Abstract

本发明涉及一种碳化硅纤维上浆剂及其制备方法,该碳化硅纤维上浆剂包括双组分水性聚氨酯分散体10~60份、硅烷偶联剂5~15份、助剂1~8份和水80~120份。将多异氰酸酯、多元醇与扩链剂、水在一定温度下反应形成双组分水性聚氨酯分散体,在双组分水性聚氨酯分散体中添加硅烷偶联剂共混改性,制备得到碳化硅纤维上浆剂。本发明可有效改善碳化硅纤维束表面浆膜柔软性,提高纤维的集束性、耐磨性、强伸性等可织性能。

一种碳化硅纤维上浆剂及其制备方法
技术领域
本发明涉及一种碳化硅纤维上浆剂及其制备方法。
背景技术:
碳化硅纤维具有高强度高、高模量、耐高温、抗氧化、耐化学腐蚀等优异特性。碳化硅纤维预制体作为增强相的复合材料在航空航天、军工武器装备等高科技领域备受关注。由于碳化硅纤维属于脆性材料,断裂伸长率低且弹性小,现有国产碳化硅纤维与进口纤维力学性能的差距大,在生产加工过程中,经机械摩擦易产生毛丝及单丝断裂等现象,使得纤维的强度降低,并且用于增强复合材料的碳化硅纤维预制体在织造过程中,由于受到反复拉伸、摩擦和弯曲等作用,造成纤维束起毛、松散或劈丝,并使织造时开口不清晰,从而导致纤维交织难以顺利进行,严重影响碳化硅纤维预制体的质量,进而严重制约复合材料的性能。为实现碳化硅纤维预制体的稳定生产,在纤维表面进行适当的上浆处理,以提高纤维的耐磨性、强伸性和柔软性等可织性能。
上浆剂可在碳化硅纤维表面形成保护膜,对纤维具有集束的功能,在后续的加工过程中减少摩擦、磨损并防止产生毛丝。同时,碳化硅纤维表面浆膜可有效弥补纤维表面裂纹和缺陷,对提高纤维的承载能力有较大贡献。目前,相比碳纤维上浆的大量报道,对国产碳化硅纤维表面上浆改性及其可织性方面研究较少,并且国产碳化硅纤维的直径比碳纤维大得多,故碳化硅纤维集束和毛丝的收拢难度比碳纤维更大,要求更苛刻。因此,探究碳化硅的上浆工艺、开发性能优异的浆料配方具有重要意义。
发明内容
本发明的目的是提供一种适合工业化应用的碳化硅纤维上浆剂及其制备方法,该上浆剂通过采用硅烷偶联剂改性双组分水性聚氨酯分散体的方法制备,使用该上浆剂对碳化硅纤维束上浆后,可以获得浆膜柔软、具有良好耐摩擦性能的碳化硅纤维束,从而解决了背景技术所提出的问题。
本发明的目的可以通过以下技术方案实现:
一种碳化硅纤维上浆剂,按重量份计,该碳化硅纤维上浆剂包括双组分水性聚氨酯分散体10~60份、硅烷偶联剂5~15份、助剂1~8份和水80~120份;优选的,包括双组分水性聚氨酯分散体15~50份、硅烷偶联剂8~12份、助剂3~5份和水90~110份。所述的硅烷偶联剂作用是共混改性双组分水性聚氨酯分散体。
上述的双组分水性聚氨酯分散体采用以下步骤制备:按重量份计,将多异氰酸酯15~40份与多元醇20~50份加热至60~120℃反应2~4h后,再降温至40~80℃后加入扩链剂1~5份和水80~120份,在氮气保护下搅拌反应1~2h,得到双组分水性聚氨酯分散体。
所述的多元醇为聚四氢呋喃二醇、聚氧化丙稀二醇、聚丙二醇、聚乙二醇、聚乙二酸乙二醇酯二醇、聚己二酸一缩二乙二醇中的一种或多种;
所述的多异氰酸酯为甲苯二异氰酸酯(TDI)、异氰酸酯三聚体、二苯基甲烷二异氰酸酯(MDI)、多次亚甲基多苯基多异氰酸酯(PAPI)、六亚甲基二异氰酸酯(HDI)、异佛尔酮二异氰酸酯(IPDI)、4,4-亚甲基-二苯基甲烷二异氰酸酯(MDI)中的一种或多种。
