Abstract

技术领域
本公开涉及基于估计将在换挡事件完成时出现的扭矩来针对换挡事件控制发动机分离离合器的控制策略。
背景技术
例如,当车辆在加速的同时换挡时,变速器的输出转速继续增加而至变速器的输入转速能够降低,允许额外的扭矩被输入到变速器。例如,在传统的非混合动力车辆中,由于换挡使得发动机转速能够从6000rpm变成2000rpm。在这样的转速下降的情况下,发动机提供突然的扭矩增加(torquebump)。如果扭矩增加足够大,且旋转的发动机的动量和惯性也足够大,则车辆的操作者可能经历可被察觉的“换挡冲击”。
在某些类型的混合动力电动车辆中,电动马达也可选择性地向变速器的输入提供扭矩。如果马达在整个换挡中提供扭矩时被结合到发动机使得它们一起旋转,则马达引入影响扭矩增加和换挡冲击的更多因素。
发明内容
根据一个实施例,一种车辆包括离合器和至少一个控制器。所述离合器选择性地结合发动机和电机。所述至少一个控制器被配置为:当离合器锁止时,响应于(估计将在预期的换挡事件完成时出现的)驱动扭矩超过可用的再生扭矩和发动机制动扭矩的组合,使离合器打滑。这使得在预期的换挡事件期间在离合器的下游传递的发动机扭矩减小。
估计将在预期的换挡事件完成时出现的扭矩可包括(i)估计将在预期的换挡事件之后可用的发动机扭矩和(ii)换挡事件之前的发动机扭矩之间的差。
估计将在预期的换挡事件之后可用的发动机扭矩可以是当离合器锁止时估计的发动机扭矩。
车辆还可包括具有输入的齿轮箱,其中,可用的再生扭矩是所述输入的转速的函数,从而所述至少一个控制器被配置为基于所述输入的转速来使离合器打滑。

当分离离合器26至少部分地接合时,动力可以从发动机14流到电机18或者从电机18流到发动机14。例如,分离离合器26可接合且电机18可运转为发电机以将曲轴28和电机轴30提供的旋转能转换成电能储存在电池20中。分离离合器26也可分离以将发动机14与动力传动系统12的剩余部分隔离,使得电机18能够作为HEV10的唯一驱动源。可沿着轴28设置双质量飞轮(DMF)29,以在分离离合器26接合和分离期间维持惯性并使传动系的扰动最小化。轴30延伸通过电机18。电机18持续地可驱动地连接到轴30,而发动机14只有当分离离合器26至少部分地接合时才可驱动地连接到轴30。
电机18经由轴30连接到变矩器22。因此,当分离离合器26至少部分地接合时,变矩器22连接到发动机14。变矩器22包括固定到电机轴30的泵轮和固定到变速器输入轴32的涡轮。由此,变矩器22在轴30和变速器输入轴32之间提供液力耦合。当泵轮旋转得比涡轮快时,变矩器22将动力从泵轮传递到涡轮。涡轮扭矩和泵轮扭矩的大小通常取决于相对转速。当泵轮转速与涡轮转速的比足够高时,涡轮扭矩是泵轮扭矩的倍数。还可设置变矩器旁通离合器34,变矩器旁通离合器34在接合时摩擦地或机械地结合变矩器22的泵轮和涡轮,允许更高效的动力传递。变矩器旁通离合器34可被运转为起步离合器以提供平顺的车辆起步。可替代地或组合地,对于不包括变矩器22或变矩器旁通离合器34的应用,可以在电机18和齿轮箱24之间提供类似于分离离合器26的起步离合器。在一些应用中,分离离合器26通常称为上游离合器而起步离合器34(可以是变矩器旁通离合器)通常称为下游离合器。
齿轮箱24可以包括通过摩擦元件(例如,离合器和制动器(未示出))的选择性接合而选择性地置于不同齿轮比以建立希望的多个离散或阶梯传动比的齿轮组(未示出)。可以通过连接和分离齿轮组的特定元件以控制变速器输出轴36和变速器输入轴32之间的传动比的换挡计划来控制摩擦元件。齿轮箱24基于各种车辆和环境工况通过关联的控制器(例如,动力传动系统控制单元(PCU))从一个传动比自动换挡至另一个传动比。齿轮箱24随后将动力传动系统输出扭矩提供至输出轴36。
应理解的是,与变矩器22一起使用的液压控制的齿轮箱24仅是齿轮箱或变速器布置的一个示例;在本公开的实施例中使用从发动机和/或马达接收输入扭矩并随后以不同的传动比提供扭矩至输出轴的任何多传动比变速器都是可以接受的。例如,齿轮箱24可以实施为包括沿换挡导轨平移/旋转换挡拨叉以选择希望的齿轮比的一个或更多个伺服马达的自动机械式(或手动)变速器(AMT)。如本领域普通技术人员通常理解的,例如在较高扭矩需求的应用中可以使用AMT。
如图1中的代表性实施例所示,输出轴36连接至差速器40。差速器40经由连接至差速器40的相应的轮轴44驱动一对车轮42。差速器向每个车轮42传输大约相等的扭矩同时允许轻微的转速差异(例如,当车辆转弯时)。可以使用不同类型的差速器或类似的装置将扭矩从动力传动系统分配至一个或更多个车轮。在一些应用中,例如取决于特定的运转模式或状况,扭矩分配可以变化。

