Abstract
本发明提供一种具备悬浮粒子器件(SPD)膜的夹层玻璃,该夹层玻璃通过抑制SPD膜的经时劣化、尤其是端部因水分侵入而引起的劣化,从而使透光率的切换特性长期良好。一种夹层玻璃,具备:相互对置的1对玻璃板;分别与上述1对玻璃板的对置面相接的1对中间粘接层;配置于规定区域的悬浮粒子器件膜,所述规定区域是上述1对中间粘接层之间的、与上述玻璃板的主面中的除去周边部的至少一部分的带状区域以外的区域对应的区域内的规定区域;和在上述1对中间粘接层之间以与上述带状区域对应的方式配置的、包含低透湿层和粘接层的层叠结构的阻挡层。

技术领域
本发明涉及夹层玻璃,尤其涉及具备悬浮粒子器件膜的夹层玻璃。
背景技术
作为面向建筑物、车辆的窗玻璃,已知有用电源开关的开/关将光的透射率进行电切换的玻璃(智能玻璃)。作为这样的智能玻璃中使用的功能性材料,有悬浮粒子器件(Suspended Particle Device(SPD),以下,有时称为“SPD”。)膜。
SPD膜通常以用涂布了透明导电膜的2片膜夹着含有利用外加电压能够进行取向的悬浮粒子的聚合物层的方式而构成。智能玻璃通过将这样的SPD膜封入用中间粘接膜贴合玻璃板而成的夹层玻璃中而制成。此时,出于保护SPD膜的端部的目的,将SPD膜以切割成小于玻璃板、中间粘接膜的尺寸且其端部被中间粘接膜覆盖的方式封入夹层玻璃。具体而言,通常为如下构成,即在SPD膜的周边部配置边框状的中间粘接膜,将其用2片中间粘接膜夹持而成的层叠体再用1对玻璃板夹着。
然而,即使将SPD膜如上所述封入夹层玻璃中,从夹层玻璃的端面侵入的热、水分也经由中间粘接膜而到达其端部,或者,由于中间粘接膜所含的增塑剂的影响而使端部劣化,作为结果,有在端部无法进行与电源开关的开/关对应的透光率的切换这一问题。
作为用于防止被封入该夹层玻璃的SPD膜的端部的劣化的方法,示出了涉及边框状的中间粘接膜的若干技术。例如,专利文献1中记载了如下技术,即,为了防止增塑剂从中间粘接膜侵入,而使用由乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯共聚物树脂等无增塑剂的材料构成的中间粘接膜。另外,专利文献2中记载了如下技术,即,为了抑制从边框状的中间粘接膜侵入的水分,在制作夹层玻璃前将包含边框状中间粘接膜的中间粘接膜的构成材料干燥,降低含水量。

发明内容
然而,即使采用这些技术,如果边框状的中间粘接膜的宽度变窄,例如其宽度变为10mm以下,则对于水分从夹层玻璃的端面侵入也没有足够的耐性,可看到劣化。因此,即使采用这些技术,也很难说作为汽车、建筑物的用途具有充分的耐久性。
因此,作为防止水分从夹层玻璃的端面侵入、且排除中间粘接膜的增塑剂的影响的方法,也考虑了在上述构成中将边框状的中间粘接膜置换成与其构成材料不同的膜,例如置换成由聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯树脂(PET)等透明聚酯树脂构成的膜。PET膜在使用时增塑剂不会溶出,并且透湿性低,因此,可期待也防止水分从夹层玻璃的端面侵入。
然而,使用PET膜的情况下,担心在边框状的PET膜的端面和与其相接的SPD膜的端面之间容易产生气泡而使外观受损。进而,边框状的层的厚度必须与厚度约250μm以上的SPD膜为同程度的厚度,例如,为PET膜的情况下,如果形成这样的厚度,则有透明性受损、且成本也增高这方面的问题。
本发明的目的在于提供一种具备SPD膜的夹层玻璃,该夹层玻璃通过抑制SPD膜的经时劣化、尤其是端部因水分侵入所致的劣化,从而使光的透射率的切换特性长期良好。
本发明的夹层玻璃具备:相互对置的1对玻璃板;分别与上述1对玻璃板的对置面相接的1对中间粘接层;配置于规定区域的悬浮粒子器件膜,所述规定区域是上述1对中间粘接层之间的、与上述玻璃板的主面中的除去周边部的至少一部分的带状区域以外的区域对应的区域内的规定区域;和在上述1对中间粘接层之间以与上述带状区域对应的方式配置的、包含低透湿层和粘接层的层叠结构的阻挡层。
根据本发明,可提供一种具备SPD膜的夹层玻璃,该夹层玻璃通过抑制SPD膜的经时劣化,尤其是端部因水分侵入所致的劣化,从而使光的透射率的切换特性长期良好。

具体实施方式
以下,说明本发明的实施方式。应予说明,本发明并不限定于这些实施方式,在不脱离本发明的主旨和范围的情况下,可以对这些实施方式进行变更或变形。
本发明的夹层玻璃是如下的夹层玻璃,即,具备:相互对置的1对玻璃板、和分别与上述1对玻璃板的对置面相接的1对中间粘接层,并且,在上述1对中间粘接层之间,SPD膜和包含低透湿层和粘接层的层叠结构的阻挡层按以下规定的位置关系进行配置。
