Description
本发明涉及一种在单个连接器中含有用以传输电源和电信号的电接点的电气连接器。
由3760335号美国专利所公知的电气连接器包括绝缘外壳和导电信号接点。在外壳的、用来将一对中的一个接点与一对中的另一接点隔开的绝缘分隔板上,成对地组装着这些接点。并联的接点对沿绝缘的分隔板分布。所述接点对特别适合与通讯工业中用作数据和语音传送的双绞线连接。每对双绞线与一对接点相连。由3760335号美国专利所公知的信号接点适合传输较低功率的电信号,但其质量和表面积对散发由电能传输所产生的热量来说,是不合适的。通常的做法是将电源在与双绞线分开的电缆上按规定线路发送,并将电缆接在与接有信号线的连接器分开的电气连接器上。既含有信号接点又至少有一电源接点的单个连接器将不需要独立的连接器。
连接器的另一种变型,含有信号接点和至少一个电源接点的单个连接器适合与电路板连接。
按照本发明的特征,在同一绝缘外壳中,电气连接器既包括信号接点也包括至少一电源接点。按照本发明的电气连接器,适合与双绞线和电源电缆的导线连接。按照本发明的另一种特征,电气连接器适宜与在电路板上按规定线路发送的信号和电源导体连接。
电气连接器包括绝缘外壳、在外壳内沿绝缘的分隔板分布并适宜与相应信号线对连接的并联导电信号接点对、至少一个导电电源接点在分隔板的相对面上有一对接触指,该接触指有足够宽的表面积以散发由电能损耗所产生热量。
现在参考附图,通过实例来说明本发明的实施例,该附图是:

参见图1,每个电气连接器1的插头接插件和插座接插件包含绝缘外壳2,在外壳2中导电信号接点4、5的并联对3,附带至少一个电源接点6。在外壳2的内侧8上沿着绝缘分隔板7分布着信号接点4、5的对3。每对3的信号接点4、5是在分开每对3的信号接点4、5的分隔板7的对面上。信号接点4、5是成排的,并且相互平行。在电源接点6上的一对接触指9是在分隔板7的对面上,并且平行于信号接点4、5展延。每个接触指9的表面积大于每个信号接点4、5的表面积,并且有足够的宽度以散发来自电能损耗的热量。此外,每个接触指9有比每个信号接点4、5更大的质量,以传送电流。当用电源接点6传输电流时,电能损耗产生热量。该热量从电源接点6的表面积上散发出来。电源接点6的较大表面积和较大质量将限制电源接点6所达到的温度。
分隔板7跨接在外壳2的侧壁10、11之间,并与该侧壁10、11连接。分隔板7从外壳2的前配合端口在外壳2的内侧8中向后延伸。在外壳2的内侧8,相隔一定距离配置的间壁13跨接在外壳2的分隔板7和顶壁14之间,以及外壳2的分隔板7和底壁15之间。间壁13连接分隔板7和顶壁及底壁14、15。顶壁和底壁14、15跨接在侧壁10、11之间并连接侧壁10、11,从而形成外壳2的外部。在外壳2中的接点安放腔16被限定在间壁13之间,并在分隔板7后面延伸,以安放信号接点4、5。就电源接点6而论,见图3和9,接触指9与本体部分17连接,该本体部分17有足够宽的表面积,以辐射来自电能损耗的热量。在外壳2中,在侧壁14、15和间壁13之间并在分隔板7的后面的小槽18安放体部分17。每个接点安放腔16小于小槽18。电源接点6能够准确无误地被插入外壳2中的小槽18内,这是由于该小槽18比每个较小的接点安放腔16大,而该安放腔16比本体部分17小。分隔板7在间壁13前面延伸,并且在它的对边与接点安放通道成一直线地配有一系列的凹槽19。凹槽19安放信号接点4、5和接触指9。安放接触指9的凹槽19大于安放信号接点4、5的凹槽19。在每个信号接点4、5上和在电源接点6上的凸尖20抵在外壳2的壁21上,并阻挡接点4、5和6从凹槽19中退出来。每个信号接点4、5和电源接点6是单元式结构,由金属条冲压形成。
对于图1和2-7,下面将说明供安装在电路板(未画出)上的连接器的型式。分隔板7与外壳2的顶壁和底壁14、15相隔一定距离配置。凹槽19面向顶壁和底壁14、15。信号接点4、5的对3适宜与电路板(未画出)连接。呈柱状的电气接线端子从每个信号接点4、5横向往下延伸,以与电路板(未画出)连接,特别是与电路板(未画出)的电镀小孔连接。接线端子22采用沿其长度弯曲信号接点4、5的方法沿横向往下延伸,信号接点4在长度上比信号接点5长。
