技术领域
本发明一般涉及流体分配系统的电磁感应焊接,并且尤其是,用于电磁感应焊接塑料管的感应可焊接管接头(IWPCs)。
背景技术
共同拥有的WIPO国际公开号WO2012/137197 A2(名称为“塑料管流体分配系统的电磁感应焊接”)公开了感应可焊接管接头和用于将感应可焊接管接头夹在塑料管上的电磁感应线圈组件。该塑料管可以由热塑性塑料(尤其包括PVC、PP、PP-R、HDPE等)和热固性塑料(PEX等)制成。塑料管可以整体由单一的塑料制成,或具有多层组成以提供更好的机械和化学性能的结合。WO2012/137197感应可焊接管接头的详细介绍如下,参照图1至图9。
共同拥有的WIPO国际公开号WO 2015/132783 A2(名称为“流体分配系统的电磁感应焊接”),除其它外,公开了塑料安装配件、具有主要的中心管接头部分和减小厚度的侧向管接头部分对的感应可焊接管接头(IWPCs)、具有一体焊料流障碍物(solder flowbarrier)的所谓的辅助感应可焊接管接头(IWPCs),和电磁感应(EMI)线圈反作用钳。在下文中更详细描述了WO2015/132783塑料安装配件,参照现有技术中图10至图16。在下文中更详细地描述了具有较大的中心管接头部分和减小厚度的侧向管接头部分对的IWPCs,参照现有技术中图13和图14。在下文中更详细地描述了具有一体焊料流障碍物的辅助IWPCs,参照图17到图20。
有必要改进塑料管的电磁感应焊接。
发明内容
通常来说,本发明针对的是WO 2015/132783的所谓的辅助IWPCs的改进,该所谓的辅助IWPCs包括一体焊料流障碍物用于防止熔化的焊接衬套(melted solder lining)径向向内流到塑料管腔中,用来减小它的内管径,从而限制流过塑料管腔。本发明的IWPCs包括以下三个组件结构:第一,具有相对的一对感应可焊接插槽的管状的感应可焊接安装件(tubular induction weldable mounting)。该感应可焊接安装件具有固体铁磁性金属感受器套筒(solid ferromagnetic metal susceptor sleeve)和热塑性塑料焊接衬套,该固体铁磁性金属感受器套筒具有相对的一对环形的感受器套筒端面,该热塑性塑料焊接衬套延伸超过该感受器套筒并且具有相对的一对环形的焊接衬套包裹物(an opposite pairof annular solder lining wraparound),该相对的一对环形焊接衬套包裹物将相对的一对环形的感受器套筒端面包在其中。第二,管状的罩,该管状的罩被安装在感应可焊接安装件外部用于外围地封住该感应可焊接安装件且具有相对的一对环形的感应可焊接插槽口边缘(opposite pair of annular induction weldable socket mouth rims),其在相对的一对环形的焊接衬套包裹物边缘(opposite pair of annular solder liningwraparound rims)的侧向使得它们与感受器套筒热隔离。以及第三,管状的管钳(tubularpipe tang),该管状的管钳被设置在感应可焊接安装件(induction weldable mounting)内部,用于指定感应可焊接插槽为感应可焊接管插槽,该感应可焊接管插槽经设计尺寸用来在其中用力滑动插入管端。
在使用时,向感应焊接安装件施加电磁感应能使得焊接衬套熔化,这导致其膨胀。熔化的焊接衬套的体积比它的未熔化的焊接衬套的初始体积增大,由于熔化的焊接衬套被绝热感应可焊接插槽口边缘连同管状的管钳(tubular pipe tang)包住,体积增大导致感应可焊接管接头内部的压力增加,从而确保了改进的密封焊接。
该罩与感应可焊接安装件空间上分开,从而在它们之间提供了空气隔离,以确保在电磁感应焊接操作期间,该罩仅仅被感受器套筒略微加热。该罩优选包括用于辅助对流冷却焊接密封连接头的一些通气孔。该通气孔符合国际UL指形探针标准,用于防止疏忽的用户通过这些通气孔接触热的感受器套筒,通过这些通气孔接触热的感受器套筒会导致严重的用户伤害。该罩还旨在为用户提供关于焊接过程进程的可视指示,直到它的成功完成。

第1部分:共同拥有的WO2012/137197A2,名称为塑料管分配系统的电磁感应焊接