本发明的夹层玻璃中,SPD膜被配置于上述1对中间粘接层之间。配置有SPD膜的区域是与上述玻璃板的主面中的除去周边部的至少一部分的带状区域以外的区域对应的区域内的规定区域。阻挡层以与上述带状区域对应的方式配置于上述1对中间粘接层之间。即,使用SPD膜和阻挡层,在上述1对中间粘接层之间形成与上述玻璃板的主面的形状相当的平面形状的层。只要该平面形状的层按如上所述配置SPD膜和阻挡层,则可以含有除SPD膜和阻挡层以外的其他层。
在本说明书中,玻璃板的主面的周边部是指从该主面的外周朝向中央部具有一定宽度的区域。另外,在本说明书中,对于玻璃板的主面,从中央部来看将外周侧称为外侧,从外周来看将中央部一侧称为内侧。
配置有阻挡层的带状区域根据需要可以是与上述玻璃板的主面对应的区域的周边部的至少一部分,也可以是全部。例如,在特别担心水分从一定方向侵入的用途等中,只要仅在与该方向对应的周边部设置带状的阻挡层即可。该情况下,SPD膜被配置于与上述玻璃板的主面对应的区域的除去配置有阻挡层的带状区域以外的区域中的规定区域。SPD膜的配置区域可以是与上述玻璃板的主面对应的区域的除去配置有阻挡层的带状区域以外的区域的整体,也可以是一部分。SPD膜的配置区域是与上述玻璃板的主面对应的区域的除去配置有阻挡层的带状区域以外的区域的一部分的情况下,在其余区域设置例如由与后述的中间粘接层的材料相同的材料构成的层。应予说明,SPD膜优选配置成:SPD膜的外侧的端面与阻挡层的内侧的端面相接。
应予说明,从更可靠地保护SPD膜的观点考虑,优选阻挡层带状地配置于与上述玻璃板的主面对应的区域的周边部的整体。即,阻挡层的平面形状优选为其外周与上述玻璃板的主面的外周大致一致的边框状。该情况下,SPD膜优选以其外周与阻挡层的内周大致一致的方式进行配置,SPD膜的外侧的端面(以下,也称为“外周面”。)整体以与阻挡层的内侧的端面(以下,也称为“内周面”。)整体相接的方式进行配置。
本发明的夹层玻璃中,通过如上述那样配置SPD膜和阻挡层,并将阻挡层形成包含低透湿层和粘接层的层叠结构,从而阻挡层能够充分抑制水分等从外部侵入,并能够抑制SPD膜特别是端部的劣化。另外,在本发明的夹层玻璃中,在SPD膜与阻挡层的端面彼此相接的情况下,在SPD膜与阻挡层的界面附近几乎不残留有气泡,能够抑制因残留气泡引起的外观不良的产生。
以下,参照附图说明本发明的夹层玻璃的实施方式。图1是本发明的夹层玻璃的实施方式的一个例子的主视图,图2是图1所示的夹层玻璃的X-X线的截面图。
图1和图2所示的的夹层玻璃10具备:相互对置的1对玻璃板1A、1B;分别与1对玻璃板1A、1B的对置面相接的1对中间粘接层2A、2B。在夹层玻璃10中,1对玻璃板1A、1B和1对中间粘接层2A、2B具有大致相同形状、相同尺寸的主面。
夹层玻璃10在1对中间粘接层2A、2B之间进一步具有SPD膜3,该SPD膜3具有与玻璃板1A、1B的主面大致相同形状但面积小的主面,且该主面的外周与玻璃板1A、1B的主面的外周相比位于内侧,在SPD膜3的外周面具有以与其外周面相接的方式进行配置的、具有与玻璃板1A、1B的主面的外周大致一致的外周的主面形状为边框状的阻挡层4。阻挡层4具有以2层低透湿层42a、42b夹持粘接层41而成的构成的层叠结构。
应予说明,虽然在图1和图2未图示,但夹层玻璃10具有用于连接SPD膜3所具有的透明电极和外部电源的布线导体。夹层玻璃10组装到窗框等中使用时,通过使用该布线导体与外部电源连接,从而可作为利用电源开关的开/关改变SPD膜3而对光的透射率进行电切换的玻璃(智能玻璃)发挥功能。
这里,本说明书中,“大致相同形状、相同尺寸”是指,人的肉眼所见中具有相同的形状、相同的尺寸。在其他情况下,“大致”也表示与上述相同的意思。
以下,对构成夹层玻璃10的各要素进行说明。
[玻璃板]
作为本发明的实施方式的夹层玻璃10中使用的玻璃板1A、1B的材质,可举出透明的无机玻璃、有机玻璃(树脂)。作为无机玻璃,没有特别限制,可使用通常的钠钙玻璃(也称为钠钙硅酸盐玻璃。)、硼硅酸玻璃、无碱玻璃、石英玻璃等。这些中,特别优选钠钙玻璃。成型方法也没有特别限定,但优选例如利用浮法等成型的浮法平板玻璃。
