· 外玻璃板、第一中间层、第二中间层和内玻璃板,
· 具有电可控制的光学性能的功能元件,其布置在第一中间层和第二中间层之间,和
· 热塑性的框架层,其框架状地围绕功能元件,
其中外玻璃板和内玻璃板通过第一中间层、第二中间层和热塑性的框架层相互接合,并且将光导体至少部分地布置在外玻璃板和内玻璃板之间。
术语“外玻璃板”和“内玻璃板”仅仅用于区分第一玻璃板和第二玻璃板。在使用复合玻璃板作为机动车玻璃板或建筑物玻璃板的情况下,外玻璃板优选但不是必须朝向复合玻璃板的外空间,并且内玻璃板优选但不是必须朝向复合玻璃板的内空间。
本发明的复合玻璃板优选用于在机动车的窗户开口处将内空间与外部环境分离开。内空间可以指机动车内室,因此内玻璃板在本发明中是指复合玻璃板的朝向内空间的玻璃板。外玻璃板是指朝向外部环境的玻璃板。
这里,复合玻璃板首先包括具有电可控制的光学性能的功能元件,其布置在第一中间层和第二中间层之间。热塑性的框架层围绕该功能元件,其中将光导体至少部分地布置在外玻璃板和内玻璃板之间。在制造复合玻璃板时,所述功能元件可以容易地嵌入到第一中间层和第二中间层之间。第一中间层、第二中间层和热塑性的框架层包含至少一种热塑性的聚合物,例如乙烯乙酸乙烯酯,聚乙烯醇缩丁醛,聚氨酯和/或其混合物和/或共聚物。热塑性接合膜的厚度优选为0.05 mm至2 mm,例如0.38 mm或0.76 mm。所述接合在热、真空和/或压力的作用下根据本身已知的方法实现。
本发明的具有电可控制的光学性能的复合玻璃板通过在复合玻璃板中使用光导体而具有有吸引力的重点照明。
与此同时,将光导体集成到复合玻璃板中可以节省大量空间,因为在复合玻璃板上不需要额外的光模块。
在一个有利的实施方案中,将光导体布置在热塑性的框架层和第二中间层之间。通过将光导体布置在热塑性的框架层和第二中间层之间并且该热塑性的框架层和第二中间层是柔软和可伸缩的,将光导体在层压过程中嵌入和固定在内玻璃板和外玻璃板之间。为了简化复合玻璃板的制造,可以将光导体在层压过程之前在压力和温度的作用下预固定在中间层的表面中。通过这样将光导体布置在内玻璃板附近,可以使其在内空间中清楚和明显地识别。
在本发明复合玻璃板的另一个有利的实施方案中,将光导体通过至少一个固定装置与中间层、外玻璃板和/或内玻璃板接合。这样的特别优点在于,将光导体在制造复合玻璃板的过程中在其位置处固定并且避免了滑移。该固定装置优选是透明的,从而没有或基本上没有不利地影响到复合玻璃板的透视性。
在另一个实施方案中,热塑性的框架层的尺寸使得它可以齐平地容纳所述功能元件。
在本发明复合玻璃板的一个特别有利的实施方案中,光导体是至少一种由玻璃和/或塑料构成的光学纤维。通过使用由玻璃和/或塑料构成的光学纤维来传导光,可以有利地以低消耗将光传输到复合玻璃板的任意位置处。
光导体可以至少部分地构成为光控制的。这里,光导体向复合玻璃板的外侧方向上发射光。光导体可以具有至少局部透明的管状护套或者替代地不具有包套。光的发射可以通过光导体的延伸部分延伸或者是点状的。
此外,除了第一和第二中间层可以提供用于反射红外辐射的第三中间层。在这种情况下,将第三中间层布置在第一中间层和第二中间层之间。
第三中间层可以具有聚乙烯醇缩丁醛,乙烯乙酸乙烯酯,聚氨酯和/或其混合物和/或共聚物和聚合物膜。优选使用一层聚乙烯醇缩丁醛(PVB)和聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯(PET)膜。PET膜对于第三中间层的稳定性特别有利。PVB膜包含至少一种热塑性聚合物,例如乙烯乙酸乙烯酯,聚乙烯醇缩丁醛,聚氨酯和/或其混合物和/或共聚物。热塑性PVB膜的厚度优选为0.05 mm至2 mm,例如0.38 mm或0.76 mm。