图1至图4显示了感应可焊接管接头100,用于电磁感应焊接一对相同直径的塑料管10。塑料管10的外径为D1,一般在10mm至30mm之间。热塑性塑料管10具有管端11。管端11具有外围的外部的管端面12和外露的环形的管端面13。塑料管10可以整体由单一塑料材料制成或具有多层组成。
感应可焊接管接头100具有纵向管接头轴101并且包括两个相对的感应可焊接管插槽102A和102B,各自准备用于将管端11用力滑动插在其中。感应可焊接管接头100具有两层结构,包括内热塑性塑料焊接衬套103和完全外围地封住内热塑性塑料焊接衬套103的固体铁磁性金属感受器套筒104。
焊接衬套103具有图案化的外焊接衬套表面106,内焊接衬套表面107和一对焊接衬套端面108。焊接衬套103由热塑性材料制成,用来与热塑性塑料管10焊接。焊接衬套103的内径为D2。直径D1和D2是使得管端11要求用力滑动插到管套筒102中以对管端11预压。这样的预压确保焊接衬套103的熔化再导致外围的外管端面12熔化,从而将它们焊接在一起。

现在参照图5和图6描述感应可焊管接头100和两个热塑性塑料管10的电磁感应焊接:管端11被用力插到相对的管插槽102中以对管端11预压。环形的管端面13抵靠在中心向内定向的止动部件114的相对侧面。
电磁感应线圈(未显示)被放置在新形成的组件上,并且射频电流供给电磁感应线圈。电磁感应线圈产生电磁场,该电磁场导致感受器套筒104吸收电磁能。感受器套筒104变热,并同时加热焊接衬套103。焊接衬套103开始熔化,外围的外管端面12也开始熔化,使得感应可焊接管接头100和管端面11一起形成焊接密封连接头120。焊接衬套103在它熔化时也会膨胀,这由来自焊接衬套103的熔化的热塑性材料渗出超过感受器套筒端面112以在焊接密封连接头120的两边形成环形的热塑性塑料渗出物121所证明。

图10至图16显示了T型安装配件300,T型安装配件300用于连接三个相同直径的多层管20,需要使用WO2012/137197感应可焊管接头100或WO 2015/132783感应可焊接管接头140。多层管20具有三层结构,包括外塑料层21、铝芯层22和内塑料层23。多层管20具有外管径D1和内管径D4,外管径D1与塑料管10相同。多层管20包括管端24和外露的环形的管端面26,外露的环形的管端面26具有易于氧化的环形的铝芯端面27。多层管20在感应焊接方面与塑料管10的等同之处在于它们包括外塑料层21。

管端302被设计形状和尺寸用于用力滑动插到感应可焊接管插槽102中,类似于管端24。管钳307被设计形状和尺寸用于用力滑动插到多层管20中,使得它的O型环308与内塑料表面23密封接触。因此,管端302具有与多层管20相似的外管径D1,并且管钳307具有与多层管20的内径基本相同的外径D5和比多层管20小的内径。
图13和图14显示了WO2015/132783感应可焊接管接头140,WO2015/132783感应可焊接管接头140与WO2012/137197感应可焊接管接头100的不同之处在于它包括较大的中心管接头部分141和分别在感应可焊接管插槽对102处的较小的侧向管接头部分对142。感应可焊接管接头140的长度为L1,较大的中心管接头部分141具有长度L2,并且每个较小的侧向管接头部分142具有长度L3,其中L1=L2+2L3且L2>1/2L1。
较大的中心管接头部分141的厚度为T1,每个较小的侧向管接头部分142具有厚度T2,其中T2<T1。与较大的中心接头部分141相比,每个较小的侧向管接头部分142的厚度减小使得它们每单位长度吸收的感应能比较大的中心管接头部分141小,从而确保较大的中心管接头部分141相比较小的侧向管接头部分对142被感应加热到更高的温度。通常T2≈1/2T1。较小的侧向管接头部分对142优选形成有径向的小直径孔132。
图15显示了预焊接连接头145的管端302、感应可焊接管接头140和多层管20。图16显示了在以类似上述WO2012/137197中所解释的方式对预焊接连接头145施加感应能之后的焊接密封连接头147。
图17至图19显示了WO2015/132783具有一体的焊料流障碍物150的所谓的辅助的感应可焊接管接头,由WO2015/132783感应可焊接管接头140改进得到。辅助的感应可焊接管接头150包括感应可焊接管接头151、焊料流障碍物152和用于将焊料流障碍物152安装在感应可焊接管接头151内的安装装置153。焊料流障碍物152包括由安装装置153利用的中心法兰154。合适的安装装置153,除其它外,包括机械装置、粘合等。焊料流障碍物152优选由可溶性材料组成,用于在流体流过它之后溶解之前初始地辅助两个多层管20的感应焊接过程。

