技术领域
本发明涉及车辆碰撞传感器,更具体地,本发明涉及用于将碰撞传感器卡扣配合安装到车辆的安装构件的设备。
背景技术
可致动的车辆乘客保护系统在本领域中是已知的。这样的保护系统可以包括一个或多个车辆碰撞传感器,以用于检测车辆碰撞条件的出现。当检测到车辆碰撞条件时,保护系统可以致动可充气装置,例如安全气囊,以帮助保护车辆的乘客。
某些类型的车辆碰撞传感器可以包括机械装置,例如开关,其响应于车辆的变形或车辆的突然减速而关闭。机械装置的关闭表明出现车辆碰撞条件。其它车辆碰撞传感器可以包括电气装置,例如加速度计,以用于检测碰撞条件。当电气装置的处理的输出例如越过阈值水平时,确定将要出现车辆碰撞条件,并且致动可致动的约束装置。
用于检测车辆侧面撞击的车辆碰撞传感器必须具有特别快速的响应时间,原因是在侧面撞击事件期间用于致动保护乘客的可充气装置所需的时间段远远小于在正面撞击事件期间用于致动保护乘客的可充气装置所需的时间段。为了帮助改进用于感测侧面撞击的车辆碰撞传感器的响应时间,通常是将车辆碰撞传感器定位在车辆的侧面位置,例如定位在车辆的车门内。这样的侧面撞击碰撞传感器布置可以包括加速度计和/或压力传感器,它们分别监测在车辆车门碰撞的情况下将会出现的车辆侧向加速度变化和车辆车门内的压力变化。响应于侧面加速度和压力变化信号来确定车辆侧向碰撞事件。
发明内容

具体实施方式
参考图1-3,根据本发明一个示例性实施例制成的为碰撞传感器组件20形式的电路安装布置示意性地示出为用作车辆中的可致动的约束系统的一部分。碰撞传感器组件20包括壳体22,该壳体在模制过程中由塑料材料制成。根据一个实施例,在碰撞传感器组件20的壳体22中的是碰撞加速度计24和压力传感器26,这两者安装到印刷电路板(“PCB”)27。加速度计24感测与特定取向轴线相应的碰撞加速度。在用于检测车辆侧面中的碰撞事件的碰撞传感器组件中,加速度计22将具有其与车辆的前后轴线垂直地取向的相关灵敏度轴线。压力传感器26在车辆的侧面撞击碰撞事件期间测量例如将在车辆车门内出现的空气压力的任何变化。在碰撞事件期间,车辆车门的撞击将导致车门内的内部体积减小,这使得车门内的空气压力上升。电子控制单元(未示出)将连接到传感器,并且基于传感器输出做出碰撞确定。

安装开口130还包括用以接纳安装柱110的键槽134。本领域的技术人员将会理解,在传感器组件100组装到安装构件132期间,组件100首先倾斜,以便将安装柱110和附接的螺母112插入到安装开口130的宽部分136中。然后,组件100相对于安装构件132滑动,以便将安装柱110滑入到键槽134中。然后,组件100被进一步推向安装构件132,以便将保持结构120、122卡扣配合成与安装开口130的宽部分136的侧面过盈配合。安装结构120、122将组件100充分地保持到安装构件132,以便允许组装人员拧紧螺母112,从而将壳体104固定到安装构件132。对于这种特定的设计,应当理解,压力入口覆盖物106和电气连接器覆盖物108均位于车辆车门的干燥侧上,而螺母112位于车门的润湿侧上。
参考图10-12,示出了本发明的另一个示例性实施例。根据这个示例性实施例,传感器组件200包括壳体202,该壳体具有主体部分204。壳体
202的内部是压力传感器210和加速度计212。压力覆盖物220从主体部分延伸,并且具有进入端口222,该进入端口提供从传感器组件200的外侧到壳体202内的压力传感器210的空气压力连通。电气连接器覆盖物230从主体部分204延伸,并且包括电气连接器销232,该电气连接器销提供与位于壳体202内的传感器210、212的电气连接。衬垫224对压力传感器210提供不透水的密封,使得进入覆盖物220的开口的任何水将不会到达任何其它内部电路或加速度计212。
保持构件236通过例如注射模制工艺形成在压力覆盖物220的侧面上。如以上参考其它实施例中的其它保持构件所述的,根据一个示例性实施例,保持构件236由诸如塑料的弹性体材料制成,该弹性体材料在插入到安装构件244的开口240中时能够变形。安装结构244例如是位于车辆车门内的梁结构。安装结构244中的开口240的形状基本上与压力覆盖物220相同(在该示例性实施例中大致为D形),并且其尺寸稍稍大于压力覆盖物220的外部尺寸,使得当壳体安装到安装结构244时,保持构件236变形并且与安装构件244的开口240形成过盈配合。实际上,组件200卡扣配合到安装结构244中。一旦壳体204卡扣配合到安装结构244的开口中,其就通过保持构件236保持就位,使得组装人员能够将安装螺栓(未示出)插入到圆柱形安装衬套250、252中,并插入到安装结构244的接纳孔中。然后,螺栓可以拧入到相关的螺母中并拧紧,以便以与如上参考本发明的其它实施例所述的类似方式将壳体204附接到安装构件244。
组件200还包括防水密封衬垫258,该防水密封衬垫附接到壳体202的主体部分204并从该主体部分延伸。防水密封衬垫258设置成用以在壳体202的主体部分204与安装构件244之间形成不透水的密封。如上参考本发明的其它实施例所述的,这将保持车辆车门的润湿侧和干燥侧之间的不透水密封。如上所述,衬垫224也形成不透水密封,以防止水接触组件的内部电路/传感器。
从以上本发明的说明中,本领域技术人员将会认识到改进、变化和修改。本领域技术人员认识到的这些改进、变化和修改将被所附权利要求覆盖。

