Description

包装设备及方法
技术领域
本发明涉及一种用于包装物品的包装设备和包装物品,例如包装一包香烟、小雪茄烟、雪茄烟等的方法,在这里为清楚、简洁起见,它们将被统称为“吸烟物品(smokingarticle)”。本发明还涉及一种通过所述装置和方法生产的包装后的物品,例如一包吸烟物品。
背景技术
一包吸烟物品,例如一包香烟,通常在包装过程中生产,其中,在包装过程中,围绕一批吸烟物品形成容器。在包装过程之后,最后用阻挡膜包裹并密封包装,该阻挡膜被设计为既用来保护防止诸如湿气的外部影响,还用来保留香气并保持吸烟物品的新鲜度。阻挡膜通常为柔性的片材,其优选地为透明的并且可以由玻璃纸、聚丙烯或其它类似的合成膜材料制成,阻挡膜通常被热收缩、加热并结合在包装周围。
阻挡膜可以被配置为沿一条线撕破或破坏,以使消费者能够在购买后取得包装内的吸烟物品。就这一点而言,该线可以为例如通过刻划形成在阻挡膜材料中的薄弱线(aline of weakness),或者为沿着粘附在阻挡膜上的撕条的线。耳片或翼片通常定位在线的末端,以允许用户启动阻挡膜的撕扯或破坏。然而,已经发现阻挡膜的结合或密封可能与该薄弱线相干涉。具体地,耳片或翼片可能粘在阻挡膜上使得影响通常的对膜的撕破或破坏的方便性,使消费者更加难以移除阻挡膜并取得吸烟物品。
发明内容
据此,本发明的目的在于提供一种改进的用于包装物品,例如吸烟物品,的设备和方法,其解决了上述问题。本发明的另一目的还在于提供一种相应地改进的一包吸烟物品。
根据本发明,提供了一种用于包装物品,例如吸烟物品,的设备。此外,本发明还公开了这种设备的各种有利的和/或优选的特征。
因此,根据一方面,本发明提供了一种包装设备,特别是用于包装吸烟物品,其包括:
包裹装置,用于在待包装的物品周围包裹阻挡膜,所述物品例如为一包吸烟物品;和
至少一个密封头,所述密封头具有接触表面,所述接触表面用于与包裹在物品周围的阻挡膜接触并且沿接缝密封所述阻挡膜,以在物品周围形成保护性壳体,
其中,所述密封头的接触表面是至少部分不连续的,以在密封头中提供非密封区。
如上所述,在本发明中,阻挡膜设有薄弱线或薄弱区(例如,易破或可破的线或条),其有助于膜的移除并且使消费者获取物品。因此,使用本发明,可以在阻挡膜的结合或密封过程中设置密封头,使得非密封区至少部分并且优选地全部覆盖膜中的薄弱线或薄弱区。通过这种方式,密封头能够在不负面地影响膜中的易破或可破的线或条的情况下进行阻挡膜的所需的结合。
在优选的实施例中,包裹装置被配置在待包装的物品周围包裹阻挡膜,使得提供阻挡膜的重叠区,在该重叠区密封头沿接缝接触并密封阻挡膜。阻挡膜的该重叠区例如可以通过重叠所述膜的边缘部和/或折叠所述膜的边缘部而形成。
在优选的实施例中,所述密封头包括加热装置,用于加热接触表面以通过热结合或熔接的方式沿接缝实现阻挡膜的密封,即,当密封头接触包裹在物品周围的膜时。就这一点而言,非密封区与阻挡膜不接触,并且因而实际上执行很少的或不执行热结合或熔接,并且因此这样不会涉及定位在该区中的膜的易破或可破的线或区域。可替代地,可以利用粘结剂粘结通过由密封头在接触表面上施加压力而获得。在这种情况下,非密封区与阻挡膜不接触并且在阻挡膜上不施加压力,在该特定的非密封区中其也如期望地没有粘结剂。因而,可以在该区中避免粘结剂粘结。
