Abstract

本发明公开了一种二次电池及其使用的阴极极片。所述阴极极片包括阴极集流体和三元活性物质层,三元活性物质层中包含阴极活性物质;还包括设置在阴极集流体上的底涂层,三元活性物质层设置在底涂层上;所述底涂层包括阴极活性物质、导电剂和粘结剂,底涂层中阴极活性物质的比表面积是三元活性物质层中阴极活性物质比表面积的1.2倍以上。与现有技术相比,本发明二次电池在阴极集流体和三元活性物质层之间设置有底涂层,且底涂层中阴极活性物质的比表面积是三元活性物质层中阴极活性物质比表面积的1.2倍以上,这增加了底涂层和三元活性物质层的接触面积,有利于降低界面接触阻抗,从而有利于提高二次电池的循环性能,降低电池使用过程中的内阻增加。