Claims (19)

1.一种电路安装组件,其包括:
壳体;
突起,所述突起从所述壳体延伸;
至少一个保持构件,所述至少一个保持构件附接到所述突起,并且所述至少一个保持构件适于在接纳在安装结构的开口中时变形并与所述安装结构形成过盈配合,以便将所述壳体保持到所述安装结构;
至少一个附接构件,所述至少一个附接构件用于提供所述壳体与所述安装结构的固定附接;
位于所述壳体中的电路,所述电路用于执行一定的功能;以及
电气连接器,所述电气连接器用于提供位于所述壳体内的所述电路与外部装置之间的电气连接。
2.根据权利要求1所述的电路安装组件,其中所述至少一个保持构件包括多个带有肋的元件。
3.根据权利要求2所述的电路安装组件,其中所述至少一个保持构件由弹性体材料制成。
4.根据权利要求1所述的电路安装组件,其中所述至少一个保持构件包括多个V形元件。
5.根据权利要求4所述的电路安装组件,其中所述至少一个保持构件由弹性体材料制成。
6.根据权利要求1所述的电路安装组件,其中所述附接构件包括螺纹柱和螺母,所述螺纹柱从所述壳体延伸并附接到所述壳体,所述螺母接纳在所述螺纹柱上。
7.根据权利要求1所述的电路安装组件,其中所述壳体包括至少一个安装孔,并且其中所述附接构件包括延伸穿过所述至少一个安装孔并穿过所述安装结构的螺纹螺栓和螺母。
8.根据权利要求1所述的电路安装组件,其中所述电路包括用于感测车辆碰撞事件的车辆碰撞传感器,并且其中所述安装结构固定到车辆上。
9.根据权利要求1所述的电路安装组件,其还包括衬垫,所述衬垫固定到所述壳体,以便在所述壳体和所述安装结构之间提供不透水的密封。
10.一种车辆碰撞传感器组件,其包括:
壳体;
突起,所述突起从所述壳体延伸;
至少一个保持构件,所述至少一个保持构件附接到所述突起,并且所述至少一个保持构件适于在接纳在车辆安装结构的开口中时变形并与所述车辆安装结构形成过盈配合,以便将所述壳体保持到所述车辆安装结构;
至少一个附接构件,所述至少一个附接构件用于提供所述壳体与所述车辆安装结构的固定附接;
至少一个车辆碰撞传感器,所述至少一个车辆碰撞传感器位于所述壳体内,用于感测车辆碰撞条件;以及
电气连接器,所述电气连接器用于提供位于所述壳体内的所述至少一个车辆碰撞传感器与外部控制装置之间的电气连接。
11.根据权利要求10所述的车辆碰撞传感器组件,其中所述至少一个保持构件包括多个带有肋的元件。
12.根据权利要求11所述的车辆碰撞传感器组件,其中所述至少一个保持构件由弹性体材料制成。
13.根据权利要求10所述的车辆碰撞传感器组件,其中所述至少一个保持构件包括多个V形元件。
14.根据权利要求13所述的车辆碰撞传感器组件,其中所述至少一个保持构件由弹性体材料制成。
15.根据权利要求10所述的车辆碰撞传感器组件,其中所述附接构件包括螺纹柱和螺母,所述螺纹柱从所述壳体延伸并附接到所述壳体,所述螺母接纳在所述螺纹柱上。
16.根据权利要求10所述的车辆碰撞传感器组件,其中所述壳体包括至少一个安装孔,并且其中所述附接构件包括延伸穿过所述至少一个安装孔并穿过所述车辆安装结构的螺纹螺栓和螺母。
17.根据权利要求10所述的车辆碰撞传感器组件,其中所述至少一个碰撞传感器包括压力传感器,并且其中所述突起包括压力进入覆盖物,所述压力进入覆盖物用于允许所述壳体外部的空气压力到达所述压力传感器,所述至少一个保持构件附接到所述压力进入覆盖物。
18.根据权利要求17所述的车辆碰撞传感器组件,其中所述壳体包括至少一个安装孔,并且其中所述附接构件包括延伸穿过所述至少一个安装孔并穿过所述车辆安装结构的螺纹螺栓和螺母。
19.根据权利要求10所述的车辆碰撞传感器组件,其还包括衬垫,所述衬垫固定到所述壳体,以便在所述壳体和所述车辆安装结构之间提供不透水的密封。
