Description

Method for desertification control and forestation by using corn straws
Technical Field
The invention belongs to the technical field of ecological desertification control, and relates to a method for desertification control and forestation by using corn straws.
Background
The land desertification condition in the northwest area of China is serious, the desert area is large, and the tasks of sand prevention and sand control are heavy. At present, in the sanded areas in the northwest, grass grid sand barriers are mostly adopted for sand control and afforestation, the grass grid sand barriers are made of raw materials such as wheat straws, rice straws and reeds, the grass grid sand barriers are tied on sand dunes to form grid-shaped wind-shielding sand barriers, and then seedlings are planted in the grids, so that the effects of weakening wind power and protecting the growth of the seedlings are achieved. However, the grass square sand barrier is adopted for desertification control and afforestation, the needed capital is large, the labor investment is large, according to the measurement and calculation of the applicant, the investment of each mu of grass square afforestation is about 800 yuan on average, and the capital pressure is large for the less-developed desertification areas. Therefore, a method for desertification control and afforestation with low investment and high survival rate is required.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention aims to provide a desertification control and forestation method with low investment and high survival rate aiming at the problems in the prior art.
Therefore, the invention adopts the following technical scheme:
a method for desertification control and forestation by using corn straws comprises the following steps:
the first step is as follows: digging planting holes in the middle of the windward slope of the sand dune in spring according to the line spacing direction perpendicular to the main wind direction and the plant spacing direction parallel to the main wind direction, wherein the length direction of the planting holes is consistent with the main wind direction, and piling up dry sand on the surface layer of the sand dune and wet sand on the lower part of the sand dune separately in the hole digging process;
the second step is that: planting a bundle of bundled corn straws on one side of the dug planting hole facing the main wind direction;
the third step: planting 2-5 haloxylon ammodendron seedlings in a cluster in the middle of the planting hole, wherein the root system of the haloxylon ammodendron seedlings is required to be more than 30cm, the height of the overground part is more than 40cm, and the seedlings are dipped in slurry before being planted;
the fourth step: after the nursery stock is planted, filling wet sand into the planting hole, slightly lifting the nursery stock when the filling depth of the wet sand exceeds 30cm to stretch the root system of the nursery stock, filling the planting hole with the wet sand, and compacting the wet sand in the hole;
the fifth step: and adding water into the stepped planting holes, and covering the dug fine sand on the planting holes after the water in the holes is completely infiltrated.
Furthermore, in the first step, the row spacing is required to be 1.5-4m, and the plant spacing is required to be 1.5-3 m.
Furthermore, in the first step, the length of the planting hole is 30-50cm, the width of the planting hole is 20-40cm, and the depth of the planting hole is 30-50 cm.
Furthermore, in the second step, the corn stalk bundle is formed by bundling 4-8 corn stalks.
Further, in the second step, the height of the corn stalk bundle is 50-80cm and the height of the overground part of the corn stalk bundle is 40-60 cm.
Furthermore, in the fifth step, the water adding amount is 5-10 liters.
The desertification control and afforestation method can be vividly summarized into a bundle of corn straws, a bunch of seedlings and a barrel of water, and the method is simple and efficient. The planted corn straw bundles can effectively resist wind and sand erosion and protect the planted haloxylon ammodendron seedlings. The corn straw bundle has large sectional area, higher height, better structural strength than wheat straw and the like, and the overground height of the corn straw bundle can reach 40-60cm compared with the overground height of 10-20cm of grass square grids, so that the wind and sand can be effectively resisted. And because the corn straw bundles are over against the main wind direction, the blown fine sand is accumulated in front of and on two sides of the corn straw bundles, so that the seedlings on the rear side of the straw bundles can be prevented from being buried by the fine sand. Compared with the construction of the grass grid sand barrier, the labor amount for manufacturing and planting the corn straw bundle is small, and only one bundle of corn straw needs to be planted in one bundle of nursery stock in the method. In addition, the corn straw is cheaper and easier to obtain than wheat straw, and the using amount is smaller, so that the investment amount is greatly reduced.
In 10 months in 2017, the applicant carries out sample survey statistics on 5-year-old haloxylon forests in the same region by adopting two different forestation modes of wheat straw squares and corn straw bundles, and the result shows that: the average preservation rate of seedlings for desertification control and afforestation by adopting the wheat straw square sand barriers is 54 percent, the coverage of shrubs is 20 percent, the coverage of vegetation is 49 percent, the annual average height growth amount of haloxylon ammodendron is 18cm, and the annual average ground diameter growth amount is 0.38 cm. By adopting the desertification control and forest planting method of the invention, the average preservation rate of the nursery stock is 44%, the brush coverage is 24%, the vegetation coverage is 43%, the average height growth amount in the shuttle race year is 18.5cm, and the average ground diameter growth amount in the shuttle race year is 0.54 cm. Through investigation comparison and difference analysis, the difference of the desertification control and afforestation effects of the two different afforestation methods is not obvious, and the results are basically consistent, so that the indexes can be adopted to evaluate the quality of the two desertification control and afforestation methods.
The comparison shows that the method for afforestation by using the corn straw bundles has advantages in shrub coverage, average annual height growth amount of haloxylon ammodendron and average annual ground diameter growth amount, and is close to grass square sand barrier afforestation in the average nursery stock preservation rate and vegetation coverage. In addition, through statistics, the sand control forestation method only needs 200 yuan investment per mu on average, which is about 25% of capital investment of wheat straw square sand barrier forestation, and the cost advantage is more obvious. In summary, the method of forestation using corn straw bundles has a great advantage over grass grid sand barriers.
In conclusion, the beneficial effects of the invention are as follows: the capital investment is small, the labor capacity is low, and the planting efficiency is high; the average preservation rate, the shrub coverage, the seedling growth amount and other technical indexes are high, and the method is feasible; meanwhile, the effective utilization of the corn straws is realized, and the afforestation process is ecological and environment-friendly without causing any environmental pollution.