作为有机玻璃(树脂),可举出聚碳酸酯树脂、聚苯乙烯树脂、芳香族聚酯树脂、丙烯酸树脂、聚酯树脂、聚芳酯树脂、卤代双酚A与乙二醇的缩聚物、丙烯酸聚氨酯树脂、含卤代芳基的丙烯酸树脂等。它们中,优选芳香族系聚碳酸酯树脂等聚碳酸酯树脂、聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯系丙烯酸树脂等丙烯酸树脂,更优选聚碳酸酯树脂。进而,在聚碳酸酯树脂中,特别优选双酚A系聚碳酸酯树脂。应予说明,玻璃板可以含有2种以上上述树脂而构成。
作为上述玻璃,可以使用不添加着色成分的无色透明的材质,或者,可以在不损害本发明的效果的范围内使用经着色的着色透明的材质。此外,这些玻璃可以使用1种或组合两种以上使用,例如,也可以是层叠为2层以上的层叠基板。虽然取决于夹层玻璃的适用场所,但作为玻璃,优选无机玻璃。
夹层玻璃10中使用的1对玻璃板1A、1B可以由种类彼此不同的材质构成,但优选为相同材质构成。玻璃板1A、1B的形状可以为平板,也可以整面或部分具有曲率。玻璃板1A、1B的厚度可根据夹层玻璃10的用途进行适当地选择,但通常而言优选为1~10mm。进而,对于玻璃板1A、1B,可以对暴露于大气中的露出面实施赋予防水功能、亲水功能、防雾功能等的涂层。另外,可以在玻璃板1A、1B的相互对置的对置面实施低放射性涂层、红外线屏蔽涂层、导电性涂层等通常包含金属层的功能涂层。
应予说明,玻璃板1A、1B的对置面具有上述功能涂层的情况下,以下的中间粘接层2A、2B成为与玻璃板1A、1B的对置面上的该功能涂层相接的构成。
[中间粘接层]
夹层玻璃10中的1对中间粘接层2A、2B是具有与玻璃板1A、1B的主面大致相同形状、相同尺寸的主面,且厚度为后述所述的平膜状的层。中间粘接层2A、2B被设置在夹持SPD膜3和阻挡层4的同时分别与玻璃板1A、1B的对置面相接。这样,中间粘接层2A、2B具有如下功能,即,以介由该中间粘接层2A、2B在1对玻璃板1A、1B之间夹着SPD膜3和阻挡层4的方式进行粘接而一体化形成夹层玻璃10。
作为中间粘接层2A、2B的构成材料,通常,没有特别限制,可使用与在夹层玻璃中使用的以往公知的构成中间膜的材料相同的材料。作为中间粘接层2A、2B,具体而言,可举出将含有以下的热塑性树脂作为主成分的组合物制成具有与玻璃板1A、1B的主面为大致相同形状、相同尺寸的主面的片状的膜材料。
作为热塑性树脂,只要是将以其作为主成分的组合物制成片状的膜并作为1对中间粘接层2A、2B,用其夹持SPD膜3和阻挡层4之后插入1对玻璃板1A、1B之间,通过加热、加压而将夹层玻璃10成型时能够进行一体化,就没有特别限定。另外,优选形成夹层玻璃时具有能够充分识别SPD膜的光透射率的电切换的可见光透射率的热塑性树脂,特别优选作为在对SPD膜外加电压的可见光透射性的状态下的夹层玻璃,能够实现可见光透射率为30%以上的热塑性树脂。
作为热塑性树脂,具体而言,可举出聚乙烯醇缩乙醛树脂、聚乙烯醇缩丁醛树脂(PVB)、聚氯乙烯树脂、饱和聚酯树脂、聚氨酯树脂、乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯共聚物树脂(EVA)、乙烯-丙烯酸乙酯共聚物树脂等以往以来可用作中间膜的热塑性树脂。这些热塑性树脂可以单独使用,也可以并用两种以上。
夹层玻璃的中间粘接层用的热塑性树脂可以根据用途,考虑透明性、耐候性、强度、粘接力、耐贯通性、冲击能量吸收性、耐湿性、隔热性以及隔音性等各性能的平衡而选择。从这样的观点考虑,在上述热塑性树脂中,优选PVB、EVA等。
本发明的夹层玻璃由于具备SPD膜,因此,关于中间粘接层,在制造和使用时,优选不对SPD膜的功能带来影响的材料。这里,中间膜用的热塑性树脂大多含有增塑剂,例如,PVB通常也含有增塑剂。因此,中间粘接层使用PVB的情况下,优选选择含有不对使用的SPD膜带来影响的增塑剂的PVB。在该方面,由于EVA不含增塑剂,因此,作为中间粘接层的构成材料特别优选。
进而,夹层玻璃成型时的加热温度可以与中间膜用的热塑性树脂匹配地进行设定,但如果该加热温度为SPD膜的耐热温度以上,则形成夹层玻璃时,有时SPD膜不会充分发挥功能。但从该方面考虑,为了使夹层玻璃成型温度成为使用的SPD膜的耐热温度以下,优选选择中间膜用的热塑性树脂。夹层玻璃10中使用的1对中间粘接层2A、2B可以使用种类彼此不同的热塑性树脂而构成,但从上述观点考虑,优选使用相同的热塑性树脂来构成。
如上所述,在中间粘接层2A、2B的制作中可使用含有上述热塑性树脂作为主成分的含热塑性树脂的组合物。含热塑性树脂的组合物在不阻碍本发明的效果的范围内,可以根据各种目的而含有例如红外线吸收剂、紫外线吸收剂、荧光剂、粘接性调整剂、偶联剂、表面活性剂、抗氧化剂、热稳定剂、光稳定剂、脱水剂、消泡剂、防静电剂、阻燃剂等各种添加剂中的1种或两种以上。这些添加剂在中间粘接层2A、2B中整体均匀地含有。