在优选的实施例中,所述密封头是大致细长的形状,并且所述非密封区可以被提供为横向于所述密封头的纵向范围的中间区。就这一点而言,所述非密封区可以延伸达所述密封头的全部宽度的至少50%,优选地至少75%,更优选地至少90%。在一个特定的实施例中,密封头的接触表面沿纵向方向是完全不连续的,使得所述非密封区延伸跨越所述密封头的全部宽度。然而,在可替代的实施例中,接触表面可以沿纵向仅部分地不连续(并且因而也是部分连续的),使得所述非密封区不延伸跨越所述密封头的全部宽度。具体地,在非密封区附近,接触表面可以横跨密封头的宽度的25%(优选地等于或小于10%)。通过确保接缝至少在小区域内是连续的,阻挡膜可以更好地保护防止诸如潮湿的外部影响,并且还更好地保留香气并保持吸烟物品的新鲜度。连续区域优选地位于接缝的外周或边缘部,但是可以同样位于其中心或中间部。
在特别优选的实施例中,非密封区的几何形状在二维或三维上变化。例如,非密封区的几何形状可以在密封头的接触表面所在的平面中变化。更特别地,非接触区的宽幅可以在密封头的宽度方向上(例如,线性地或以阶梯方式)变化。因而,在诸如耳片或翼片的致动装置被设置在阻挡膜上或中以被用户操作(例如抓取并拉动)从而致动或破坏膜中的薄弱线或薄弱区的情况下,密封头可以被设置为:当阻挡膜被沿接缝密封或热结合时,非密封区的较宽部覆盖耳片或翼片。所述非密封区由所述密封头中的凹部或空腔形成。这样,作为一种非密封区在接触表面所在的平面中的几何形状的变化的替代方案或附加方案,所述凹部或空腔的(垂直于所述接触表面的)高度或深度可以在密封头的宽度方向上变化。通过这种方式,在非密封区中由密封头赋予阻挡膜的辐射热的量也可以得到控制。
在优选的实施例中,所述包裹装置包括保持器,优选地为可旋转的圆盘的形式,用于保持一个或多个所述待包装的物品并且用于将包裹在阻挡膜中物品运输到密封头。所述密封头优选地相对于保持器能够移动,以接触包裹在相应物品周围的阻挡膜并沿接缝密封阻挡膜。在保持器为可旋转的圆盘的情况下,通过使圆盘绕其轴线旋转来运输包裹后的待包装的物品,并且密封头可以是相对于圆盘在径向方向上能够移动的,以沿接缝接触和密封阻挡膜。
在特别优选的实施例中,所述设备包括至少两个密封头,每个密封头被配置为在包裹在待包装的物品周围的阻挡膜中形成接缝的一部分。就这点而言,所述密封头优选地被配置为单独地并且相继地与物品接合。两个密封头例如可以围绕保持器或圆盘的外周彼此间隔设置,以单独地并且相继地接合每个物品。因而,所述密封头中的每一个密封头可以具有非密封区,并且各个非密封区具有不同的形状或构造,它们可以在形成接缝的过程中彼此配合和/或互相补充。
在优选的实施例中,待包装的物品包括一包吸烟物品,其包括被支撑在由刚性或半刚性材料(例如硬纸板、增强纸、纸板、纤维板、聚合物片材等等)形成的框架上或内的一批吸烟物品本身。当然,所述刚性或半刚性材料的框架也可以是相对柔软的,在不考虑其构成成分的情况下其应该在尺寸上是稳固的,以便给予吸烟物品的包装结构稳定性,并且由此在运输和储存过程中保护吸烟物品以防损坏(例如意外的压或挤)。因而,一批吸烟物品和框架使用阻挡膜通过将阻挡膜的重叠部密封起来以形成一个或多个接缝而被包裹或封闭。
根据另一方面,本发明提供了一种包装物品,例如一包吸烟物品的方法,该方法包括如下步骤:
提供用于包裹在待包装的物品周围的阻挡膜,所述阻挡膜包括易破线或部;
将阻挡膜包裹在待包装的物品周围;
提供具有接触表面的至少一个密封头,接触表面用于密封阻挡膜,其中,所述接触表面是至少部分不连续的,以在密封头中提供非密封区;和
使密封头接触包裹在物品周围的阻挡膜,以沿接缝密封阻挡膜,藉此所述非密封区被定位为至少部分地并且优选地基本上完全覆盖阻挡膜的易破线或部。
