本专利申请涉及于2012年10月25日所申请的题为“具压紧环的面板紧固件”的美国临时专利申请第61/718,466号的非临时申请,并要求该申请的优先权。
技术领域
本发明涉及一种可伸缩面板紧固件,它具有在螺钉的伸出位置固定螺钉的装置。更具体地说,本发明涉及在螺钉盖与保持器之间进行操作使螺钉/盖组件保持在它的伸出位置的装置。
背景技术
可伸缩面板紧固件有各种用途,包括装配到最近采用表面安装技术(SMT)的印刷电路板。可伸缩面板紧固件允许螺钉相对于保持器部分的相当大的浮动,以补偿未对准,但是这种灵活性在电路板表面安装过程的拾取和放置方面出现困难。在拾取和放置的过程中,紧固件由螺钉的最上面部分所保持(通常通过气动保持),然后被放置在印刷电路板(PCB)上。上述关于保持器的盖/螺钉集成部分的浮动特性导致保持器不一定在螺钉的下方居中,由于放置是由螺钉的位置来控制,因此,保持器可能无法在PCB中找到预定的安装孔。
本领域中已知的针对此问题的解决方案是提供一种面板紧固件,其具有使紧固件本身保持在它的压缩、螺钉伸出位置的装置,以便为表面安装组装过程的拾取和放置提供牢固和稳定的居中组件。授权予Wang的美国专利第8,113,755号描述了这种装置的一个例子。根据该文献,诸如O形环或螺母的止动环被放置在螺钉的端部周围,并将止动环定位成当螺钉位于螺钉的伸出位置时与保持器的端部邻接。一旦面板紧固件已被组装到PCB上,便将所述环或螺母移除。虽然这种解决方案解决了浮动SMT面板紧固件的拾取和放置问题,它还是不理想,因为它需要移除螺母和环的额外步骤,以及随之而来的废品废料处置问题。
发明内容
为了解决上述现有技术的需要,将本发明设计成在表面安装过程期间将浮动的弹簧偏压可缩回面板紧固件组装到PCB时,将该面板紧固件维持在它的伸出位置。根据本发明,为了保持面板紧固件的盖/螺钉部分固定在它的压缩、伸出位置,将橡胶环或带添加到保持器的外侧并保持在凹槽中,所述凹槽使所述环相对于所述紧固件的其它部件定位。如以下将更详细地说明,选择这样的结构设计特征:环与盖的底部周缘的唇部之间的过盈配合,籍此靠摩擦力限制螺钉的移动,使螺钉保持在最下面的位置(即螺钉的伸出位置)。
更具体地说,本申请设计成一种面板紧固件,其包括具有头部的螺钉,以及保持器,所述保持器具有孔,用于可滑动地收容螺钉的柄。盖刚性地固定到螺钉的头部并且具有向下延伸的管体部分,在所述管体部分的最底部周缘具有围绕保持器的面向内的周缘唇部。唇部通过与保持器的顶部凸缘接触沿缩回方向轴向系紧螺钉。柔顺的可变形环设置成围绕保持器的外侧,所述环的外径的大小设置成有大于螺钉盖的唇部的内径,通过将所述盖的唇部向下推过所述环后,可以使盖/螺钉组件保持在伸出位置中。围绕保持器的外表面的凹槽轴向固定所述环,以当所述盖抵靠着所述环移动并在跨越所述环时抵抗所述盖的力。所述凹槽的定位较佳地能使所述环保持盖行进至完全伸出位置时的最底部,所述盖行进至完全伸出位置时的最底部由盖的内部最顶部分与保持器的顶部之间的接触限定。所述环可以由诸如硅氧树脂的任何合适的柔性材料制成。
在此方面,在详细地说明本发明的至少一实施例之前,应当理解的是,本发明在其应用上并不被限定在详细的结构或者以下的叙述或附图所示的组件的布置。本发明可有其他的实施例且可用其他不同的方式予以实施并实现。同样可被理解的是,在此所用的措辞与术语是为了说明之便,因而不应视为限定。
就此而论,本领域技术人员将理解本发明所依据的概念,易于被用作为实现本发明多个目的的其它结构、方法和系统的基础。因此,重要的是权利要求应被视为包括这些等同结构,只要它们不背离本发明的精神和范围。

