电池的制造方法例如首先通过对固体电解质材料的粉末进行加压成型来形成固体电解质层。然后,通过在固体电解质层的一面上对正极合剂的粉末进行加压成型来得到正极层。其后,在固体电解质层的与形成了正极层的面相反侧的面上对负极合剂的粉末进行加压成型来得到负极层。然后,根据需要将集电体安装于得到的正极层-固体电解质层-负极层接合体,从而可制得全固体电池。
该情况下,对固体电解质材料的粉末、正极合剂的粉末以及负极合剂的粉末进行加压成型时的压制压力通常为1MPa以上600MPa以下左右。
作为加压方法,没有特别限制,例如可举出使用平板压机或辊压机等施予压力的压制法等。
作为本公开的全固体电池的制造方法的另外的例子,例如首先通过对固体电解质材料的粉末进行加压成型来形成固体电解质层。然后,将正极用浆料涂布在正极集电体的一面上,使该正极用浆料干燥,从而得到包含正极层的正极。其后,将负极用浆料涂布在负极集电体的一面上,使该负极用浆料干燥,从而得到包含负极层的负极。然后,以正极集电体、正极层、固体电解质层、负极层、负极集电体的顺序的方式将固体电解质层配置在正极层和负极层之间,从而可得到全固体电池。
全固体电池的制造可以在尽可能除去体系内的水分的状态下进行。例如,认为在各制造工序中将体系内减压、用非活性气体等基本上不含水分的气体置换体系内等是有效的。
实施例
(实施例1)
[固体电解质的合成]
作为固体电解质的原料,称量Li2S(フルウチ化学公司制)0.550g、P2S5(アルドリッチ公司制)0.887g、LiI(日宝化学公司制)0.285g和LiBr(高纯度化学公司制)0.277g,将这些原料用玛瑙研钵混合5分钟,得到了混合物。
其后,将混合物转移至容器,在该容器中加入正庚烷(脱水级,关东化学公司制)4g。然后,使用行星式球磨机将混合物机械研磨40小时,从而得到了固体电解质(LiI-LiBr-Li2S-P2S5)。
[正极合剂的制作]
作为正极活性物质,使用了表面实施了LiNbO3的涂覆处理的LiNi1/3Co1/3Mn1/3O2(日亚化学工业公司制)。
作为正极层的原料,称量了上述正极活性物质1.5g、作为导电材料的气相法碳纤维(VGCF,昭和电工公司制)0.023g、上述固体电解质0.239g、作为粘合剂的PVdF(クレハ公司制)0.011g和作为溶剂的丁酸丁酯(キシダ化学公司制)0.8g。然后,使用超声波均质器(SMT公司制,UH-50)将这些原料混合,从而得到了正极合剂(正极用浆料)。
[负极合剂的制作]
作为负极层的原料,称量了作为负极活性物质的YbSi2(LeapLabchem公司制)1.0g、作为导电材料的VGCF(昭和电工公司制)0.03g、上述固体电解质0.280g、作为粘合剂的PVdF(クレハ公司制)0.010g和作为溶剂的丁酸丁酯(キシダ化学公司制)1.1g,使用超声波均质器(SMT公司制,UH-50)将这些原料混合,从而得到了负极合剂(负极用浆料)。
予以说明,YbSi2的基于EDX分析(装置:X-MAX80,堀场制作所公司制)的原子数比为Yb:Si=33.2at%:66.8at%。
另外,对于YbSi2,使用RINT-2500(リガク制)作为X射线衍射测定装置进行了使用CuKα射线的X射线衍射(XRD)测定。将通过该测定得到的XRD谱示于图2。
[固体电解质层的制作]
在1cm2的陶瓷制的模具中称量上述固体电解质0.065g,将该固体电解质以1吨/cm2(≈98MPa)进行压制,从而得到了固体电解质层。
[电池的制作]
在固体电解质层的一面上配置正极合剂0.020g,以1吨/cm2(≈98MPa)进行压制,从而制作了正极层。
然后,在固体电解质层的与制作了正极层的面相反侧的面上配置负极合剂0.030g,以4吨/cm2(≈392MPa)进行压制,从而制作了负极层。
另外,作为正极集电体将铝箔安装于正极层,作为负极集电体将铜箔安装于负极层,得到了全固体电池。
[充放电试验]
对全固体电池以0.245mA进行恒电流-恒电压(CC-CV)充电至4.35V。其后,以0.245mA进行CC-CV放电至3.0V。
