Abstract

A tobacco product suitable for heating non-combustible tobacco, wherein a functional flavor is added to the tobacco material of the tobacco product, and the tobacco product comprises the following components: 1-3% of m-dimethoxyphenol, 0-5% of p-dimethoxyphenol, 0.5-2% of 2, 6-dimethoxyphenol, 0-3% of p-ethylphenol, 1-5% of 2-isopropylphenol, 0-4% of 3, 4-dimethylphenol, 0-0.5% of m-dimethoxybenzene, 0-0.5% of p-dimethoxybenzene, 0-0.5% of 1-methyl-3-methoxy-4-isopropylbenzene, 1-3% of eugenol, 0-1% of isoeugenol, 0.5-2% of guaiacol and 0.5-1% of propenyl ethyl guaiacol; 70-95% of solvent. The invention enriches the fragrance, improves the sensory quality, and can enable the sensory characteristics of the heating non-combustion tobacco products to be closer to the traditional cigarettes.

Background
Heated non-combustible smoking articles have originated in the eighties of the last century and have been known to have a history of nearly 30 years since the appearance of the product. Through continuous technical innovation and product popularization, the tobacco product is one of important types of novel tobacco products. The smoke generated by the product is closer to the traditional cigarette, and the sidestream smoke and partial harmful components are obviously reduced, so that the cigarette has certain market potential, and the related technology becomes the hot spot of the research of foreign tobacco companies at present. In recent years, with the increasing of the smoke control strength, foreign tobacco companies have increased research and development strength of heating non-combustion type tobacco products as substitute products of traditional cigarettes and started to popularize the tobacco products to public health departments and consumers in the world, which also draws wide attention to the heating non-combustion type tobacco products in the international tobacco field and defines the tobacco products as 'real harm reduction products'. a tobacco material suitable for heating a non-combustible smoking article having incorporated therein a functional flavorant comprising, in weight percent: 1-3% of m-dimethoxyphenol, 0-5% of p-dimethoxyphenol, 0.5-2% of 2, 6-dimethoxyphenol, 0-3% of p-ethylphenol, 1-5% of 2-isopropylphenol, 0-4% of 3, 4-dimethylphenol, 0-0.5% of m-dimethoxybenzene, 0-0.5% of p-dimethoxybenzene, 0-0.5% of 1-methyl-3-methoxy-4-isopropylbenzene, 1-3% of eugenol, 0-1% of isoeugenol, 0.5-2% of guaiacol and 0.5-1% of propenyl ethyl guaiacol; 70-95% of solvent.
Preferably, the functional perfume consists of the following components in percentage by weight: m-dimethoxyphenol 1.5-2.5%, p-dimethoxyphenol 2-4%, 2, 6-dimethoxyphenol 1-2%, p-ethylphenol 0.5-2.5%, 2-isopropylphenol 2-4%, 3, 4-dimethylphenol 1-3%, m-dimethoxybenzene 0.2-0.4%, p-dimethoxybenzene 0.2-0.4%, 1-methyl-3-methoxy-4-isopropylbenzene 0.2-0.4%, eugenol 1-3%, isoeugenol 0.5-1%, guaiacol 1-1.5%, propenyl ethylguaiacol 0.5-1%; 70-90% of solvent.
Preferably, the solvent is one or a mixture of glycerol, propylene glycol and ethanol.
Preferably, the functional perfume is added in an amount of 10 to 200 ppm.
Preferably, the tobacco material is cut tobacco, tobacco particles or tobacco sheets. The flavoring of the tobacco shreds is applied by adopting the traditional flavoring mode of the tobacco shreds of cigarettes; flavoring of the tobacco particles is applied in a raw material mixing stage before particle forming; the flavoring of the tobacco sheet is applied in the coating solution.
Preferably, the addition amount of the tobacco material in the heating section is 10-100ppm, and the addition amount of the tobacco material in the condensing section is 100-200 ppm.
A flavoring method for the tobacco product comprises the following steps:
1) blending functional essence;
2) adding the prepared essence with the smoking function into a tobacco material of a heating non-combustion tobacco product according to the addition amount.
The flavoring method provided by the invention can effectively endow the heated non-combustion tobacco products with obvious smoking aroma, enrich aroma and improve sensory quality, and can enable the sensory characteristics of the heated non-combustion tobacco products to be closer to that of the traditional cigarettes, thereby being beneficial to improving the market acceptance of the heated non-combustion tobacco products. The flavoring method provided by the invention has strong pertinence and operability and is easy for industrial production.

