Abstract

本发明提供一种背光模组、窄边框液晶显示装置及胶框的成型工艺。本发明的背光模组,胶框的胶框内壁为灰度渐变的表面,从而能够针对性的增加胶框内壁的灰度对产生边缘亮线的光线进行吸收以消除液晶显示装置的边缘亮线,进而可减小胶框与液晶面板的显示区边缘的距离,实现液晶显示装置的窄边框设计,并同时减少背光模组的亮度损失。本发明的窄边框液晶显示装置,采用上述的背光模组,胶框内壁与显示区边缘的距离较小,实现了窄边框设计,且背光模组的亮度损失小。本发明的胶框的成型工艺,通过3D打印技术将胶框内壁的灰度制成渐变的,相较于传统的模具工艺,节省了大量的开模费用和开模时间。

Description

背光模组、窄边框液晶显示装置及胶框的成型工艺
技术领域
本发明涉及液晶显示领域,尤其涉及一种背光模组、窄边框液晶显示装置及胶框的成型工艺。
背景技术
液晶显示装置(Liquid Crystal Display,LCD)具有机身薄、省电、无辐射等众多优点,得到了广泛的应用。如:液晶电视、移动电话、个人数字助理(PDA)、数字相机、计算机屏幕或笔记本电脑屏幕等,在平板显示领域中占主导地位。现有市场上的液晶显示装置大部分为背光型液晶显示装置,其包括液晶面板、及背光模组(Backlight Module)。通常,液晶面板的结构是由一彩色滤光片基板(ColorFilter)、一薄膜晶体管阵列基板(Thin FilmTransistor Array Substrate,TFT ArraySubstrate)以及一配置于两基板间的液晶层(Liquid Crystal Layer)所构成,其工作原理是通过在两片玻璃基板上施加驱动电压来控制液晶层的液晶分子的旋转,将背光模组的光线折射出来产生画面。由于液晶面板本身不发光,需要借由背光模组提供的光源来正常显示影像,因此,背光模组成为液晶显示装置的关键组件之一。
窄边框液晶显示屏因其简洁、美观、相同尺寸可视面积大等优点,已成为高品质显示屏的主要发展趋势。如图1所示,现有液晶显示装置主要包括背光模块100,安装在所述背光模块100上方的液晶面板300,其中,所述背光模块100具体包括LED灯、胶框110、口字胶120、导光板130、增光膜和散光膜等,工作时,由所述LED灯发光,经导光板130打散,再通过各层膜片的聚光,使得整个背光模块100表面均匀发光;胶框110位于导光板130的外周,所述背光模块100采用胶框110和口字胶120配合的结构来其固定上方的液晶面板300。
目前实现窄边框设计的主要方式是通过减小胶框110宽度的方式以减小边框宽度。但如图1所示,胶框110与液晶面板300的显示区310(Active Area,AA)区边缘始终要保留一定距离d,通常至少为0.75mm,以防止显示边缘大视角漏光的发生,并需口字胶120进行遮挡向上的一部分光线,即防止大视角观看画面边缘时出现一条亮线,影响画质,因此这在一定程度上也限制了边框能缩窄的程度。
显然的,胶框110与导光板130相对的内表面的灰度对光线吸收有影响,灰度越深对光线的吸收越强,那么为解决上述问题,加深胶框100内表面的灰度即可实现减小胶框110与液晶面板300的显示区310边缘的距离,但从另一方面讲,胶框110对光线的吸收越强,背光模组100的亮度损失也就越大;另外,胶框110内表面不同区域受到的光照度是不同的,如果胶框110内表面只有单一的颜色加深,虽然吸收了光线,但也容易造成显示画面的局部亮暗不均,但传统的模具工艺很难实现胶框的灰度渐变。
发明内容
本发明的目的在于提供一种背光模组,胶框的胶框内壁为灰度渐变的表面,从而能够针对性的通过增加胶框内壁的灰度对产生边缘亮线的光线进行吸收以消除液晶显示装置的边缘亮线,进而实现液晶显示装置的窄边框设计,并同时减少背光模组的亮度损失。
本发明的目的还在于提供一种窄边框液晶显示装置,胶框内壁与显示区边缘的距离较小,实现了窄边框设计,背光模组的亮度损失小。
本发明的目的又在于提供一种胶框的成型工艺,通过3D打印技术将胶框内壁的灰度制成渐变的,能够用于实现液晶显示装置的窄边框设计,节省了大量的开模费用和开模时间。
为实现上述目的,本发明首先提供一种背光模组,包括:导光板、设于所述导光板外周的胶框、及贴设于所述胶框上并覆盖所述导光板与胶框之间的间隙而延伸覆盖至导光板四周边缘的口字胶;
所述胶框具有与所述导光板的侧面接触连接并围绕所述导光板四周的胶框内壁,所述胶框内壁具有渐变的灰度。
所述胶框内壁上各区域接受从所述导光板射入的光的强度不一致。
所述胶框内壁上接受从所述导光板射入的光的强度越高的区域,其灰度越高。
所述胶框具有与所述胶框内壁相对的胶框外壁,所述胶框外壁与胶框内壁之间的距离H为0.5mm以下。
所述背光模组还包括设于所述导光板上的光学膜片;所述光学膜片包括依次层叠设置在所述导光板上的下扩散膜、下棱镜片、上棱镜片。
所述光学膜片的面积与所述导光板的面积相等,所述口字胶覆盖所述光学膜片的四周边缘。
所述背光模组还包括位于所述导光板下方的反射片。
本发明首先还提供一种窄边框液晶显示装置,包括液晶面板和上述的背光模组,所述背光模组用于为所述液晶面板提供背光;
所述液晶面板包括显示区域、及位于显示区域外周的边缘区域。
所述胶框内壁与所述显示区域边缘之间的距离D为0.6-0.75mm。
本发明首先还提供一种胶框的成型工艺,采用3D打印技术将黑材料、白材料通过不同的出料口按照不同的比例制成胶框,使胶框的胶框壁灰度渐变。
本发明的有益效果:本发明提供的背光模组,胶框的胶框内壁为灰度渐变的表面,从而能够针对性的通过增加胶框内壁的灰度对产生边缘亮线的光线进行吸收以消除液晶显示装置的边缘亮线,进而可减小胶框与液晶面板的显示区边缘的距离,实现液晶显示装置的窄边框设计,并同时减少背光模组的亮度损失。本发明的窄边框液晶显示装置,采用上述的背光模组,胶框内壁与显示区边缘的距离较小,实现了窄边框设计,且背光模组的亮度损失小。本发明的胶框的成型工艺,通过3D打印技术将胶框内壁的灰度制成渐变的,相较于传统的模具工艺,节省了大量的开模费用和开模时间。