所述PET膜具有红外反射涂层。该红外反射涂层包含银,二氧化钛,氮化铝或氧化锌,其中优选使用银。为了在同时高的透明度的情况下改进导电性,所述涂层可以具有多个导电层,这些导电层通过至少一个介电层相互分离。所述红外反射的和导电的涂层可以例如包括两个、三个或四个导电层。所述红外反射涂层还可以具有这样的介电层,该介电层例如用于调节层电阻、用于腐蚀保护或用于减少反射。这样的红外反射涂层优选施加在朝向第一中间层的表面上。
在本发明复合玻璃板的一个特别有利的实施方案中,所述功能元件是PDLC(polymer dispersed liquid crystal)功能元件。PDLC功能元件具有这样的有源层,该有源层包含无序排列的液晶。这导致穿过有源层的光发生严重散射。此外,PDLC功能元件具有两个面电极。当在面电极上施加电压时,则液晶在一个方向上排列,并且通过有源层的光的透射显著增加。在没有施加电压的情况下,PDLC功能元件的特征在于白色乳状外观,这用作隐私保护。
在本发明的另一个有利的实施方案中,所述功能元件是SPD(suspended particledevice)功能元件。这里,有源层包含悬浮颗粒,其优选嵌入在粘稠基质中。光被有源层的吸收可以通过在面电极上施加电压而改变,这导致悬浮颗粒的取向变化。
有利地,功能元件布置在复合玻璃板的中心。功能元件可以通过接触元件电控制。
所述玻璃板优选包含玻璃,特别优选平板玻璃,浮法玻璃,石英玻璃,硼硅酸盐玻璃,钠钙玻璃,或透明塑料,特别优选刚性透明塑料,例如聚碳酸酯或聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯。所述玻璃板可以是透明的和清晰的,也或着色的或有色的。所述玻璃板的厚度可以宽泛地变化,因此适合于每种情况下的要求。每个玻璃板的厚度优选为0.5 mm至15 mm,特别优选1mm至5 mm。所述复合玻璃板可以具有任何三维形状。所述复合玻璃板优选地在空间的一个方向或多个方向上是平的或者略微或强烈弯曲的。
应理解,复合玻璃板可以具有一个或多个光导体。这里优选所有光导体一起或每个光导体单独地与发光器件耦合。所述一个或多个光导体可以以技术上可能的每种任意形式布置在复合玻璃板中,例如在边缘区域中、在中间、直线地、弯曲地或作为字符或符号。
本发明的另一个方面是复合玻璃板装置,其至少包括:
· 本发明的具有电可控制的光学性能的复合玻璃板,和
· 用于将光耦合到光导体中的发光器件。
来自发光器件的光耦合到光学纤维中并且继续传导或向外发射。为此,光导体具有在发光器件上耦合的第一端、第二端以及在第一端和第二端之间延伸的侧面。该侧面至少部分地用于径向发射光。
使用发光器件将光耦合到复合玻璃板的光导体中具有的优点是发光器件可以布置在任意位置处。以这种方式,复合玻璃板的外部配置不依赖于发光器件。发光器件可以布置在复合玻璃板的一个边缘上。
发光器件可以是彩色的或白色的。如果光学纤维或其周围环境可以将紫外光转换成可见光,则发光器件也可以发出紫外线范围内的光。优选的光颜色是红色(由于明显的信号效应),绿色(因为人眼对绿色光谱的高灵敏度)和蓝色(因为其特别美观和不太刺眼的效果)。
有利地,所述发光器件包括光源,特别是激光二极管。使用激光二极管的优点在于其功率特别强和有效。以这种方式,可以在复合玻璃板的多个位置处设置照明重点。在功能元件被光导体围绕的情况下,功能元件的完全照亮是可能的。
本发明还包括用于制造根据本发明具有电可控制的光学性能的复合玻璃板的方法,其中至少