在优选的实施例中,所述方法包括加热密封头的接触表面以通过热结合或熔接的方式沿接缝实现阻挡膜的密封的步骤。此外,时密封头接触阻挡膜的步骤优选地包括通过密封头的接触表面在阻挡膜上施加压力。
在优选的实施例中,阻挡膜中的所述易破线或部包括:一条或多条薄弱线,例如刻划线或穿孔线,并且还可以包括致动装置,例如耳片或翼片,致动装置设置在阻挡膜上或中以被用户操作(例如,抓取并拉动)以致动或破坏易破线或部(例如弱线或弱区)。就这一点而言,所述非密封区理想地被定位为至少部分地并且更优选地完全地覆盖致动装置(例如,耳片或翼片)。
根据另一方面,本发明提供一种包装后的物品,例如一包吸烟物品,其由本发明的如上述实施例中的任一个所描述的装置和/或方法生产。
因而,本发明还提供了一种包装后的物品,例如一包吸烟物品,具有包括阻挡膜的外包裹层,所述阻挡膜沿接缝被密封以形成包围物品的保护性壳体。阻挡膜具有易破部或条和用于致动易破部或条的耳片,其中接缝延伸跨过所述易破部或条,并且接缝不覆盖耳片。
在优选的实施例中,在柔性阻挡膜中的易破部或条包括至少一个薄弱线,例如刻划线或穿孔线,并且接缝在它跨过膜的易破部或条的位置是至少部分不连续的。
因此,在另一个方面中,本发明提供一种包装后的物品,例如一包吸烟物品,其具有包括阻挡膜的外包裹层,所述阻挡膜沿接缝被密封以形成包围物品的保护性壳体。阻挡膜包括易破线或部,并且接缝延伸跨过易破线或部,接缝在它跨过膜的易破线或部的位置是至少部分不连续的。在接缝的不连续区域中,阻挡膜通常不被密封。
在优选的实施例中,接缝在接缝的全部宽度范围(即,横向于接缝的纵向范围)内的至少50%、更优选在至少75%、并且甚至更优选地在至少90%上是不连续的。在特别优选的实施例中,接缝在其宽度的至少一部分上被密封;优选地在其宽度的至少约10%上被密封。

现在参考图3,更详细地图示了密封头21、21’的密封元件22、22’。图3的上部以平面图或仰视图(即,沿相对于圆盘10的轴线A的径向方向)示出了每个对应的密封元件22、22’的接触表面23、23’。接触表面23、23’中的每一个接触表面具有非密封区24、24’,非密封区沿相应密封元件22、22’的横向于其纵向范围的宽度范围内延伸。就这一点而言,非密封区24、24’用剖面线表示,并且由密封元件22、22’中的每一个密封元件的表面中的凹部或空腔25、25’形成。因此,非密封区24、24’中的每一个非密封区在对应的密封头21、21’的接触表面23、23’中形成至少局部不连续部。为了清楚起见,在下面的说明中,两个密封站20、20’将分别被称作第一密封站20和第二密封站20’。第一和第二密封站20、20’的各种部件也将用术语“第一”和“第二”表示,这有助于使本说明书的更加清楚。
例如,在第一密封头21中,非密封区24具有基本一致或者恒定的宽幅(breadth)26,并且延伸达第一密封元件22的宽度27的90%。通过这样,第一密封头21的接触表面23在第一密封元件22的右侧保持连续的窄带或条(即,约为接触表面23的整个宽度27的10%),如图3所示。
相比之下,第二密封头21’的非密封区24’横向延伸达第二密封元件22’的全部宽度27’,致使接触表面23’在该区域完全不连续。此外,非密封区24’的宽幅26’还在接触表面23’的平面中以阶梯形式在右侧的较窄宽幅和左侧的较宽宽幅之间变化,如图3所示。