车辆驾驶员使用加速器踏板52提供需求的扭矩指令、功率指令或驱动指令以推进车辆。通常,踩下和释放踏板52产生加速器踏板位置信号,所述加速器踏板位置信号可以分别被控制器50解释为增加功率或减小功率的需求。至少基于来自踏板的输入,控制器50命令来自发动机14和/或电机18的扭矩。控制器50还控制齿轮箱24内的换挡的正时以及分离离合器26和变矩器旁通离合器34的接合或分离。与分离离合器26类似,可在接合位置和分离位置之间的范围内调节变矩器旁通离合器34。除泵轮和涡轮之间的液力耦合产生的可变打滑之外,这也在变矩器22中产生可变打滑。可替代地,取决于特定应用,变矩器旁通离合器34可以运转为锁止或打开而不使用调节的运转模式。
为了通过发动机14驱动车辆,分离离合器26至少部分地接合以将至少一部分发动机扭矩通过分离离合器26传输至电机18并且再从电机18传输通过变矩器22和齿轮箱24。电机18可以通过提供使轴30转动的额外功率而辅助发动机14。该运转模式可以称为“混合动力模式”或“电动辅助模式”。
为了利用电机18作为唯一动力源驱动车辆,除了分离离合器26将发动机14与动力传动系统12的剩余部分隔离开之外,动力流保持相同。这段时间期间可以禁用或者关闭发动机14中的燃烧以节省燃料。例如,牵引电池20通过线路54将存储的电能传输至可以包括逆变器的电力电子器件56。电力电子器件56将来自电池20的DC电压转换成AC电压以供电机18使用。控制器50命令电力电子器件56将来自电池20的电压转换成提供至M/G18的AC电压以将正的或负的扭矩提供至轴30。该运转模式可以称为“纯电动”运转模式。
在任意运转模式中,电机18可以作为马达运转并且为动力传动系统12提供驱动力。可选地,电机18可以作为发电机运转并且将来自动力传动系统12的动能转换成电能存储在电池20中。例如,当发动机14为车辆10提供推进动力时,电机18可以作为发电机运转。此外,在来自旋转的车轮42的旋转能通过齿轮箱24回传并转换成电能存储在电池20中的再生制动的时间期间,电机18可以作为发电机运转。
应理解图1中说明的示意图仅仅是示例并且不意味着限制。可以预想利用发动机和马达两者的选择性接合以通过传动装置进行传输的其它配置。例如,电机18可以与曲轴28偏移、可以提供额外的马达来启动发动机14和/或可以在变矩器22和齿轮箱24之间提供M/G18。在不脱离本公开的范围的情况下,可以预想其它配置。
车辆诸如图1中举例说明的混合动力车辆可具有显著高于传统车辆的输入惯性。这是由于以下的事实,除发动机14和变矩器22外,还有电机18、分离离合器26和通常被用于在分离离合器26的接合和分离期间使传动系扰动最小化的可选的飞轮(例如,双质量飞轮“DMF”)29。如果设置DMF29,则DMF29不只是用于防止分离离合器26受到过多的扭转应力和疲劳,还承载大量的惯性。在高转速换挡(即,当轴30或泵轮以相对高的转速旋转时发生的换挡)期间,动力传动系统中的这些元件中的每个均引入了完成平顺的换挡事件转变必须被考虑和控制的因素。例如,当就在齿轮箱中的换挡事件之前泵轮旋转得相对快时,由于在换挡事件之后泵轮的转速急剧下降,所述换挡事件会导致动力传动系统中的扭矩增加。在这些高转速换挡事件期间,如果未控制发动机扭矩,则发动机扭矩由于惯性和泵轮转速的降低而自然增加。
在这些换挡事件的惯性阶段期间,应降低动力传动系统中的发动机扭矩以补偿由泵轮转速下降产生的惯性扭矩增加。根据本公开的各个实施例,分离离合器26能够被控制为适应并减轻在动力传动系统中出现的这种扭矩增加。例如,能够通过控制器命令减小分离离合器26处的液压压力,以便在高转速换挡事件期间允许分离离合器打滑。在一些即将到来的高转速换挡事件期间,在给定的转速,惯性扭矩增加的大小可能会超过可用的发动机扭矩和可用的电机负扭矩。例如,参见图2,图2示出了作为转速的函数的电机中的可用负扭矩的示例的表示。在这些时间降低分离离合器26处的压力或使分离离合器26打滑能够在高转速换挡时减轻传动系扰动。
参照图3,下文描述由控制器实现的控制策略的一个实施例,所述控制策略用于减小或消除动力传动系统中出现的惯性,由此减小或消除在换挡事件期间由车辆的乘员察觉到的动力传动系统扰动。首先,在102,控制器确定换挡计划并由此确定指示预期的换挡事件的条件。换挡可被命令为车速和加速器踏板位置的函数;由此所述换挡计划根据这些条件而改变。因此,在任何给定时间基于换挡计划可预测在预期的换挡事件开始时的泵轮转速。
在104,控制器基于例如车速和加速器踏板位置来确定是否预期到即将到来的换挡事件。控制器能够在齿轮箱将要改变挡位的精确时刻估计预期的换挡事件。

