本发明涉及切断刀或车槽刀。
本发明尤其涉及一种切断刀或车槽刀,该切断刀或车槽刀带有一个副切削刃,该副切削刃相对刀的纵向中心面的法线倾斜一个角度称之为刀的导入角。通常这样的刀分成三种,取名为右偏刀、左偏刀和端面刀(neutral inserts),右偏刀和左偏刀的命名取决于刀的倾斜方向,而端面刀的导入角实际是零度。
众所周知,双刀头可换刀有一个中心刀杆部分和两个相对置的切削部分。该刀可松脱地夹卡于刀架的一对卡爪之间,因而在任何特定的时间里,当一个工作的切削部分伸出刀架时,另一个非工作的切削部分夹卡在刀架中。为了确保刀在刀架中的固定工作位置和保证相应的工作切削刃的定位,通常刃架带有一个与刀的非工作端后端接触的支撑面,如此设置保证了工作中的刀总是固定在预定位置上。
在上述的双刀头刀上,在刀的前刀面和副后刀面的交汇处形成了切削刃。在左偏刀或右偏刀上的切削部分形成有导入角时,后刀面相对于刀的纵向中心面的法线有相应的倾斜角。结果,当刀全部插入刀架时,刀后端与刀架的支撑面之间的接触是通过后刀面的刃部分与刀架的支撑面接触而不是面与面的接触。容易看出,这样的刀—面接触方式导致刀在刀架中安装的不稳定性。还可以进一步发现,如果刀架的支撑面相对刀的后刀面有相似的倾斜使得刀与支撑面能有效地实现面—面接触时,那么左偏刀或右偏刀将不得不使用具有不同倾斜支撑表面的不同的刀架。
本发明的目的在于提供一种新的改进了的双刀头切削刀,它避免或消除了上述缺陷。
根据本发明提供的双刀头切断刀或车槽刀包含一个中心刀杆部分和一对相对置的切削部分。每一个切削部分包括前刀面、副后刀面、侧后刀面和在该前刀面与该副刀面交汇处形成的副切削刃。其特征在于,该副后刀面包含上后刀面部分和相对该上后刀面部分嵌进去的下接触面部分,该接触面部分实际上垂直于穿过该副切削刃的纵向中心面,还包含将该上后刀面部分与下接触面部分连接起来的中介面部分。
最好,该切削刃与该上后刀面相对上述平面的法线倾斜的角度是该切削刃的导入角。
因此,根据本发明的双刀头切断刀或车槽刀可以是端面刀类型,该刀的副切削刃与相关的上后刀面部分的导入角度为零,或者是右偏刀线左偏刀类型,该刀的副切削刃与相关的上后刀面部分相应有相反方向的导入角。但是,无论在任何情况下,由于该切削刀的接触面部分在整个接触面区域内与刀架的相邻支撑面接触,确保了该刀夹卡在合适的刀架中。这样,无论刀是端面刀、右偏刀或左偏刀,相同的刀架都可以有效地使用,并且同时保证了刀架中刀的有效支撑接触。
为了更好地了解本发明以及显示本发明如何在实施例中得以实施,以下将结合附图加以说明:
图1是根据本发明的双刀头切断刀和并置的刀架的透视示意图;
图2是图1所示刀的俯视图;
图3是图1和图2中所示的刀的切削部分的透视示意图(放大图);
图4是上述图中所示刀在图1中所示的刀架中夹持的透视图;和
图5显示的是根据本发明改进的双刀头刀的切削部分。
图中所示的双刀头切断刀和车槽刀1包括一个中心刀杆部分2和一对互相对置的切削部分3a和3b。每个切削部分(3a,3b)包含一个前刀面4和一个副后刀面5、侧后刀面6。在前刀面4和副后刀面5的交汇处形成副切削刃7。