应予说明,在上述添加剂中,特别是关于红外线吸收剂、紫外线吸收剂、荧光剂等用于对中间粘接层赋予粘接以外的其它功能的添加剂的含有,在1对中间粘接层2A、2B中,可以是仅一方含有的构成,也可以是双方都含有的构成,而且在双方都含有的情况下,可以含有相同量或不同量的同种的添加剂,也可以分别含有不同的添加剂。
中间粘接层2A、2B的膜厚没有特别限定。具体而言,与夹层玻璃用等通常使用的中间膜同样地,作为每1层的膜厚,优选为0.05~0.8mm,作为2层的合计膜厚,优选为0.1~1.6mm。如果中间粘接层的每1层的膜厚小于0.05mm,或者2层的合计膜厚小于0.1mm,则有时强度变得不充分,另外,玻璃失配大的情况下,变得容易发生剥离。相反,如果中间粘接层的每1层的膜厚超过0.8mm,或者2层的合计膜厚超过1.6mm,则在后述的夹层玻璃10制作时的压接工序、耐久试验(实际暴晒试验、高温试验)中,有时产生夹着该中间粘接层的1对玻璃板1A、1B发生错位的现象即所谓的板错位现象。
中间粘接层2A、2B各自不限定于单层结构。例如,可以使用日本特开2000-272936号公报等中公开的以提高隔音性能为目的而使用的、层叠性质不同(损耗正切不同)的树脂膜而成的多层树脂膜作为中间粘接层2A、2B。在这种情况下,中间粘接层2A、2B无需相同,可以相互独立地选择单层结构或多层结构。
[SPD膜]
SPD膜3具有相对于玻璃板1A、1B的主面为小面积且与其大致相似形状的主面,以使该主面的外周与玻璃板1A、1B的主面的外周相比位于内侧的方式配置于中间粘接层2A、2B之间。在夹层玻璃10中,组合了SPD膜3和阻挡层4而成的部件是主面与玻璃板1A、1B的主面成为大致相同形状、相同尺寸的构成,所述阻挡层4以其内周面与SPD膜3的外周面相接的方式进行配置且主面形状为边框状。
在图1、图2所示的夹层玻璃10中,玻璃板1A、1B的主面为矩形。SPD膜3的主面形状是其4边的周边部全部相对于玻璃板1A、1B的主面形状被切除成带状、换言之被切除成边框状的形状,为了填补该切除的部分而设置阻挡层4。根据需要,SPD膜3的主面形状可以是周边部的一部分、例如仅4边中的任一边的周边部相对于玻璃板1A、1B的主面形状被切除成带状的形状,也可以是任两边的周边部被切除的形状,也可以是任意3边的周边部被切除的形状。该情况下,阻挡层4可以根据SPD膜3所切除的形状,以填补其切除的部分的方式进行配设。
SPD膜3的切除部的宽度,即阻挡层4的宽度w可以根据用途适当地选择。在本发明的夹层玻璃中,如以下所说明,由于阻挡层是能够有效地抑制水分从夹层玻璃的端面侵入的构成,因此,可以将SPD膜3的切除部的宽度,即阻挡层4的宽度w的最大宽度设为10mm以下。
作为SPD膜3,可使用通常的SPD膜,该SPD膜如下构成,即,用在内侧涂布透明导电膜而成的2片电绝缘性膜夹着含有利用外加电压可进行取向的悬浮粒子的聚合物层。这样的SPD膜通过打开电源开关而在透明导电膜之间外加电压,使聚合物层中的悬浮粒子进行取向,从而成为可见光透射率高、透明性高的状态。在电源开关为关的状态下,聚合物层中的悬浮粒子不进行取向,而成为可见光透射率低、透明性低的状态。
应予说明,如上所述,SPD膜3的主面由树脂等电绝缘性膜的主面构成,虽然透明导电膜、含有悬浮粒子的聚合物层没有露出,但是是它们在SPD膜3的端面露出的构成。因此,通过用阻挡层4保护该端面,从而能够有效地抑制SPD膜3的周边部的可见光透射率对应于电源开关的开/关的切换发生不良情况。
作为SPD膜3,例如可使用LCF-1103DHA(商品名,日立化成公司制)等的市售品。应予说明,由于这样的市售品以规定的大小供给,因此,在使用时,与夹层玻璃的大小匹配地切割成所希望的大小来使用。应予说明,作为夹层玻璃10中使用的SPD膜3的厚度,没有特别限制,但从操作性和获得容易性的观点考虑,优选为0.2~0.4mm。
[阻挡层]
在夹层玻璃10中,阻挡层4出于保护SPD膜3的端面整体的目的,以其内周面与SPD膜3的外周面相接的方式用包围SPD膜3的形状配置于中间粘接层2A、2B之间。
如上所述,阻挡层4根据相对于玻璃板1A、1B的主面形状SPD膜3的主面具有的切除的部分的形状,以填补其切除的部分的方式进行配设。阻挡层4的宽度w根据用途适当地选择。在夹层玻璃10中,阻挡层4的宽度w即使为10mm以下,也可充分抑制水分从夹层玻璃10的端面侵入,从而能够维持防止SPD膜3的端面受水分影响的性质(以下,称为“防潮性”。)。由此,使用本实施方式的夹层玻璃时,则在具备SPD膜的夹层玻璃中,可用于进一步要求外观设计性的用途。