The invention is further described below with reference to examples of embodiment but without in any way limiting the scope of the invention.
Example 1
Blending of Fuxiangfu functional essence (mass percentage)
M-dimethoxyphenol 1.5%, p-dimethoxyphenol 0.5%, 2, 6-dimethoxyphenol 3%, p-ethylphenol 1%, 2-isopropylphenol 0.5%, 3, 4-dimethylphenol 0.5%, m-dimethoxybenzene 0.1%, p-dimethoxybenzene 0.2%, eugenol 1%, isoeugenol 0.5%, guaiacol 0.5%, propenyl ethylguaiacol 0.5%; and 86.7 percent of ethanol.
Example 2
Adding the prepared essence with the smoking function into tobacco shreds of flue-cured tobacco according to 30ppm, balancing for 48h, adding the tobacco material as a heating section into a heating section of a non-combustion laboratory device for heating tobacco, heating the flavored tobacco shreds at 300 ℃, and releasing smoke.
Sensory evaluation on the released smoke finds that the smoked aroma of the smoke released by the flavored cut tobacco in a heating non-combustion state is remarkable, the aroma is rich, the aroma quality is obviously improved, and the aroma is closer to the aroma characteristics of the traditional cigarette.
Example 3
In the raw material mixing stage in the tobacco particle preparation process, 60ppm of the prepared essence with the smoking function is added, the particles are molded, dried and balanced for 48 hours, and then the particles are added into a heating section of a tobacco heating non-combustion laboratory device as a tobacco material of the heating section, the flavored particles are heated at 300 ℃, and smoke is released.
Sensory evaluation on the released smoke finds that the smoke aroma of the smoke released by the flavored tobacco particles in a heating non-combustion state is remarkable, the aroma is rich, the aroma quality is obviously improved, and the aroma characteristics are closer to those of the traditional cigarette.
Example 4
In the preparation process of the tobacco sheet, the prepared essence with the smoking function is added into the coating liquid according to the addition amount of 80ppm, the sheet is formed and dried, and after the sheet is balanced for 48 hours, the sheet is added into a heating section of a tobacco heating non-combustion laboratory device as a tobacco material of the heating section, the flavored sheet is heated at 300 ℃, and the smoke is released.

Example 5
Adding the prepared essence with the smoking function into tobacco shreds of flue-cured tobaccos according to 50ppm, balancing for 48 hours, and adding the tobacco shreds as a heating section tobacco material into a heating section of a tobacco heating non-combustion laboratory device; adding the prepared essence with the smoking and perfuming functions into tobacco shreds of flue-cured tobaccos according to 150ppm, balancing for 48 hours, and adding the tobacco shreds as a tobacco material of a condensation section into the condensation section of a tobacco heating non-combustion laboratory device; and heating the tobacco shreds at 300 deg.C to release smoke.
Sensory evaluation on the released smoke finds that the smoked aroma of the smoke released by the flavored cut tobacco in a heating non-combustion state is remarkable, the aroma is rich, the aroma quality is obviously improved, and the aroma is closer to the aroma characteristics of the traditional cigarette.
Claims (7)
1. A tobacco material suitable for heating a non-combustible tobacco product is added with a functional spice, and the functional spice comprises the following components in percentage by weight: 3% of m-dimethoxyphenol, 5% of p-dimethoxyphenol, 2% of 2, 6-dimethoxyphenol, 3% of p-ethylphenol, 5% of 2-isopropylphenol, 4% of 3, 4-dimethylphenol, 0.5% of m-dimethoxybenzene, 0.5% of p-dimethoxybenzene, 3% of eugenol, 1% of isoeugenol, 2% of guaiacol and 1% of propenyl ethylguaiacol; 70% of solvent.
2. A non-combustible smoking article adapted for heating according to claim 1, wherein the solvent is one or a mixture of glycerol, propylene glycol and ethanol.
3. A smoking article adapted for heating non-combustible smoking articles according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the functional flavourant is added in an amount of 10-200 ppm.
4. A smoking article adapted for heating non-combustible smoking articles according to claim 1 or 2, wherein said smoking material is cut tobacco, tobacco particles or tobacco flakes.
5. A non-combustible smoking article adapted to be heated according to claim 4, wherein the flavoring of the cut filler is applied by conventional flavoring of cut filler of cigarettes; flavoring of the tobacco particles is applied in a raw material mixing stage before particle forming; the flavoring of the tobacco sheet is applied in the coating solution.
6. The tobacco product as claimed in claim 1, wherein the tobacco material is added in an amount of 10-100ppm in the heating zone and 200ppm in the condensing zone.
7. A method of making a smoking article according to any one of claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the method comprises the steps of:
1) blending functional spices;
2) adding the prepared smoking function spice into the tobacco material of the heating non-combustion tobacco product according to the addition amount.