进一步参考图3,图的下部以在垂直于圆盘10的轴线A的平面中沿方向X-X和X’-X’截取的剖面图示出了第一和第二密封头21、21’的密封元件22、22’。以这种方式,可以看出相应的第一和第二密封头21、21’的非密封区24、24’的几何形状在三维上发生变化。因而,当第一密封头21的接触表面23与沿着吸烟物品的包P的侧边区域重叠的阻挡膜4接触时,在第一密封元件22的右侧标注“a”的区域与阻挡膜4直接接触,而标注“b”的部分与阻挡膜4间隔开(例如0.1mm)并且不接触阻挡膜4。实际上,整个非密封区24不接触阻挡膜,并且因此对接缝9的形成不起作用。形成非密封区24的凹部或空腔25的高度28越高,在非密封区24内第一密封元件22与阻挡膜4之间的距离越大,并且来自密封元件22的辐射热可能越少地影响在该非密封区中的阻挡膜。关于第二密封头21’,明显的是,在非密封区24中第二密封元件22’与阻挡膜4更进一步地间隔开(即,由于空腔25’的高度28’)。在右侧由“c”表示,间距可以为约0.1mm,而它在第二密封元件22’的宽度27’上近似线性地增大到由“d”表示的一侧的约0.2mm。这里应当注意,虽然在图3中高度28、28’被呈现为分别在密封元件22、22’的宽度27、27’范围内变化,但是它们也可以沿密封元件22、22’的所述宽度27、27’具有基本恒定的数值,而不会明显改变密封元件的密封性能。
通过设置第一和第二密封元件22、22’,使得其非密封区24、24’与在相应密封站20、20’的每个密封站处的阻挡膜4的片3中的易破条7对齐,从而可以沿在包P的侧边处的接缝9、9’密封或热结合阻挡膜4,而不会负面地或不利地影响用户对易破条7的后续操作。即,通过以这种方式配置密封元件22、22’,第一和第二密封头21、21’确保沿接缝9、9’形成令人满意的密封,同时非密封区24、24’同时确保阻挡膜4的片3中的易破条7保持其操作功效。就这一点而言,第二密封头20’被优选地设置为使得非密封区24’的较宽的部分覆盖在易破条7的耳片或翼片8上,由此确保阻挡膜4的热密封或结合最少地影响致动装置,并且由此还确保合适地开始易破条7的致动。

Claims (20)

1.一种包装设备(1),包括:
包裹装置(2),用于在待包装的物品(P)周围包裹阻挡膜(4);和
至少一个密封头(21、21’),所述密封头具有接触表面(23、23’),所述接触表面用于与包裹在物品(P)周围的阻挡膜(4)接触并且沿接缝(9、9’)密封所述阻挡膜(4),以在物品(P)周围形成保护性壳体,
其中,所述密封头(21、21’)的接触表面(23、23’)是至少部分不连续的,以在密封头(21、21’)中提供非密封区(24、24’),并且其中,所述非密封区(24’)的宽幅(26’)沿所述密封头(21’)的宽度(27’)变化。
2.根据权利要求1所述的包装设备(1),其中所述物品(P)为一包吸烟物品。
3.根据权利要求1所述的包装设备(1),其中所述密封头(21、21’)包括加热装置,该加热装置用于加热所述接触表面(23、23’)以通过热结合或熔接的方式沿接缝(9、9’)实现阻挡膜(4)的密封,藉此,所述非密封区(24、24’)与阻挡膜(4)不接触。
4.根据权利要求1至3中任一项所述的包装设备(1),其中所述密封头(21、21’)是细长的,并且所述非密封区(24、24’)是横向于所述密封头(21、21’)的纵向范围的中间区。
5.根据权利要求1至3中任一项所述的包装设备(1),其中所述非密封区(24、24’)延伸达所述密封头(21、21’)的全部宽度的至少50%。
6.根据权利要求5所述的包装设备(1),其中所述非密封区(24、24’)延伸达所述密封头(21、21’)的全部宽度的至少75%。
7.根据权利要求6所述的包装设备(1),其中所述非密封区(24、24’)延伸达所述密封头(21、21’)的全部宽度的至少90%。