在本发明的实施方式的夹层玻璃中,可维持防潮性的阻挡层的宽度的下限也取决于阻挡层的厚度、层叠结构,但大体可以设为3mm。应予说明,在要求更高的防潮性的情况下,阻挡层的宽度的下限优选为5mm。
对于主面形状为矩形的夹层玻璃10所具有的、外周与玻璃板1A、1B的主面的外周大致一致的具有边框状的主面形状的阻挡层4,在沿着该矩形的4边的边框部分,宽度w只要为上述下限以上,则每个边可以相同或不同,也可以是与边无关地局部有大小。
另外,从充分保护SPD膜3的端面的观点考虑,阻挡层4的厚度优选与SPD膜3的厚度大致相同。具体而言,阻挡层4的厚度优选为SPD膜3的厚度的±0.1mm以内,更优选为±0.075mm以内。
阻挡层4具有在2层低透湿层42a、42b中夹持粘接层41而成的构成的层叠结构。应予说明,构成阻挡层4的各层的主面形状完全与阻挡层4的主面的形状相同。阻挡层4通过具有低透湿层42a、42b和粘接层41的层叠结构,从而在得到的夹层玻璃10中能够对SPD膜赋予防潮性。另外,能够消除全部以低透湿层构成阻挡层4的情况下所产生的因在阻挡层4与SPD膜3的界面附近残留有气泡而导致的外观不良。
作为2层低透湿层42a、42b的构成材料,只要是低透湿性的材料,即,形成夹层玻璃时利用粘接层41和1对中间粘接层2A、2B可被粘接固定的材料,就没有特别限制。这里,低透湿性是指水蒸气的透过性低的性质,在本发明的实施方式的夹层玻璃中的阻挡层的低透湿层具有低于粘接层的透湿性。
具体而言,低透湿层42a、42b优选由在厚度设为0.1mm时基于JISZ0208测定的温度40℃、湿度90%RH时的透湿性为15g/m2·day以下的低透湿性的材料构成,进而在与上述相同的条件下,更优选由透湿性为8g/m2·day以下的材料构成。
作为这样的低透湿性的材料,具体而言,可举出聚碳酸酯树脂、聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯树脂(PMMA)、聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯树脂(PET)、聚萘二甲酸乙二醇酯树脂(PEN)、聚酰亚胺树脂、聚醚砜树脂、聚芳酯树脂、尼龙树脂等树脂等。低透湿层42a、42b可以由相同的低透湿性的材料构成,也可以由不同的低透湿性的材料构成。
这些中,低透湿层42a、42b优选为以PET为主成分的膜(PET膜)构成。
这里,虽然取决于PET的种类、添加物,但厚度为0.1mm的PET膜的基于JIS Z0208测定的温度40℃、湿度90%RH时的透湿性为5~8g/m2·day左右。
低透湿层42a、42b的厚度取决于阻挡层4整体的厚度、阻挡层的宽度w,但在低透湿层42a、42b中,分别优选为0.05~0.25mm,更优选为0.10~0.19mm。进而,作为低透湿层42a、42b的合计的厚度,优选为0.10~0.40mm,更优选为0.15~0.38mm。通过使低透湿层42a、42b各自的厚度和合计厚度为上述范围,从而能够对阻挡层4赋予充分的防潮性。
被低透湿层42a、42b夹着的粘接层41可由与中间粘接层2A、2B相同的材料构成。粘接层41优选由选自EVA膜和PVB膜的树脂膜构成。
粘接层41将低透湿层42a、42b粘接,并一体化成阻挡层4,并且具有使阻挡层4与SPD膜3粘接的功能。另外,通过具有粘接层41,从而能够抑制在阻挡层4与SPD膜3的界面附近的气泡的残留。因此,粘接层41的厚度虽取决于阻挡层4整体的厚度、阻挡层的宽度w,但优选为0.05mm以上,更优选为0.1mm以上。但是,由于构成粘接层41的材料与低透湿层相比透湿性高,所以从防潮性的观点考虑,粘接层41的厚度虽取决于阻挡层4整体的厚度、阻挡层的宽度w,但优选为0.2mm以下。
这里,虽然取决于EVA、PVB的种类、添加物,但厚度为0.4mm的EVA膜和PVB膜的基于JIS Z0208测定的温度40℃、湿度90%RH时的透湿性分别为25~50g/m2·day左右和70~150g/m2·day左右。
另外,阻挡层4中,低透湿层42a、42b的合计厚度与阻挡层4的厚度之比优选为0.5~0.9,该比更优选为0.7~0.9。应予说明,如果低透湿层42a、42b的合计厚度与阻挡层4的厚度之比在上述范围,则阻挡层4具有充分的防潮性,并且能够保持充分的粘接性。另外,能够充分抑制气泡在阻挡层4与SPD膜3的界面附近残留而导致的外观不良。