图20A到图20C显示了辅助的感应可焊接管接头150用于端对端感应焊接两个多层管20的使用。
图20A显示了在将多层管20用力滑动插入插到相对的感应可焊接管插槽102中,直到它们各自外露的环形的管端面26抵靠在中心向内定向的止动部件114上时,辅助的感应可焊接管接头150和多层管20的预焊接连接头160。管钳对156被滑动插到管端24中。环形管端面26和辅助的感应可焊接管接头150形成环形的接触区161A和161B,环形的接触区161A和161B外部由内热塑性塑料焊接衬套103限定并且内部由焊料流障碍物152限定。
图20B显示了在以类似上述WO2012/137197中所解释的方式向预焊接连接头160施加感应能之后的焊接密封连接头162。内热塑性塑料焊接衬套103熔化且膨胀以径向向内朝向焊料流障碍物152并且还外围地沿管端302和多层管20流动以形成环形的热塑性塑料渗出物121。
图20C显示了在焊料流障碍物152已被流过多层管20的流体F溶解之后的焊接密封连接头162。
第3部分:具有热绝缘的感应可焊接插槽口边缘的感应可焊接管接头
图21显示了用于端对端焊接相同直径的塑料30的塑料管对的感应可焊接管接头400。每个塑料管30具有斜口管端(beveled pipe end)31、具有外管径D10的外部的外围的管表面32、具有内管径D11的内部的外围的管表面33和环形的管端面34。外管径D10通常在10mm至90mm之间。塑料管30可以由单一的塑料材料制成或具有多层组成。
图21至图24显示了感应可焊接管接头400包括如下三个组件结构:第一、具有感应可焊接安装件中心线402的管状的感应可焊接安装件401和将感应可焊接安装件401分为相对的一对感应可焊接插槽404A和404B的中间窄腰(central narrow waist)403。第二、管状的罩406,其外围地被安装在感应可焊接安装件401上。以及第三、管状的双端管钳407,其被安装在感应可焊接安装件401内,用于指定感应可焊接插槽404A和404B为感应可焊接管插槽408A和408B,经设计尺寸用于将斜口管端31用力滑动插到感应可焊接管插槽408A和408B中。双端管钳407起到了WO 2015/132783焊料流障碍物的作用。
感应可焊接安装件401包括在中间窄腰403侧向的一对相对的较大部分409A和409B,和相应地在相对的一对主要部分409A和409B侧向的相对的一对较小部分411A和411B。相比相对的一对较小部分411,相对的一对较大部分409在感应可焊接安装件中心线402的径向方向上具有更大的厚度。中间窄腰403经设计用于在斜口管端31滑动插到感应可焊接管插槽408A和408B中时,紧贴地接收它们。感应可焊接安装件401具有总长度L11。
感应可焊接安装件401包括热塑性焊接衬套412,热塑性焊接衬套412具有内焊接衬套表面413,外焊接衬套表面414和相对的一对环形的焊接衬套边缘416A和416B。热塑性焊接衬套412由能够焊接到塑料管30的合适的材料制成。内焊接衬套表面413具有内焊接衬套表面直径D12,其中D12比外管径D10略窄,从而需要将斜口管端31用力滑动插到感应可焊接管插槽408A和408B中。
感应可焊接安装件401还包括固体铁磁性金属感受器套筒417,该固体铁磁性金属感受器套筒417具有外感受器套筒表面418、内感受器套筒表面419和相对的一对环形的感受器套筒端面421A和421B。内感受器套筒表面419与外焊接衬套表面414紧密接触,用于在电磁感应焊接操作期间将热传递给外焊接衬套表面414。感受器套筒417优选地具有沿着它的均匀厚度,以便在相对的一对较大部分409比在相对的一对较小部分411处焊接衬套412的厚度更厚。
感受器套筒417完全地外围地封住焊接衬套412。焊接衬套412沿感应可焊接安装件中心线402延伸超过感受器套筒417,使得相对的一对环形的焊接衬套边缘416A和416B相应地在相对的一对环形的感受器套筒端面421A和421B的侧向。相对的一对环形的焊接衬套边缘416A和416B相对于感应可焊接安装件中心线402径向向外延伸用于覆盖相对的一对环形的感受器套筒端面421A和421B。相对的一对环形的焊接衬套边缘416A和416B包裹相对的一对环形的感受器套筒端面421A和421B用于将它们包在里面。相对的一对环形的焊接衬套边缘416A和416B使在它们之间的外感受器套筒表面418的较大部分暴露。