其后,再次对全固体电池充电。将此时的充电作为初次充电。在该初次充电中,监测全固体电池的约束压力,测定4.55V时的全固体电池的约束压力,与后述的比较例1的全固体电池的约束压力进行了比较。将结果示于表1。
在表1中,约束压力增加量是将测定了初次充电后的全固体电池的约束压力的、比较例1设为100时的相对值。
另外,图3中示出实施例1的全固体电池的进行了初次充放电的结果而得到的充放电曲线。予以说明,将全固体电池的初次充电后的放电作为初次放电。
(比较例1)
除了如下所述进行了上述的[负极合剂的制作]和[电池的制作]以外,用与实施例1同样的方法制作全固体电池,用与实施例1同样的方法进行了充放电试验。将结果示于表1。
[负极合剂的制作]
作为负极层的原料,称量了作为负极活性物质的Si单质(高纯度化学公司制)1.0g、作为导电材料的VGCF(昭和电工公司制)0.04g、上述固体电解质0.776g、作为粘合剂的PVdF(クレハ公司制)0.02g和作为溶剂的丁酸丁酯(キシダ化学公司制)1.7g,使用超声波均质器(SMT公司制,UH-50)将这些原料混合,从而得到了负极合剂。
[电池的制作]
在上述固体电解质层的一面上配置正极合剂0.020g,以1吨/cm2(≈98MPa)进行压制,从而制作了正极层。
然后,在固体电解质层的与制作了正极层的面相反侧的面上配置负极合剂0.0045g,以4吨/cm2(≈392MPa)进行压制,从而制作了负极层。
另外,作为正极集电体将铝箔安装于正极层,作为负极集电体将铜箔安装于负极层,得到了全固体电池。

如表1所示那样,可知实施例1的约束压力与比较例1的约束压力相比相对较小。因此,证明了通过使用YbSi2作为负极活性物质,与使用了Si单质的情形相比,能降低全固体电池的约束压力。
因此,推定通过使用具有与YbSi2同样的AlB2型晶体结构的MSi2(M为选自Yb、Er、Tm和Lu中的任一种元素)表示的物质作为负极活性物质,能降低全固体电池的约束压力。
(比较例2)
上述[固体电解质的合成]、[正极合剂的制作]和[负极合剂的制作]用与实施例1同样的方法实施,进行下述[电解液的调整]代替上述[固体电解质层的制作],上述[电池的制作]如下所述进行,制作了液系电池。
[电解液的调整]
作为电解质盐使用LiPF6,作为溶剂使用碳酸亚乙酯(EC)/碳酸二乙酯(DEC),调整了电解液。
[电池的制作]
作为分隔体(隔板)准备HIPORE(商品名;旭化成公司制),在上述分隔体的一面上配置正极合剂0.020g,以1吨/cm2(≈98MPa)进行压制,从而制作正极层。
然后,在分隔体的与制作了正极层的面相反侧的面上配置负极合剂0.030g,以4吨/cm2(≈392MPa)进行压制,从而制作了负极层。
然后,使分隔体含浸上述电解液。
另外,作为正极集电体将铝箔安装于正极层,作为负极集电体将铜箔安装于负极层,得到了液系电池。对于该液系电池,用与实施例1同样的方法进行了上述[充放电试验]。
图4中示出对比较例2的液系电池进行了初次充放电的结果而得到的充放电曲线。
如图4所示那样,证实了在使用了YbSi2作为负极活性物质的比较例2的液系电池中,得不到所期望的电池容量。
另一方面,如图3所示那样,证实了在使用了YbSi2作为负极活性物质的实施例1的全固体电池中,得到所期望的电池容量。
推定这是由于在液系电池中,YbSi2与电解液反应而生成覆膜,从而难以形成电解液与负极活性物质的界面,不能确保所期望的离子传导性,因此得不到所期望的电池容量。
另一方面,推定在全固体电池中,YbSi2与固体电解质难以反应,因此难以生成覆膜,在固体电解质与负极活性物质之间形成良好的界面,确保了所期望的离子传导性,因此得到了所期望的电池容量。
Claims (2)
1.负极,其是在全固体电池中使用的具有负极层的负极,其特征在于,上述负极层包含MSi2作为负极活性物质,其中M为选自Yb、Er、Tm和Lu中的任一种元素。
2.全固体电池,其特征在于,具有:正极、上述权利要求1所述的负极以及配置在该正极和该负极之间的固体电解质层。
