Abstract
本发明实现一种更小型化且薄型化的发光装置。在发光装置(1)中,LED元件(3~6)以发光部(32~62)朝向树脂成型体(2)的表面(21)且阳极(33~63)及阴极(34~64)露出于树脂成型体2的背面(23)的方式,埋设于树脂成型体(2)中。
Description
技术领域
本发明涉及一种具有发光二极管(Light Emitting Diode,LED)元件等发光元件的发光装置。
背景技术
以往,作为在电子照相方式等的打印机(printer)中所用的光打印头(printerhead)、或在光显示装置等中所用的发光电子装置,多采用具有多个发光二极管(LED)元件的发光装置。图6中示出此种发光装置的一例。
图6是表示以往技术的发光装置101的构成的图。如图6的(a)所示,发光装置101具备印刷(print)基板102及多个LED元件103。而且,如图6的(b)所示,LED元件103具备基部131、发光部132、阳极133及阴极134。
在印刷基板102的表面,通过蚀刻(etching)等方法而形成有配线121。
在基部131中的其中一个面,设有包含发光二极管的发光部132。进而,在基部131中的另一个面,设有阳极133及阴极134。通过阳极133及阴极134使用焊料材料122而连接于配线121,从而各LED元件103被安装于印刷基板102的表面。
然而,如图6所示的发光装置101那样,使LED元件103安装于印刷基板102表面的构成中,有可能会因使焊料材料122硬化时的焊料材料122的热收缩等,而导致LED元件103的高度及安装位置偏离规格。若产生此种偏离,则会产生所完成的发光装置101的发光特性与规格产生偏差的问题。而且,也存在因用于使焊料材料122硬化的高热的施加,而导致LED元件103的特性发生变化的问题。
进而,由于近年来对电子装置的小型化及薄型化的要求的提高,发光装置的小型化成为必要。然而,通过以往的使用焊料材料122的安装方法而获得的发光装置101中,由于焊料材料122的润湿扩散或者为了确保安装强度等的观点,必须确保发光装置101中的焊料材料122的设置空间(space)。因此,发光装置101的小型化产生极限。
因此,以往,作为对因焊料材造成的表面安装时的LED位置偏离的对策,提出有如下所述的各种方案。
专利文献1中揭示有一种方法,即,在印刷基板上的LED安装位置形成槽,将接合有与LED的安装间距(pitch)为同尺寸的虚设件(dummy)的LED构件插入所述槽中,由此固定LED的安装位置。
专利文献2中揭示有一种方法,即,向形成于印刷基板的孔内注入粘着剂,在所述粘着剂的上部安装LED并硬化,由此固定LED的安装位置。
专利文献3中揭示有一种方法,即,将LED与经暂时定位的构件装配,然后将LED焊料接至印刷基板的电路,来固定LED的安装位置。

发明内容
发明所要解决的问题
然而,这些以往技术中,考虑到对基板的加工、虚设件构件、装配构件等的加工精度的观点,难以实现微米(micron)单位的LED安装位置的精度。进而,由于需要槽或孔的加工空间、或者虚设件构件或装配构件的设置空间,因此存在导致发光装置大型化的问题。进而,也存在如下问题:由于对印刷基板实施追加加工或者制作装配构件,因而导致制造成本上升,或者制造步骤复杂且使制造良率降低。
本发明是为了解决所述问题而完成。并且,其目的在于实现一种更小型化且薄型化的发光装置、以及更简易地制造此种发光装置的制造方法。
解决问题的技术手段
为了解决所述问题,本发明的一实施方式的发光装置的特征在于包括:树脂成型体;发光元件,至少具有发光部及电极,且以所述发光部朝向所述树脂成型体的表面且所述电极露出于所述树脂成型体的与所述表面相向的背面的方式,埋设于所述树脂成型体中;以及配线,形成于所述树脂成型体的所述背面,且连接于所述电极。
为了解决所述问题,本发明的一实施方式的发光装置的制造方法的特征在于包括:将至少具有发光部及电极的发光元件以所述电极接触至暂时固定膜的形态而暂时固定于所述暂时固定膜的步骤;将暂时固定有所述发光元件的暂时固定膜配置于模具内的空隙中,向所述空隙中注入树脂材料,由此形成埋设有所述发光元件的树脂成型体的步骤;从所述树脂成型体剥离所述暂时固定膜的步骤;以及在所述树脂成型体中的所述电极所露出的背面,形成与所述电极连接的配线的步骤。
