技术领域
本发明总体上涉及用于在诊断分析仪中使用的容器的帽和密封件,并且更具体而言,涉及感应密封容器,该感应密封容器具有可移除帽,以隐藏诊断分析仪中所使用的试剂容器的口部。
背景技术
帽、特别是注射模制的螺帽通常被用于密封例如瓶子之类的容器。帽的主要功能在于使容器保持关闭和无泄漏,直到要使用容器的内容物。
已知螺帽当安装在通过感应密封膜来密封的容器上时可接受地操作。在这样的帽内部,可以包括“导能器”投射器,以将压力施加于容器的顶部喉部表面和膜的热结合层的接触区域。这样的膜可以包括例如聚乙烯和聚丙烯之类的两个聚合物层之间的铝箔层。底部聚合物层通过该铝箔层的感应加热被密封到所述容器的开口,从而将该底部聚合物层熔化并结合到所述容器。所述密封件用于保护所述容器的内容物,并形成所述容器的防漏封闭件。通过移除所述帽并且手动剥离所述感应密封膜或对所述感应密封膜穿孔,来进行对容器内容物的接近。
然而,当用于例如诊断分析仪之类的需要高通量的自动过程中时,,由于所需的操作者引起的时间量和引入交叉污染物的机会,帽的手动移除和膜的手动剥离/穿孔是非期望的。因此,需要在诊断分析仪中以自动的方式提供对容器的内容物的接近,同时减少交叉污染和溢出的可能性。
发明内容
实施例涉及用于密封容器的开口的具有顶孔的可移除帽和具有热感应封闭件的密封件。
在一个实施例中,一种覆盖在体外诊断(IVD)环境中的诊断分析仪中使用的试剂容器的设备包括:包括侧壁和顶壁的帽,所述帽具有处于所述顶壁上并且穿过所述顶壁的开放的进入孔,所述帽构造成附接到所述试剂容器的喉部,所述喉部包括开口;以及用于密封所述试剂容器的所述喉部的所述开口的感应密封件。所述感应密封件包括:第一聚合物密封层,其构造成热密封到所述试剂容器的所述喉部的所述开口的外表面;铝箔层,其布置在所述第一聚合物密封层的顶部上,并且构造成通过感应加热将所述第一聚合物密封层热密封到所述试剂容器的所述喉部的所述开口的所述外表面;以及第二聚合物层,其布置在所述铝箔层的顶部上,并且构造成保护所述铝箔层和第一聚合物层。所述感应密封件可通过所述帽的所述开放的进入孔接近,并且构造成通过穿孔装置打开并在穿孔时保持打开的形状,同时保持粘附到所述试剂容器的所述喉部的所述开口的所述外表面。

具体实施方式
实施例涉及用于密封容器的开口的具有顶孔的可移除帽和具有热感应封闭件的密封件。有利地,根据本文所提供的实施例,当用于诊断分析仪中时,该帽和该密封件不需要被移除以使探针接近容器的内容物,从而消除操作者的帽移除和密封件剥离或穿孔的步骤。根据实施例,通过在不从容器移除帽的情况下刺穿密封件,来提供帽和密封件组合的自动打开。该密封件有利地保持其打开的形状,该打开的形状是对容器的内容物进行无阻碍的非接触探针接近所需的。通过防止意外的探针与容器的内容物以外的表面的接触,来解决交叉污染和水平感测的问题。
尽管实施例关于用于诊断或临床分析仪中的试剂容器来描述,但本发明不限于此。本文提供的帽和密封件可用于期望打开容器上的密封件以便接近容器中所包含的内容物的任何类型的环境中。
参照图1和图2,根据一个实施例,其图示了帽100和密封件150的特征。图1是帽100和密封件150的顶部透视图,并且图2提供了帽100和密封件150的下侧透视图。
帽100包括侧壁110和顶壁120。侧壁110和顶壁120限定了帽100的内部部分130(参见图2)。
如图1和图2的实施例中所示,侧壁110和顶壁120的一部分可在其外表面上具有一系列脊112,以帮助抓持帽100。帽100不限于这种构造,并且侧壁110和/或顶壁120可以替代地具有光滑的外表面或其他表面纹理。
