Description

用于液化气体的船舶容纳系统
技术领域
本发明涉及用于存储和/或运输液化氢气的船舶容纳系统和包括所述容纳系统的海洋运输船只。此外,本发明涉及用于管理所述容纳系统的隔热和其泄露的方法。
背景技术
氢气为用于炼油和肥料工业以及若干其它化学工艺中的重要工业气体。预期氢气另外可作为能量载体发挥重要作用,特别是在运输领域中。
一般来说,对于短距离,气体可借助于压力经由管道来运输。对于长距离,气体通常借助于海洋运输来运输。在没有用于气态氢气和用于输入目的的合适管道网络的情况下,预期呈液体形式的氢气将为用于其供应和分布的最有效方式中的一种。由于体积增益和经济地移动任何有意义量的能量,气态氢气可适当地液化,并且然后以液体形式运输。在世界范围内最实用的分配氢气的方式中的一种为通过海洋运输即通过大船舶/油轮来运输液氢。在这类船舶或油轮上的容纳构造必须适合于运输具有一些非常特定的属性的液氢。
气体的两种属性(临界温度和临界压力)在开发用于其液化的方法中为重要的。气体的临界温度为处于和高于其所述气体都不能液化的温度,不管施用多少压力。气体在其临界温度下液化所需的压力被称作临界压力。在气体当中临界温度的差异意指一些气体比其它气体更易于液化。举例来说,二氧化碳的临界温度相对高(31℃),其意指二氧化碳在或接近室温下(在约73巴的临界压力下)可相对易于液化。相比而言,LNG的临界温度为约-82℃并且临界压力为约45巴。
应理解,根据临界温度和压力,在或接近环境温度下某些气体比其它气体可更易于液化。尤其是当所需压力相对小时,可建造相对大的压力容器,这经济地允许以液化形式散装运输。相反,当液化需要高压时,建造较大的压力容器具有挑战性,这对于散装运输液化气体仍然具有经济相关性。
在运输某些气体(像一些液体石油气体(LPG))期间,包括结合施用压力和制冷/冷却的措施被用来重新液化蒸发气体并且维持气体的液化形式。对于某些气体像天然气,临界压力(约45巴)非常高,然而临界温度(约-82℃)非常低。一般来说,这类气体被冷却至其标准沸点并且在大气压下在或接近环境温度下运输。举例来说,液化天然气(LNG)在大气压下在约-163℃下运输。液氢需要被类似地处理。对于在大气压下呈完全液态的氢气,需要被冷却到-253℃。
在WO2009/147162 A1中,公开用于存储液化气体(如液化天然气、液化氮气、氧气、二氧化碳或氢气)的低温容器。
在接近大气压的压力下用于运送低温液化气体的储罐为已知的。举例来说,US3,339,5151 A涉及大气压存储和运输挥发性液体。其它液化气存储装置和其运载船只公开于JP 3401727 B2中。这类低温容纳系统通常可分为两种主要类型:膜容纳系统和所谓的IMOB型容纳系统。举例来说,GB 2,523,581 A公开IMO型海洋船只低温系统。主要用于运送LNG的容纳系统的类型为膜型容纳系统。在此系统中,膜由船舶内船体支撑,并且货物的装载由内船体承担。对于第二类低温容纳系统,利用与船舶的内船体和内侧隔开或分离的在结构上自支撑式或独立式货物储罐。由于这类货物储罐在结构上独立于船舶的船体,所以船体的强度与储罐的容纳功能不相关。这类独立IMO B型货物容纳系统的一种设计利用球形储罐,参见例如美国专利第3,677,021号和第3,680,323号(Moss Maritime):球形储罐已安装于船舶中,保持在金属圆柱裙部上,其中储罐底部定位于船舶内船体上方。其它IMO B型货物容纳系统利用矩形/棱形类型储罐(IHI SPB,日本),其支撑在坐在储罐下面的多个支撑件上。