发明的效果
根据本发明的一实施方式,可实现更小型化且薄型化的发光装置、以及更简易地制造此种发光装置的制造方法。

具体实施方式
〔实施方式1〕
以下,参照图1至图3来说明本发明的实施方式1。
图1是表示本发明的实施方式1的发光装置1的构成的图。图1的(a)是从发光装置1的发光面(表面)观察发光装置1的图,图1的(b)是从发光装置1的与发光面正交的面(侧面)观察发光装置1的图,图1的(c)是从发光装置1的与发光面相向的面(背面)观察发光装置1的图。
如图1所示,发光装置1具备树脂成型体2、LED元件(发光二极管元件、发光元件)3~LED元件(发光二极管元件、发光元件)6及配线71~配线75。
树脂成型体2具有作为发光装置1的基体的作用,且是由各种树脂材料而构成。作为此种材料,例如可列举聚碳酸酯(Polycarbonate,PC)或丙烯腈-丁二烯-苯乙烯(Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene,ABS)。
LED元件3~LED元件6是表面安装器件(Surface Mounted Devices,SMD)(表面安装)型的LED元件。如图1所示,LED元件3具备基部31、发光部32、阳极33(电极)及阴极34(电极)。LED元件4具备基部41、发光部42、阳极43(电极)及阴极44(电极)。LED元件5具备基部51、发光部52、阳极53(电极)及阴极54(电极)。LED元件6具备基部61、发光部62、阳极63(电极)及阴极64(电极)。
基部31为LED元件3的本体部分。在基部31的表面,形成有包含LED的发光部32。当LED元件3发光时,光是从发光部32发出。阳极33及阴极34是与发光装置1的外部零件或发光装置1内的其他LED元件4~LED元件6中的任一者连接的连接电极。阳极33及阴极34形成于基部31中的与表面相向的背面。
LED元件4~LED元件6的详细构成与LED元件3相同,因此省略详细说明。
LED元件3~LED元件6被埋设于树脂成型体2的内部。如图1所示,发光装置1中,四个LED元件3~LED元件6呈直线配置。如图1的(a)所示,发光部32~发光部62露出于树脂成型体2的表面21。因此,如图1的(b)的箭头所示,当发光装置1发光时,光是从树脂成型体2的表面21发出。
如图1的(c)所示,阳极33~阳极63及阴极34~阴极64露出于树脂成型体2的与表面21相向的背面23。
配线71~配线75形成于树脂成型体2的背面23,且连接于对应的阳极33~阳极63或阴极34~阴极64中的至少任一者。配线71~配线75例如是通过使用银油墨(ink)等的印刷方法,通过印刷而形成于树脂成型体2的背面23。因此,配线71~配线75与阳极33~阳极63或阴极34~阴极64的连接不需要焊料材料。
如图1所示,配线71的一端连接于阳极33。配线71的另一端连接于位于发光装置1外部的未图示的驱动电路。配线72的一端连接于阴极34,另一端连接于阳极43。如此,配线72具有将LED元件3与LED元件4予以接线的作用。
配线73的一端连接于阴极44,另一端连接于阳极53。如此,配线73具有将LED元件4与LED元件5予以接线的作用。
配线74的一端连接于阴极54,另一端连接于阳极63。如此,配线74具有将LED元件5与LED元件6予以接线的作用。
配线75的一端连接于阴极64。配线75的另一端连接于位于发光装置1外部的未图示的驱动电路。
如上所述,LED元件3~LED元件6是使用配线71~配线75来彼此串联连接。因此,当利用外部的驱动电路来一次驱动LED元件3~LED元件6时,LED元件3~LED元件6同时发光。
本实施方式的发光装置1可适宜地用于电子照相方式的打印机中搭载的光打印头等。尤其,发光装置1中的发光面与配线71~配线75的形成面相当于发光装置1的表面及背面,因此可使驱动LED元件3~LED元件6的驱动电路或构成打印机的其他零件与发光装置1的装配性良好。
