Abstract

发明领域
本发明涉及一种具有改进性能的电连接器。特别地,本发明改进了端口光指示器、电路板以及屏蔽件的性能。
背景技术
服务器或路由器中的电缆通常例如通过电缆端部处的插塞连接器或者插塞模块连接至印刷电路板,电缆插入安装于板上的相匹配的插座中。这些连接器通常通过波峰焊接或通孔回流焊接组装过程而焊接至PCB。然而,在某些情况下,不希望用于PCB组装的附加的波峰焊接过程,特别是在将表面安装部件组装至板的底侧的情况下更如此。另外,可能从插塞连接器与其相匹配的插座之间或者连接器屏蔽件与屏蔽件所安装于的面板之间的连接部泄露电磁辐射。该电磁辐射可能引起高速数据传输方面的问题,这是由于辐射会对连接器之间的信号传输具有负面影响。如果内部电磁辐射绕连接器发射至外部环境中,还可能与其他附近的装置产生干扰问题。

发明内容
因此,本发明可以提供一种电连接器,其包括具有接口侧和印刷电路板接合侧的壳体。至少一个内部电路板接纳在壳体中,并且至少一个端口位于壳体的接口侧。端口适于接纳相匹配的连接器。至少一个端口包括连接至内部电路板的至少一个信号接头。信号接头构造成与相匹配的连接器的对应的接头相匹配。内部电路板具有至少一个端子,至少一个端子具有延伸穿过壳体的印刷电路板接合侧的尾端部。至少一个端口光指示器与至少一个端口相邻。至少一个端口光指示器具有在壳体的接口侧处面向外的光元件和与光元件相对的端子端部。至少一个弹簧元件接纳在壳体中。至少一个弹簧元件具有接触端部和相对的压配合端部。接触端部抵靠至少一个端口光指示器的端子端部偏置并且与至少一个端口光指示器的端子端部接触。压配合端部延伸穿过壳体的印刷电路板接合侧。在优选的实施方式中,光元件为LED。

具体实施方式
参照图1至图6,本发明提供了电连接器100,电连接器100设计成连接至主印刷电路板102并且接纳一个或多个相匹配的连接器104。在优选的实施方式中,电连接器为接纳RJ系列插头的2×2构型的RJ系列类型连接器。
如图1中所看到的,连接器100通常包括壳体110,该壳体110具有接合主印刷电路板102的至少一个侧部112以及与匹配的连接器104相接的另一侧部114。内置于壳体110中的一个或多个连接器端口120单独地接纳相匹配的插头104。端口120包括光指示器122,光指示器122在照明时指示连接器形状配合地(positively)电连接至主印刷电路板102并且准备好接纳相匹配的插头。端口光指示器120构造成提供关于机械连接至主印刷电路板102的挠性以及容差,从而防止对指示器的损坏同时还降低成本。

至少一个端口,所述至少一个端口位于所述壳体的所述接口侧,所述端口适于接纳相匹配的连接器,所述至少一个端口包括连接至所述内部电路板的至少一个信号接头,所述信号接头构造成与所述相匹配的连接器的对应的接头相匹配,所述内部电路板具有至少一个端子,所述至少一个端子具有延伸穿过所述壳体的所述印刷电路板接合侧的尾端部;
至少一个端口光指示器,所述至少一个端口光指示器与所述至少一个端口相邻,所述至少一个端口光指示器具有在所述壳体的所述接口侧处面向外的光元件和与所述光元件相对的端子端部;以及
至少一个弹簧元件,所述至少一个弹簧元件接纳在所述壳体中,所述至少一个弹簧元件具有接触端部和相对的压配合端部,所述接触端部抵靠所述至少一个端口光指示器的所述端子端部偏置并且与所述至少一个端口光指示器的所述端子端部接触,并且所述压配合端部延伸穿过所述壳体的所述印刷电路板接合侧。

所述至少一个端口光指示器的所述端子端部包括弯曲部,所述弯曲部限定用于接触所述至少一个弹簧插入件的所述接触端部的接触区域。
12.一种电连接器,包括:
壳体,所述壳体具有接口侧和印刷电路板接合侧;
多个端口,所述多个端口位于所述壳体的所述接口侧,所述多个端口中的每个端口适于接纳单独的相匹配的连接器,所述多个端口中的每个端口包括连接至内部电路板的多个信号接头,所述信号接头构造成分别与所述单独的相匹配的连接器的对应的接头相匹配,所述内部电路板的每个内部电路板具有多个端子,所述端子的每个端子具有延伸穿过所述壳体的所述印刷电路板接合侧的尾端部;
多个端口光指示器,所述多个端口光指示器分别与所述多个端口相邻,所述多个端口光指示器的每个端口光指示器具有在所述壳体的所述接口侧处面向外的光元件和与所述光元件相对的端子端部;以及
多个弹簧元件,所述多个弹簧元件接纳在所述壳体中,所述多个弹簧元件中的每个弹簧元件具有接触端部和相对的压配合端部,每个所述接触端部抵靠所述多个端口光指示器的所述端子端部中的一个端子端部偏置并且与所述多个端口光指示器的所述端子端部中的一个端子端部接触,并且所述压配合端部延伸穿过所述壳体的所述印刷电路板接合侧。
13.根据权利要求12所述的电连接器,其中,
所述多个端口包括第一组下端口和第二组上端口,并且所述内部电路板分开所述下端口和所述上端口。
14.根据权利要求12所述的电连接器,其中,
所述多个端口中的每个端口包括多于一个所述端口光指示器。
15.根据权利要求12所述的电连接器,其中,
所述光元件中的每个光元件为LED。
16.根据权利要求12所述的电连接器,其中,
所述多个弹簧元件中的至少一个弹簧元件比所述多个弹簧元件中的另一个弹簧元件更长。
17.根据权利要求12所述的电连接器,其中,
所述弹簧元件的所述接触端部中的每个接触端部具有钩状形状。
18.根据权利要求12所述的电连接器,其中,
所述端子的所述尾端部中的每个尾端部为针眼式压配合的端部。
19.根据权利要求12所述的电连接器,其中,
所述弹簧插入件的所述压配合端部中的每个压配合端部为针眼式压配合的端部。
20.根据权利要求12所述的电连接器,其中,
所述相匹配的连接器为RJ系列插头。
