本发明涉及一种优选用于汽车的、如车门和车窗的孔口范围的型材,尤其是密封型材。它具有一个基体和一个固定在基体上的护件。
这种类型的型材例如用在汽车的内腔的门内衬范围和/或车顶盖板范围,用作内部密封。这类型材用于密封,其护件应具有例如从车顶盖板至相邻构件的光滑的过渡,同时对车顶盖板构成误差补偿。
上述类型的一种已知型材具有一个基体,其上固定着设计为涂敷有材料的PVC构件的护件。已知型材的基体至少部分被这一涂敷有材料的PVC构件覆盖。PVC是一种具有很不美观表面的塑料。在汽车中,尤其是轿车中的由PVC制成的塑料件不能给人们优质的印象。而是,PVC看起来像廉价的塑料,因此,PVC尤其不能用在一流的轿车中。在现有技术中,对于这类汽车是设置PVC的材料涂层。虽然,由于材料涂层达到了护件超一流的外观,然而,由于为此而设置的材料涂层而明显提高了护件的制造费用,因而明显提高了型材的制造费用。
本发明的目的在于,提出一种上述类型的型材,其制造相对于已知的型材的制造更为便宜,且具有尤其适用于汽车的性能。
上述目的按照本发明是这样实现的,即型材的护件由热塑性弹性体制成。
热塑性弹性体是指其表面具有一流外观的塑料。由于一流的外观,热塑性弹性体作为护件也可用于超一流的汽车中。其中,有利的是可以取消涂敷一种材料,从而有利地将护件的制造费用和型材的制造费用降至最低。由热塑性弹性体制成的护件具有的其它优点是,热塑性弹性体是一种可简单回收的材料。因此,尤其在护件制造时产生的过剩热塑性弹性体可以再输给加工过程。
按照本发明的第一种改进结构规定,护件由发泡的热塑性弹性体制成。通过采用发泡的热塑性弹性体可以按有利的方式形成型材的护件的引人著目的表面结构。发泡的热塑性弹性体具有近似于制成的皮革的表面结构。为此,本发明的型材作为密封型材也可用在一流的轿车中,而不需要涂敷材料。最好热塑性弹性体用水发泡,其中,在制造过程中通过改变水的添加量可以按简单和价廉的方式使护件的表面结构符合所需的设计。此外,热塑性弹性体用水发泡是符合环境保护的。
本发明的型材的基体尤其由橡胶制成。橡胶是一种弹性材料,因此,按已知的方式能很好地适用于密封型材。
按照本发明的一个优选的改进结构,护件至少被设计成两层,其中,朝向基体的层由非发泡的热塑性弹性体制成,背离基体的层由最好用水发泡的热塑性弹性体制成。在本发明的型材中,护件同样由热塑性弹性体制成,然而,护件最好设计为两层,并且这两层具有不同的状态。例如,朝向基体的下层是由未发泡的热塑性弹性体制成。该未发泡的热塑性弹性体的下层按有利的方式永久与橡胶的基体相连,因为橡胶和未发泡的热塑性弹性体之间的连接可设计成非常牢固。尤其是这一连接要比橡胶和发泡的热塑性弹性体的连接更为牢固。相反,例如背离基体的护件的上层由发泡的热塑性弹性体制成,该弹性体具有表面结构方面的上述优点。
因此,通过使用由热塑性弹性体制成的多层护件,一方面保证了护件和基体之间的牢固连接,另一方面实现了用具有有利表面性能的护件覆盖基体。为此,通过护件的多层结构尤其在弯曲应力时提高了护件的折叠和弯曲的自由度。至少两层结构的护件最好在一个共同的挤压过程中制成。
为了将护件固定在基体上,可以将护件牢固粘接在基体上。由此可以实现型材的这两构件的永久连接。然而在优先的实施例中是将护件牢固熔接在基体上。在这一优选的固定方式中,以直接相互贴紧实现了型材的两个构件的牢固连接,而不需要使用附加的粘合剂。
尤其对于在轿车的内部所使用的型材最好将护件设计为护唇。护唇可以覆盖基体的很宽的范围,从而不能从轿车的内部看到橡胶的基体。此外,护唇起到了基体和轿车的车顶盖板之间的希望的光滑过渡,其中护唇的凸出端尤其按锐角贴紧在车顶盖板上。
最后,在优选的实施例中规定,护唇具有色泽。通过护唇的着色可以使护唇和型材的可从轿车内部看到的部分有利地适匹轿车的内部装饰。护唇尤其可以具有例如相应于轿车的座位颜色或门内衬颜色或车顶盖板颜色的色泽。
在附图中描述了本发明的一个实施例,从这一实施例中可以看出本发明的其它特征。
图1表示一个本发明的型材尤其是本发明的密封型材的横截面。
所示的型材,尤其是密封型材具有一个基体1和一个固定在基体1上的护件2。基体1被设计成由橡胶制成的插脚。为了稳定基体1,在基体1中嵌入一个设计为U形型材的钢制嵌入件3。
附图中所示的型材作为密封型材用在轿车的用点划线部分表示的门内衬4和按相同方式表示的车顶盖板5之间。基体1在图中所示的上部具有一个用于门内衬4的自由端的插槽8。门内衬4插入基体1的插槽8中。在图中所示的基体1的左侧,车顶盖板5从外朝着基体1的一段引导,其中,门内衬4和车顶盖板5之间的这一空间段被型材的护件2重叠,同时由基体1的该护件2覆盖。为此目的,护件2被设计为其横截面具有约为抛物线拱起形状的护唇。护件2朝向车顶盖板5的自由端重叠车顶盖板5的自由端。
本发明型材的护件2由热塑性弹性体制成。由热塑性弹性体制成的护件2在其抛物线形曲线的很大范围内被设计成双层,其中,朝向基体1的层6由未发泡的热塑性弹性体制成,远离基体1的层7由用水发泡的热塑性弹性体制成。由未发泡的热塑性弹性体制成的层6与用橡胶制的基体1牢固连接。这种牢固连接是通过基体1和护件2的层6的直接熔接实现的。一个凸起9从层6伸入基体1的相应槽10中。凸起9和槽10在通过熔接固定之前用作位置准确地配置护件2和基体1的辅助件和控制件。
背离基体1而朝向汽车内部的层7由于其由发泡的热塑性弹性体制成而具有一流外观的结构表面。由发泡的热塑性弹性体制成的层7可以直接显露在轿车的内腔中,尤其是为了适应相邻的门内衬和车顶盖板不必涂敷材料或设置类似物。然而,由发泡的热塑性弹性体制成的层7可以具有一种与上述构件相应的颜色。

Claims (4)

1.优选用于汽车的如车门和车窗的开孔范围的型材,尤其是密封型材,具有一个由橡胶制成的基体和一个固定在该基体上的由热塑性弹性体制成的护件,其特征为,护件(2)至少被设计为两层,其中,朝向基体(1)的层(6)由未发泡的热塑性弹性体制成,背离基体(1)的层(7)由用水发泡的热塑性弹性体制成。
2.按照权利要求1的型材,其特征为,护件(2)牢固粘接在基体(1)上。
4.按照权利要求1或2的型材,其特征为,护件(2)被设计为护唇。
5.按照权利要求4的型材,其特征为,护唇具有一种色泽。