(发光装置1的制造方法)
图2是对制造本实施方式的发光装置1的方法进行说明的图。以下,参照所述图来说明本实施方式的发光装置1的制造方法。
(暂时固定步骤)
首先,如图2的(a)所示,准备用于暂时固定LED元件3~LED元件6的暂时固定膜11,将LED元件3~LED元件6暂时固定于所述暂时固定膜11。作为暂时固定膜11,例如使用聚对苯二甲酸乙二酯(Polyethylene Terephthalate,PET)制的膜。
本实施方式中,以LED元件3~LED元件6的阳极33~阳极63及阴极34~阴极64接触至暂时固定膜11的方式,使用粘着剂等来将LED元件3~LED元件6暂时固定至暂时固定膜11。对于所述暂时固定,可使用涂布于暂时固定膜11的例如紫外线硬化型的粘着剂(未图示)。具体而言,作为粘着剂,使用格鲁拉博(Gluelabo)(有限)制造的GL-3005H,将粘着剂以2μm~3μm的厚度涂布至50μm的PET制的暂时固定膜11。
然后,决定暂时固定膜11上的LED元件3~LED元件6的位置,将LED元件3~LED元件6设置于暂时固定膜11上的所决定的位置。随后,将3000mJ/cm2的紫外线照射至暂时固定膜11及LED元件3~LED元件6,由此使粘着剂硬化。由此,LED元件3~LED元件6被暂时固定于暂时固定膜11。
(射出成型步骤)
接下来,如图2的(b)所示,将在暂时固定步骤中制作的暂时固定有LED元件3~LED元件6的暂时固定膜11配置于位于模具12与模具13之间的空隙内,然后将树脂材料注入至所述空隙内。由此,以LED元件3~LED元件6埋设于树脂成型体2内的方式,进行树脂材料的射出成型。
作为用于所述步骤的树脂材料,可列举聚碳酸酯(PC)及丙烯腈-丁二烯-苯乙烯(ABS)等各种树脂材料。当使用PC时,在射出温度270℃且射出压力100Mpa下使用PC。当使用ABS时,在射出温度180℃且射出压力20kgf/cm2下使用ABS。
(剥离步骤)
接下来,如图2的(c)所示,将在射出成型步骤中获得的射出成型品从位于模具12与模具13之间的空隙中取出,然后从射出成型品剥离暂时固定膜11。由此,LED元件3~LED元件6的发光部32~发光部62露出于树脂成型体2的表面。另一方面,LED元件3~LED元件6的阳极33~阳极63及阴极34~阴极64露出于树脂成型体2的背面。
另外,作为暂时固定膜11而使用的PET膜会因射出成型步骤中的射出成型时的热而大幅变形,从而成为已从射出成型品剥离的状态。因此,可容易地从射出成型品分离暂时固定膜11。
(配线形成步骤)
最后,如图2的(d)所示,在树脂成型体2的背面23形成与露出于树脂成型体2的背面23的各LED元件3~LED元件6的阳极33~阳极63及阴极34~阴极64连接的配线71~配线75。由此,完成发光装置1。
对于配线71~配线75的形成,可采用各种方法。例如,可列举使用喷墨打印机(inkjet printer)等来喷射导电材料(例如银油墨等)而印刷形成配线71~配线75的方法、使用气溶胶(aerosol)来形成配线71~配线75的方法、或者使用分配器(dispenser)来形成配线71~配线75的方法等。
(安装间距离的偏离量)
图3是表示本实施方式的发光装置1中的LED元件3~LED元件6的安装间距离偏离设计数值的偏离量的图。如图3所示,图2的(a)所示的暂时固定步骤(暂时固定LED元件3~LED元件6时)中的LED元件3与LED元件4的安装间距离a以及LED元件4与LED元件5的安装间距离b偏离设计数值的偏离量为-12μm及+21μm。另一方面,图2的(b)所示的配线形成步骤(完成发光装置1时)中的LED元件3与LED元件4的安装间距离a以及LED元件4与LED元件5的安装间距离b偏离设计数值的偏离量为+14μm及+39μm。
如图3所示,暂时固定时的LED元件3~LED元件6的安装间距离的偏离量在完成发光装置1时几乎无变化。因此,根据本实施方式,可制造LED元件3~LED元件6依照暂时固定于暂时固定膜11时的位置而配置的发光装置1。
(本实施方式的优点)