8.根据权利要求5所述的包装设备(1),其中所述非密封区(24’)在所述密封头(21’)的全部宽度(27’)范围内延伸。
9.根据权利要求1至3中任一项所述的包装设备(1),其中所述非密封区(24’)的宽幅(26’)在所述密封头(21’)的宽度(27’)范围内线性地变化或以阶梯方式变化。
10.根据权利要求1至3中任一项所述的包装设备(1),其中所述非密封区(24、24’)由所述密封头(21、21’)中的凹部或空腔(25、25’)形成,其中所述凹部或空腔(25、25’)的垂直于所述接触表面(23、23’)的高度或深度(28、28’)能够在横跨密封头(21、21’)的宽度(27、27’)的方向上变化。
11.根据权利要求1至3中任一项所述的包装设备(1),其中所述包裹装置(2)包括圆盘(10),所述圆盘用于保持多个待包装的物品(P)并且用于通过使圆盘(10)绕其轴线(A)旋转而将用阻挡膜(4)包裹的物品(P)运输到密封头(21、21’),其中所述密封头(21、21’)能够相对于圆盘(10)沿径向方向移动,以接触包裹在相应物品(P)周围的阻挡膜(4)并沿接缝(9、9’)密封所述阻挡膜(4)。
12.根据权利要求11所述的包装设备(1),包括至少两个密封头(21、21’),每个密封头被配置为在包裹在物品(P)周围的阻挡膜(4)中形成接缝(9、9’)的一部分,其中所述密封头(21、21’)被配置为单独地并且相继地与物品(P)接合。
13.根据权利要求12所述的包装设备(1),其中所述密封头(21、21’)围绕所述圆盘(10)的外周彼此间隔设置,以单独地并且相继地接合每个物品(P),其中所述密封头(21、21’)中的每一个密封头具有非密封区(24、24’),所述非密封区(24、24’)具有不同的形状或构造。
14.一种包装物品(P)的方法,包括如下步骤:
提供用于包裹在待包装的物品(P)周围的阻挡膜(4),所述阻挡膜(4)包括易破部或条(6、7);
将阻挡膜(4)包裹在待包装的物品(P)周围;
提供具有接触表面(23、23’)的至少一个密封头(21、21’),所述接触表面用于密封所述阻挡膜(4),其中,所述接触表面(23、23’)是至少部分不连续的,以在密封头(21、21’)中提供非密封区(24、24’),所述非密封区具有沿所述密封头(21’)的宽度(27’)变化的宽幅(26’);和
使密封头(21、21’)接触包裹在物品(P)周围的阻挡膜(4),以沿接缝(9、9’)密封阻挡膜(4),藉此,所述非密封区(24、24’)被定位为至少部分覆盖所述易破部或条(6、7)。
15.根据权利要求14所述的方法,其中,所述物品(P)为一包吸烟物品。
16.根据权利要求14所述的方法,包括加热密封头(21、21’)的接触表面(23、23’)以通过热结合或熔接的方式沿所述接缝(9、9’)实现阻挡膜(4)的密封的步骤。
17.根据权利要求14至16中任一项所述的方法,其中在柔性的阻挡膜(4)中的所述易破部或条(7)包括:一条或多条薄弱线(6);以及用于致动所述易破部或条(7)的耳片(8),其中所述非密封区(24、24’)被定位为至少部分地覆盖所述耳片(8)。
18.根据权利要求17所述的方法,其中,所述薄弱线(6)包括刻划线或穿孔线。
19.根据权利要求17所述的方法,其中,所述非密封区(24、24’)被定位成完全地覆盖所述耳片(8)。
20.一种包装后的物品,其由权利要求1至13中任一项所述的设备(1)生产或通过权利要求14至19中任一项所述的方法生产。
