Abstract

Description

本发明涉及一种用于循环流化床燃烧室的冲击式粒子分离器,特别是在燃烧室出口缘高空间中位于出口上游的分离器。
用冲击式粒子分离器去掉气体中夹杂的固体物质已众所周知。这类粒子分离器的典型例子已在授予Weisgerber的美国专利US2,083,764、授予How的美国专利US2,163,600、授予Von  Dyken等人的美国专利US3,759,014、授予Gamble等人的美国专利US4,253,425以及授予Fore的美国专利US4,717,404中予以描述了。
根据粒子分离器在流化床燃烧室的位置,可将粒子分离器分为外式与内式两类。外式粒子分离器位于炉膛外部,其典型例描述于Holmes等人的专利US4,640,201和4,679,511Engstrom等人的专利US4,672,918和Morin的专利US4,683,840之中。内式粒子分离器位于炉膛之中,并已在Van  Gasselt等人的专利US4,532,871和4,589,352,Engstrm的专利US4,699,068、4,708,092和4,732,113以及Thornblad专利US4,730,563之中描述了。
上述后一种内式分离器或者包含有跨越整个缘高空间难于清除堵塞物及支承的挡板,或者包含有极类似外式粒子分离器的内挡板与滑槽装置。
于是,本发明的一个目的就是提供一种位于炉膛内但不会在炉膛缘高中造成阻碍的粒子分离器。本发明的另一目的是提供一种无需改造炉膛内腔或收集粒子沟槽的内式粒子分离器,本发明进一步的目的是增大锅炉的平均密度,同时加大固体滞留时间,这样就提高了炉的热导率并改善了碳的转化效率。此外,增强硫的捕集而无需增加外粒子循环率,改进了吸附剂的利用。本发明的这些及其它目的在进一步研究之后清楚可见。
本发明公开了一种供循环流化床燃烧室用的内冲击式粒子分离器,此粒子分离器与许多凹形的冲击元件共同作用。冲击元件被支承于炉膛内,并至少交错两列、均匀地跨越整个炉膛出口孔。相邻的冲击元件也在此出口的下方延伸,使收集到的粒子不受阻碍地、无需渠道地在这些元件之下直接落至炉下部带走并再循环。交错的冲击元件的行间间隔为相邻元件间距离的50%至70%,而其中一行离炉膛或炉膛出口的距离则不超过凹形冲击元件深度的15%。最好有一挡板连接在冲击元件的下端区域,以阻塞冲击元件之间的垂直气体通道。

参看图1、2和3,其中示出了循环流化床燃烧室10的局部。如图所示,燃烧室10是一种有至少一排最好是两排或多排支承于燃烧室10顶部的冲击元件12的设备。这些冲击元件12可做为后接的烟气通道20的第一级分离器,(如图1所示,通道与其它分离器或传热面相连)或如图2所示与其它在下游的冲击元件30相连,或如图3所示与在下游处通道对流加热面32结合使用。
在任何情况下,冲击元件12都不是平面形的,它们可以是U-形,E-形,W-形或其它任何有凹形表面的形状。元件12的两行交错排列以使烟气14通过时所夹带的固体粒子撞击到凹形表面上,然后,这些被收集的粒子沿横截于烟气流14方向自由落下。
冲击元件12位于炉膛16内,并在上游处完全跨越炉子出口18,出口18不小于燃烧室壁宽度的70%,而较理想地是在跨越出口18的全部宽度延伸,冲击元件12亦如此。此外,为覆盖出口18,每一冲击元件12亦延伸到低于出口之下的1英尺的位置。在此种形式中,当烟气14自炉膛16中排出时,必然首先通过恰在出口18上游处的冲击元件12。烟气通道20最好安排在出口18的下游处,以便既基本不改变烟气14流动方向,也不减少正对出口18下游处的烟气通道尺寸。在最佳实施例中,则在离出口18的下列距离内不改变该管道尺寸或流动方向:(1)垂直方向测量:冲击元件12长度的25%或(2)水平方向测量,为出口宽度的25%。
现在,更仔细地研究图4,它表示了炉膛16中各冲击元件12的间隔。“A”表示相邻元件12之间的距离;“B”是某行中的一个元件12与相邻行元件的重迭部分,一般地,“B”为间隙“A”的5%到15%;“C”是相邻各行间的距离,此值一般为间隙“A”的50%到75%;“D”是末排元件与锅炉后壁22之间的间隙,间隙“D”通常为冲击元件12的凹度的15%或小于15%,以减少旁路现象;冲击元件的凹度用距离“E”表示。
L形挡板24固定于靠近冲击元件12各行端部的炉膛16内,各挡板沿其所对应的元件12的长度延伸,以防止烟气14沿炉膛16自元件12旁路通过。
在另外的实施例中,如图5、6和7所示,靠近冲击元件12底部加一挡板26,此挡板26低于出口18下部,可以是水平的(图5),也可以相对于开口18向下有个角度(图6),无论何种情况,挡板26都如图所示地使烟气14流过冲击元件12,从而阻止烟气沿冲击元件12直接向上流入烟气通道20。
当然,所收集的粒子仍可以沿冲击元件12向下流动并通过挡板26上的各个小孔。在这种形式中,从烟气14的新流动路径来看,沿炉壁22向下流动的再循环的粒子中来自向上的烟气流14的再夹杂现象将减少。
为了不使烟气走捷径,挡板26设计成覆盖着每个冲击元件12之间的流动面积,但不覆盖每个元件12中的中凹形区域的形状。有角度或倾斜的挡板26则可防止任何固体物在其上堆积。
冲击元件12的端部最好位于挡板之下4到16英寸之间,而且挡板26周边上常设有凸缘以增强其刚度。同样,在有挡板26时,挡板和邻近壁之间的间隙最好不大于1/4英寸。
图7中示出了一种具有漏斗形端部28的冲击元件12,它设有可使向上的烟气流14通过的更小的开口。漏斗形端部另外的功能是将被分离出的固体移开炉壁22以免靠近出口的炉壁局部腐蚀。漏斗形端部28的开口“F”最好为“E”的一半,但在任何情况下不应小于2.5英寸。
在最佳实施例中,元件12的长度、宽度、数量、形状和间距的选择应使烟气14通过冲击元件的最佳速度为6~8米/秒,但对于无挡板26的实施例不大于10米/秒,而对于有挡板26的实施例则不大于13米/秒。这些数据是在大的烟气速度范围对各种U-形梁式内冲击元件进行试验后确定的。一般地说,分离器中较低的烟气速度与较高的收集效率相关,但是需要较长的冲击元件12。业已发现数值在6~8米/秒时可减少烟气14的粒子夹带,同时对于商业使用的燃烧室来说此时冲击元件12的长度也是可以接受的。
工作过程中,元件12沿每个元件的底部排放其所收集的固体物,然后所排放的固体物沿邻近的炉壁22自由落下,直接回到流化床的下部,从而增加了流化床的平均密度与粒子滞留时间。勿须在炉膛缘高附加沟槽、挡板或其它障碍,即可使这些粒子返回流化床。
在无挡板的实施例的试验中发现,一排冲击元件可成倍地提高平均床密度,而两排时则密度几乎提高了三倍。于是,建议至少使用两排冲击元件12。试验还表明,有挡板26者所增加的床密度约超过无挡板26的同类装置的三倍。密度的提高增加了平均传热率,减少了所需的传热面积,降低了成本。此外,较高的床密度增加了粒子在床上的滞留时间,从而增进了碳转化效率与捕集硫用的吸收剂的利用。还提倡在燃烧室10中有较高的温度一致性,使整个燃烧室中的捕集硫的反应在最佳温度下进行。
这种成行安装在燃烧室10内部第二分离器上游的冲击元件12还有另一个优点,就是对于给定平均炉密度,带入烟道20的较粗大的床粒子减少了,这就降低了在该通道中管路腐蚀的可能性、增加了细碳浓度,并可由外部或第二粒子收集器收集吸收剂粒子,然后重返燃烧室中再循环。