图1所示的发光装置1不具有以往技术的发光装置中所需的印刷基板,且也不需要用于连接配线与电极(阳极、阴极)的焊料材料。由此,可获得有助于发光装置1的小型化及薄型化的如下效果。
(1)由于可使发光装置1的高度成为与LED元件3~LED元件6的高度大致相等的最小者,因此可使发光装置1薄型化。
(2)在发光装置1中,不需要以往技术中的利用焊料材料来进行LED元件的电极与配线的连接时所需的LED元件3~LED元件6间的空间,因此可使在发光装置1中安装LED元件3~LED元件6时的间距(LED元件3~LED元件6的间隔)小于以往技术。
而且,本实施方式的发光装置1的制造方法中,LED元件3~LED元件6通过埋设于树脂成型体2内而在树脂成型体2内得以固定,因此发光装置1中的LED元件3~LED元件6的安装位置可根据暂时固定步骤中的LED元件3~LED元件6在暂时固定膜11上的设置位置而准确地决定。由此,可获得如下效果。
(3)作为发光装置1中的LED元件3~LED元件6在平面方向(X-Y方向)上的安装位置的精度,可获得LED元件安装机中的精度±50μm左右的准确精度。
(4)进而,可将发光装置1中的LED元件3~LED元件6的高度方向(H方向)的位置精度,抑制为在暂时固定步骤中所用的粘着剂的涂布厚度偏差程度的数μm以内。
而且,在本实施方式的发光装置1的制造方法中,不需要以往技术中的焊料材料的硬化所需的260℃以上的热处理,因此可获得如下效果。
(5)由于不对LED元件3~LED元件6施加高热,因此可抑制LED元件3~LED元件6中的发光特性的变化。
进而,在本实施方式的发光装置1的制造方法中,无印刷基板的追加步骤以及其他构件与LED元件3~LED元件6的装配等复杂步骤,因此可获得如下效果。
(6)可消除使发光装置1的制造良率降低的主要因素,或者可降低发光装置1的零件成本及制造成本。
(变形例)
图1所示的LED元件3~LED元件6的配置不过是一例。发光装置1所具备的多个LED元件例如也可在树脂成型体2的内部呈矩阵状配置。而且,发光装置1也可为具备LED元件3~LED元件6以外的发光元件例如有机电致发光(Electroluminescence,EL)元件等的构成。
〔实施方式2〕
以下,参照图4来说明本发明的实施方式2。另外,为了便于说明,对于具有与在所述实施方式中所说明的构件相同功能的构件,标注相同的符号并省略其说明。
实施方式1中,对使LED元件3~LED元件6的发光部32~发光部62露出于树脂成型体2表面的结构的发光装置1进行了说明。然而本发明并不限于此,发光装置1也可为发光部32~发光部62被埋设于树脂成型体2内的结构。此时,树脂成型体2需要具有一定的透光性。
图4是表示本发明的实施方式2的发光装置1的结构的图。在本实施方式的发光装置1中的发光部32~发光部62的上部,如图4所示,也可具有对来自发光部32~发光部62的发光赋予指向性的规定的光学零件(结构物)。图4的示例中,在发光部32的上部设有透镜(lens)24,在发光部42的上部设有棱柱(prism)状的多面体25,在发光部52的上部设有凹形状的反光部26。这些透镜24、多面体25及反光部26均作为树脂成型体2的一部分而在树脂成型体2的成型时形成。
以往技术中,这些赋予指向性的构件需要作为独立于LED元件的零件而另行准备,并组装至LED元件。这样会产生发光装置的装配变得复杂,或者制造成本变高的问题。而且,图6所示那样的将多个LED元件103呈阵列状安装的构成的发光装置101中,各LED元件103的安装位置有可能产生偏差,因此存在下述问题,即,在作为独立零件而准备的透镜等光学零件与LED元件103的对位时,要求高精度的调整。或者,作为对位无法顺利进行的结果,也存在发光装置101的不良率变高的问题。
另一方面,本实施方式的发光装置1在使LED元件3~LED元件6埋设于树脂成型体2中的同时,在LED元件3~LED元件6的埋设位置将透镜24等光学零件射出成型。由此,无须将作为独立于LED元件3~LED元件6的零件而准备的透镜等光学零件相对于LED元件3~LED元件6进行装配。而且,如图3所示,LED元件3~LED元件6的安装位置也几乎无偏差,因此不需要LED元件3~LED元件6与透镜24等的高精度的位置调整。由此,可降低发光装置1的不良品的产生率。