继续参照图1和图2,开放的进入孔122在帽100的顶壁120中并穿过帽100的顶壁120形成。在一个实施例中,该开放的进入孔122是顶壁120中的中心孔。顶壁120的围绕开放的进入孔122的部分包括上部平坦部分124(参见图1)、孔侧壁126(参见图1和图2)和底部投射器(或突出部,projector)128(参见图2)。
如图2中所示,帽100的内侧壁140可包括用于将帽100连接到容器的螺纹142和/或一个或多个突出部144,如下所述。帽100不限于内侧壁140的这种构造,并且可以替代地利用其他设计,例如,具有用于将帽100卡扣装配到容器上的部件的内侧壁140等。
在一个实施例中,帽100由例如高密度聚丙烯之类的聚丙烯形成,但是帽100不限于此。
如图1和图2中所示,密封件150为具有一个或多个突出的突出部152的大致圆形的形状。突出部152可以具有大致正方形或矩形的形状,但在其他实施例中,也可以利用其他形状(例如,三角形)。在一个实施例中,不包括突出部152。在这样的实施例中,密封件150的圆形形状可以具有更大的直径,以适应装配在容器上。
图3是图示了根据一个实施例的密封件150的附加方面的示图。根据一个实施例,密封件150包括三层,即:第一(底部)聚合物密封层160,其包括能够热密封到容器的可热封聚合物;铝箔(中间)层170,其布置在该第一聚合物密封层160的顶部上,其包括铝箔,以通过铝的感应加热来热密封该第一聚合物密封层160;以及第二(顶部)聚合物层180,其布置在该铝箔层170的顶部上,构造成保护该铝箔层170和该第一聚合物密封层160。
层160、170和180中的每一层可以相应地具有一个或多个突出的突出部162、172和182。
在一个实施例中,第一聚合物密封层160包括聚乙烯,并且第二聚合物层180包括聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯。在一个实施例中,包括聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯的第二聚合物层180与铝箔层170形成层压体。
图4是可与帽100和密封件150一起使用的示例性容器200的示图。也可以使用其他类型的容器或容器200的变型,并且帽100和密封件150不限于使用本文所述的示例性容器200。PCT专利申请序号PCT/US14/019078中提供了示例性试剂容器的详细特征,该PCT专利申请的内容在此通过引用整体地包含于本文中。
例如,根据一个实施例,如图4中所示,容器200包括两个储存部分(或包装件)210、220,其构造成保持用于诊断分析仪上的特定板载诊断测试的流体(例如,试剂流体)或其他材料(例如,粉末)。抓持部分230可以在两个储存包装件210、220之间延伸,并且在一个实施例中,该抓持部分230是基本上平坦的表面,该表面可以具有设置在其上的一个或多个突起或抓持部分。
根据本文提供的实施例,每个储存部分210、220相应地包括帽100和密封件150可以附接到的喉部211、221。喉部211包括开口212、喉部侧壁213以及喉部侧壁213的顶表面214(即,开口212的外表面)。喉部侧壁螺纹215可以形成在喉部侧壁213上,用于与帽100的内侧壁140的螺纹142匹配。如上所述,容器200和帽100不限于螺纹构造,并且它们各自可以替代地具有用于将帽100和容器200匹配在一起的其他部件或特征(例如,卡扣配合部件等)。类似于喉部211,喉部221包括开口222、喉部侧壁223以及喉部侧壁223的顶表面224(即,开口222的外表面)。喉部侧壁螺纹225可以形成在喉部侧壁223上,用于与帽100的内侧壁140的螺纹142匹配。