如果106的关系为真,则在108,控制器能够在即将到来的换挡事件期间准备并计划分离离合器打滑。当换挡事件按照其换挡计划发生时,在110,控制器通过例如命令减少离合器处的液压流体以减小离合器容量来命令分离离合器打滑。因此,该打滑将发动机、飞轮和分离惯性的一部分与动力传动系统的其余部分分离。这有效地降低了在动力传动系统处产生的全部惯性并减小或消除了由于过多的扭矩而导致的换挡冲击。
以上概述的控制策略最适合发动机开启且分离离合器锁止而即将进入计划的换挡事件的情况。当然,如果分离离合器已经以打滑状态运转,则控制器能够进一步减小压力从而减小扭矩。
在112,控制器可通过例如命令增加分离离合器处的液压压力而在换挡事件完成之后重新锁止离合器。这使发动机返回到其在换挡事件之前所处的结合状态。
然而,如果在106的比较不为真,则预期将在即将到来的换挡事件期间出现的扭矩差没有升高到会导致显著的换挡冲击的量。因此,使发动机和飞轮分离可能是不必要的。因此,在114,控制器维持正常的分离离合器压力命令,并且在116换挡事件在该正常的分离离合器压力下发生。
图4中示出了利用上面描述的控制策略的车辆的示例性测试结果。当发动机和电机的转速增加,同时接近预期的换挡事件时,驱动轴扭矩开始减小。大约在换挡事件的同时或就在换挡事件之前,分离离合器开始打滑。随着新的挡位被激活,电机扭矩相应地减小且发动机和电机的转速减小。当在换挡事件之后打滑降低时,分离离合器返回到正常运转。

Claims (7)

1.一种车辆,包括:
离合器,用于选择性地将发动机和电机结合;
至少一个控制器,被配置为:当离合器锁止时,响应于估计将在预期的换挡事件完成时出现的驱动扭矩超过可用的再生扭矩和发动机制动扭矩,使离合器打滑,以减小在预期的换挡事件期间在离合器的下游传递的发动机扭矩。
2.根据权利要求1所述的车辆,其中,可用的再生扭矩包括来自电机的最小的可用负扭矩。
3.根据权利要求1所述的车辆,其中,所述估计将在预期的换挡事件完成时出现的驱动扭矩包括(i)估计将在预期的换挡事件之后可用的发动机扭矩和(ii)在换挡事件之前的发动机扭矩之间的差。
4.根据权利要求3所述的车辆,其中,估计将在预期的换挡事件之后可用的发动机扭矩是当离合器锁止时估计的发动机扭矩。
5.根据权利要求1所述的车辆,还包括具有输入的齿轮箱,其中,可用的再生扭矩是所述输入的转速的函数,从而所述至少一个控制器被配置为基于所述输入的转速而使离合器打滑。
6.根据权利要求5所述的车辆,还包括具有结合到所述输入的泵轮的变矩器。
7.根据权利要求1所述的车辆,其中,所述至少一个控制器进一步被配置为:响应于换挡事件的完成,锁止所述离合器。