〔实施方式3〕
以下,对本发明的实施方式3进行说明。另外,为了便于说明,对具有与在所述实施方式中所说明的构件相同功能的构件,标注相同的符号并省略其说明。
图6所示的以往技术中,来自各LED元件103的发光面122的发光也会漏向图6的箭头所示的上部方向以外的、例如邻接的LED元件103的方向。由此,来自各LED元件103的发光成为彼此干涉的状态。若将此种状态的发光装置101用于光打印头等,则会产生使点(dot)像产生模糊,或者使写入记忆的图像品质降低的问题。
因此,作为对此种问题的对策,本实施方式中,作为构成发光装置1的树脂成型体2的材料,使用具有90%以上的反光率的树脂材料。作为此种材料的示例,例如可列举作为聚丙烯(Polypropylene,PP)系树脂的全透明(FULL BRIGHT)(松下(Panasonic)(股)制造)或者作为聚碳酸酯(PC)系树脂的EHR牌号(EHR grade)三菱工程塑料(股)制造)材等。
在具备包含此种材料的树脂成型体2的发光装置1中,可抑制来自各LED元件3~LED元件6的发光部32~发光部62的发光漏向邻接的LED元件3~LED元件6的方向。因此,可获得减少各发光彼此的干涉的效果。
〔实施方式4〕
以下,对本发明的实施方式4进行说明。另外,为了便于说明,对具有与在所述实施方式中所说明的构件相同功能的构件,标注相同的符号并省略其说明。
实施方式3中,作为埋设LED元件3~LED元件6的树脂成型体2的材料,对使用具有高反光率的树脂材的示例进行了说明。然而本发明并不限于此,作为树脂成型体2的材料,也可使用具有高透光性的透明树脂材。
本实施方式的发光装置1中,作为发光装置1所具备的树脂成型体2的材料,使用具有使可见光线的80%以上透射的透光率的材料。作为此种材料,例如可列举透明聚碳酸酯(PC)或透明丙烯酸树脂(acrylic resin)等。
在具备包含此种材料的树脂成型体2的发光装置1中,发光装置1的发光面积广,且从发光装置1发出视认性及装饰性佳的发光。因此,可将发光装置1适宜地用于具有发光显示部的开关(switch)或电饰装置等。
〔实施方式5〕
以下,对本发明的实施方式5进行说明。另外,为了便于说明,对具有与在所述实施方式中所说明的构件相同功能的构件,标注相同的符号并省略其说明。
实施方式1中,作为埋设LED元件3~LED元件6的树脂成型体2的材料,对使用聚碳酸酯(PC)及丙烯腈丁二烯苯乙烯(ABS)的方法进行了说明,但本发明并不限于此。作为树脂成型体2的材料,也可使用具有高导热性能的材料。
近年来,使用LED元件来作为照明等的发光(light)零件的用途增加,因伴随所述需要的LED元件的高亮度化,产生由LED元件的发热造成的问题。以往,作为针对此种LED元件的发热的对策,在图6所示的以往技术的发光装置101中,采用对印刷基板102使用铝材等金属的方法、使用特殊的升压电路来将LED元件的发热抑制为最小限度的方法、或者使用在LED元件中进行配线的电线来作为散热体的方法等。
然而,此种以往方法中,会产生基板加工成本增加,或者因电路复杂化而导致发光装置101的制造成本增加的问题,或者因发光装置101的大小限制而产生无法获得充分散热的问题等。
因此,作为针对此种问题的对策,本实施方式的发光装置1中,作为树脂成型体2的材料,使用具有1W/m·K以上的导热率的材料。作为此种材料,例如可列举混入有东丽利纳(TORELINA)H718LB(东丽(股)制造)或者尤尼吉可(Unitika)(股)制造的高导热绝缘性填料(filler)的尼龙系树脂。
在具备包含此种材料的树脂成型体2的发光装置1中,树脂成型体2作为对LED元件3~LED元件6发出的热进行散热的广面积的散热器而发挥作用,因此可抑制因LED元件3~LED元件6的发热造成的问题。
〔实施方式6〕
以下,参照图5来说明本发明的实施方式6。另外,为了便于说明,对具有与在所述实施方式中所说明的构件相同功能的构件,标注相同的符号并省略其说明。