当然,图4中所示和本文参照图4所描述的容器200纯粹是示例性的,并且不限于本文所公开的帽100和密封件150。例如,在一个实施例中,根据本文提供的实施例,待与帽100和密封件150一起使用的容器可以具有单一的储存部分。此外,容器200或其变型不需要被用于储存用于诊断分析仪中的试剂流体。
图5描绘了根据一个实施例的具有密封件150a、150b的示例性容器200,该密封件150a、150b相应地密封到喉部侧壁213、223的顶表面214、224,以覆盖开口212、222。

根据本文的实施例,第一聚合物密封层160通过施加热能(来自铝箔层170的感应加热)和接触压力(来自帽100,并且特别是来自帽100的底部投射器128,其在密封过程期间,将帽100内的密封件150在帽100和容器200的喉部211、221的顶表面214、224之间保持就位)来执行密封件粘附功能,以由于第一聚合物密封层160和容器200的匹配的材料成分,而导致第一聚合物密封层160和容器200的分子结合(molecular bonding)。
根据本文的实施例,铝箔层170执行以下功能:将感应热传递到聚乙烯的第一聚合物密封层160和第二聚合物层180,用于将第一聚合物密封层160分子热密封结合到容器200的喉部211、221的顶表面214、224;以及铝箔层170的可成形和“记忆”成形特性引入了形状保持能力,并且因此,引入了将第一聚合物密封层160和第二聚合物层180“保持打开”的能力。
根据一个实施例,第二聚合物层180被暴露于帽100、密封件150和容器200周围的外部环境,从而为第一聚合物密封层160和铝箔层170提供保护层,使其免于与环境或外部暴露于污染相关的劣化。如此,第二聚合物层180是环境、蒸气和防水密封件。
根据一个实施例,第一聚合物密封层160对容器200的热感应粘附(即,保持)力量(power)大于第一层160对第二层170的力量与第二层170对第三层180的力量之间的剥离力的力量。
在一个实施例中,第一聚合物密封层160的保持力量(holding power)大于使铝箔层170和第二聚合物层180穿孔所需的剪切力。
根据一个实施例,第二聚合物层180包括与帽100不同的材料。在一个实施例中,第二聚合物层180和帽100基于它们各自材料上的不同而与第一聚合物密封层160对容器200在释放力量(releasing power)上具有差异。帽100、箔层170和聚合物密封层160、180之间在材料上的差异将帽100隔离,从而防止帽100到密封件150的感应过程粘附。
在一个实施例中,第一聚合物密封层160的熔化温度高于第二聚合物层180的熔化温度。
如图7中所示,从容器200移除帽100a、100b不会导致对刺穿的密封件155a、155b的损坏或以其他方式影响刺穿的密封件155a、155b,从而防止了由于帽100a、100b的松动引起的泄漏,并且密封件150a、150b或刺穿的密封件155a、155b保持粘附到容器200。由于密封件150a、150b的刺穿,在探针或仪器不接触到刺穿的密封件155a、155b的情况下实现了对容器200的内容物的完全开放的接近。
根据一个实施例,密封件150被放置在帽100的内部部分130内。帽100被附接到容器200的喉部211、221,并且因此,帽100和密封件150通过帽100的投射器128与喉部侧壁213、223的顶表面214、224(即,开口212、222的外表面)接触。根据对于本领域普通技术人员而言已知的方法,帽100和密封件150被暴露于感应热源。密封件150的铝箔层170将热传递到第一聚合物密封层160,以将密封件150结合到容器200的喉部侧壁213、223的顶表面214、224。