参见图2-4,本体部分17有与每个接触指9相同的厚度。将接触指9弯曲使其从本体17向外延伸,以致本体部分17的厚度是处于垂直于每个接触指9的厚度平面的平面中。呈一对柱形的接线端子22从每个本体部分17的横向往下延伸,以便与电路板(未画出)连接,特别是与电路板的电镀小孔(未画出)连接。每个接线端子22在表面积和质量上比在信号接点4、5上的每个接线端子22大,从而传导电流、并且辐射由电能损耗所引起的热量。
接线端子22在由分隔板7后面引出的信号接点4、5上。接线端子22在由分隔板7后面引出的电源接点6上。在外壳2的底壁15上的一系列的狭槽23有与底壁15的后端24连通的开口。接线端子22穿过狭槽23伸出来,每个接点4、5的对3的接线端子沿着相同的狭槽23被分开一定距离。外壳2的底壁15装有底板,从底板上伸出球形支脚25,用来搁在电路板(未画出)上。
参见图1和8-12,下面将对电缆连接器进行说明。电缆连接器1适合于与图2-7所示供安装在电路板(未画出)上的连接器1的改型配合连接。电缆连接器1的分隔板17,在前配合端12处,由通道26被分为双叉,以供容纳安装在电路板(未画出)上的连接器1的改型的分隔板7。凹槽19面向着通道26,以便在分隔板7的对面上的接点4、5面朝着通道26。信号接点4、5的对3适合与单根电缆(未画出),或多根电缆(未画出)的信号线27的相应对3相连接。信号线27可以是信号线27的双绞线。在图8中,每个信号接点进一步包含有彼此横向往外延伸的杆28的接线端子22,该杆可弯曲进入开口圆柱体构造中,包围着信号线27并与信号线27连接。另一组杆29彼此横向延伸,该杆29可弯曲进入开口圆柱体构造中,包围并与环绕着信号线27的绝缘30,见图8,相连接。
参见图8、9和11,接触指9从与电源传输线31连接处延伸,该电源传输线31的直径大于每根信号线27的直径。该传输线31可以包括电源电缆。特别是,本体部分17包括带有相互横向往外延伸的杆组32、33的接线端子22,各杆32可弯曲进入开口圆柱体构造中,包围并与电源传输线31连接。该传输线31直径大于每根信号线27的直径,以传送电流。信号线27有较小的直径,因为要求它们传输最重要的电压,而不是电源的电信号。杆组33相互横向地扩大,并且可弯曲进入开口圆柱体构造中,包围并与环绕导线31的绝缘34连接。
在相同的绝缘外壳2中,电连接器1包括信号接点4、5和至少一个电源接点6。电连接器1适合与双绞线4、5和电源电缆的导线31连接。按照另一实施方式,电连接器1适合与在电路板上按规定路线发送的信号和电源导线连接。如需要,可将金属屏蔽件安装在可缠结的连接器的介电外壳上,当各连接器可缠结地被连在一起时屏蔽在电接点之间的电连接。
本发明的优点是含有信号和电源接点的电气连接器。本发明的另一优点在于电源接点的接触指有足够宽的表面积,以散发由于电电能损耗所产生的热量。

Claims (8)
1、电气连接器,包括:
绝缘外壳,多个沿外壳的绝缘分隔板分布的导电信号接点对,将每对的信号接点的一个与信号接点的另一个分开的分隔板,和在分隔板的相对面上有一对接触指的至少一个导电电源接点,其特征在于:有足够宽的以辐射电能损耗引起的热量的表面积的接触指,并且接触指在腔内平行于信号接点延伸。
2、如权利要求1所述的电气连接器,其特征在于:接触指与有足够宽的表面积以辐射电能损耗所引起热量的本体部分相连接,在外壳内在分隔板后面安放有本体部分的小槽,和在外壳内在分隔板后面安放有各接点的各接点安放腔,每个腔小于小槽。
3、如权利要求1所述的电气连接器,其特征在于:每个接触指的质量大于每个信号接点的质量。
4、如权利要求1所述的电气连接器,其特征在于:本体部分有一定厚度,并且接触指有相同厚度,而且将接触指从本体部分弯曲得向外延伸,以便该本体处在垂直于接触指平面的平面中。
5、如权利要求4所述的电气连接器,其特征在于:每个本体部分的杆横向延伸,各杆是可弯曲的,以包围和与电线连接。
6、如权利要求1所述的电气连接器,其特征在于:信号接点是沿分隔板的相对面分布的。
7、如权利要求1所述的电气连接器,其特征在于:每对信号接点在分隔板的相对面上并与信号线的双绞线相连接,电源接点的接触指在分隔板的相对面上并与直径大于每根信号线直径的单根导线相连接。
8、如权利要求7所述的电气连接器,其特征在于:每个接触指有比每个信号接点更大的质量。