对于高效运输,需要存储在低温容纳系统中的液化气体的温度保持接近装载所述液化气体时的温度。热量进入到容纳系统中将导致蒸发运载的液化气体,并且如果不从储罐中移除,那么产生的气体将增加储罐中的压力。管理自然蒸发气体(NBOG)的措施包含利用锅炉和/或发动机,或重新液化。然而,重新液化需要非常大量的功率,并且因此需要在船上也存在大型发电设施。此外,对于LNG运输工具,双燃料柴油电动(DFDE)推进系统越来越多地用于替代传统上使用的LNG运输工具的推进系统的汽轮机,以改善燃料效率。汽轮机比DFDE的效率低得多。然而,随着DFDE的使用,过量气体可用性的情况成为LNG运输工具关注的问题。因此,期望降低液化气体的蒸发速率(BOR):目前使用球形储罐的LNG运输工具的BOR保证为0.15%,然而,对于新建造的LNG运输工具,高达0.1%的速率也是已知的。在新的运输工具中,容纳系统很大程度上被隔热以防止热量进入到储罐中。可以识别热量进入的两个主要区域,一个来自周围环境,并且第二个通过从金属裙部布置的传导。
IMO B型球形货物容纳系统主要用于LNG海洋运输中,但是这类系统还可考虑用于运载其它液化气体像液氢、液氮、液氧等。然而,运载其它货物可导致需要其它特定技术要求。举例来说,对于液氢的货物,预期BOR增加,即使在提高隔热的情况下。液氢每单位体积的潜热大约为LNG的七分之一。此外,氢气作为液体的温度(在其标准沸点下)和环境温度之间的温度差异接近LNG的可比温度差异的1.5倍。因此,在相同环境温度下,液氢比LNG约十倍更易于蒸发。这引发需要寻找新颖解决方案以减少热量进入到氢气容纳系统中以保持BOR在可接受的极限内。
在IMO B型球形货物容纳系统的目前设计中,球形储罐由所谓的裙部布置支撑,所述裙部布置为安装于船舶上的将储罐保持在船舶的船体上方的布置。一般来说,裙部布置为在上部部分处焊接到球形储罐的外围部分并且在下部部分焊接到船舶的船体的金属板。裙部布置为船体结构提供刚性并且使从船体结构到储罐的应力传递降到最低。参见例如US3,677,021。在IMO B型球形货物容纳系统中的裙部布置另外含有结构过渡接合件(STJ)。结构过渡接合件充当热断层或热屏障,其为放置在组件中以减少或阻止在传导材料之间的热能流动的低热导率元件。在目前IMO B型球形货物容纳系统中,从裙部到储罐中的热传导被认为是进入到货物储罐中的总热量的大约20-30%。其余的热量进入是从环境到船舶的船体/保持空间中并且到货物储罐中或通过敞口甲板上暴露的拱顶区域。类似地,对于自支撑式棱形形状IMO B型(SPB)储罐,热量进入为通过支撑件和周围环境。热量进入借助于使储罐外表面隔热来减少。储罐的有规则膨胀和收缩造成挑战,并且必须仔细设计和安装隔热材料,以满足预期船只寿命的这些条件。在IMO B型储罐(货物容纳系统)主要用于LNG海洋运输中的情况下,还可考虑用于运载液氢、液氮、液氧或其它液化气体。如果考虑运载货物像液氢,那么预期BOR增加,即使在显著提高隔热的情况下。需要尽可能地减少热量进入到储罐中。
发明内容
本发明提供用于减少热量进入到船舶的货物储罐中,尤其是用于运输液氢的装置。
因此,本发明提供用于存储和/或运输液化氢气的船舶容纳系统,所述系统包括在船舶的船体内的球形货物储罐布置,其中