根据一个实施例,热感应使得第一聚合物密封层160的附接是连续的并且没有空隙,使得第一聚合物密封层160从两个表面(即,容器喉部211、221的顶表面214、224和第一聚合物密封层160的下侧)分子结合。对铝箔层170施加热使得层160的聚合物表面熔化,并且导致聚丙烯的密封层160分子结合到聚丙烯的容器喉部顶表面214、224。在热感应之后移除帽100将不会使容器200的密封表面无效或损害容器200的密封表面,并且密封的封闭件将保持,直到它被穿刺装置穿透或刺穿。通过开启工具或穿刺装置的穿透而刺穿密封件150产生密封件150(即,如图6和图7中所示的刺穿的密封件155a、155b)的下侧卷曲成形,该密封件150由于密封层压体的铝箔层170的张力而保持开放。密封件150的穿透或刺穿可以通过自动化来完成,但也可以用操作者使用的手动工具来手动完成。
根据本文的一个实施例,不需要移除帽100以穿透密封件150,并且一旦进行穿孔,铝箔层170就保持开口156的刺穿形状,以提供对容器200的内容物的持续接近。密封件150的穿透导致形成刺穿的密封件开口156和控制刺穿的密封件开口156的尺寸。仅限于开放的进入孔122的尺寸,卷曲的进入凸缘(即,刺穿的密封件155的开口156)随后成为保持开口并防止探针或其他仪器接触到刺穿的密封件155的物理方法(例如,在一个实施例中,与探针的1.5mm的直径相比,开放的进入孔122包括9.1mm的开口)。铝的凸起维持密封件150的分离并防止刺穿的密封件开口156的缩回或重新闭合,从而消除了探针与沉积在密封件150上的吸入物(aspiration)和雾化颗粒的接触污染。密封件150保持附接到容器喉部顶表面214、224,并且即使在帽100被移除的情况下也保持完整。提供了对容器200的重复的探针接近,包括清空容器200,而不会使密封件150干扰到接近的探针。
如本文所公开的,覆盖容器200并提供对包含在其中的内容物的接近的帽100和密封件150的组合具有若干优点,即:密封件150保护内容物免于浪费和溢出;减少了操作者溢出;减少了污染事件;增加了易用性和可操作性。此外,还防止探针与非预期污染接触的仪器误差,从而对客户而言导致提高的可靠性和性能。在其中容器200用于试剂的诊断分析仪的实施例中,用于试剂探针的容器密封件150的自动打开和准备通过形成没有密封件阻碍的大的接近目标(即,刺穿的密封件开口156a、156b)在试剂探针的单循环或全循环加载期间增加了仪器性能的值。从探针与密封材料接触观察到的非利用小时(non-utilizationhour)被消除。客户利润由于试剂探针接近的可靠性增加以及当前大量的操作者时间的消除而增加。
图8提供了根据一个实施例的可以实施本发明的实施例的示例性系统架构800的布局。图8中示出了:具有相应的探针的各种传送臂810(810a、810b、810c和810d);稀释转盘820,其包括布置在一个或多个稀释环中的多个稀释容器;反应转盘830,其包括布置在一个或多个反应环中的多个反应容器;以及试剂储存区域840a和840b,其专用于储存和供应相应的试剂,每个试剂储存区域840a和840b包括用于多个试剂容器的空间。在操作中,传送臂810a及其相应的探针可以操作以将样品从接近位置传送到稀释转盘820上的一个或多个稀释容器,以在其中产生稀释物。传送臂810b及其相应的探针可以操作以将稀释物从稀释容器传送到反应转盘830上的反应容器。传送臂810c和810d及它们相应的探针可以操作以将试剂相应地从试剂储存区域840a和840b传送到反应转盘830上的反应容器。各种传送通过使用例如附接到传送臂810的例如活塞泵之类的泵送机构(未示出)而发生。此外,系统架构800还包括一个或多个控制器(未示出),用于控制包括传送臂810、探针和转盘的各种部件的操作。