实施方式1中,例示了在树脂成型体2内仅埋设LED元件3~LED元件6的发光装置1。在所述发光装置1中,为了驱动LED元件3~LED元件6,需要将驱动电路作为独立零件来予以连接。然而本发明并不限于此,也可在埋设LED元件3~LED元件6的树脂成型体2内,埋设构成用于驱动LED元件3~LED元件6的驱动电路的驱动集成电路(Integrated Circuit,IC)、电阻及电容器(condenser)等各种电子零件(芯片(chip)零件)等。由此,可制作只要接通电源便可使LED运作的发光电子装置。
图5是表示本发明的实施方式6的发光装置1a的构成的图。图5的(a)是从发光装置1a的发光面(表面)观察发光装置1a的图,图5的(b)是从发光装置1a的与发光面正交的面(侧面)观察发光装置1a的图,图5的(c)是从发光装置1的与发光面相向的面(背面)观察发光装置1的图。
如图5所示,发光装置1a具备树脂成型体2、LED元件3、LED元件4、电子零件81、电子零件82及电子零件83、以及配线71、配线72及配线91~配线95。
电子零件81~电子零件83是构成驱动电路的例如驱动IC、电阻及电容器等各种电子零件。电子零件81~电子零件83在其背面具备未图示的连接电极(阳极及阴极),且以使这些连接电极露出于树脂成型体2的背面23的形态而埋设于树脂成型体2内。
配线91~配线95是与电子零件81~电子零件83的连接电极连接的配线,且与配线71及配线72同样地,通过使用银油墨等的印刷方法而形成于树脂成型体2的背面23。因此,不需要用于对电子零件81~电子零件83的连接电极与配线91~配线95进行连接的焊料材料。
如图5的(c)所示,发光装置1a中,配线91的一端连接于电子零件82,另一端连接于配线71的另一端。配线92的一端连接于电子零件81,另一端连接于阴极44。配线93的一端连接于电子零件83,另一端连接于电子零件81。配线94的一端连接于位于发光装置1a外部的未图示的电源,另一端连接于电子零件82。配线95的一端连接于位于发光装置1a外部的未图示的电源,另一端连接于电子零件83。
通过采用以上的构成,将来自电源的电力供给至由电子零件81~电子零件83而构成的驱动电路。而且,由于LED元件3及LED元件4串联连接于驱动电路,因此驱动电路可驱动LED元件3及LED元件4。如此,本实施方式中,在埋设LED元件3及LED元件4的树脂成型体2内也埋设有驱动电路,因此无须在发光装置1a的外部另行设置驱动电路。由此,可削减用于将驱动电路连接于发光装置1a的加工成本或配线成本。
为了将本实施方式的电子零件81~电子零件83埋设于树脂成型体2中,可使用与参照图2的(a)所说明的实施方式1中的、将LED元件3~LED元件6固定于暂时固定膜11的步骤同样的步骤。而且,为了在树脂成型体2的背面23形成配线91~配线95,可使用与参照图2的(d)所说明的实施方式1中的、印刷形成配线71~配线75的步骤同样的步骤。
本发明并不限定于所述的各实施方式,可在权利要求所示的范围内进行各种变更。将不同的实施方式中分别揭示的技术手段适当组合而获得的实施方式也包含于本发明的技术范围内。通过将各实施方式中分别揭示的技术手段加以组合,也可形成新的技术特征。
〔总结〕
为了解决所述问题,本发明的一实施方式的发光装置的特征在于包括:树脂成型体;发光元件,至少具有发光部及电极,且以所述发光部朝向所述树脂成型体的表面且所述电极露出于所述树脂成型体的与所述表面相向的背面的方式,埋设于所述树脂成型体中;以及配线,形成于所述树脂成型体的所述背面,且连接于所述电极。
根据所述构成,发光元件以埋设于树脂成型体中的方式而安装于发光装置。因此,不需要用于安装发光元件的印刷基板,因此可使发光装置的高度与发光元件(树脂成型体)的高度大致一致。而且,与露出于树脂成型体背面的发光元件的电极连接的配线可通过印刷而形成,因此不需要使用用于连接的焊料材料。由此,不需要发光元件间的焊料材料用的空间,因此可使发光元件间的安装间距达到最小限度。
如上所述,根据本发明,可实现更小型化且薄型化的发光装置。
本发明的一实施方式的发光装置的特征进而在于,所述发光部露出于所述表面。
