本发明涉及利用电压来调节透射率的透射率变化膜及其制备方法。
背景技术
现有的透射率变化膜通过聚合物分散液晶(PDLC:PolymerDispersedLiquidCrystal)或电致变色(EC:Electrochromism)实现了性能。聚合物分散液晶的聚合物中存在胶囊化的液晶,并借助电场调节液晶的方向,从而对反射度及透射度进行调节。电致变色利用根据电场改变颜色的物质来调节透射度。最近,随着对各种显示装置及功能性玻璃的关注的上升,对具有高性能、能量高效率的透射率变化膜的关注逐渐上升。

本发明的一实例提供透射率变化膜,上述透射率变化膜包括:透明基材,线电极,形成于上述透明基材的上部,绝缘层,形成于上述线电极的上部,多个隔板,位于上述线电极的两侧,透明电极,形成于上述多个隔板的上部,单元槽,由上述多个隔板、绝缘层及透明电极包围而成,以及带电粒子流体,包含于上述单元槽的内部;上述绝缘层的厚度为0.4μm至1μm。
通常,为了防止电子通过电极排出的现象,在电极的上部以规定的厚度设置绝缘层的情况下,存在如下问题:这种绝缘层致使电场受损,因而用于启动器件的驱动电压上升,在上述器件为透射率变化膜的情况下,透射度变化量低,而导致利用领域缩小。

上述透明基材110为确保透射率变化膜的透明性,并作为支撑体而赋予耐久性的结构。上述透明基材110作为透明的树脂,可包含选自由聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯、聚氯乙烯、热塑性聚氨酯及它们的组合组成的组中的一种以上。在一实例中,上述透明基材110可以为聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯,由此上述透射率变化膜200能够实现优秀的透明性及耐久性。

上述线电极120可由包含银、铜或铝的金属网格(Metal-mesh)形成。在一实例中,上述线电极120由包含银的金属网格形成,由此能够实现耐蚀性方面有利的效果。具体地,上述线电极120通过利用印刷或蚀刻的方法将上述金属网格层叠于透明基材110的上部来形成。由此,能够简化环境污染严重的蚀刻(Etching)工序和能量消耗多的蒸镀工序,来实现环保性。

如图1及图2所示,上述透射率变化膜100、200可包含分别形成于上述线电极120的上部的绝缘层130。在上述线电极120的上部形成上述绝缘层130,从而能够防止上述线电极120与透明电极150之间的短路现象,并能够防止包含于上述带电粒子流体170的带电粒子172与上述线电极120直接接触而通过此排出的现象,由此能够确保稳定的驱动性及耐久性。

