Description

Traditional Chinese veterinary medicine composition for treating cat stomatitis and preparation method thereof
Technical Field
The invention belongs to the technical field of pet medicines, and particularly relates to a traditional Chinese veterinary medicine composition for treating cat stomatitis and a preparation method thereof.
Background
With the development of social economy and the improvement of the quality of life of people, the pet industry in China is rapidly developed, and the health of pets is increasingly valued by pet owners and pet doctors. The oral inflammatory ulcerative disease of the cat is one of the diseases which are very common in clinic, and the epidemic unrestrained cats and domestic cats in the clinic have the disease, wherein the epidemic unrestrained cats are more. The disease is complicated in inducement, and stomatitis may occur due to various sharp foreign matters such as stimulation of bone chips, thorns, iron wires, steel needles, wood thorns and the like, damage to irregular teeth, ingestion of corrosive chemical toxins or lack of vitamin A, B2 and the like. In addition, some infectious diseases, such as feline tracheitis virus and feline calyx virus, are the cause of ulcerative glossitis in cats, and some systemic diseases, anemia, can also cause stomatitis to occur. The appetite of the sick cats is reduced or lost in different degrees, abnormal ingestion and chewing are caused, the weight of the sick cats is obviously reduced for a long time, the sick cats are extremely thin, the spirit is low, oral mucosa is inflamed, ulcer and pain are caused, the sick cats cannot suck and chew, a large amount of saliva flows, and the peripheries of the lips are commonly provided with foam saliva and have odor. The disease is mainly treated by a conventional tooth extraction method at present, half or all teeth of a diseased cat are extracted according to the disease condition, and then antibiotic treatment is assisted. However, the method for treating the feline stomatitis has a high recurrence rate, and researches show that the recurrence rate of the half-mouth tooth extraction treatment method is up to 47.06 percent, the recurrence period is generally 30 to 90 days, the recurrence rate of the broken root extraction treatment method is 16.67 percent, the recurrence period is generally 7 to 14 days, the recurrence rate of the full-mouth tooth extraction is 15.38 percent, and the recurrence period is generally more than 90 days. In addition, the sick cats treated by tooth extraction not only need to suffer great pain, but also have obviously reduced life quality at the later stage, and only can eat liquid food or semi-liquid food.

Clinical trial for treating cat stomatitis
(1) Experimental Material
Animals: 90 sick cats with stomatitis in clinic.
Test drugs: the traditional Chinese veterinary medicine oral liquid prepared in the examples 1 to 5 is used as liquid medicine I to liquid medicine V correspondingly.
(2) Clinical symptoms of cat stomatitis
Abnormal ingestion and chewing, even no eating, the weight of the patient with longer course of disease is obviously reduced, the patient is extremely thin, the patient is uneasy to take the food, howling is caused by the pain caused by the stimulation of the food to the inflammation part, the mucous membrane of the oral cavity is red and swollen, the mouth is warm and high, the patient likes drinking water, and the patient breathes out in the mouth with unpleasant smell. The mouth drooling was severe, and the corners of the mouth were whitish. The body temperature is normal generally, but the body temperature is higher when the disease condition is serious, and when the disease develops into vesicular stomatitis, the oral mucosa can be seen to generate blisters with different sizes; when the oral cavity becomes ulcerative stomatitis, the mucous membrane has symptoms of rottenness, necrotic plaques, erosion and the like. The diagnosis of cat stomatitis is confirmed based on the above symptoms.
(3) Method of treatment
The cats suffering from the feline stomatitis are divided into 6 groups according to the clinical study randomization scheme requirements according to the case bringing sequence, wherein each group comprises 15 cats, namely a liquid medicine group, a liquid medicine group and a conventional treatment control group (hereinafter referred to as a control group). After the respective treatments, the phone call was returned continuously for 90 days.
Liquid medicine group-five liquid medicine groups: the oral cavity of the sick cat is washed by 1 percent potassium permanganate solution every day, and then the liquid medicines are respectively infused for one to five times with the dosage of 5ml/kg body weight, 2 times every day and 5 days of continuous administration.
Control group: the traditional tooth extraction method is mainly adopted for treatment according to different disease conditions: firstly, removing half-mouth teeth (except 4 canine teeth and incisor teeth, removing other teeth); ② the whole tooth is pulled out. After operation, the patient is fasted for 4 days, drinking water can be taken in the 2 nd day after operation, metronidazole infusion is continuously used for 3-5 days, and after the 5 th day, oral antibiotic treatment can be changed into 7 days.
(4) Criteria for therapeutic effect
And (3) healing: the oral cavity ulcer surface is healed, the mucosa is normal, the abnormal salivation phenomenon does not exist in the oral cavity, and the smell of the oral cavity is greatly improved;
the method has the following advantages: the ingestion and chewing are improved, the eating process can still make a whine, the area of the oral ulcer is reduced, the red and swollen phenomenon of the mucosa is reduced, the degree of the oral cavity salivation is reduced, and the smell of the oral cavity is reduced;
and (4) invalidation: the ingestion and chewing are not improved, the food refusal phenomenon is obvious, the area of the oral ulcer is increased or unchanged, the swelling phenomenon of the mucosa is aggravated, the degree of the oral salivation is aggravated or not improved, and the peculiar smell of the oral cavity is aggravated or not improved.
(5) The treatment effect is as follows: the statistics are shown in tables 1 and 2.
TABLE 1 statistical Table of cat stomatitis treatment results
Figure BDA0001759069390000041
Note: a represents a significant difference (P <0.05) compared to the control group; b represents a significant difference (P <0.05) compared to the four drug solutions; c showed significant difference (P <0.05) compared to the five drug solution groups.
As can be seen from table 1, the differences between the three groups of liquid medicines and the four groups of liquid medicines and the five groups of liquid medicines are significant (P <0.05) and the differences between the three groups of liquid medicines and the five groups of liquid medicines are not significant (P >0.05) in terms of the therapeutic effect of treating the cat stomatitis.
TABLE 2 statistics of the recurrence of stomatitis in cats with cure disease
Group of Recovery number (only) Relapse within 90 days Recurrence rate after recovery
Liquid medicine group 11 1 9.1%
Two groups of liquid medicine 9 1 11.1%
Three groups of liquid medicine 10 1 10.0%
Four groups of liquid medicine 5 2 40.0%
Five groups of liquid medicine 2 1 50.0%
Control group 9 3 33.3%
As can be seen from Table 2, the effect of the first to third liquid medicines on the recurrence rate of the disease cats after healing is lower than that of the fourth, fifth and control liquid medicines.
The test results show that the traditional Chinese veterinary medicine composition has a good treatment effect on cat stomatitis, can relieve symptoms of oral salivation, halitosis, red and swollen oral mucosa and the like of cats suffering from cat stomatitis, accelerates the healing of oral ulcer surfaces, and can reduce the recurrence rate of the cat stomatitis with the cure disease to a certain extent.