(a)货物储罐由安装于船舶的船体上的裙部布置支撑,通过所述裙部布置将储罐安装于船舶中,而在货物储罐的外层[4]和船体之间没有直接接触,在货物储罐和船体之间具有保持空间[10],并且包含包括在裙部的上部部分和裙部的下部部分之间的结构过渡接合件[8];并且
所述系统另外提供有
(b)定位于泵塔[1]中用于装载和排放液化气体的泵;
(c)储罐盖[2];
(d)施用到货物储罐的外层[4]的货物储罐隔热层[3];
其中:
-船舶的船体的内侧[6]提供有由在保持空间[10]的侧面处的内衬覆盖的隔热层[11],所述内衬在内船体的垂直侧面处为任何合适的箔,并且在船舶的船体结构的底部[9]上在货物储罐下方的侧面处为在施用条件下示出极少膨胀和/或收缩的膜;
-保持空间[10]填充有惰性气体并且提供有用于管理压力的装置和用于监测温度的装置;

-储罐盖(2)提供有内部隔热层[12]。
本发明的容纳系统理想地适用于海洋运输船只中,且特别适合于运输液氢。

具体实施方式
常规LNG容器的货物储罐的隔热被设计成用于管理储罐温度中的-163℃至约45℃(环境温度)的温差,即约-208℃。在液氢的情况下,此差值大约为-298℃。分析指示,在非常大的液氢容器船舶中具有大约0.3-0.4%的BOR,所需隔热材料量的厚度可为大约600-1000mm或甚至更大并且最可能呈多层构形。在隔热材料较厚(在LNG容器中目前实践的3-5+倍)的情况下,这引发关于30-40年的预期寿命所需的长寿命和安全性的显著关注。值得注意的是,相关BOR也显著更高(与LNG工业中的0.1-0.15%相比),并且预期高于大型商业规模船舶的船只供给燃料要求。这引发需要寻找新颖解决方案以(a)减少热量进入到储罐中以保持BOR在可接受的极限内和(b)开发着眼于运载液化气体的船只所需的长寿命的稳固隔热解决方案,以及(c)管理储罐周围的隔热空间。
根据本发明,措施的组合提供上述问题的解决方案。
船体的内侧(“内船体”)为隔热的,例如使用隔热材料像聚氨基甲酸酯泡沫、酚醛树脂泡沫或类似物,优选地聚氨基甲酸酯泡沫(PUF)面板,然而,还可考虑其它隔热材料。内船体的隔热层由在保持空间的侧面和任选地上部部分处的内衬覆盖,所述内衬在内船体的垂直侧面处为木材、合适的箔如锡箔,优选地抗辐射箔,并且在货物储罐下方的侧面处为在施用条件下示出极少膨胀和/或收缩的膜,优选地适于经受液氢温度的膜。优选地,这类膜材料为殷钢。其它合适材料可选自不锈钢、适合于低温条件的复合材料或夹心板系统(SPS),如本领域中已知的。除改善隔热之外,这类膜在货物容纳储罐故障的情况下还充当辅助屏障。液体泄漏将导致在包括根据本发明的膜的船舶的内船体隔热储罐结构的底部收集。
此外,储罐盖提供有合适材料和可接受厚度的内部隔热层。对于恰当限定隔热材料,这些材料在与制备储罐盖自身的材料相比时必须符合降低热导率的要求,但是另外优选的额外特性为经受低温温度的能力,并且另一优选的特性为防火性。优选地,隔热材料对环境因素(包含湿度)具有耐受性。用于隔热的合适材料选自木材、复合材料和高密度泡沫。用于使储罐盖隔热的隔热材料选自聚四氟乙烯(PTFE)或注塑成型复合材料,或适合在低温温度下使用的任何其它材料或这类材料的任何组合。