罩406包括两个半圆柱形罩对半物422A和422B和与感应可焊接安装件的中间窄腰403对齐的中间窄的罩腰423。罩406通常由合适的塑料材料(例如PA66等)制成。罩406具有外部的外围的罩表面424,和在相对的一对环形的焊接衬套边缘416A和416B的侧向的一对相对的环形的感应可焊接插槽口边缘426A和426B。
一对相对的环形的感应可焊接插槽口边缘426A和426B通过相对的一对环形的焊接衬套边缘416A和416B与相对的一对感受器套筒端面421A和421B热隔离,从而有效地形成未加热区。环形的热绝缘感应可焊接插槽口边缘426A和426B相当于冷热水装置的塑料管道系统的国际标准ISO 22391-3所规定的配件的所谓的L3标称未加热进水长度(so-calledL3 nominal unheated entrance length of fitting as set out in InternationalStandard ISO 22391-3Plastic piping systems for hot and cold waterinstallations)(由制造商申报的配件口和熔化区的起点之间的距离)—聚乙烯的提高的耐热性(PE-RT)—第3部分:Fittings第9页图2。环形感应可焊接插槽口边缘426A和426B具有内径,使得在将塑料管对30用力滑动插到感应可焊接管插槽408A和408B中时,它们对塑料管对进行密封。

双端管钳407采用合适的制造工艺安装在中间窄腰403上。双端管钳407包括相对的一对管钳429A和429B,相对的一对管钳429A和429B相应地被布置在一对相对的感应可焊接管插槽408A和408B中,使得双端管钳307起到了焊料流障碍物的作用。管钳429A和429B具有类似内管径D11的外管钳直径D13,用于对内部的外围的管表面33进行密封。双端管钳407是由具有熔化温度高于焊接衬套412的合适的塑料材料制成。双端管钳407具有总管钳长度L13,其中L13是约1/2L11。
图25和图26显示了感应可焊接管接头400和塑料管对30的预焊接连接头501。在向感应可焊接管接头400施加电磁感应能时,焊接衬套开始熔化并且膨胀。熔化的焊接衬套412由感受器套筒417、热绝缘感应可焊接插槽口边缘426A和426B以及双端管钳407包住,除了从等间距的指示孔428中渗出的小体积,其沿塑料管30形成细长的渗出物503,以指示电磁感应焊接操作的进展情况。这种包住有利于在管端31与焊接衬套412之间牢固的熔接。图27和图28显示了预焊接连接头501的电磁感应焊接之后的焊接密封连接头502,这由焊接衬套412和斜口管端31在感应焊接安装件的中间窄腰403的相对侧处熔接在一起所证明。在向感应焊管接头400中断电磁感应能后,周围空气的自然向上流动穿过围绕焊接密封连接头502的罩24,用于对流冷却接密封连接头502,如波浪形箭头所示。
图29和图30显示了相应地准备用来与斜口塑料管30和非斜口塑料管10一起使用的感应可焊接管接头431和432。后者431和432与感应可焊接管接头400相似,但不同之处在于,后者431和432相应地包括感应可焊接安装件433和434,感应可焊接安装件433和434每者具有感受器套筒436和焊接衬套437,而没有感应可焊接安装件401的中间窄腰403。
图31显示了类似于感应可焊接管接头400的感应可焊接管接头438,但不同之处在于,后者438准备用来与具有铝芯层22的多层塑料管20一起使用。后者438包括双端管钳439,双端管钳439包括相对的一对管钳441A和441B。双端管钳439具有与感应可焊接管接头438的长度L11几乎在相同范围内延伸的总长度L13,从而使得相对的一对管钳441A和441B各自被设置有空间上隔开的一对O型环442,用于对多层塑料管的内管表面进行密封。
图32和图33显示了感应可焊接管接头443和444,用于除了端对端管连接以外的其它连接目的。感应可焊接管接头443和444可以经改进用来与具有铝芯层22的多层管20一起使用,其方式类似于感应可焊接接头438。