为更进一步阐述本发明所采取的技术手段及其效果,以下结合本发明的优选实施例及其附图进行详细描述。
请参阅图2,本发明提供的背光模组,包括:导光板11、设于所述导光板11外周的胶框12、及贴设于所述胶框12上并覆盖所述导光板11与胶框12之间的间隙而延伸覆盖至导光板四周边缘的口字胶14;
所述胶框12上与所述导光板11的侧面接触连接并围绕所述导光板11四周的胶框内壁121,具有渐变的灰度。
具体的,所述胶框内壁121上各区域接受从所述导光板11射入的光的强度不一致,所述胶框内壁121上接受从所述导光板11射入的光的强度越高的区域,其灰度越高。
具体的,按照现有的技术条件,胶框一般只能缩窄到0.4mm,在本发明中,为了实现窄边框设计,应尽量缩窄胶框的厚度,在本实施例中,所述胶框12上与所述胶框内壁121相对的胶框外壁122与胶框内壁121之间的距离H为0.4mm。
具体的,背光模组还包括设于所述导光板11上的光学膜片13、及位于所述导光板11下方的反射片15;所述光学膜片13包括依次层叠设置在所述导光板上的下扩散膜131、下棱镜片132、上棱镜片133。
具体的,所述光学膜片13的面积与所述导光板11的面积相等,所述口字胶14覆盖所述光学膜片13的四周边缘。
本发明的背光模组,胶框12的胶框内壁121为灰度渐变的表面,从而用于液晶显示装置中,能够针对性的通过增加胶框内壁121的灰度对产生边缘亮线的光线进行吸收以消除液晶显示面板的边缘亮线,因此不需要口字胶14对产生边缘亮线的光线进行遮挡,进而可减小胶框与液晶面板的显示区边缘的距离,实现液晶显示装置的窄边框设计,相较于通过同时增加胶框内壁上各区域的灰度来防止漏光的设计,减少了背光模组的亮度损失并不会存在局部亮暗不均的问题。
请参阅图2,基于上述的背光模组,本发明还提供一种窄边框液晶显示装置,包括液晶面板3和背光模组,所述背光模组用于为所述液晶面板3提供背光。
所述液晶面板3包括显示区域31、及位于显示区域31外周的边缘区域32。
所述背光模组包括:导光板11、设于所述导光板11外周的胶框12、及贴设于所述胶框12上并覆盖所述导光板11与胶框12之间的间隙而延伸覆盖至导光板四周边缘的口字胶14;
所述胶框12具有与所述导光板11的侧面接触连接并围绕所述导光板11四周的胶框内壁121,所述胶框内壁121具有渐变的灰度。