具体实施方式
现参照附图,图1示出了本发明的面板紧固件11的透视图。紧固件的部件包括具有头部21的螺钉17,头部21具有用于转动螺钉的工具接收部分。圆周盖13刚性地固定到螺钉,在蓋13上刻有深槽沟以便于手动转动螺钉。保持器15系紧盖/螺钉组件并且将盖/螺钉组件保持成在缩回位置与伸出位置之间可滑动。如在本技术领域中公知,通常在螺钉和保持器之间操作的压缩弹簧将螺钉偏压至伸出位置,然而,本发明不使用弹簧也可同样进行紧固,因此,在本实施例中未示出弹簧。图1示出了伸出位置,而图2示出了缩回位置。
现参照图3,图1示出伸出位置的剖视图。在该位置,盖/螺钉组件位于它的最下面位置。环19被定位在保持器上使环定位的凹槽中。所述环和凹槽的大小设置成防止所述环在保持器上沿轴向上下移动,但使所述环始终位于凹槽中。所述环伸出的长度要大于盖13的底唇部21的内径。如图所示,凹槽和环轴向定位,以在盖/螺钉组件行进至接触到由保持器的顶部产生的硬止挡件时抓持盖13的最底部。在这硬止挡件位置,所述盖应当是刚好过了环直径的中心但仍然靠接着环上,如图所示。这样就能够抓持住盖,同时有足够的力克服弹簧的力,如果使用弹簧的话,并且将整个组件保持在一起并置于居中和刚性(非浮动)位置。
现参照图4,所述环由足够柔顺的材料制成,以允许盖滚过环并使所述环变形成非正常状态,使得盖到达伸出位置,如图所示。当螺钉17和与它连接的盖13被向上拉时,环19仍牢固地保持在保持器15的凹槽中,图中示出了螺钉17和与它连接的盖13在最上面位置。选择在表面安装过程期间能够承受焊接的温度的材料作为所述环的材料。所述环的材料不应太柔软或柔顺,以致于在温度升高的情况下,所述环从保持器释放盖/螺钉组件,或者在SMT过程期间,当紧固件的弹簧放松时,所述紧固件可能跳脱。硅氧树脂材料是用于所述环的良好候选材料,但其它材料也是可能的。此外,因为重要的是,容易地将盖拉过环,所以在表面安装过程期间,所述环不得变硬。一旦盖如图4所示已经移动跨越环,面板紧固件仍维持其全部功能,以其通常方式使用。
本发明相对于现有技术的一个主要优点在于,保持环是保持器的永久构件,不需要移除。因此,一旦SMT过程完成,本发明不会产生任何废品或废料,或需要额外劳力来移除。本发明在美观上不会减损面板紧固件的外观。
因此,前述内容仅被视为本发明的原理的说明。另外,因为许多的修改及变更对于熟习本领域的人士而言是可轻易思及的,因此本发明并不受限于本文中所示及所述的确定结构及操作,且所有适当的修改及均等型式因此都可被归类成落在本发明的范围内。

Claims (7)

1.一种面板紧固件,包括:
螺钉,所述螺钉具有头部;
保持器,所述保持器具有孔,用于在缩回位置与伸出位置之间可滑动地系紧所述螺钉;
盖,所述盖刚性地固定到所述螺钉,所述盖具有向下延伸的管体部分,在所述管体部分的底部具有面向内的周缘唇部;以及
柔顺的可变形环,所述环设置成围绕所述保持器的外侧,所述环的外径有大于所述唇部的内径,以致于在所述唇部被向下推过所述环后,所述螺钉被保持在所述伸出位置中。
2.如权利要求1所述的面板紧固件,其特征在于,所述面板紧固件还包括凹槽,所述环位于所述凹槽中以轴向保持所述环。
3.如权利要求2所述的面板紧固件,其特征在于,所述凹槽被定位在所述保持器上,以致于所述环轴向保持所述螺钉行进至伸出位置时的底部。
4.如权利要求3所述的面板紧固件,其特征在于,所述螺钉行进至伸出位置时的底部由所述保持器的顶部与所述盖的内部最顶部分之间的接触限定。
5.如权利要求4所述的面板紧固件,其特征在于,所述环由硅氧树脂制成。
6.如权利要求5所述的面板紧固件,其特征在于,所述盖的所述管体部分的外侧刻有槽沟,以便于手动转动。
7.如权利要求6所述的面板紧固件,其特征在于,所述面板紧固件还包括设在所述螺钉的所述头部中的工具接收部分。