在上述多个隔板140的上部可以形成有透明电极150。上述透明电极150起到阴极(anode)的作用,并可包含铟锡氧化物、氟锡氧化物、铝锌氧化物或镓锌氧化物。在一实例中,上述透明电极150可以为包含铟锡氧化物的全面电极,由此能够实现更高的导电度。
上述透明电极150通过在透明的膜的上部涂敷上述氧化物而成,具体地,可通过溅射蒸镀的方法,在聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯材质的透明膜的上部涂敷铟锡氧化物来制备上述透明电极150。
上述透明电极150的厚度可以为约50至约200μm,具体地,可以为约120至约150μm。在上述透明电极150具有上述范围的厚度的情况下,既具有柔韧性(flexibility),又能够实现优秀的耐久性。
上述透射率变化膜100、200如上所述,由铟锡氧化物全面电极形成上述透明电极150,并由金属网格形成上述线电极120,从而能够解决资源枯竭及环境问题的同时获得优秀的透射率变化效率。
上述透射率变化膜100、200包括由上述多个隔板140、上述绝缘层130及上述透明电极150包围而成的单元槽160,上述单元槽160能够起到在内部包含带电粒子流体170的容器的作用。
上述带电粒子流体170是指多个带电粒子172分散于碳氢系列的介质171的流体。上述多个带电粒子172为具有电荷和颜色的粒子。如图1所示,在向上述透射率变化膜100施加电压之前,上述多个带电粒子172自由地分散于上述碳氢系列介质171而呈现不透明的特性。在施加电压之后,如图2所示,上述多个带电粒子172聚集在线电极120的上部,由此,上述透射率变化膜的透射率上升。
上述碳氢系列的介质171作为透明的流体,具有挥发性低、燃点高且无极性的特性。这种碳氢系列的介质可包含选自由正十二烷、甲基丙烯酸甲酯、十一烷及它们的组合组成的组中的一种以上。在一实例中,上述碳氢系列的介质171可包含正十二烷,由此不易蒸发,并有利于帮助带电粒子流畅地分散。
上述多个带电粒子172可具有相同的电荷。具体地,在一实例中,上述多个带电粒子172均可以具有(-)电荷的带电特性,上述线电极120作用为阳极,上述多个带电粒172一体地聚集在线电极120上,从而能够实现优秀的透射率变化的特性。
通过以下一般式1计算出的上述透射率变化膜的透射率变化度可以为约20%至约70%,具体地,可以为约40%至约70%,更具体地,可以为约50%至约70%。上述可变膜包括约0.4μm至约1μm厚度的绝缘层,从而能够具有上述范围的透射率变化度,并能够利用于需要优秀的透射率变化特性的各种领域,例如,各种显示装置。
一般式1:透射率变化度(%)=最终透射率(%)–初始透射率(%)
在上述一般式1中,上述最终透射率表示施加驱动电压之后测定的上述透射率变化膜的透射率,上述初始透射率表示施加驱动电压之前测定的上述透射率变化膜的透射率。
上述驱动电压可以为约10V至约40V,例如,可以为约40V。上述透射率变化膜包括线电极,在上述线电极的上部形成约0.4μm至约1μm厚度的绝缘层,从而能够缩短透射率变化的反应时间,并在与上述范围相同的低驱动电压的条件下,也能够实现优秀的透射率变化效果。
透射率变化膜的制备方法
本发明的另一实例提供透射率变化膜的制备方法,上述透射率变化膜的制备方法包括:准备透明基材的步骤,通过印刷或蚀刻工序,在上述透明基材上形成线电极的步骤,通过辊工序,在上述透明基材及线电极上一体地形成绝缘层及多个隔板的步骤,使上述绝缘层及多个隔板固化的步骤,在上述多个隔板的上部形成透明电极的步骤,以及将带电粒子流体注入于由上述多个隔板、绝缘层及透明电极包围而成的单元槽的步骤;上述绝缘层的厚度为0.4μm至1μm。
有关上述透明基材的事项如上述内容。
在形成上述线电极的步骤中,可通过印刷或蚀刻工序,在上述透明基材上层叠金属网格来形成上述线电极。有关上述金属网格的事项如上所述。在一实例中,上述线电极可通过印刷工序形成,具体地,可通过喷射含有金属粉末的墨溶液,来形成金属网格形态的线电极。在形成上述线电极时,与使用印刷工序的情况相比,能够实现更加微细的图案,并且制备工序被简化而能够节省制备费用及时间。
在一体地形成上述绝缘层及多个隔板的步骤中,上述绝缘层及多个隔板可通过辊工序形成。具体地,一体地形成上述绝缘层及多个隔板的步骤可包括:准备缠绕了压印有上述多个隔板的结构的模具的辊的步骤;将树脂组合物涂敷于上述辊的步骤;以及使上述辊在上述透明基材上滚动的步骤。
上述树脂组合物可以包含选自由氨基甲酸乙酯丙烯酸酯、环氧丙烯酸酯、聚酯丙烯酸酯、聚醚及它们的组合组成的组中的一种,在一实例中,上述树脂组合物可包含氨基甲酸乙酯丙烯酸酯及环氧丙烯酸酯中的一种以上。
通过上述辊工序,上述绝缘层及多个隔板形成为一体,从而能够节省制备费用及制备时间,并能够容易以0.4μm至1μm的厚度形成上述绝缘层,能够实现优秀的透射率变化度。
由于上述绝缘层的厚度为0.4μm至1μm,因此上述透射率变化膜即使在低电压的条件下也能够实现快速的透射率变化,并能够实现防止上述带电粒子通过电极排出,防止阴极及阳极之间的短路现象的效果。
并且,基于上述透射率变化膜的制备方法,上述绝缘层及多个隔板形成为一体,由此能够获得节省制备费用及缩短制备时间的效果,且能够容易以0.4μm至1μm的厚度制备上述绝缘层。
以下,揭示本发明的具体实施例。但以下所记载的实施例只用于具体地例示或说明本发明,本发明不局限于此。
实施例及比较例
实施例1
准备了厚度为120μm的聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯膜作为透明基材。接着,通过在上述透明基材的上部喷射含有银粉末的墨溶液并印刷金属网格图案,来形成了线电极。接着,在缠绕有绘制了多个隔板结构的压印模具的辊涂敷包含无溶剂式氨基甲酸乙酯丙烯酸酯的树脂之后,使上述辊在上述透明基材及线电极的上部滚动,由此将0.4μm厚度的绝缘层及多个隔板形成为一体。接着,用约350mJ/cm2的能量对上述绝缘层及隔板进行了光固化。接着,在上述多个隔板上层叠了包含铟锡氧化物的透明电极。之后,将通过在包含正十二烷的碳氢系列的介质分散具有(-)电荷的多个带电粒子而成的带电粒子流体注入于由上述多个隔板、绝缘层及透明电极包围而成的单元槽的内部,来制备了透射率变化膜。
实施例2
除了制备0.8μm厚度的绝缘层之外,以与实施例1相同的方法制备了透射率变化膜。
实施例3
除了制备1μm厚度的绝缘层之外,以与实施例1相同的方法制备了透射率变化膜。
比较例1
除了制备2μm厚度的绝缘层之外,以与实施例1相同的方法制备了透射率变化膜。
比较例2
除了制备3μm厚度的绝缘层之外,以与比较例1相同的方法制备了透射率变化膜。
评价
实验例1:透射率变化度的测定
针对上述实施例1至实施例3及比较例1至比较例2的透射率变化膜,利用透射率测定装置(德国毕克化学(BYK)公司的昙度仪(haze-gardplus)),在500nm的波长下测定了初始透射率及最终透射率,并通过以下一般式1计算出透射率变化度,并在下列表1中示出了结果。上述初始透射率是指施加电压之前的透射率变化膜的透射率,上述最终透射率是指施加约40V的电压之后的透射率变化膜的透射率。