根据所述构成,来自发光部的光不会被树脂成型体阻碍而从发光装置的表面发出。而且,也可通过透光性低的材料而构成树脂成型体。
本发明的一实施方式的发光装置的特征进而在于,所述树脂成型体是由具有90%以上的反光率的树脂材料而构成。
根据所述构成,在发光装置具备多个发光元件的情况下,可抑制来自各发光元件的发光漏向邻接的发光元件的方向,因此可减少各发光彼此的干涉。
本发明的一实施方式的发光装置的特征进而在于,所述树脂成型体是由具有80%以上的透光率的树脂材料而构成。
根据所述构成,可从发光装置发出视认性及装饰性佳的发光。
本发明的一实施方式的发光装置的特征进而在于,所述树脂成型体是由具有1W/m长以上的导热率的树脂材料而构成。
根据所述构成,发光元件的发热容易通过树脂成型体而释放至发光装置的外部,因此可抑制因发热造成的问题。
本发明的一实施方式的发光装置的特征进而在于,多个所述发光元件被埋设于所述树脂成型体中,各个所述发光元件所具备的所述电极通过所述配线而彼此连接。
根据所述构成,可实现具备多个发光元件的发光装置。
本发明的一实施方式的发光装置的特征进而在于还包括:驱动电路,被埋设于所述树脂成型体中,且驱动所述发光元件,所述电极与所述驱动电路通过所述配线而彼此连接。
根据所述构成,可实现只要接通电源便可发光的发光装置。
本发明的一实施方式的发光装置的特征进而在于,在所述树脂成型体中的所述发光部的上部,形成有对来自所述发光部的光赋予指向性的光学零件。
根据所述构成,可从发光装置发出被赋予有指向性的光。
本发明的一实施方式的发光装置的特征进而在于,所述发光元件为发光二极管元件。
根据所述构成,可实现低功耗的发光装置。
为了解决所述问题,本发明的一实施方式的发光装置的制造方法的特征在于包括:将至少具有发光部及电极的发光元件以所述电极接触至暂时固定膜的形态而暂时固定于所述暂时固定膜的步骤;将暂时固定有所述发光元件的所述暂时固定膜配置于模具内的空隙中,向所述空隙中注入树脂材料,由此形成埋设有所述发光元件的树脂成型体的步骤;从所述树脂成型体剥离所述暂时固定膜的步骤;以及在所述树脂成型体中的所述电极所露出的背面,形成与所述电极连接的配线的步骤。
根据所述构成,可更简易地制造更小型化且薄型化的发光装置。

Claims (10)
1.一种发光装置,其特征在于包括:
树脂成型体;
发光元件,至少具有发光部及电极,且以所述发光部朝向所述树脂成型体的表面且所述电极露出于所述树脂成型体的与所述表面相向的背面的方式,埋设于所述树脂成型体中;以及
配线,形成于所述树脂成型体的所述背面,且连接于所述电极。
2.根据权利要求1所述的发光装置,其特征在于所述发光部露出于所述表面。
3.根据权利要求2所述的发光装置,其特征在于所述树脂成型体是由具有90%以上的反光率的树脂材料而构成。
4.根据权利要求1或2所述的发光装置,其特征在于所述树脂成型体是由具有80%以上的透光率的树脂材料而构成。
5.根据权利要求1至4中任一项所述的发光装置,其特征在于所述树脂成型体是由具有1W/m·K以上的导热率的树脂材料而构成。
6.根据权利要求1至5中任一项所述的发光装置,其特征在于多个所述发光元件被埋设于所述树脂成型体中,各个所述发光元件所具备的所述电极通过所述配线而彼此连接。
7.根据权利要求1至5中任一项所述的发光装置,其特征在于还包括:
驱动电路,被埋设于所述树脂成型体中,且驱动所述发光元件,
所述电极与所述驱动电路通过所述配线而彼此连接。
8.根据权利要求1至7中任一项所述的发光装置,其特征在于在所述树脂成型体中的所述发光部的上部,形成有对来自所述发光部的光赋予指向性的光学零件。
9.根据权利要求1至8中任一项所述的发光装置,其特征在于所述发光元件为发光二极管元件。
10.一种发光装置的制造方法,其特征在于包括:
将至少具有发光部及电极的发光元件以所述电极接触至暂时固定膜的形态而暂时固定于所述暂时固定膜的步骤;
将暂时固定有所述发光元件的暂时固定膜配置于模具内的空隙中,向所述空隙中注入树脂材料,由此形成埋设有所述发光元件的树脂成型体的步骤;
从所述树脂成型体剥离所述暂时固定膜的步骤;以及
在所述树脂成型体中的所述电极所露出的背面,形成与所述电极连接的配线的步骤。