a) 将外玻璃板、第一中间层、具有电可控制的光学性能的功能元件、框架状地围绕功能元件的热塑性的框架层、第二中间层和内玻璃板以这样的顺序叠加布置,并且将光导体至少部分地嵌入在外玻璃板和内玻璃板之间,
b) 将外玻璃板和内玻璃板通过层压接合,其中由第一中间层、第二中间层和框架层形成具有嵌入的功能元件和光导体的复合件。
所述功能元件的面电极的电接触优选在层压所述复合玻璃板之前实现。
可能存在的印刷物,例如不透明的遮蔽印刷物或用于功能元件的电接触的印刷的集电体(Sammelleiter)优选以丝网印刷方法施加。
层压优选在热、真空和/或压力的作用下进行。可以使用以下层压方法:高压釜方法,真空层压机或其组合。
此外,在步骤a)中可以提供用于反射红外辐射的第三中间层。在这种情况下,将第三中间层布置在第一中间层和第二中间层之间。第三中间层可以构成为所谓的双层。该双层包含聚乙烯醇缩丁醛,乙烯乙酸乙烯酯,聚氨酯和/或其混合物和/或共聚物和聚合物膜。优选地,使用一层聚乙烯醇缩丁醛(PVB)和聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯(PET)膜。PET膜具有红外反射涂层。优选地,PET膜和PVB膜分别由一个辊展开,接合成双层和该双层再在一个辊上卷起。为了制造双层,将卷起形式的PET膜和PVB膜展开,例如通过穿过炉而加热和然后通过压机或辊对压在一起。在一个实施方案中,将PET膜和PVB膜在连续工艺中展开、叠加放置和通过加热的辊对接合。辊的压力作用和在穿过辊时将热量传递到膜上足以实现膜的充分粘合。该双层本身之后同样可以再次提供为卷的形式,由此易于储存和运输。
优选地,在步骤a)中将双层布置在第一中间层和热塑性的框架层之间。
即使在复杂弯曲的玻璃板几何形状的情况下,双层的使用在复合玻璃板中实现了几乎没有褶皱的分层。
本发明还包括光导体在复合玻璃板或复合玻璃板装置中的用途,其中复合玻璃板包括具有电可控制的光学性能的功能元件,其中通过光导体实现复合玻璃板的照明。
本发明的另一个方面包括复合玻璃板或复合玻璃板装置在交通工具中、在建筑物中、用作家具和设备中的内置部件的用途,这些交通工具用于水陆空的交通,特别是火车、船和汽车,例如用作挡风玻璃、后窗玻璃、侧窗玻璃和/或顶玻璃,在建筑物中特别是指在入口区域、窗口区域、屋顶区域或立面区域中。
应理解,上述和在下面更详细阐述的特征不仅可以以所说明的组合和配置,而且可以以其他组合和配置或单独地使用,而不会脱离本发明的范围。

图1显示了本发明复合玻璃板装置100的俯视图,其包括本发明的复合玻璃板10和发光器件20。图2显示了沿着切割线A-A'穿过图1的复合玻璃板10的横截面图。在该实施例中,复合玻璃板10构成为载人汽车的顶玻璃。
本发明的复合玻璃板10包括具有内侧表面II的外玻璃板1、具有外侧表面III的内玻璃板2和第一中间层11、第二中间层12、第三中间层13和热塑性的框架层5。第一中间层11将外玻璃板1的内侧表面II与第三中间层13接合。第三中间层13进而将第一中间层11与热塑性的框架层5接合。热塑性的框架层5通过第二中间层12与内玻璃板2的外侧表面III接合。
外玻璃板1和内玻璃板2例如由钠钙玻璃组成和例如分别具有2.1 mm的厚度。第一中间层11、第二中间层12、第三中间层13和热塑性的框架层5分别例如是由聚乙烯醇缩丁醛(PVB)构成的、厚度为0.38 mm的膜。应理解,也可以使用其他玻璃质玻璃板或聚合物玻璃板作为外玻璃板1和内玻璃板2。此外,外玻璃板1和内玻璃板2的厚度可以适合于相应的应用。