所述的扩链剂为2,2-二羟甲基丙酸、乙二胺基乙磺酸钠、丁二胺、1,4-丁二醇、N-甲基二乙醇胺中的一种或多种。
所述的助剂为甲基吡咯烷酮、丙酮、甲乙酮、乙酸乙酯、三乙胺、乙酰苯胺、二甲基乙醇胺中的一种或多种。
所述的硅烷偶联剂为γ一氨丙基三乙氧基硅烷(KH550),但不限于此。
本发明所述的碳化硅纤维上浆剂的制备方法,包括以下步骤:
(1)制备双组分水性聚氨酯分散体:按重量份计,将多异氰酸酯15~40份与多元醇20~50份加热至60~120℃反应2~4h后,再降温至40~80℃后加入扩链剂1~5份和水80~120份,在氮气保护下搅拌反应1~2h,得到双组分水性聚氨酯分散体;
(2)将步骤(1)制备的双组分水性聚氨酯分散体、硅烷偶联剂与制剂加入去离子水中,高速剪切乳化得到碳化硅纤维上浆剂。
作为一种优选技术方案,所述高速剪切乳化的条件为:1000r/min高速剪切乳化10-30min。
本发明所涉及的原料除特别说明外,均可通过市场购买获得。
本发明具有如下优点:
本发明在水性聚氨酯中加入硅烷偶联剂后,上浆剂大分子链之间的结合力降低,从而使浆膜变得柔软,纤维束的柔软性能提高。较好的柔软性在纺织工艺中不但可减少碳化硅纤维的表面损伤和脆断头,还保证织物具有较好的外观和性能。
具体实施方式
实施例1:
双组分水性聚氨酯分散体的制备:按重量份计,在5L的反应器中加入将甲苯二异氰酸酯(TDI)15份与聚丙二醇(PPG1000)50份在加热至80℃反应3h,再降温至60℃后加入2,2-二羟甲基丙酸5份和水100份,在氮气保护下搅拌反应1.5h,得到双组分水性聚氨酯分散体。甲苯二异氰酸酯、聚丙二醇、2,2-二羟甲基丙酸和水重量比为15:50:5:100。
硅烷偶联剂共混改性双组分水性聚氨酯分散体的制备:按重量份计,将双组分水性聚氨酯分散体50份、硅烷偶联剂γ一氨丙基三乙氧基硅烷(KH550)10份与三乙胺5份加入去离子水100份中,1000r/min高速剪切乳化25min,得到碳化硅纤维上浆剂。硅烷偶联剂、三乙胺、双组分水性聚氨酯分散体和水的重量比例为:10:5:50:100。
实施例2:
双组分水性聚氨酯分散体的制备:按重量份计,在5L的反应器中加入将甲苯二异氰酸酯(TDI)40份与聚乙二醇(PEG1000)20份加热至75℃反应2h,再降温至40℃后加入N-甲基二乙醇胺(MDEA)1份和水100份,在氮气保护下搅拌反应1h,得到双组分水性聚氨酯分散体。甲苯二异氰酸酯(TDI)与聚乙二醇(PEG1000)、N-甲基二乙醇胺(MDEA)和水重量比为40:20:1:100。
硅烷偶联剂共混改性双组分水性聚氨酯分散体的制备:按重量份计,将双组分水性聚氨酯分散体15份、硅烷偶联剂γ一氨丙基三乙氧基硅烷(KH550)10份与乙酰苯胺3份加入去离子水100份中,1000r/min高速剪切乳化25min,得到碳化硅纤维上浆剂。硅烷偶联剂、乙酰苯胺、双组分水性聚氨酯分散体和水的重量比例为:10:3:15:100。
实施例3:
双组分水性聚氨酯分散体的制备:按重量份计,在5L的反应器中加入将异氰酸酯三聚体(N3300)35份与聚乙二醇(PEG1000)30份加热至75℃反应2h,再降温至40℃后加入2,2-二羟甲基丙酸(DMPA)1份和水100份,在氮气保护下搅拌反应1h,得到双组分水性聚氨酯分散体。异氰酸酯三聚体(N3300)与聚乙二醇(PEG1000)、2,2-二羟甲基丙酸(DMPA)和水重量比为35:30:1:100。