此外,保持空间提供有用于管理压力的装置和用于监测温度的装置。这允许用惰性气体,优选地在低温下的气态氮气,而不是在用于LNG运输的目前设计中使用的干燥空气填充保持空间。氮气在25℃下的热导率为0.024kW/(m.K),相比之下例如碳钢为43、不锈钢为16、PUF为0.03和珍珠岩为0.31。填充在保持空间中的氮气满足各种目的,包含去除任何气体蒸气从货物储罐泄漏通过隔热层到保持空间中的火灾风险,并且改善总体隔热效果,减少热量进入到货物储罐中。因此,相应地本发明另外提供用于隔热本发明的容纳系统的方法,包括用气态氮气填充保持空间,同时保持在保持空间中的氮气压力在低于含有液化气体的货物储罐的内部压力的低压(约3-5毫巴)下。优选地,在保持空间中的温度保持在-10℃和-60℃之间,更优选地在-30℃和-50℃之间。
优选地,在船舶的船体的内侧和/或保持空间处的隔热层还提供有水分检测传感器,以监测海水可能进入到保持空间隔热材料中,例如从压载储罐经由在船舶的(钢)镀层中的裂缝等进入保持空间隔热材料。这些传感器在保持空间中存在液体的情况下将产生警告。
保持空间可需要间歇地检查。为此,保持空间还提供有(一条或多条)空气管线以排放用于准备检查和干船坞等的空间。此外,系统借助于用于排出空气和/或气体的减压阀和管线来保护。
本发明的船舶容纳系统另外包括施用到货物储罐的外层的货物储罐隔热层,所述层比常规LNG运输工具中的层稍厚,并且可大致在现有利用厚度的大约125-175%(即按绝对值计算高达150mm)。隔热材料可类似于用于储罐盖隔热中的那些。在目前LNG容器(LNGC)中,在储罐周围的隔热空间(参见图1,参考[3])用氮气吹扫。在氮气(-196℃的液化温度)用于令人满意地在LNGC上执行隔热空间的吹扫(以便管理从保持空间和/或货物储罐微量泄漏)的情况下,如果施用到液氢货物储罐隔热空间,那么氮气将液化并且甚至冻结。对于在液氢容器系统中施用,性质上为惰性并且具有低于-253℃的液化温度的气体可用于泄露检测并且排出进入货物储罐隔热层的氮气。这使得气体像氦气为合适的。然而,氦气为有限和昂贵的,并且在具有厚隔热材料的大船只上需要显著量氦气,这将对在实际服务中的船只造成挑战。因此,根据本发明的实施例,氢气气相用于填充货物储罐隔热层。因此,货物储罐隔热层提供有用于管理压力的装置,以管理用于从货物储罐泄漏检测和用于将从保持空间可能进入货物储罐隔热层中的氮气排出的气体。因此,相应地本发明另外提供用于管理泄漏,即从本发明的容纳系统的隔热材料的泄露检测和氮气排出的方法,包括用气态氢气填充货物储罐隔热层并且保持在隔热层中的氢气压力在略微高于在保持空间中的氮气压力的恒定压力下。适当地,在隔热层中的氢气压力将在2-10毫巴,优选地5-7毫巴的范围内,只要在保持空间中的氮气压力较低即可。
本发明的货物储罐为球形储罐。在球形储罐的布置中,提供在裙部中的结构过渡接合件(STJ)。裙部的下部部分将经受低温并且因此相应地选择裙部的下部部分的材料,因为下部裙部需要隔热或以其它方式STJ必须定位于底部部分处。相应地,货物储罐由安装于船舶的船体上的裙部布置支撑,并且其中裙部安装于船体结构上,所述船体结构具有包括在裙部和内船体的内侧之间的隔热层的安装配置,如公开于EP14197674.6中。

Claims (9)

其中:

7.一种用于管理根据权利要求1至5中任一项所述的船舶容纳系统的隔热的方法,包含:用在低温下的气态氮气填充保持空间(10);以及将所述保持空间(10)中的气态氮气压力保持在低于含有氢气的货物储罐(4)的内部压力的压力之下。
8.根据权利要求7所述的方法,其中,所述保持空间(10)中的温度被保持在-10℃和-60℃之间。