在图1、2所示的夹层玻璃10中,阻挡层4是2层的低透湿层42a、42b夹持1层的粘接层41的3层层叠结构,但本发明的实施方式的夹层玻璃中的阻挡层的层叠结构不限定于此。阻挡层只要具有至少1层的低透湿层和至少1层的粘接层即可。例如,可以是粘接层和低透湿层每个具有各n层(n为整数)且它们交替层叠的构成,也可以是n+1层的粘接层与n层的低透湿层从粘接层开始交替层叠的构成。另外,也可以是如夹层玻璃10中的阻挡层4那样n+1层的低透湿层和n层的粘接层从低透湿层开始交替层叠的构成。另外,阻挡层在不损害本发明的效果的范围可以具有除低透湿层和粘接层以外的层。
在这些中,阻挡层优选的层叠结构是,n+1层的低透湿层和n层的粘接层从低透湿层开始交替层叠并且最后层叠的是低透湿层的层叠结构,n的个数更优选为1~3,如阻挡层4那样,特别优选n的个数为1的2层低透湿层夹持1层粘接层的3层层叠结构。
应予说明,任一种层叠结构的阻挡层的情况下,也与上述阻挡层4的情况同样地,低透湿层的合计厚度与阻挡层的合计厚度之比优选为0.5~0.9,该比更优选为0.7~0.9。
另外,阻挡层优选仅由低透湿层和粘接层构成,更优选仅由由PET膜构成的低透湿层和由EVA膜或PVB膜构成的粘接层构成。
以上,以图1、2所示的夹层玻璃10为例说明了本发明的夹层玻璃,但本发明并不限定于此。在不脱离本发明的主旨和范围的范围内,可以对设计进行变更或变形。实施方式的夹层玻璃根据需要,可以为具有3片以上的玻璃板的构成,例如,在夹层玻璃10的玻璃板1A或玻璃板1B的大气侧,分别经由与中间粘接层2A、2B分开准备的中间粘接层进一步层叠1片以上的玻璃板而成的夹层玻璃。另外,实施方式的夹层玻璃除上述构成要素以外,在不损害本发明的效果的范围内可以任意地具有其他层。
(其他层)
对于实施方式的夹层玻璃,作为其他层,可以在1对玻璃板之间具有除SPD膜以外的其他功能膜。具有其他功能膜的情况下,例如,除上述1对中间粘接层以外,进一步具有中间粘接层,按玻璃板、中间粘接层、其他功能膜、中间粘接层、组合了SPD膜和阻挡层而成的层、中间粘接层、玻璃板的顺序层叠而形成夹层玻璃。
作为其他功能膜,例如可举出红外线屏蔽膜等。作为红外线屏蔽膜,具体而言,可举出在厚度25~200μm左右的PET膜等支撑膜上,形成作为红外线反射膜的膜厚100~500nm左右的、电介质多层膜、液晶取向膜、含红外线反射材料的涂层膜、含金属膜的单层或多层的红外线反射膜等以往公知的红外线反射膜而成的红外线屏蔽膜。作为红外线屏蔽膜,可举出进一步层叠折射率不同的树脂膜而成的合计膜厚为25~200μm左右的电介质多层膜等。
对于实施方式的夹层玻璃,作为其他层,例如,出于隐蔽在夹层玻璃的框体等的安装部分、布线导体等的目的,可以在其周边部的部分或全部带状地具有黑色陶瓷层。黑色陶瓷层的宽度根据夹层玻璃的用途适当地选择。例如,夹层玻璃用于汽车的天窗部位的情况下,黑色陶瓷层通常形成为宽度为10~100mm左右的边框状。
黑色陶瓷层可如下形成,即,例如,在夹层玻璃具有的1对玻璃板中任1个玻璃板的大气侧或中间粘接层侧的主面,用通常的方法形成上述形状。黑色陶瓷层的形成位置根据使用用途适当地选择。
应予说明,黑色陶瓷层的“黑色”例如不是按色彩的三属性等规定的黑色的意思,而是包括可识别为以不透过可见光线的方式调整到至少要求隐蔽的部分能够隐蔽的程度的黑色的范围。因此,对于黑色陶瓷层,在发挥该功能的范围内,可以根据需要对黑色调整深浅,也可以是色调与色彩的三属性规定的黑色稍许不同。从同样的观点考虑,黑色陶瓷层可以根据所配设的位置以使层整体成为连续的一体膜的方式构成,也可以由在形状、配置等的设定中易于调整可视透光的比例的点图案等构成。
[夹层玻璃的制造]
本发明的实施方式的夹层玻璃可利用通常使用的公知技术制造。在夹层玻璃10中,制作在1对中间粘接层2A、2B之间以使SPD膜3和阻挡层4成为规定的位置关系的方式配置而成的层叠体,将该层叠体插入1对玻璃板1A、1B之间,准备按玻璃板1A、中间粘接层2A、由SPD膜3和阻挡层4构成的层、中间粘接层2B、玻璃板1B的顺序层叠而成的压接前的夹层玻璃即夹层玻璃前体。具有其他层的情况下,也同样地按照与得到的夹层玻璃同样的层叠顺序将玻璃板和各层层叠来准备夹层玻璃前体。
将该夹层玻璃前体放入如橡胶袋那样的真空袋中,将该真空袋与排气系统连接,以使真空袋内的压力成为约-65~-100kPa的减压度(绝对压力)的方式一边进行减压抽吸(脱气),一边在温度约70~110℃下进行粘接,由此得到实施方式的夹层玻璃。进而,例如,进行在100~110℃、压力0.6~1.3MPa的条件下进行加热加压的压接处理,由此能够得到耐久性更优异的夹层玻璃。