硅烷偶联剂共混改性双组分水性聚氨酯分散体的制备:按重量份计,将双组分水性聚氨酯分散体20份、硅烷偶联剂γ一氨丙基三乙氧基硅烷(KH550)10份与二甲基乙醇胺(DMEA)5份加入去离子水100份中,1000r/min高速剪切乳化25min,得到碳化硅纤维上浆剂。硅烷偶联剂、二甲基乙醇胺(DMEA)、双组分水性聚氨酯分散体和水的重量比例为:10:5:20:100。
本发明在水性聚氨酯中加入硅烷偶联剂后,上浆剂大分子链之间的结合力降低,从而使浆膜变得柔软,纤维束的柔软性能提高。较好的柔软性在纺织工艺中,使碳化硅纤维断头率≤2%,使强度保留率≥95%。除此之外还保证织物具有较好的外观和性能。

1.一种碳化硅纤维上浆剂,其特征在于,按重量份计,该碳化硅纤维上浆剂包括双组分水性聚氨酯分散体10~60份、硅烷偶联剂5~15份、助剂1~8份和水80~120份。
2.根据权利要求1所述的碳化硅纤维上浆剂,其特征在于,所述的双组分水性聚氨酯分散体采用以下步骤制备:按重量份计,将多异氰酸酯15~40份与多元醇20~50份加热至60~120℃反应2~4h后,再降温至40~80℃后加入扩链剂1~5份和水80~120份,在氮气保护下搅拌反应1~2h,得到双组分水性聚氨酯分散体。
3.根据权利要求2所述的碳化硅纤维上浆剂,其特征在于,
所述的多元醇为聚四氢呋喃二醇、聚氧化丙稀二醇、聚丙二醇、聚乙二醇、聚乙二酸乙二醇酯二醇、聚己二酸一缩二乙二醇中的一种或多种;
所述的多异氰酸酯为甲苯二异氰酸酯(TDI)、异氰酸酯三聚体、二苯基甲烷二异氰酸酯(MDI)、多次亚甲基多苯基多异氰酸酯(PAPI)、六亚甲基二异氰酸酯(HDI)、异佛尔酮二异氰酸酯(IPDI)、4,4-亚甲基-二苯基甲烷二异氰酸酯(MDI)中的一种或多种。
4.根据权利要求2所述的碳化硅纤维上浆剂,其特征在于,所述的扩链剂为2,2-二羟甲基丙酸、乙二胺基乙磺酸钠、丁二胺、1,4-丁二醇、N-甲基二乙醇胺中的一种或多种。
5.根据权利要求1所述的碳化硅纤维上浆剂,其特征在于,所述的助剂为甲基吡咯烷酮、丙酮、甲乙酮、乙酸乙酯、三乙胺、乙酰苯胺、二甲基乙醇胺中的一种或多种。
6.根据权利要求1所述的碳化硅纤维上浆剂,其特征在于,采用以下方法制备:
(1)制备双组分水性聚氨酯分散体:按重量份计,将多异氰酸酯15~40份与多元醇20~50份加热至60~120℃反应2~4h后,再降温至40~80℃后加入扩链剂1~5份和水80~120份,在氮气保护下搅拌反应1~2h,得到双组分水性聚氨酯分散体;
(2)将步骤(1)制备的双组分水性聚氨酯分散体、硅烷偶联剂与制剂加入去离子水中,高速剪切乳化得到碳化硅纤维上浆剂。
7.权利要求1所述的碳化硅纤维上浆剂的制备方法,其特征在于,包括以下步骤:
(1)制备双组分水性聚氨酯分散体:按重量份计,将多异氰酸酯15~40份与多元醇20~50份加热至60~120℃反应2~4h后,再降温至40~80℃后加入扩链剂1~5份和水80~120份,在氮气保护下搅拌反应1~2h,得到双组分水性聚氨酯分散体;
(2)将步骤(1)制备的双组分水性聚氨酯分散体、硅烷偶联剂与制剂加入去离子水中,高速剪切乳化得到碳化硅纤维上浆剂。