具体的,所述光学膜片13的面积与所述导光板11的面积相等,所述口字胶14覆盖所述光学膜片13的四周边缘。
需要说明的是,本发明的液晶显示装置,由于背光模组中的胶框12的胶框内壁121为灰度渐变的表面,既实现消除边缘亮线又减少了背光的损失,因此在本实施例中因此不需要口字胶14对产生边缘亮线的光线进行遮挡,进而减小了胶框内壁121与所述显示区域31边缘之间的距离D,在本实施例中为距离D为0.6mm,相对于传统的工艺,将液晶显示装置的边框缩小了至少0.15mm。
为使上述技术效果得以实现,本发明还提供一种胶框的成型工艺,采用3D打印技术将黑材料、白材料通过不同的出料口按照不同的比例制成胶框,使胶框的胶框壁的灰度渐变。将传统的模具工艺变更为3D打印工艺来制作胶框,可以简单的实现胶框的生产,解决传统的模具加工工艺难以实现胶框壁颜色渐变的问题,且节省了大量的开模费用和开模时间。
综上所述,本发明提供的背光模组,胶框的胶框内壁为灰度渐变的表面,从而能够针对性的通过增加胶框内壁的灰度对产生边缘亮线的光线进行吸收以消除液晶显示装置的边缘亮线,进而可减小胶框与液晶面板的显示区边缘的距离,实现液晶显示装置的窄边框设计,并同时减少背光模组的亮度损失。本发明的窄边框液晶显示装置,采用上述的背光模组,胶框内壁与显示区边缘的距离较小,实现了窄边框设计,且背光模组的亮度损失小。本发明的胶框的成型工艺,通过3D打印技术将胶框内壁的灰度制成渐变的,相较于传统的模具工艺,节省了大量的开模费用和开模时间。
以上所述,对于本领域的普通技术人员来说,可以根据本发明的技术方案和技术构思作出其他各种相应的改变和变形,而所有这些改变和变形都应属于本发明后附的权利要求的保护范围。

Claims (7)

1.一种背光模组,其特征在于,包括:导光板(11)、设于所述导光板(11)外周的胶框(12)、及贴设于所述胶框(12)上并覆盖所述导光板(11)与胶框(12)之间的间隙而延伸覆盖至导光板(11)四周边缘的口字胶(14);
所述胶框(12)具有与所述导光板(11)的侧面接触连接并围绕所述导光板(11)四周的胶框内壁(121),所述胶框内壁(121)具有渐变的灰度;
所述胶框内壁(121)上各区域接受从所述导光板(11)射入的光的强度不一致;
所述胶框内壁(121)上接受从所述导光板(11)射入的光的强度越高的区域,其灰度越高。
2.如权利要求1所述的背光模组,其特征在于,所述胶框(12)具有与所述胶框内壁(121)相对的胶框外壁(122),所述胶框外壁(122)与胶框内壁(121)之间的距离H为0.5mm以下。
3.如权利要求1所述的背光模组,其特征在于,还包括设于所述导光板(11)上的光学膜片(13);所述光学膜片(13)包括依次层叠设置在所述导光板上的下扩散膜(131)、下棱镜片(132)、上棱镜片(133)。
4.如权利要求3所述的背光模组,其特征在于,所述光学膜片(13)的面积与所述导光板(11)的面积相等,所述口字胶(14)覆盖所述光学膜片(13)的四周边缘。
5.如权利要求1所述的背光模组,其特征在于,还包括位于所述导光板(11)下方的反射片(15)。
6.一种窄边框液晶显示装置,其特征在于,包括液晶面板(3)和权利要求1-5中任一项所述的背光模组,所述背光模组用于为所述液晶面板(3)提供背光;
所述液晶面板(3)包括显示区域(31)、及位于显示区域(31)外周的边缘区域(32)。
7.如权利要求6所述的液晶显示装置,其特征在于,胶框内壁(121)与所述显示区域(31)边缘之间的距离D为0.6-0.75mm。