系统架构800中还包括试剂处理系统850,其用于将容器200中的一个或多个传送到试剂储存区域840a和840b和/或从试剂储存区域840a和840b传送容器200中的一个或多个。根据一个实施例,试剂处理系统850包括试剂服务器模块855,在一个实施例中,该试剂服务器模块855是包括用于储存试剂容器200的一个或多个转位环(indexing ring)的冷藏储存包封件。
托盘860被构造成保持一个或多个容器200,用于传送到试剂服务器模块855和从试剂服务器模块855传送。托盘860可由操作者接近,以便将容器200手动装载到托盘860和从托盘860手动卸载容器200,该托盘860可在轨道上移动。
在一个实施例中,设置抓持器组件865以在托盘860和试剂服务器模块855之间自动地传送容器200(根据本文所公开的实施例,带有帽100和密封件150)。抓持器组件865沿水平传送臂870移动,同时抓持容器200以传送容器200。在一个实施例中,抓持器组件865包括一对抓持器指状物,这对抓持器指状物竖直定向并且彼此相对,用于抓持容器200的一部分,并且用于在不移除附接的帽100的情况下刺穿或穿透附接到容器200的密封件150。
图8的系统架构800和所附描述纯粹是示例性的,而非限于本文所公开的帽100和密封件150。系统架构800仅是其中可以使用帽100和密封件150的一个示例性系统。

Claims (20)

1.一种覆盖在体外诊断(IVD)环境中的诊断分析仪中使用的试剂容器的设备,所述设备包括:
包括侧壁和顶壁的帽,所述帽具有处于所述顶壁上并且穿过所述顶壁的开放的进入孔,所述帽构造成附接到所述试剂容器的喉部,所述喉部包括开口;以及
用于密封所述试剂容器的所述喉部的所述开口的感应密封件,所述感应密封件包括:
第一聚合物密封层,其构造成热密封到所述试剂容器的所述喉部的所述开口的外表面;
铝箔层,其布置在所述第一聚合物密封层的顶部上,并且构造成通过感应加热将所述第一聚合物密封层热密封到所述试剂容器的所述喉部的所述开口的所述外表面;以及
第二聚合物层,其布置在所述铝箔层的顶部上,并且构造成保护所述铝箔层和第一聚合物层;
其中,所述感应密封件可通过所述帽的所述开放的进入孔接近,并且构造成通过穿孔装置打开并在穿孔时保持打开的形状,同时保持粘附到所述试剂容器的所述喉部的所述开口的所述外表面。
2.如权利要求1所述的设备,其特征在于,所述铝箔层将感应热传递到所述第一聚合物密封层和所述第二聚合物层,用于将所述第一聚合物密封层分子热密封结合到所述试剂容器的所述喉部的所述开口的所述外表面;并且其中,所述铝箔层的物理性质使所述第一聚合物密封层和所述第二聚合物层在穿孔时保持所述打开的形状。
3.如权利要求1所述的设备,其特征在于,所述第一聚合物密封层包括聚乙烯。
4.如权利要求1所述的设备,其特征在于,所述第二聚合物层包括聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯。
5.如权利要求1所述的设备,其特征在于,所述顶壁的围绕所述开放的进入孔的部分包括上部平坦部分、孔侧壁以及处于所述帽的内部部分内的底部投射器,其中,所述底部投射器提供接触压力,以在所述感应加热期间将所述密封件在所述帽和所述容器之间保持就位。
6.如权利要求1所述的设备,其特征在于,所述帽包括螺旋式帽或卡扣式帽中的一种。
7.如权利要求1所述的设备,其特征在于,所述第一聚合物密封层对所述试剂容器的热感应粘附力量大于所述第一聚合物密封层对所述铝箔层与所述铝箔层对所述第二聚合物层的力量之间的剥离力的力量。