本发明的夹层玻璃是通过抑制SPD膜的经时劣化,特别是端部因水分侵入所致的劣化,从而使光的透射率的切换特性长期良好的夹层玻璃,例如,可适用于车辆用的窗玻璃、建筑物用的窗玻璃等。
[实施例]
以下,通过实施例进一步详细说明本发明。本发明并不受以下说明的实施方式和实施例的任何限定。
[实验例1]
如下,制作代替SPD膜而具有能够测定含水量的PVB的评价用样品,评价适用于本发明的夹层玻璃的阻挡层的防潮性。
(评价用样品的制作)
将在图3中示出主视图、在图4中示出端部的截面图的评价用样品20如下进行制作。
在由2片钠钙玻璃构成的玻璃板G(2mm厚,100mm见方)之间,以使99×97mm、0.8mm厚的PVB膜(Eastman Chemical公司制,RK11(商品名))P的2边与玻璃板G的2边一致的方式配置该PVB膜。另外,配置填补2片玻璃板G之间没有PVB膜P的部分的形状的、带状区域形成为L字形的阻挡层S。应予说明,阻挡层S以L字形的内侧的端面与和玻璃板G的2边不一致的PVB膜P的2边的端面相接的方式、并且以L字形的外侧与玻璃板G的外周一致的方式进行配置。应予说明,阻挡层S所具有的一带状区域的宽度为3mm,另一带状区域的宽度为1mm。
应予说明,阻挡层S的层叠结构如图4所示,是5层层叠结构,即,在2片PET膜(0.25mm厚,东洋纺织公司制,COSMOSHINE(商品名))s2、s4之间夹持EVA膜(0.1mm厚,Tosoh Nikkemi公司制,MeltheneG7055(商品名))s3,进而以夹着该层叠体的方式在2片PET膜s2、s4的两侧配置2片EVA膜(0.1mm厚,Tosoh Nikkemi公司制,MeltheneG7055(商品名))s1、s5。应予说明,基于JIS Z0208温度在40℃、湿度90%RH的条件下测定的上述使用的PET膜的厚度为0.1mm时的透湿性为6.0g/m2·day,上述使用的EVA膜的厚度为0.4mm时的透湿性为37g/m2·day。
将上述中得到的层叠体放入真空袋中进行脱气,之后投入保持在120℃的烘箱中,放置30分钟,进行压接,由此得到评价用样品20。应予说明,上述中制作2个同样的评价用样品20。
(防潮性评价)
将上述得到的评价用样品20的一个投入80℃、湿度95%RH的恒温恒湿槽中76小时,一个投入50℃、湿度95%RH的恒温恒湿槽中376小时。
从恒温恒湿槽中取出并恢复常温后,从配设有阻挡层S的一侧的玻璃板G的2边,对于阻挡层的宽度为1mm的边,以内侧3.5mm的A点为中心进行分光测定,对于阻挡层的宽度为3mm的边,以内侧5.5mm的B为中心进行分光测定,由此测定A点和B点的PVB膜P的含水率。应予说明,图3中,A点和B点分别为箭头的头部的顶点,包围该顶点的圆是示意地表示测定区域的范围。应予说明,图4中,L2表示阻挡层的宽度(1mm或3mm)。另外,图4中,L1为2mm,是表示在距离阻挡层的内侧为2mm的位置测定含水量的长度。将测定结果示于表1。
[比较实验例1]
在上述实验例1的评价用样品20中,代替阻挡层S而使用厚度0.8mm的EVA膜,除此以外,同样地制作比较实验用的评价用样品,进行上述同样的防潮性评价。将测定结果示于表1。

由表1可知,如果使用层叠低透湿层和粘接层而成的结构的阻挡层,则与仅使用粘接层的情况相比,防潮性优异。
[实施例1]
如下制作构成与上述作为实施方式的一个例子说明的图1、2所示的夹层玻璃10同样的,在图5中示出主视图,在图6中示出其Y-Y线截面图的夹层玻璃10s。
(夹层玻璃的制作)
在1片钠钙玻璃构成的玻璃板1A(100mm×100mm,2mm厚)上,以使由100×100mm、0.4mm厚的EVA膜(Tosoh Nikkemi公司制,MeltheneG7055(商品名))构成的中间粘接层2A的4边与玻璃板1A的4边一致的方式配置该EVA膜。
进而,在中间粘接层2A上以使与玻璃板1A同一尺寸的边框状的阻挡层4(内寸为94×92mm,4边分别具有1mm、3mm、5mm、5mm的宽度)的4边与玻璃板1A的4边一致的方式配置该阻挡层。阻挡层4的构成如下,即,是由EVA膜(0.05mm厚,Tosoh Nikkemi公司制,MeltheneG7055(商品名))构成的粘接层41被由PET膜(0.19mm厚,东洋纺织公司制,COSMOSHINE(商品名))构成的低透湿层42a和由PET膜(0.1mm厚,东洋纺织公司制,COSMOSHINE(商品名))构成的低透湿层42b夹持的构成。应予说明,粘接层41和低透湿层42a、42b的主面的尺寸均与阻挡层4的主面的尺寸相同。应予说明,基于JISZ0208在温度40℃、湿度90%RH的条件测定的、上述中使用的PET膜的厚度为0.1mm时的透湿性为6.0g/m2·day,上述中使用的EVA膜的厚度为0.4mm时的透湿性为37g/m2·day。