感应可焊接管接头443呈直角弯管配件的形式,该直角弯管配件具有直角设置的感应可焊接管插槽408A和408B。感应可焊接管接头443包括终止在管钳447A和447B处的L形部件446、安装在管钳447A和447B上的感应可焊接安装件401和安装在感应可焊接安装件401上的罩406。
感应可焊接管接头444包括管状部件448,管状部件448具有终止在管钳449处的相对的端和内螺纹451。感应可焊接管接头444包括安装在管钳449上的感应可焊接安装件401和安装在感应可焊接安装件401上的罩406。
虽然本发明的描述涉及数量有限的实施例,但应当理解,本发明的许多变化、修改和其他应用可以在所附权利要求的范围内做出。

Claims (10)

1.用来与塑料管一起使用的感应可焊接管接头,所述塑料管具有管端、外部的外围的管表面、内部的外围的管表面和环形的管端面,所述感应可焊接管接头包括:
(a)管状的感应可焊接安装件,其具有感应可焊接安装件中心线和相对的一对感应可焊接插槽,所述感应可焊接安装件包括:
i)热塑性塑料焊接衬套,其具有外焊接衬套表面、内焊接衬套表面和相对的一对环形的焊接衬套边缘,以及
ii)固体铁磁性金属感受器套筒,其完全地外围地封住所述焊接衬套,所述感受器套筒具有外感受器套筒表面、内感受器套筒表面和相对的一对环形的感受器套筒端面,所述内感受器套筒表面与所述外焊接衬套表面紧密接触,
所述焊接衬套沿所述感应可焊接安装件中心线延伸超过所述感受器套筒,使得所述相对的一对环形的焊接衬套边缘在所述相对的一对环形的感受器套筒端面的侧向并且相对于所述感应可焊接安装件中心线径向向外延伸,用于覆盖所述相对的一对环形的感受器套筒端面;
(b)管状的罩,其被安装在所述感应可焊接安装件上,用于外围地封住所述感应可焊接安装件,并且具有相对的一对环形的感应可焊接插槽口边缘,所述相对的一对环形的感应可焊接插槽口边缘在所述相对的一对环形的焊接衬套边缘的侧向并且通过所述相对的一对环形的焊接衬套边缘与所述相对的一对感受器套筒端面热隔离;以及
(c)管状的管钳,其被安装在所述感应可焊接安装件内部,用于指定所述相对的一对感应可焊接插槽的感应可焊接插槽为感应可焊接管插槽,
装置使得所述焊接衬套具有需要将所述管端用力滑动插到所述感应可焊接管插槽中的内焊接衬套表面直径,
所述管钳被设计尺寸用于对所述内部的外围的管表面进行密封,并且所述环形的感应可焊接插槽口边缘被设计尺寸用于在将所述管端滑动插到所述感应可焊接管插槽中时对所述外部的外围的管表面进行密封,
因此,在对所述感应可焊接管接头施加电磁感应能时,所述感受器套筒熔化所述焊接衬套,所述熔化的焊接衬套被所述感受器套筒,所述管钳和所述相对的一对环形的感应可焊接插槽口边缘包住,从而与所述管端形成焊接密封连接头。
2.根据权利要求1所述的接头,其中所述相对的一对环形的感应可焊接插槽口边缘的至少一个感应可焊接插槽口边缘包括至少一个孔,在所述施加电磁感应能时,熔化的焊接衬套与所述感应可焊接安装件中心线同向地渗出穿过所述孔,以提供关于电磁感应焊接操作的进展的用户指示。
3.根据权利要求1或2所述的接头,其中所述罩与所述感受器套筒空间上分开,从而在它们之间提供空气隔离,用于在电磁感应焊接操作期间隔离所述罩避免被所述感受器套筒加热。
4.根据权利要求1到3任一项所述的接头,其中所述罩具有用于实现自然对流冷却焊接密封连接头的通气孔。
5.根据权利要求1至4任一项所述的接头,其中所述罩包括中间窄腰。
6.根据权利要求1到5任一项所述的接头,其中所述相对的一对环形的焊接衬套边缘相应地包裹所述相对的一对环形的感受器套筒端面,以便在里面包住它们并且使在所述相对的一对环形的焊接衬套边缘之间的所述外感受器套筒表面的较大部分外露。
7.根据权利要求1至6任一项所述的接头,其中所述塑料管包括斜口管端,并且所述感应可焊接安装件包括中间窄腰使得所述感应可焊接管插槽紧贴地地接收所述斜口管端。
8.根据权利要求1至7任一项所述的接头,其中所述塑料管是多层塑料管,所述多层塑料管包括夹在外塑料层和内塑料层之间的铝芯层,并且所述管钳包括至少一个O型环,用于对所述塑料管的内管表面进行密封。
9.根据权利要求1到8任一项所述的接头,并且进一步包括至少一个其它的感应可焊接管插槽。
10.根据权利要求1到8任一项所述的接头,并且进一步包括包含螺纹的接头端。