Claims (15)

1、一种循环流化床燃烧器用的内冲击式粒子分离器,包括多个支承于炉膛内部的凹形冲击元件,上述元件至少两排交错地、均匀一致地跨越在炉膛出口上游处,并沿上述开口的长度延伸至低于上述出口的较低的位置处,使收集到的粒子不受阻碍而又无需渠道地直接落在上述元件之下,并沿上述炉腔的一个壁重新进入再循环;上述交错的行间彼此分开的距离至少为相邻上述元件间距离的50%,而其中一行离上述炉壁的距离则小于上述凹形冲击元件的深度。
2、一种如权利要求1中所提出的装置,其中上述一行元件与相邻行重迭一定距离,该距离为上述行内的相邻元件间距的5%至15%。
3、一种如权利要求2中所提出的装置,其中上述交错行间彼此的间距为上述一行中相邻的上述元件间距的50%至70%。
4、一种如权利要求3中所提出的装置,其中上述炉膛的一个壁与邻近的上述元件的行间的距离小于上述凹形冲击元件深度的15%。
5、一种如权利要求4中所提的装置,其中上述出口的烟气通道下游的形状使得:
(1)在离上述出口的距离等于上述冲击元件长度25%的范围内,烟气流向无垂直变化,也没有烟气通道的尺寸变化;
(2)在离上述出口的距离等于上述冲击元件宽度25%的范围内,烟气流向无水平变化,也无烟气通道的尺寸变化。
6、一种如权利要求5中所提出的装置,其中还包括长的L-形挡板,它固定在靠近上述元件各行端部与上述炉膛相对的两侧壁上,用以防止烟气沿上述炉腔壁旁路。
7、一种如权利要求6中提出的装置,其中上述冲击元件延伸到上述出口下面约1英尺。
8、一种如权利要求7中提出的装置,进一步还包括在上述炉腔出口下面、固定在上述冲击元件的下端部分的挡板,它能阻塞上述冲击元件间的烟气垂直通道。
9、一种如权利要求8所提出的装置,其中上述挡板是水平的。
10、一种如权利要求8所提出的装置,其中上述挡板相对于上述冲击元件有一角度。
11、一种如权利要求8所提出的装置,其中上述挡板离开上述炉膛的距离不大于1/4英寸,以防止烟气旁路。
12、一种如权利要求11中所提出的装置,其中上述挡板位于离上述冲击元件的底端的距离在4到12英寸之间。
13、一种如权利要求12中所提出的装置,其中在上述挡板之下的冲击元件的出口端为漏斗形。
14、一种如权利要求7中提出的装置,其中上述炉膛出口宽度包括不小于炉膛的一个上述炉壁宽度的70%。
15、一种如权利要求7中所提出的装置,其中上述冲击元件是U-形、E-形、W-形或其它类似的凹形。