在该具体实施例中,在热塑性的框架层5和第二中间层12之间布置光散射的光导体4。应理解,光导体4也可以布置在第二中间层12和内玻璃板2的外侧表面III之间。
复合玻璃板10在复合玻璃板10的中心区域中配备有功能元件3。该功能元件3是PDLC功能元件,其在所有侧边齐平地嵌入热塑性的框架层中。因此,该热塑性的框架层形成用于功能元件3的底板(Passepartout),该功能元件3四周封装在热塑性材料中。功能元件3是多层膜,其由在具有用作面电极的导电涂层的第一载体膜3.1和具有用作面电极的导电涂层的第二载体膜3.3之间的有源层3.2组成。有源层3.2包含其中分散有液晶的聚合物基质,这些液晶根据施加在面电极上的电压而取向。以这种方式,可以调节功能模块3的光学性能。第一和第二载体膜3.1和3.3由PET组成,并具有例如50μm的厚度。第一载体膜3.1或第二载体膜3.3的导电涂层朝向有源层3.2。导电涂层例如由ITO组成,其厚度在纳米范围内。所述导电涂层分别通过集电体和连接电缆(例如,“扁平连接器”)可电连接到电源电压。功能元件的侧边缘至少部分地设置有边缘密封,该边缘密封由透明丙烯酸粘合带形成。由此防止了扩散到有源层3.2中或从有源层3.2扩散出来。由于边缘密封是透明的,因此功能模块的侧边缘不会受干扰地引人注意。由于边缘密封防止增塑剂扩散到有源层3.2中,因此可以显著减少功能元件5的老化。
替代地,也可以在外玻璃板1和内玻璃板2之间布置另外的(这里没有示出的)中间层,其中光导体4布置在两个玻璃板1和2之间。
在制造复合玻璃板10时,外玻璃板1通过层压借助中间层而与内玻璃板2接合。外玻璃板1和内玻璃板2在通常的温度和压力下是非常刚性和不可伸缩的。第一、第二和第三中间层11、12、13以及热塑性的框架层则是塑性的,从而使得光导体4可以渗入到第二中间层12的表面中并且嵌入其中。
光散射的光导体4的直径d分别为90μm,并且适于通过其侧壁沿着其延伸长度发射光。这里,光通过光导体4的端面耦合到光导体4中。为此,在每个光导体4的一端上布置发光器件20。发光器件20例如由激光二极管组成,该激光二极管例如通过反射器可以将光耦合到光导体4中。在激光二极管上施加电压时,则光耦合到光导体4中。这时,光导体4在其表面上沿着其整个延伸长度散射光,从而使得光导体4在其整个延伸长度上发光。
在该实施例中,复合玻璃板10在外玻璃板1的内侧表面II的周围边缘区域上具有不透明的遮蔽印刷物7,例如由陶瓷着色剂构成的黑色印刷物,该陶瓷着色剂通过烧制与内玻璃板2的玻璃质表面III牢固地接合。遮蔽印刷物7的目的在于掩盖粘合位置上的透视性,而通过这些粘合位置将复合玻璃板10粘合到机动车车身中。同时,保护粘合位置免受光照射,特别是免受UV光的照射,这些光照射可能会加速粘合位置的老化。
在该实施例中,光导体4框架状地布置在复合玻璃板10的边缘区域中。光导体4这里例如布置在由外玻璃板2的内侧表面II通过遮蔽印刷物7掩盖的区域中。这意味着,光导体4从机动车内室可见。特别地,在光导体4的侧壁上发出的光也可以进入机动车内室。
发光器件20这里例如是强功率的激光二极管。使用该复合玻璃板10制造的复合玻璃板装置10例如如此构造,使得发光器件20照亮光导体4。这可以独立地或与其余的机动车照明同时发生。
发光器件20这里可以是单色的,或者通过不同的颜色设置不同的重点。不同的颜色使得机动车的照明有吸引力并且清晰可见。
应理解,光导体4不是或不仅仅必须沿着玻璃板的侧边缘布置,而是可以任意地布置。特别地,可以将一个或多个光导体4波状地,例如以正弦波的形式布置。