8.如权利要求1所述的设备,其特征在于,所述第一聚合物密封层的保持力量大于穿透所述铝箔层和所述第二聚合物层所需的剪切力。
9.如权利要求1所述的设备,其特征在于,所述第二聚合物层包括与所述帽不同的材料,其中,所述第二聚合物层和所述帽基于它们各自材料上的不同而与所述第一聚合物密封层对所述容器在释放力量上具有差异。
10.如权利要求1所述的设备,其特征在于,所述第一聚合物密封层的熔化温度高于所述第二聚合物层的熔化温度。
11.一种用于在体外诊断(IVD)环境中的诊断分析仪中储存一种或多种流体的设备,所述设备包括:
包括一个或多个储存部分的容器,每个储存部分包括喉部,所述喉部具有喉部侧壁、开口和所述开口的外表面;
一个或多个帽,每个帽包括侧壁和顶壁,所述帽具有处于所述顶壁上并且穿过所述顶壁的开放的进入孔,所述帽构造成附接到所述容器的所述储存部分的所述喉部;以及
一个或多个感应密封件,所述一个或多个感应密封件中的每一个对应于所述一个或多个帽中的一个帽和所述一个或多个储存部分中的一个储存部分的相应的对,所述感应密封件用于密封所述容器的所述储存部分的所述喉部的所述开口,每个感应密封件包括:
第一聚合物密封层,其构造成热密封到所述储存部分的所述喉部的所述开口的外表面;
铝箔层,其布置在所述第一聚合物密封层的顶部上,并且构造成通过感应加热将所述第一聚合物密封层热密封到所述储存部分的所述喉部的所述开口的所述外表面;以及
第二聚合物层,其布置在所述铝箔层的顶部上,并且构造成保护所述铝箔层和第一聚合物层;
其中,所述感应密封件可通过所述帽的所述开放的进入孔接近,并且构造成通过穿孔装置打开并在穿孔时保持打开的形状,同时保持粘附到所述储存部分的所述喉部的所述开口的所述外表面。
12.如权利要求11所述的设备,其特征在于,所述喉部还包括形成在所述喉部侧壁上的喉部侧壁螺纹,其中,所述帽还包括形成在所述帽的内侧壁上的帽螺纹,其中,所述喉部侧壁螺纹和所述帽螺纹被构造成彼此匹配,以将所述帽附接到所述容器的所述储存部分的所述喉部。
13.如权利要求11所述的设备,其特征在于,在不移除所述帽的情况下,所述一个或多个储存部分中的每一个的内容物可通过所述帽的所述开放的进入孔和穿孔的感应密封件接近。
14.如权利要求11所述的设备,其特征在于,所述铝箔层将感应热传递到所述第一聚合物密封层和所述第二聚合物层,用于将所述第一聚合物密封层分子热密封结合到所述储存部分的所述喉部的所述开口的所述外表面;并且其中,所述铝箔层的物理性质使所述第一聚合物密封层和所述第二聚合物层在穿孔时保持所述打开的形状,穿孔的开口保持足够的尺寸以允许试剂探针进入而不接触到所述第一聚合物密封层。
15.如权利要求11所述的设备,其特征在于,所述顶壁的围绕所述开放的进入孔的部分包括上部平坦部分、孔侧壁以及处于所述帽的内部部分内的底部投射器,其中,所述底部投射器提供接触压力,以在所述感应加热期间将所述密封件在所述帽和所述容器的所述储存部分之间保持就位。
16.如权利要求11所述的设备,其特征在于,所述第一聚合物密封层对所述容器的热感应粘附力量大于所述第一聚合物密封层对所述铝箔层与所述铝箔层对所述第二聚合物层的力量之间的剥离力的力量。
17.如权利要求11所述的设备,其特征在于,所述第一聚合物密封层的保持力量大于穿透所述铝箔层和所述第二聚合物层所需的剪切力。
18.如权利要求11所述的设备,其特征在于,所述第二聚合物层包括与所述帽不同的材料,其中,所述第二聚合物层和所述帽基于它们各自材料上的不同而与所述第一聚合物密封层对所述容器在释放力量上具有差异。
19.如权利要求11所述的设备,其特征在于,所述第一聚合物密封层的熔化温度高于所述第二聚合物层的熔化温度。
