Description
Technical Field
The invention belongs to the technical field of agricultural planting, and particularly relates to a method for accelerating germination of eggfruit seeds.
Background
Yolk fruit, also known as Shitouguo, belongs to the family Sapotaceae (Sapotaceae) fruit of the genus Canarium (Lucuma) semideciduous tropical fruit tree. The original ancient copa and the north part of south America, the Guangdong, Guangxi, Hainan and the south part of Yunnan are cultivated sporadically. The fruit is spherical, green when unripe, yellow-green to orange-yellow when ripe, smooth, thin in peel, orange-yellow in pulp, rich in starch, egg yolk-like in texture and fragrant. The fruit can be used for preparing jam, ice cream, beverage or fruit wine except raw food. The tree has beautiful appearance, can be used for ornamental cultivation of garden street trees and courtyards, is a fruit tree planting variety with great market prospect, and simultaneously, the planting of the eggfruit is an effective way for solving the problems of aging of the variety and low market price of rural fruit planting industry and promoting the income increase of farmers.
The yolk fruit seedling raising method comprises seed propagation, cutting, grafting and other methods, wherein the seed propagation and the cutting are commonly used. The circus branches have large damage to the mother trees and small propagation coefficient, so seed propagation is more commonly used. The seed propagation is generally carried out in 1-2 months, mature and plump seeds are selected, washed, stored in sand for accelerating germination for 10-15 days, seeds are dibbled on the surface of a furrow after being exposed to white for 60 days, then the furrow is covered with fine soil with the thickness of 1cm and watered, and finally straw, leaves or a sunshade net is used for shading. However, the traditional yolk fruit sowing method has low seed germination rate, slow germination, irregular germination, weak and small seedlings, undeveloped root systems, low transplanting survival rate and poor seedling condition growth potential, and is not beneficial to the development of the yolk fruit planting industry.