还应理解,光导体4可以具有这样的区域,在该区域中通过光导体4的侧壁发出光,从而可以照亮彼此不相关的符号。由此使得复合玻璃板10的美观设计明显更具有吸引力。
图3显示了根据本发明方法制造的本发明复合玻璃板装置100的组成。在内玻璃板2(这里是指下面的基层玻璃板)上,面状地布置波状的光导体4。光导体4被第二中间层12遮盖,在第二中间层12上布置带有热塑性的框架层5的功能元件3。在带有热塑性的框架层5的功能元件3上放置上第三中间层13。该第三中间层13包括由PVB膜和PET膜组成的双层。在一个优选的实施方案中,PET膜具有红外反射涂层。第一中间层11平面地布置在第三中间层11上,并且被外玻璃板1遮盖。
图4显示了本发明的复合玻璃板装置100的另一个实施方案的组成。该复合玻璃板装置100基本上对应于图3的实施方案。然而,波状的光导体4布置在第二中间层12和带有热塑性的框架层5的功能元件3之间。
图5以流程图的形式显示了根据本发明的制造方法的一个具体实施例。本发明的方法包括例如以下步骤:
a) 提供外玻璃板1,
b) 将第一中间层11置于外玻璃板1之上,
c) 将第三中间层13置于第一中间层11之上,其中第三中间层13具有红外反射涂层,
d) 将热塑性的框架层5置于第三中间层13之上,其中热塑性的框架层5用于容纳功能元件3,
e) 将功能元件3精确地置于热塑性的框架层5中,该功能元件3是PDLC功能元件,
f) 将第二中间层12置于功能元件3和热塑性的框架层5和PDLC功能元件3之上,
g) 将内玻璃板2置于第二中间层12之上,
h) 在复合工艺(例如高压釜)中层压该堆叠体。

Claims (15)

1.具有电可控制的光学性能的复合玻璃板(10),其包括:
·外玻璃板(1)、第一中间层(11)、第二中间层(12)和内玻璃板(2),
·具有电可控制的光学性能的功能元件(3),其布置在第一中间层(11)和第二中间层(12)之间,和
·热塑性的框架层(5),其框架状地围绕功能元件(3),
其中外玻璃板(1)和内玻璃板(2)通过第一中间层(11)、第二中间层(12)和热塑性的框架层(5)相互接合,并且将光导体(4)至少部分地布置在外玻璃板(1)和内玻璃板(2)之间。
2.根据权利要求1所述的复合玻璃板(10),其特征在于,光导体(4)布置在热塑性的框架层(5)和第二中间层(12)之间。
3.根据权利要求1或2所述的复合玻璃板(10),其特征在于,光导体(4)具有至少一种由玻璃和/或塑料构成的光学纤维。
4.根据权利要求1至3任一项所述的复合玻璃板(10),其特征在于,光导体(4)至少部分地构成为光控制的。
5.根据权利要求1至4任一项所述的复合玻璃板(10),其特征在于,提供用于反射红外辐射的第三中间层(13)。
6.根据权利要求5所述的复合玻璃板(10),其特征在于,第三中间层(13)布置在第一中间层(11)和第二中间层(12)之间。
7.根据权利要求5至6任一项所述的复合玻璃板(10),其特征在于,第三中间层(13)具有聚乙烯醇缩丁醛,乙烯乙酸乙烯酯,聚氨酯和/或其混合物和/或共聚物和聚合物膜。
8.根据权利要求7所述的复合玻璃板(10),其特征在于,所述聚合物膜具有红外反射的涂层。
9.根据权利要求1至8任一项所述的复合玻璃板(10),其特征在于,功能元件(3)是PDLC功能元件。
10.根据权利要求1至9任一项所述的复合玻璃板(10),其特征在于,功能元件(3)布置在复合玻璃板(10)的中心。
11.根据权利要求1至10任一项所述的复合玻璃板(10),其特征在于,功能元件(3)包括用于电控制的接触元件。

·根据权利要求1至11任一项所述的复合玻璃板(10),和