图3可清楚看到,每个副后刀面5包括上后刀面部分5a、下接触面部分5b和作为连接上、下面部分5a和5b的中介面部分5c。在图3中可以进一步清楚看到,相对上后刀面部分5a,下接触面部分是嵌进去的。图2中可以看到,每个副切削刃相对刀的纵向中心面10的法线9倾斜一个α角度,该倾斜角度α定义为刀的导入角。根据α的方向,刀分成左偏刀和右偏刀,当α角为零时,刀是端面刀。图3中可以看到,上后刀面部分5a也相对刀的纵向中心轴线的法线倾斜相同的导入角α。另一方面,下接触面部分设置成实际上垂直于刀的纵向中心面。
图1-4中可以看到,刀设计为夹持在带有刀卡槽13的刀架12中,该刀卡槽是在可弹性移动的上卡爪16和相对固定的下卡爪17的上、下夹紧表面14和15之间形成的。
卡槽13的后端内表面形成有上、下曲面凹口18和19以及中心支撑面20。
从图4中可以看到,当刀夹卡在刀架12时,表面14和15与中心刀杆部分2的上下表面成夹紧配合,而刀的接触面部分5b与刀架的支撑面20紧密接触。这样,当刀的非工作切削端3b处于刀架中时,该切削刀7在凹口18内,此时刀的最底边线在凹口19内。
容易看出,不管刀的导入角方向如何,刀的接触面部分5b在其整个区域内与刀架的支撑面20紧密接触,因而刀紧紧夹持在刀架中。这样,一个同一类型的刀架能够可靠地用于夹卡右偏刀和左偏刀,当然,当刀是端面刀类型时,也同样可以安全可靠地夹持在刀架中。
如本发明所述的双刀头切断刀和车槽刀是容易制备出来的,例如,通过在合适的模具中对碳化钨粉末进行压实,然后烧结处理,因而在很多情况下省去了随后的研磨工序,但是也能够根据本发明使用研磨手段制造刀。以下将参考附图5作进一步说明,其中如图3所示的刀经过压实、烧结处理后,再接受研磨加工以获得增大的导入角,沿图5中所示的虚线进行研磨,在这种情况下,切削刀与上后刀面部分将显示该增大的导入角,而后刀面的下部分现在将形成了两部分,第一部分作为紧密接触面部分,用来在其整个表面区域内与刀架的支撑面20接触,以及倾斜一定角度的剩余部分。
根据本发明的、如上例举的右偏刀、左偏刀或端面刀类型的切削刀具能够有效和可靠地夹卡在适用于各种类型刀的刀架中,同时刀的后端通过在有效的表面区域内与刀架的支撑面接触,使其得以有效地支撑。
特别是,根据本发明的、切削刃的导入角度在0°-20°的切断刀和车槽刀可以有效地使用。
本发明以实施例的方式特别描述了只有一个副切削刃的双刀头切断刀和车槽刀,本发明同样适用于带有侧切削刃的刀,在切削部分上,侧切削刃由前刀面与相应的侧后刀面交汇而成。这样的刀可选择地用于车槽、切断或车削。

Claims (4)

1.一种双刀头切断刀或车槽刀包含有一个中心杆部分和一对相互对置的切削部分,每个切削部分有一个前刀面和副后刀面和侧后刀面,以及在该前刀面和该副后刀面的交汇处形成的副切削刃,其特征在于该副后刀面包括有一个上后刀面部分,和一个相对该上后刀面部分嵌进去的下接触面部分,该下接触面部分实际上垂直于穿过该副切削刃的纵向中心面,以及一个用来将两个上、下面部分连接起来的中介面部分。
2.如权利要求1所述的刀,其特征在于,所述切削刃和所述上后刀面部分相对所述的平面的法线倾斜一个所述切削刃的导入角。
3.如权利要求1或2所述的刀,其特征在于,用于车削的切削刃在所述的前刀面和所述的侧后刀面相应的交汇处形成。
4.如权利要求1所述的刀,其特征在于,所述用于连接的中介面部分是相对所述上后刀面嵌进并相对所述下接触面向外伸展。