由上表2可知,绝缘层的厚度为0.4μm至1μm的实施例1至实施例3的透射率变化膜相比于比较例1至比较例2的可变膜呈现更高的透射率变化度。即,实施例1至实施例3的透射率变化膜与比较例1至比较例2相比,能够实现更快的透射率变化速度,并能够呈现优秀的功能。

Claims (14)
1.一种透射率变化膜,其特征在于,包括:
透明基材,
线电极,形成于上述透明基材的上部,
绝缘层,形成于上述线电极的上部,
多个隔板,位于上述线电极的两侧,
透明电极,形成于上述多个隔板的上部,
单元槽,由上述多个隔板、绝缘层及透明电极包围而成,以及
带电粒子流体,包含于上述单元槽的内部;
上述绝缘层的厚度为0.4μm至1μm。
2.根据权利要求1所述的透射率变化膜,其特征在于,上述绝缘层及隔板成为一体化,并包含相同的材质。
3.根据权利要求1所述的透射率变化膜,其特征在于,上述绝缘层及隔板包含选自由氨基甲酸乙酯丙烯酸酯、环氧丙烯酸酯、聚酯丙烯酸酯、聚醚及它们的组合组成的组中的一种以上。
4.根据权利要求1所述的透射率变化膜,其特征在于,上述线电极由包含银、铜或铝的金属网格形成。
5.根据权利要求4所述的透射率变化膜,其特征在于,上述金属网格的线宽为2μm至20μm,上述金属网格的线间隔为40μm至300μm。
6.根据权利要求1所述的透射率变化膜,其特征在于,上述透明基材包含选自由聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯、聚氯乙烯、热塑性聚氨酯及它们的组合组成的组中的一种以上。
7.根据权利要求1所述的透射率变化膜,其特征在于,上述带电粒子流体通过在碳氢系列的介质分散有多个带电粒子而成。
8.根据权利要求7所述的透射率变化膜,其特征在于,上述碳氢系列的介质包含选自由正十二烷、甲基丙烯酸甲酯、十一烷及它们的组合组成的组中的一种以上。
9.根据权利要求7所述的透射率变化膜,其特征在于,上述多个带电粒子具有相同的电荷。
10.根据权利要求1所述的透射率变化膜,其特征在于,上述透明电极包含铟锡氧化物、氟锡氧化物、铝锌氧化物或镓锌氧化物。
11.根据权利要求1所述的透射率变化膜,其特征在于,通过以下一般式1计算出的上述透射率变化膜的透射率变化度为20%至70%,
一般式1:透射率变化度(%)=最终透射率(%)–初始透射率(%)。
12.一种透射率变化膜的制备方法,其特征在于,包括:
准备透明基材的步骤,
通过印刷或蚀刻工序,在上述透明基材上形成线电极的步骤,
通过辊工序,在上述透明基材及线电极上一体地形成绝缘层及多个隔板的步骤,
使上述绝缘层及多个隔板固化的步骤,
在上述多个隔板的上部形成透明电极的步骤,以及
将带电粒子流体注入于由上述多个隔板、绝缘层及透明电极包围而成的单元槽的步骤;
上述绝缘层的厚度为0.4μm至1μm。
13.根据权利要求12所述的透射率变化膜的制备方法,其特征在于,一体地形成上述绝缘层及多个隔板的步骤包括:
准备缠绕有压印了上述多个隔板的结构的模具的辊的步骤;
将树脂组合物涂敷于上述辊的步骤;以及
使上述辊在上述透明基材及线电极上滚动的步骤。
14.根据权利要求13所述的透射率变化膜的制备方法,其特征在于,上述树脂组合物包含选自由氨基甲酸乙酯丙烯酸酯、环氧丙烯酸酯、聚酯丙烯酸酯、聚醚及它们的组合组成的组中的一种。