在阻挡层4的内侧切割成94×92mm的大小,将在94mm边中的一边附属有工作用的2根母排5a、5b和电缆(未图示)的SPD膜3(0.35mm厚,日立化成公司制,LCF-1103DHA 90(商品名))以端面彼此与阻挡层4相接的方式配置于阻挡层4的内侧。此时,SPD膜3的具有母排5a、5b的边以与宽度5mm的阻挡层4相接的方式配置。
进而,为了覆盖阻挡层4和SPD膜3的主面的整体,在它们上将与在上述中间粘接层2A中使用的材料相同的1片EVA膜作为中间粘接层2B,进而在其上将与上述玻璃板1A中使用的材料相同的1片玻璃板作为玻璃板1B,按顺序无偏差地重叠,用防移动胶带固定4边,从而制作层叠体。
将该层叠体装入真空袋中,在绝对压力-60kPa以下的减压下一边进行脱气,一边在110℃下进行压接,之后,在温度110℃、压力1.3MPa的条件下进行进一步压接,由此,得到具有1mm、3mm以及5mm宽度的边的边框状的阻挡层4和在其内侧具有SPD膜3的夹层玻璃10s。应予说明,在实施例1中制作2个夹层玻璃10s。
(比较例1)
将实施例1中的夹层玻璃10s的阻挡层4形成为厚度0.4mm的EVA膜,除此以外,与实施例1同样地制作2个比较例1的夹层玻璃。
将上述实施例1和比较例1中得到的各2个夹层玻璃中的各一个放置在80℃、湿度95%RH的恒温恒湿槽中76小时,将剩余的各另一个放置在50℃、湿度95%RH的恒温恒湿槽中376小时。
将在上述条件下放置后的各夹层玻璃从恒温恒湿槽取出并恢复常温后,以成为扁平状的状态从底面照明,SPD膜3在着色状态和透明状态的任一状态下,按1mm、3mm、5mm的阻挡层4的边宽目视观察从SPD膜3的外周可确认有劣化的宽度,并进行记录。将结果示于表2。

由表2可知,如果使用层叠低透湿层和粘接层而成的结构的阻挡层,则与仅使用粘接层的情况相比,SPD膜的劣化得到抑制。
Claims (9)
1.一种夹层玻璃,其具备:
相互对置的1对玻璃板;
分别与所述1对玻璃板的对置面相接的1对中间粘接层;
配置于规定区域的悬浮粒子器件膜,所述规定区域是所述1对中间粘接层之间的、与所述玻璃板的主面中的除去周边部的至少一部分的带状区域以外的区域对应的区域内的规定区域;和
在所述1对中间粘接层之间以与所述带状区域对应的方式配置的、包含低透湿层和粘接层的层叠结构的阻挡层。
2.根据权利要求1所述的夹层玻璃,所述阻挡层的平面形状为边框状,所述悬浮粒子器件膜配置成:所述规定区域是从与所述玻璃板的主面对应的区域中除去所述阻挡层的配置区域的全部区域,并且端面与所述阻挡层的内侧的端面相接。
3.根据权利要求1或2所述的夹层玻璃,其中,在将所述低透湿层的厚度设为0.1mm时,所述低透湿层基于JIS Z0208测定的温度40℃、湿度90%RH时的透湿性为15g/m2·day以下。
4.根据权利要求1~3中任一项所述的夹层玻璃,其中,所述低透湿层由聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯树脂膜构成。
5.根据权利要求1~4中任一项所述的夹层玻璃,其中,所述粘接层选自乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯共聚物树脂膜和聚乙烯醇缩丁醛树脂膜。
6.根据权利要求1~5中任一项所述的夹层玻璃,其中,所述阻挡层的最大宽度为10mm以下。
7.根据权利要求1~6中任一项所述的夹层玻璃,其中,所述阻挡层具有所述低透湿层2层夹持所述粘接层的层叠结构。
8.根据权利要求1~7中任一项所述的夹层玻璃,其中,所述阻挡层仅由所述低透湿层和所述粘接层构成,所述低透湿层由聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯树脂膜构成,所述粘接层选自乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯共聚物树脂膜和聚乙烯醇缩丁醛树脂膜。
9.根据权利要求1~8中任一项所述的夹层玻璃,其中,所述阻挡层中的所述低透湿层的合计厚度与所述阻挡层的合计厚度之比为0.5~0.9。
